However, when I have gone during the day. Been told by dancers at different clubs they prefer days because they overall prefer the day customers. More mature, not drunk and some of us old folks talk about more than just sex and sports.

Dave, I think it's OK for you to return to Bandaids. I haven't seen Damian in a long time. In fact, I ran into him some months ago working at Essex and I jokingly asked if it was a change in "duty station" (FYI for others, Essex, Bandaids and Hi Liter are under the same ownership). He was pretty cool, smiling slightly he said, "Something like that. " I haven't seen him at any club since then. Too bad since I thought he was beginning to relax a little with regulars and starting to thaw that cold exterior.

All good points. Yes the good old days of the 90's. I was much younger and had to fight off many dancers wanting me At one clubs the hostess was amazed she had to take a waiting list for dancers for me. I never tipped but dancers liked by massages and soft hands. Lot less turnover then so you could make friends with dancers and repeat easier and find.

Since I'm probably the oldest here, I realize some of these youngones don't really like dancing for grandpa figure On the other hand I know some dancers prefer us old geezers.

I wish we had some secret signal to let dancers who give up on guys that hey were are interested. At least if dancer is right body type. Not DD's,not artificial, and has a personality. Gee I am hard to please but at come clubs don't even get the chance to turn down dancers.

I must say Hi-Liter has been the best for getting approached.

As has been said at other clubs dancers tend to hang out with regulars, friends, other dancers and not actively go for us unknowns.

Also wonder why dancers don't read these boards and participate some. A few have here over the decades but very few. Would think they or managers would be interested in what is said about them here and on the other big board that is all strip club related but no city forum just reviews.

I just posted on the backpage report wall and I wanted to ask the same question here but specifically for strip clubs. I am new to the "mongering" world and I just got out of a 5 year relationship and want to have fun!

Thanks in advance for any advice!!I have been to a few of the clubs and here is a quick run down of "hands on", "hands off". God bless Phoenix and their $10.00 floor dance pricing. Its consistent all across the valley and depending on where you go, great times can be had for $10.00 a song!

Jaguars- Hands off for the most part. I have felt lots of ass there but no titties.

Great Alaskan Bush Co- Been awhile since I have been there but it was 100% hands off and the bouncers hover. Won't go back.

T&A Cabaret on Central- Had a few dances there, semi hands on but then the bouncer came and whispered in my ear that you couldn't touch. Haven't been back since that episode.

Bourbon Street Circus- Floor dances are hands off for the most part. VIP $20.00 dances, are hands on for the most part with the right girl. All depends. Its about 50,50 depending on the girls working at the time.

Bandaids- Hands on. Always on, even encouraged on. Not every girl, but most of them will actually grab your hands and let them wander. My favorite club in Phoenix by far. Day shift is best with some great looking Hispanic girls that you can feel up. $10.00 dances on the floor are just as good as $20.00 VIP dances. I always stick to floor dances here.

Hi Liter- Depends. I have had a few girls grab my hands and encourage touching but then I have had some that brush them away and don't allow you to touch anything. More often than not, you will be happy if you pay attention and choose wisely. Owned by the same guys are Bandaids. Put 2 and 2 together if you wish.

Blue Moon Lounge- Guaranteed hands on. At least all the times I have been there and got a dance. Way more than hands on sometimes.

Xplicit- Depends on the girl and where the dance is. Hands off for the most part but I have had a few girls where I could sneak a feel of some titties and they didn't mind.

If I were to only choose 2 clubs to go to, Hi Liter and Bandaids EASILY are the best 2 where you have a chance to be hands on. They are the most chill clubs too. You can sit and relax if you want, you can have fun if you want. By far my 2 favorite clubs in Phoenix.

So against better judgement I visited bluemoon west after an in call fell through near there. Seems the owner took over the old locos cabaret and made it an all nude club again. Two words: expensive and boring.

They didn't make any improvements, just removed the bar.

It's too brightly lit, cover was 12 bucks! Canned soda saw 3 dollars.

Apparently all the top less girls moved on so bluemoon day girls are working nights there. There look exhausted too, so no fun.

No semi secluded area for a dance, just the brightly lit main area.

I understand that there is not much to work with, but they could have dimmed the lights and added a second door to eliminate the privacy issue from outdoor lights.

Not what I had hoped for. Wednesday night, had an hour to kill, maybe around 6:30 or 7. Honestly, I stopped here instead of hilighter because center folds doesn't charge a cover before 8 pm. This way I don't leave all pissed when things turn out poorly. The entire hour I was there only three girls rotated on the stage, the time I get to see who I will likely spend sometime with. Actually, a slight correction. As I was leaving another girl showed up on stage but still not my type. Very slow I guess or I just caught a slow time. Probably my least memorable experience there and only cements the day time is better them at some clubs. Only one of the three peaked my interest but when she was off stage, she just walked back and forth between the bar and the DJI both, never making eye contact. Oh well, not that bad since I only paid 5 for a drink and then left. Should have went to highlighter or band aids. Been a while since I've been there.

Ok so last night I decided to try the New BM so I started my night by heading that way. I wish I had check the latest posts here, that would have saved me the gas, the $12 cover and the disappointment. This place is tiny. I didn't see it before the remodel so all I saw was a tiny stage, new carpeting and new chairs and couches. The girls were all 4's in my book. All fat, not thick but fat. None of the 3 that were in was attractive. Needless to say I spent about 20 minutes here hoping to see something and it was a waste, and the bathrooms were just nasty. So do yourself a favor and avoid it.

Next I headed to Bandaids. Cover was only $6 so that was very nice at 9 pm. Headed over to the stage area, plenty of girls all from 7-10 min my book. Even the servers were cute. Got few chair dances and had a few drinks, a decent time but nothing special.

At around 10:30 I headed to the BM on Vanburen. I usually have a good time here. Saw a stunning ebony dancer on stage, a solid 9 body wise, all natural but her face wasn't as cute. I however never got approach for a dance even though I constantly tipped at the stage. Regardless I enjoyed the show, saw a couple of petite blonds very cue but larking on the boobs. I spent an hour here then I was about to call it quits but I decided to try Heat on McDowell.

Well Heat is topless, a $10 cover. The place seem pretty nice, not fancy but well kept. However it was deserted. The only people here were 6 dancers, about 4 guys who seemed to be friends of the dancers, the bartender and a doorman. I came in and a trashie looking blond approached me and made small talk but within a min she said she had to go smoke. Ok then I saw a thick ebony girl who was really putting some work on the tiny stage. Now this girls had a nice firm bubble butt, a perky set of Cs and thick toned legs. We chatted for a while and she offer to take me into their VIP area. Well she made comments about how intimate it can get. Well we went to the VIP, or a small room in the back of the club. Not too private but dark enough that one can play. I was aloud to roam freely, however since this is my first time in this place I did not push my luck too much. She did hinted to doing more but I decided to play it safe for now. Her name I believe is Ms Tease. So the way the dances are charged are: $5 on the chairs then there are $10 at one sides couches and $30 at the VIP per song. A bit expensive but I got to roam plenty so I guess its ok. I will try this place again as the other dancers seem very attractive and I want to try my luck.

Thanks.I don't usually haunt nude clubs but there are only two clubs that aren't in somewhat depressed or low income areas. That would be Les Girls on E. Washington and Centerfolds on W. Peoria. I've only been by Les Girls two or three times. I was not impressed by the dancer attitudes in the topless section. Didn't spend much time in the nude area.

I would recommend Centerfolds as the better experience but I believe the nude section has limited hours and maybe only certain nights.

Usual caveats about watching your butt and taking standard security precautions apply in any area of any town.

New guy (to Higgs and I. He has been to the clubs before), was great and I had a lot of common background with him. All 3 of us have more or less they same taste for dancers looking for some personality and naturals.

BSC has a reputation of attractive but big busted enhanced which none of us like. However, many of the dancers were my more preferred slim and not bigger than see natural breasts. Some natural A's and be's which I like.

After chatting at the bar and after the 9 PM line up of dancers, we took a table near the VIP entrance. Kind of must have been the elders corner!

New nice guy was of course immediately approached and Higgs and I had to wait to be found by dancers. Fortunately I got very luck (as did Higgs after me) with Mariah. She is very sharp, nice smaller naturals, and wow did we connect physically as soon as she hit my lap. 3/7/2015 - Saturday night about 11 PM.

After great time Higgs and I had with Mariah at BSC and after meeting nice new to us guy from a Phoenix board Higgs and I ventured to Bandaids which I have avoided at night since last visit and my encounter with brainless hulk Damien on 11/4/2012. I was there once in the day since then in March 2014. Higgs assured me Damien had been seen for a long time.

There seemed to be a new entry staircase to the Stage and big guy was taking hand of dancers to help them down the steps with their often high heeled shoes. I mentioned it to a dancer in my lap and she said someone had fallen but off the pole earlier that night. Otherwise everything the same as 2 yrs ago.

Higgs met nice lady off to bar area while I stood at the entrance planning my next move.

Soon tall black nice body Paris chatted me up. It was her first night at Bandaids but previously had danced at Jaguars. Good personality and body but dance a bit to wiggly and squirmy vs intimate. As most were later. Not the more intimate type I enjoy vs just sexy moves.

About the same with dances from Mya, Tanya, Cass. Nice, friendly, enjoyable but not the more intimate sensual I like the most. Royalty was last and was the best on sensual but about a 3 on my 0-5 intimacy scale (with 5 rare) Mariah was a rare 5 just before at BSC. Bandaids is good for full contact "sampling" at $10/ dance hoping to find the jewels for my type of dances that I have enjoyed here in year gone by.

I was very happy that the lineup at BSC was varied and the stereotype that everyone seems to think of as just stuck up big busted princesses was not true.

Yes, Mariah was all over Dave. It was, indeed, a sight to see Dave in his glory. I too like the cuddly type of lap dance. Not always easy to find. Truly the lineup had something for everyone. Gosh, now it sounds like I'm a shill for the club.

Sorry that I had to leave early, as I need an proper introduction to BandAids, a club that I have never appreciated.

Day shift was great, Miya or Mega? Was the best, a real sweat hart, the best nip on the place. . 41 gets you 3 short songs, the first two your hands can Rome up top, the third the dancing starts. . 1 in fee. Had a good time there twice.

With the amount of time I spend on these boards I'm surprised I haven't heard of it.I think somebody mentioned it just the other day. I haven't been inside for several years. The first few times there were quite a few really beautiful ladies but I couldn't never justify paying spending much for the Scottsdale air dances. I think I went to a VIP area off to the side once and it wasn't anything special.

They had some snacks out once so I guess that's a small plus if you like something to munch on. One of the other downsides to me is that I don't like the cramped space. Probably what kept me from going back was just that most of the girls just felt way to uppity.

I think there was a time that some of the neighborhood residents were upset and taking photos of cars in the parking lots and posting them up on the internet. But maybe I'm remembering that all wrong.

I think the biggest problem is city ordinances that would prevent unlicensed dancers from performing on stage. I've never been to that Christie's but I'm nearly certain it's technically in Guadalupe and I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they don't have any laws to cover that in their city.

After 3 or 4 interior remodels over the years, the Bandaids exterior really needed something to made it appear less foreboding and more inviting. Think back to how ugly the Pantera exterior was (the former incarnation of Essex) and ditto for Bombshells (now Sugar 44).

Then, simply ask the managers of target clubs when they do auditions. Typically it won't be on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If she doesn't want to do something as public as that, I'm sure there are some fitness places in the Valley that have poles installed. There was a period when pole dancing as fitness was big.

BTW, if this women wants more than a brief one-time appearance on a stage, she should "bring it" and don't hold anything back in make-up, hair, costume, and shoes. I've met a couple of dancers who wanted to expand their club possibilities. They showed up for the audition dressed (or maybe it's UNdressed) to impress. If she wants ideas on shops, it seems Secrets has costumes and shoes that will knock your socks off. Buy me a beer sometime and I'll tell you a story.

Also, it might be a good idea for her to visit some clubs as a customer to find her comfort level and and not blindly show up at some random club without knowing what kind of crowd shows up.

Hi-Liter adventures Wed night 4/22.

After meeting a friend nearby and my Chiropractor. Thought would stop in for a brief visit to Hi-Liter since its been awhile.

Arrived about 5 PM and was quite packed but settled into an appropriate chair to be noticed.

"Higgs" and I met him at Bourbon Street a few months ago and had a great time. We had already by e-mail agreed to meet up with Higgs again (when he gets off the train) this Saturday but I didn't know when he was arriving.

Pardon my digression. Now back to the great dancers! Now with the two of us.

BigTim47 returned to the Valley as promised, and we, including Dave, met at Bourbon Street in time for the nightly 9 PM dancer review on stage. It was fun being there with Dave and Tim and we planned to check out some other club (s). In "after action" texting, BigTim noted I was restless at BSC. I admit that, after awhile, the "cookie cutter" dancers and scarcity of natural breasts ("there goes one now!) At Bourbon Street made me a little impatient, especially after I sampled the one dancer who interested me and that didn't turn out as nice as I liked. Not tragic, just found the "fakey" little squeaky noises she acquired since last time to be a turn-off. Not helping was a lone jerk at an adjacent table who wouldn't leave us along.

Eventually, BigTim bestowed mercy on me and he suggested I show him Bandaids. OK, I had warned BigTim that I felt Bandaids was in the midst of a periodic slump. My last few visits have been less than wonderful, there's no denying it. Most of the current dancers are the usual Saturday night faces but unfortunately not the dancers who have excited me most in the past. There's still a couple of dancers I think are nice, and, perhaps ironically, one of them according to a source doesn't like males of my ethnic background. If true, she's a good actress. I may chalk it up the catty attitude of another dancer. Of course she digs me! (ha, ha).

It was time for Dave and BigTim to get restless. I can't say thing were great that evening. Dave had to leave, and BigTim said he was headed for the Hi Liter. Frankly, I don't blame him. I was ready to go there too but then I was joined by a dancer I hadn't seen in about a year when she left to do her own strip club tour in other states. I've found her to be extremely hot, so it didn't make much persuasion for me to stay awhile longer. Finally leaving, I was surprised to be followed from the lounge to the bar by Estrella who must have had a bad evening. She asked how I was doing and then asked if I wanted to have a dance with her. She probably doesn't remember me tell her long ago that I wouldn't get any dances with her if she got her boobs done. I have to admit that sometimes I get tempted because of those tiny g-string thongs she wears.

This part of Higgs as the usual great summary I thought I'd comment on and leave out of the reviews (long as usual) I am going to post.

I assume this guy was the one mainly bothering me since was right behind me. Who tried to ask a question To BigTim in German thinking he looked German.

At first after that had some just friendly conversation. He his head was right behind mine the way the two tables were situated.

But then I detected perhaps a symptom of ADD, which I have experienced with another guy long ago from my Vancouver reports. It is the aspect of HyperFocus where like the guy in Vancouver who use to call me and go on and on and on and on. About strip clubs in Florida, Vancouver the law, etc. He has told me he has ADD and seems to be the son of rich parents, so he doesn't need a job just obsesses about strip clubs and always having to talk to me about them.

Anyway the guy last night started talking constantly to me asking what I would do different in life, his father that died at 102 who was some champion body builder (I mentioned my friend who won female body building championship who was from Germany (Ms World or something long ago. Her competition videos are still being sold by some and can find using Google.)

But his conversation kept getting more intense including going after what you want What would I want? Then says look at that dancers you know you could F her. Why don't you F her right now!" It is now getting just obnoxious and how to I extract myself from him!

I could just move to another table but was with Higgs and BigTim at an ideal table next to the stage where BigTim could tip and say a few words to a dancer.

I finally rolled my chair as far away from him as I could and talked more with BigTim mentioning the obnoxious guy. Didn't think Higgs picked up on this (or was with the dancer in the VIP).

SAVED by a Dancer. As I disconnected as much as I could from him a dancer approached him. She sat and was the focus of his hyperfocus the rest of the night and she didn't seem to mind. No dances just talking. From what I could pick up I think they were arranging to meet outside the club. I did give him the time when he asked me what time it was. Relieved it was her not me of his focus. They were talking about what time she got off.

This was the first time I've ever been annoyed by a customer!!

Bandaids 4/25/2015.

After Bourbon Street Higgs, BigTim (visiting again from MN) and I went on to Bandaids. Was a cool drizzling night and small crowd for a Saturday night. I was the last to arrive and Higgs and BigTim already were talking with dancers in the bar area.

Soon Royalty was snuggling up nice with me while we were all standing together. Unfortunately I see so many dancers I didn't remember her at first but did with a few dances and looking at my March 7th notes. As last time, really nice interaction and dances. She loves my massages and really nice few dances. A 4 on Dave's intimacy scale of 0-5 with 5 rare.

Arrived at 9 PM and met with "Higgs" and "BigTim" At was a cold night with rain expected (by cold like 55 F which is cold in Phx). Was a much smaller crowd than when last here at this time. Both fewer dancers and customers.

After popcorn and talk at the bar where we met we went to an ideal table just off the stage where BigTim could tip and make brief conversation with the dancers. He is the outgoing one of our trio.

Gosh, I don't where to start. Higgs and Dave have already highlighted our strip club adventures last Saturday night. First off, I think Dave is exaggerating my strip club abilities. I just like to have fun and I'm not afraid to approach dancers and engage them in playful conversation.

To set the record straight, yes, I prefer natural boobies, but that doesn't preclude me from other man. Made types. Personality is a must for, and a functioning brain. Not always an easy find in a beautiful body.

I'm glad we started on Bourbon, as it is my favorite club. Yes, as Higgs says, they may have a "cookie cutter" lineup. Yes, all beautiful, no dogs allowed. I have always been a vouyour, so I prefer to look at the prettiest ladies possible.

I know Higgs and I don't agree on clubs at all, so I wanted to give Bandaids another try. Fortunately upon entry- thanks, Higgs for paying my cover. I was accosted by the best young dancer from in the lineup, so on to VIP after soon small talk. OK, but nothing great. However, in sitting with Dave visiting, I was continually hustled by dancers sitting down on me that I did not wish to see. Made me a bit uncomfortable, so I told Higgs, it was time for me to head out to Hilliter to finish the night. Higgs was in his element and glory!

Hilliter was packed with no room to sit, late on a Sat night. So I guess for me Hilliter is the best compromise between Bourbon and Bandaids.

Sonny's: Very glad to hear of the new ownership. Past experiences have been poor. Low mileage dances, apathetic staff.

Bandaids was a hard habit to break, yet recent successes elsewhere and the declining quality of dancers have kept me away.

Cheetahs music being played too loud kept me away, though a recent visit gives me hope.

HiLiter is simply a consistently good bet. Experperienced my first uneventful night recently. They get a pass after numerous successes.

Candy Store is my current favorite. Have developed some chemistry with a couple dancers and the amazingly good times have kept me from HiLiter. Been going during the day. Midweek and weekends. Wish they would staff more girls, yet cannot complain. Recently had one of my best VIP experiences ever.

I am not delusional. I have been going to strip clubs for almost 50 years. Yes, I'm old! As I stated, "I'm in on the con". I know how the hustle works. I enjoy meeting young ladies at the clubs. In the course of conversation, I usually ask a young dancer, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" If I get a blank stare, like you mean I have to think about that, I will move on.

Not to sound like a elitist, but in the better clubs that I go to. Like Bourbon. I meet and enjoy many dancer / students. XXXXX, the young lady at the front door taking your entry fee on weekends, is usually reading / studying from a text book when I go in. An anomaly, maybe, but I tend to see the best in people. I try not to paint all dancers with such a negative broad brush. Yes, I do meet young "snot nosed" 20 somethings just starting out dancing that are all in for the money, parties, etc. Or some older ones that have danced too long without any direction; I avoid them.

Sometimes I get a phone number for take-out from a dancer the first time I meet them, I will usually pass, and discard the number. Yes, I am fussy.

I'm on face book with several dancers as friends. And yes, I know their real names. I treat them with respect. They are real people with a life beyond the clubs. Driving up Scottsdale Road the other day and I saw that Babes had a guy holding a sign on the sidewalk to draw in traffic. Not sure it was working and not sure what that means but I can't say I've ever noticed that at a club before.

Swung by T&A on Central yesterday (Friday). It was pretty busy at the end of the work day. Probably normal but I've never been at that time.

After a failed attempt on the stroll I decided to stop by Bandaids at around 10:30 pm. Place looked very slow as the parking lot was very empty. No cover tonight and $2 you call it, I counted 6 girls, 2 Latinas 2 blondes and 2 ebony. Nothing impressive as far as looks and most of them were too busy talking to the few people that were there. Only one of the Latinas stopped by to offer me a dance but she wasn't my type so I passed. Had 2 drinks and left at around 11 pm.

The club and dancers regularly run scams, make offers that may or not deliver, and if delivered, only at outrageous cost. Also, more than once reports have been posted about physical threats by Dream Palace bouncers when a customer declined offers.

If you're from out of town and reading this, you should know Dream Palace handsomely rewards taxi drivers for each passenger delivered to their door. If you don't specify or require a different club, chances are the driver will take you there.

My advice: don't go to any club in Scottsdale or Tempe.

Bonus: don't go to "Modeling" places or any place on University Drive with the exception of Xecutive Show Club. Since I'm mentioning it, the Xecutive has been a decent but not great place to visit occasionally. It's sort of out of the way.

Anyways this week went to check out Sonny's because of all the new ownership rumors. Cops use to spend nights watching for the slightest infraction. Another club owner I know had to shut down for a week or so due to slightest contact or face a large fine.

Fortunately virtually no enforcement in the last 5+ years but some owners want to follow the law to the letter. These days LE gets lots of funding to go after consenting adult companions under the fantasy of all escorts are victims and have to be saved. Even if they are very happy. There is now a huge amount of money for the victim industry but hasn't been expanded to strip clubs other than specific complaints. In one case by the upset ex boyfriend of a dancer.

My fear is that too much (extras) will go on as it does in some clubs and bring LE attention and enforcement of the current strip club ordinance.

Sadly we have a very immature culture forced on us by certain very wealthy, mostly Christina based groups that think they know what is best vs most of the world.

I'm familiar with the Phoenix application forms for cabaret performers which specifically talks about things like incidental hand contact during tipping and I think that all those rules were also explicitly codified in the law. Chandler laws seem pretty lean in comparison.

"Adult service" means a dance, performance or other activity, including, but not limited to, service of food or beverages, modeling, posing, wrestling, singing, reading, talking, or listening conducted for any consideration in an adult service business by a person who is nude during all or part of the time that the person is providing the service.

"Nude" means without opaque nonflesh-colored fabric fully covering the cleft of the buttocks, anus, pubic regions, male genitals, female genitals, and female breasts below the tops of the areola.

18-11.4. A person may not provide an adult service in an adult service business except upon a stage elevated at least eighteen (18) inches above floor level. All parts of the stage, or a clearly designated area thereof within which the adult service is provided, shall be a distance of at least three (3) feet from all parts of a clearly designated area in which patrons may be present. I'm not sure that table dances without a stage and a barrier are technically even legal. It doesn't appear to say that touching the knee would be a violation as far as the city is concerned though. On my visits out to Desert Flame I seemed to meet quite a few girls who also worked at Sonny's and none of those experiences ever made me want to go find them at the other club.

So I actually am going to be living in the area where Candy Store is. I tested it out Saturday afternoon. About three or four girls working. Only two I thought was good looking. I didn't talk to any of them though. They were busy constantly. With a few customers. It reminds me of a high class Bandaids LOL. Nice setup. I can see myself going there more often. Have to see how the dances are soon though.

Hey Pervs! 1st time report here but a long time reader and even longer patron of all the Phx area clubs. I've never really posted on here because the reports are pretty spot on.Hey DS! Great report on both clubs. I can tell you're a great guy even if you are a metal head (smile). I was really tempted to visit Sonny's again since a certain Essex dancer told me she was moving there. This was just after she gave me one of the hottest set of dances I've ever had. I thought the Essex security guys were going to hose us down, it was that intense. Just to give an idea how long ago my single visit was, Sonny's was next to farm fields and there was no Loop 202. With your report, I suspect it will be a lot longer before I enter their doors. It's just too out of my way to make a special trip. I still have that dancer's phone number. I'll have to call and find out where she is now. Hard to imagine her staying at Sonny's.



I have also been hitting up The Candy Store as I find myself in that part of town every now and again lately. They have some really nice looking girls there and I like the music they play, I'm a metal head. One thing I hate about that place is the parking lot and entrance. Its right on the corner of a busy intersection and I just imagine all the people passing by, judging you as you walk in on a sunny afternoon.Hey don't worry about it. I previously posted that I had heard that the owners of HiLiter were buying Sonny's. Not true. A favorite HL dancer friend knows the owner of Sonny's and lives not too far from the club. While she sat on my lap earlier this week at the HL, I asked her if she had heard about Sonny's being sold. She says it's not HL doing the buying, but the owners of Bourbon Street! If this is true, they've got their work cut out for them to improve the facility and talent level.

This sort of question comes up at least once a year, sometime twice, from out of town visitors and we, myself included, shout out our favorites. We have it relatively good here in Phoenix. Dances, whether on the floor or in the VIP are reasonable, drink prices and drink specials are good. So, the clubs are often differentiated by the dancers a club allows after auditions and clubs' physical facilities.

I fully agree with BigTim47 and others that Bourbon Street is the place to go if you want to find dancers that look just like Playboy models. With that comes enhanced breasts, mostly no waists, relatively smaller rears, no large tattoos and the dancers are typically white with 2 or 3 Asians and a black dancer.

I've occasionally thought it would be interesting to share impressions of clubs. For example, here are some of mine based on evening visits.

Best club for biker and metal chicks: The Candy Store. Mostly white dancers with Lots of tattoos and fake boobs.

A club with the most black dancers with tattoos: Essex.

Clubs with highest percentage of white dancers: Bourbon Street, Xtasy Show Lounge (far west Glendale).

Looking for Latinas? Try Bandaids, Essex, T&A on Central, Chicas.

Black dancers: Essex, Bandaids, Chicas.

Ethnic mix probable on a given night: Bandaids.

"Classy" clubs: the Christies' clubs on 32nd St and on Baseline. After that, The Hi Liter, then Bourbon Street.

The lower end clubs: T&A on Central, Chicas.

So I stopped by dirty's tonight as I had a few minutes to kill. The vibe is much better than when it was stillettos and many more girls were there. Still won't be my first choice as hiliter and bandaids tend to fit what I'm looking for. Plus, the crowd at dirty' was a little rougher. As I was walking back to my car, a group of guys were hanging around chatting outsides or I kept my wits about me. Got into town late last night and stumbled upon Blue Moon West. Usually when I come to Phoenix I stop by the regular Blue Moon, so I figured I would give West a try. I went in about 11:00 pm last night. I was surprised to find I was the only guy in there on a Friday night. I was there for about 40 minutes and just watched the girls dance on the stage. I must have gotten there at feeding time as no one asked me for a dance. No one seemed interested in making money.

After about 45 minutes another guy came in. A little Mexican guy that sat at the stage but did not tip. Then a Mexican looking couple came in. The lady was not bad and was the one tipping the girls, but they only stayed for a little while. Finally I was ready to leave so I picked the only two that looked decent and asked each for a dance. I guess I am just use to the other Blue Moon during the day where the girls are all about making the customer happy. I never leave there unhappy, but the girls at west up front said "if you want to touch me below the waste its $20. " and they never even tried the stick shift. Was told take out was available for $300, but neither of them would be worth that.

I now know why I never hear about Blue Moon West where. Definitely not a BMW more like a Yugo.

Hit up Desert Flame of all places on a Friday around 330 pm. There was about 10 customers there some at the bar and a group of friends hanging out by the stage and around 6 - 8 girls working. Yes, it's Summer in Phoenix, when all the service industries take a hit.

About three weeks ago, I dropped by Bandaids about 9 PM on a Sunday evening. The place wasn't completely empty, but only about 6 dancers and about 10-12 customers split between the bar and the lounge. No cover but dropped a buck in the tip jar for the security guys. Drink specials were good: $3 bottled beer and 2-4-1 mixed drinks. Among the dancers were three black dancers Secret, Lexy, Aliyah (Others were Vanessa, a white dancer perhaps in her mid-30's with large fake boobs, and a somewhat dumpy and googly-eyed blonde who thought we two should go right to the VIP area ("no, thanks" There were probably a couple of other dancers but the 2-4-1 specials clouded my memory. I had a great time with Lexy. Great slim body, nat be*cup breasts and a warm personality.

Couldn't get out again until this last weekend.

Saturday night I thought I'the drop by Centerfolds for the first time in months. It was fairly early, perhaps around 9 PM. The cover was $10 and bottled domestic was $6. 25. It was a sparse crowd and only about 8-10 dancers. The dancers were all white, half with fake breasts. Things were pretty dull and it was much too early for the nude section to open up. Decided to try someplace else.

I thought I'the see what it's like at Dirty's on a Saturday night but as I approached the parking lot I noticed it was packed full. Then I remembered: they were having the porn actress Christy Mack as a featured dancer. I wasn't really interested in porn actresses. Decided to save this club for a future visit. So continued down the road to Essex, thinking I'the check out the current situation before heading for Bandaids. I never made it to Bandaids.

Essex was charging the usual $10 cover. I like the security guys at Essex: they do their job while maintaining a sense of humor. The club wasn't crowded In fact, the club didn't start using their 3rd stage until after 10 PM. Even then there was plenty of seating except in the areas directly in front of the 1st stage. This evening the dancers were all black and latina. The couple of enhanced-breast white dancers who are often there didn't make an appearance. I has a wonderful time with two dancers. One, HWP with nicely shaped be*cups with a shape and face a lot like Rihanna and a pretty smile. The other was a slim, darker latina also with nice be*cups who featured a beautiful set of glutes and thighs without the "fitness gym" overly-muscled appearance. Nice conversation too. I had a great time with these two. I had so much fun it was really too late for another club.

The next night I decided to hit to hit Bandaids primarily looking or Secret and / or Lexy. Unfortunately, neither were there. Aliyah and Vanessa were in attendance with about four other dancers including Devine. Nothing very memorable except one dancer who claimed I had more dances with her than I really did. I went against my usual practice and not only paid her but gave her a little extra. I was amused by her spurious claim and I remembered a pattern from the past. But goodness, I had had a great time fondling her glutes over those songs and made a mental note to cut her off after four dances in the future. It wasn't something to get angry about.

On other SC topics, we talked in the Spring about sudden enforcement of no-touching at Bandaids. I experienced this one evening during that time and a dancer source even told me that she was surprised when a customer's casual brushing of her leg turned into a security warning. She told the security guy that there wasn't a problem but he came down on her too. I haven't seen that security guy in my last couple of visits and I've had no problem since with the kind of casual touching that Bandaids dancers are comfortable with. The managers are certainly OK with it.

I'm torn about my weekend plans. Maybe a return to Essex with a stopover at Dirty's but I had an understanding with Lexy at Bandaids to celebrate an upcoming event. Anyone been to Sugar 44 or the Pink Rhino lately? What to do, what to do.

After the first or second meeting in a club, if she still tries to sell you dances or asks for money, she just sees you as a customer.I just got out of a relationship with a stripper a few months ago. Let me tell you, you do not want to get into that. When I was with this girl, I met a lot of her stripper friends. These girls are constantly in trouble having to be bailed out of jail all the time. They are parisitic leaches that will do everything they can to get at your wallet and suck you dry. They will manipulate you at any chance they have. You will also be one of several men that they do this too. After dating this stripper, I had a pimp that was chasing me trying to kill me because I stood up to him after he beat the girls with a stick. To this day, I now have to carry a 9 mm semi auto because he may try to get me. These girls are sociopaths that have zero morals and will stop at nothing to get money out of you and hurt you if you do not do things their way. They have no conscience. This girl actually stole money from me! After you start dating the stripper, the stripper's other stripper friends will start bugging you and trying to get money all the time to pay their bills. You will instantaneously be put on a list of "tricks" that will pay them. Some of these girls made $1000 a night but were still on food stamps. They spend it all on drugs. I personally witnessed it. The girl I used to date is still dancing at Bandaids. If you look at my posts from a few years ago you can find her name. From personal experience, I would leave these girls at the club and only deal with them there. There is nothing good that can come from a relationship with them.

While less expensive, the lack of quality and risk of LEO, disease, or other drama has me sworn off street girls.

Stopped into Christy's. Tempe tonight around 9:00. Was surprised to see 15-20 dancers. Great variety in terms of ethnicity and body type. $10 cover and $7 beers were a little pricey but the scenery was worth it. Most girls would come over sit in the lap and after a song or two ask for a dance. Did a chair dance with a short brunette with great Cs or Ds and a taller, thinner blonde. Sonny's. They may have thicker girls but I've never been inside and nobody here has positive reviews.

Christies. The Tempe location gets better reviews. Waste of time trying the Phoenix location. (also see lawsuit article in the General Reports.).

Pink Rhino Strip club raided.

As reported on most media, Pink Rhino, new LUX nightclub on its opening night with the same owner as well as other undisclosed clubs were raided by Phoenix PD this morning.

Police are not disclosing what "criminal activity" they are investigating but have been many complaints of loud noise and drinking various media reports indicate.

Photos show large boxes of evidence being taken by police.

Other clubs were also raided but no further details are being released as the investigation is ongoing.

KPHO reports, "According to sources, a number of people have been taken into custody. Sources also tell us that Phoenix Police Department is being assisted with the investigation by the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control and the Arizona Attorney General's Office."

Am concerned that similar activities in Phoenix area clubs could risk the current lack of enforcement of law where there can be no physical contact. Even fully clothed hugs technically violate the Phoenix ordinance passed in 1999. I spoke in opposition before the City Council and on talk radio.

Some of us remember the days when lap dances were with the dancer straddling the arms of the chair so body would not touch the customer. Undercover cops were in clubs as customers looking for any slightest violation.

One club owner I know was forced to shut down for 10 days or face a large fine for very minor customer contact.

We have been lucky in Phoenix for the last few years with almost no enforcement. In some clubs I enjoy greatly, full body intimacy but not anything sexual almost as good as in the huge clubs in Ontario. My concern is guys want to go too far and we risk crackdowns like in the following mass arrests in South Carolina:

Should we demand that dancers stay 2 feet away from us? Should we not get excited when we see female genitalia or get our boys rubbed by a dancer?

Rather than continuously reporting these strip club collisions with law enforcement, why not provide a list of "Dave's do's and don't s".

Just trying to understand your intentions in reporting these news items. I do know that club owners vigorously try to maintain a lawful environment in their clubs. The risk of violations to them would be loss of liquor license for starters.

On another note. Do you know what one of the oldest professions in the world is?

Yep you guessed it. As an example of the resilience of this industry, the famous club in Tucson "Candy Store" was shut down several years ago. It is reincarnated as "Venom" and getting some good reviews.

I post these reports to warn about taking it too far for selfish reasons. I want to be able to do what I enjoy which is not sex, or penetration just like in Canada. When you start getting HJ's or more in VIP this in my view could bring on enforcement. In the last few years LE has been going on a witch hunt for consenting adult esocrts and massage places. It seems other than the action at one club in SE Valley, LE is for the most part only responding to complaints at clubs. Often from former boyfriends. One owner told me they came in and ticketed and dancer but didn't even talk to the manager / owner who was there at the time. This was the same club / owner who in 1999 was shut down for 10 days to avoid a big fine for minor skin contact.

Basically my suggestion is to keep to what you can do on the floor at HL, Bandaids, Centerfolds etc but NOT what happens frequently at Blue Moon or other clubs VIPs

All we need is some goody Christian complaining to the city and we could be back to the old says of no contact and those silly straddle the chair positons we had for a few years starting in 1999.

Good advice from Dick North. You have to go back some months or longer in the forum to understand the Phoenix area issues but here it is in brief: this is a very conservative area and the city has a set of ordinances that reflect that. Dave has talked about the history that led to the ordinances. As usual, it was a conservative group that wants to protect our morals, and the usual BS. The good news is that the city enforcement has been very lax over the past perhaps 15 years, probably because Phoenix City LE thinks it has better things to do than checking on who might be getting a hard-on. The bad news is that there are groups that would gain big political points in enforcing those ordinances. Most specifically, I'm thinking of the elected county sheriff who is under legal and political heat at the moment. He's also facing another election in the near future. He'd like nothing better than to distract the public with something that would "clean up" the Valley. Prostitution sweeps on van Buren and raids on day laborer areas for undocumented immigrants aren't really available anymore.

For these reasons a lot of Phoenix forum members are reluctant to be too specific in their reporting. As one member found out first hand, law enforcement read these fora and can make use of the information. In my case, I may mention dancer offers of SB / SD arrangements, suggestions to meet in the car or OTC, or particular acts but I won't tie or associate these with specific dancers or clubs.

In addition to DickNorth's suggestions, you might want to read our earlier posts regarding hands-off and hands-on clubs. IMHO, the latter offer the better odds.

Some dancers took the Summer off and some have tried clubs in other states to get by. I know of Phoenix dancers going to the east coast, Texas, and California. Many daytime dancers also doing evenings to make up for slow afternoons in the clubs.

It's been a long time since I've been able to file a field report though the field research continues.

In roughly reverse chronological order.

Last Saturday I decided to visit some places I haven't seen for awhile. First I decided to swing by the Pink Rhino about 9:30 PM. Doors were closed but the marquee said 12 AM to 5 AM. Later in the evening a dancer told me that club is functioning as an "after hours" club. My bet that this is for the Summer and not a bad management decision since the club really is a nightclub where things don't happen until 11 PM. I'm thinking the club may resume regular hours in the Fall.

Time to see the Xecutive Show Club. I got there around 10 PM, customers sparse, and a couple of dancers. Five dollar Ciroc drink specials More customers and a total of 5 dancers before 11 PM. Not much going on. Got some decent but not great dances with a hot spinner who did acrobatic moves on the pole. I spent most of my time talking with a former dancer. Finished my evening at Bandaids. Complaints from dancers about not much happening. Met a day dancer at Bandaids who didn't get enough activity that afternoon. Can't say she really did much for me except managing to chafe my groin. There were some new faces (for me) at Bandaids. Honey, a hot thick latina with a beautiful face, and Lonnie, a thick dancer who appeared anglo and featured a pretty face and very large boobs. The boobs may have been fake but very well done.

The previous week Newbie80 and I met. It's been a few months and we were going to get caught up on things but trying to do that in some clubs is a problem. In this case, we started at the bar at the Essex and the music volume was so loud I began to get hoarse trying to talk with Newbie80. Not much happening at this club that evening. Worst Saturday evening I've ever seen at the Essex but Newbie80 hit it off with a hot big booty dancer who had a nice smile and personality. Unfortunately or fortunately, she had a prior commitment with another customer and disappeared into the VIP area. We adjourned to Bandaids. Newbie80 seemed to have a good time with Johanna and with a particularly wide latina (can't remember name). Meanwhile I was having fun with Cache and Secret.

A couple of weeks earlier I dropped by Bandaids on a Saturday night for a pre-arranged meeting with a dancer. We met near the entryway, got some beverages and got caught up on recent events. On the way into the lounge I ran into Tyler. It's been a long time since we've seen each other. We exchanged greetings and a one minute update on what we've been up to. We agreed we should meet in the future for a strip club foray. At that moment Tyler had some activity lined up and I was trying to find to find an open seat in the lounge.

Despite the summer doldrums, a core group of current dancers have become my primary reasons for visiting Bandaids: Secret, Cache (or Cash), Lexy, Kim and Cherry. The first three could pass for swimsuit models when they're on stage in their bikini-styled costumes and heels. Nicely shaped legs, great rears and natural breasts. All five dancers have fun personalities. One evening I noticed a female customer looking over while I was getting a dance. I think she saw my eyeballs rolling back in my head.

On Saturday, June 27, I had my evening planned: a quick stop at Bandaids, then over to Dirty's for a short visit, then over to Essex to check on a couple of hot dancers there. Bandaids was slow, so after a beverage, it was time to hit Dirty's. No cover charge and there was the usual pat-down. I got my beverage and stood at the bar to look things over. A couple of dancers were at the bar and finishing a meal and they disappeared. Soon after that I looked around and I noticed that almost every lounge table was occupied by customers, some with couples. Both aspects were interesting changes from earlier club incarnations. But somethings was wrong. Then I reaIized that, except for the dancer on stage, there were no dancers to be seen. A short while later I realized that all the dancers were hanging out on the smoking patio or were in the dressing room. This was a pattern we saw when the place was Teasers and Stilettos. (Dave, remember some of our previous visits?) I don't know how the dancers at this club are able to get by when they're invisible. With no available dancers, there was no reason to stick around and Essex was the next planned stop. Haven't been back to Dirty's since then.

Planning took a detour. I was headed for Essex at the intersection of 35th Ave when I saw decorative lighting around Fox's. The club had re-opened the night before. I pulled into the parking lot and entered the club to see the results of yet another remodeling. Maybe third time is the charm because the place has started to look somewhat classy. The single main stage is now where the VIP elevated couch seating was. The seating area which previously had a shower enclosure is back to being some kind of VIP area as it was a couple of versions ago. The VIP area that was near the front door and looked like a woodworking project put together by your reclusive crazy uncle has been replaced by a group VIP alcove with a curtain of decorative lighting. I didn't stay long but the whole effect made a favorable impression while imbibing a beverage at the bar.

That wraps up the retrospective. Return visits to Dirtys and Fox's are probably due in the next week or two.

Since I don't drink and have zero interest just looking at bodies I get bored quickly if am not approached by dancers. That are not fat, not huge breasts and natural limits my choices sometimes. Mostly gave up at Essex other than one great dancer more than a year ago. I like Centerfolds but usually never get approached other than in the nude section after 2 AM.

Had a great time in July with a dancer at Hi-Liter but as usual she works infreqently and is so hard to find the same dancer on later trips when so many and I tend to forget faces. Brain is shrinking in old age.

Good advice from Dick North. You have to go back some months or longer in the forum to understand the Phoenix area issues but here it is in brief: this is a very conservative area and the city has a set of ordinances that reflect that. Dave has talked about the history that led to the ordinances. As usual, it was a conservative group that wants to protect our morals, and the usual BS. The good news is that the city enforcement has been very lax over the past perhaps 15 years, probably because Phoenix City LE thinks it has better things to do than checking on who might be getting a hard-on. The bad news is that there are groups that would gain big political points in enforcing those ordinances. Most specifically, I'm thinking of the elected county sheriff who is under legal and political heat at the moment. He's also facing another election in the near future. He'd like nothing better than to distract the public with something that would "clean up" the Valley. Prostitution sweeps on van Buren and raids on day laborer areas for undocumented immigrants aren't really available anymore.

For these reasons a lot of Phoenix forum members are reluctant to be too specific in their reporting. As one member found out first hand, law enforcement read these fora and can make use of the information. In my case, I may mention dancer offers of SB / SD arrangements, suggestions to meet in the car or OTC, or particular acts but I won't tie or associate these with specific dancers or clubs.

In addition to DickNorth's suggestions, you might want to read our earlier posts regarding hands-off and hands-on clubs. IMHO, the latter offer the better odds.

I'm guessing that the SF "rip off joints" are really targeting the tourist trade. It's been noted in the national news that most of the middle class has had to abandon SF due to the high housing costs. "Regular folks" have to commute into the central city to work. The golden days of MBT and the Market Street theatre are long gone. In contrast, the NYC area has some fabulous and hot strip clubs only with the corresponding higher prices for laps (they start at $20 and go up from there). A major difference may be the integration of public transit in peoples lives. The major Manhattan clubs are very close to subway and commuter rail stations, and customers will stop in for a cold one and a couple of lapdances before heading home.

I agree, we actually have it pretty good, as long as it's not in Scottdale, and the lack of clubs in Mesa speaks for itself.

My recent visit included a very special personal experience to walk into MBOT where some of the original porn films were produced.

As I walked through this facility It didn't occur to me until later what an incredible experience this was. Marilyn Chambers et al.

Other than LE routinely comes in to be sure all dancers are licensed, of legal age etc.

There seems to be no decrease in contact activity on the floor.

An owner of some clubs wants to meet with me again. So may find out more afterwards.

A Bandaids dancer told me that the same sign in the' men's room about illegal activities has been posted in the women's room and the dressing room. I noticed the same sign in the Essex men's room and presumedly it's in the other two locations at Essex.

In addition to any issues at the Hi Liter, I talked with one of the Bandaids security guys about the sign and he claimed it stems from the raid on the Pink Rhino. It seems there were two things going on there: some of the dancers there were "dealing". The other issue was that the Pink Rhino was violating state liquor laws. I don't know the details but, as I understand it, commercial establishments are required to purchase their alcoholic beverages through a distributor and the bottles are marked to show this. I seems PR was purchasing the beverages at cheaper prices through other channels and refilling the marked bottles. They've lost their liquor license and, according to one person, it is now a weekend after-hours nude place.

As for the dealing issue, I am not a lawyer but I understand that if an public establishment tolerates illegal activities on the premises the law could close that business. Posting the signs in the restrooms and dressing room might give the business some legal help with LE in court. But I am not a lawyer.

On a side note, it will be interesting to see what happens next at the Pink Rhino. I'm speculating that the owner is being pressured to sell. I doubt the bills can be paid if it continues as a Friday night and Saturday night, Midnight to 4 AM no alcohol club. As many here know, that location has had a turbulent history.

Last Sunday I was in Glendale near Grand and Northern and decided to check out the Glendale Christies' (formerly Pink). I pulled into an empty parking lot and circled the building. Closed, which I thought was strange for a Sunday night. Later that evening I was seated at the bar at Dirty's and a dancer there said she had worked at that Christies. She said she arrived there for work recently and the Christies' management said they were closing after that evening to do a remodel. The management also made some off-hand comment about the new casino (near Northern and the west side Loop 101). IMO, Christies' will have to do something fairly impressive to compete with Xplicit on Glendale Ave, west of the Loop 101. If I was at the new casino and had a choice of glittery Xplicit and dumpy Christies' on Northern, about the same distance either way, I wouldn't hesitate unless one was on the way home for me. What would you choose? Maybe Christies' will gut the building. That would be a good start.

Speaking of Dirty's, as before, the more appealing dancers continue to hang out on the smoking patio or in the dressing room. Granted, there might be customers on the patio but on a previous visit I walked through it and a couple of dancers were the only people out there. On my last visit a server and the barmaid also decided to power up their vaping equipment while behind the bar. You may feel differently but I don't want to be exposed to more airborne chemicals than I need to. I'the prefer that activity was confined to the patio. Incidentally, the club continues to have no cover charge, and has not been charging house fees to the dancers. I'm told house fees will be imposed sometime in October. Maybe we'll see a change on cover with the end of Summer approaching.

I also made another stop at Fox's last week. A dancer there says that many of the current group of dancers were from Sonny's and followed a manager who now handles Fox's. So, if you go to Sonny's and wonder where the better looking black dancers went, you need to go to Fox's. The first dancer gave me the hard sell about going directly to the VIP area. When I declined, she gave some half-hearted dances on the floor. I stopped that after the second song. Not long after, I was approached by another and more agreeable dancer. After I indicated I wanted to be out on the main lounge, she suggested we head to an area with more privacy. Nice personality, slender all natural body, with good dances but the security guy decided to hang out in that same area. At least he wasn't like the guy from a couple of years ago in the same club who stood about six feet in front of the chair and locked his gaze on me and the dancer.

Dropped by Essex. One of the Cardinal football players was due to make an appearance but I didn't stick around for that. Not much going on. The week before I got dances with a couple of slender beauties.

Finished last Sunday evening at Bandaids. You're thinking, what a surprise. Not a lot of activity but met a couple of favorites, another with a set of exquisite glutes, and found an unusual erogenous zone on another.

A story I forgot to report but I was reminded when the subject of the Scottsdale clubs came up. I probably stop by for a visit perhaps every 12 - 18 months, usually Babes because I've never been impressed with the dancer offerings at Skins. When I make a stop at Babes, typically nine-ish on a Saturday night, there seems to be one natural looking and personable knockout at the bar. This is what happened when I showed up last January. I got roped into a friendly conversation with a dancer at the bar; gorgeous face, curvy figure, perhaps all natural, and fun to talk with. I was intrigued. I was posed with the usual question: would I like some dances? I was ready and led the way to the wall seats which count as semi-VIP. I had a minor buzz on and after a couple of songs, I think: "Hey! How come she's so far away?" I was getting air dances at $20 a pop. Nice conversation is good but I felt like a sucker. This is one of the reasons I rarely visit the Scottsdale clubs. Another is that many of the dancers look like graduates of the goth college of cosmetology. Return for the conversation but that's it.

The Blue Moon West advertised a new name in the NT weekly. Can't remember what it is and I don't pass by that area often.

No cover tonight even though it's like midnight. Nice club, more of a sports bar feel but with a stage and a pole. Saw about 8 dancers all looked very hot. Sat down and waited for the server to stop by so that we could order drinks. It never happened, nor did at any point did a dancer approach us. It's not like they couldn't see us, we were a table away from the stage. So after 20 min of nothing we got up and left. So we went up the road to try Foxes, recently opened. This place needs seems ok, only saw about 4 dancers, none of them were particularly interesting. Had a couple drinks and chatted one of the dancers but all in all this place seemed kinda boring. I might try these places again just to see if there are any improvements. But decided to call it night with clubs. Stay safe fellows.

After this whole drug thing they started doing more security checks even during the day. They upgraded the cameras outside and started getting really uptight about people hanging around the parking lot. Expect to be told to leave the property even if you're sitting in your car on the phone.

At night I also saw them hassling some guys after they left and came back a few times. They were spending money and hanging out so I asked them about it. They said it wasn't about the cover charge but they didn't understand why the big deal. Turns out it's more about management reviewing the footage later and the extra security effort.

After that, it all depends on the dancer, the dances (therefore funds) you're willing to invest, and the rapport you establish. Some dancers won't take off much during the first dance but proceed to take off their top on the second or third song.

I've had some dancers "accidentally" rub their boobs on my face but I've also had some place them directly on my mouth. One announced it was "feeding time" and I didn't object. OTOH, you might run into a dancer who says it's only for the VIP area. In those cases, I say thank you after a dance or two, then move on to another dancer.

If you find a dancer who makes you happy, I suggest you get several dances. Also be a nice guy and the combination will probably make you a good memory for her too and good rapport for your next visit.

Oh, and don't bother with the Scottsdale clubs. In my experience the combination of Natural and Large is best found at Bandaids but I call on other readers to report sightings at other clubs.

I was wondering if you could share with me your views on each strip club in Arizona.There are about 25 clubs in the Valley that feature scantily-clad women entertainers. Over the years I've been to all of them but my preference are the clubs that serve alcoholic beverages. In Arizona, the law says fully nude establishments cannot serve alcohol, so I rarely make a point of going to the nude clubs. If you want opinions on ALL the clubs, you will have to read the reports submitted to the forum over the past few years.


I had just turned 19 and have never been to one but I want to go to one with preferably beautiful girls as I dont want a horrible time for my first one. My friend says this one north of asu is good i think its called dream palace but when i looked it up I heard everyone gets ripped off. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks.Since you are a few months younger than Arizona's legal drinking age, you can only visit clubs featuring nude entertainers until you are 21. Typically the entertainers are only nude on-stage. Yes, Dream Palace has a bad reputation and most of us on the forum say stay away. A nude place that seemed nice when I visited is Taboo on McDowell around 18th Street. It's been several months since my visit but the management and dancers seemed very pleasant. Some clubs have split their building: nude and no alcohol in one area, topless and alcohol served in another area. You may be issued a wrist band showing which areas you are qualified to enter. I have the most favorable impression of the nude area at Centerfolds on Peoria Ave between 19th Avenue and I-17. Other clubs that do this include Le Girls and Alaskan Bush Company.

Wherever you go, remember that the dancers do not receive wages but only tips and dance fees from customers. It is considerate to compensate them for their time. Be sure you know how much each dance will cost. Sometimes clubs have different rates for locations around the club. Ask. On the other hand, it is your decision whether to receive a dance at your table / seat / lap. You can say "Thanks, but maybe later" or plainly, "No, thank you. ".

Other opinions? Corrections ? Elaborations ?

BTW, avoid the places on University Drive. They also have a bad reputation.

If all you want is eye candy and go gaga over naked women (or nearly) the Scottsdale clubs we avoid may be good. Although if he is an ASU student (mentions Tempe) there are plenty of women to just look at ASU.

With regards to Higgs post. If you are under 21 your options are limited. Dream Palace is not bad if you stay out of the private rooms, that's where they rip you off. For the record, they quote you something like $200+ for 30 minutes in a private room (I don't recall the exact amount). Once you pay them, they will tell you that only covers the room, not the girl. You'll then have to pay the girl, generally they have you by the balls at that point (unless you want to get into a fight with the bouncer to try to get your money back), the dancer will then want at least as much as you paid for the private room. They'll also imply that you can get a better dance if you tip them more, even implying sex is on the table, it's not, you'll get the same type of dance regardless of what you tip them, that being a lame dance where they may allow you to touch their legs or back. You've been warned, go there and look at titties, tip the girls on stage, but stay out of the private rooms. Better yet, take a drive out to Centerfolds on a weekend, the later the better, and try their nude side.

My first visit to this club was within the first month of its reopening a couple of years ago. At that time, it had one security guy, one manager / bartender and one dancer. The management required payment in advance for dances. I had one beverage, one dance and left.

September 2015, about 2 years later.

And.

A warning.

About 3 weeks ago it was a disappointing Saturday evening at Essex, so I figured I'the make my second visit to T&A on Grand. I believe the cover charge was $7 and reviewing the terrain from the bar, there were about 8 dancers and perhaps 10-12 customers. A couple of attractive dancers. The rest, mmmm, not so much. While I was sitting at the bar, a familiar face and figure emerged from the dressing room. It was Shy from Chicas. She was drunk as usual, maybe even really wasted. We exchanged greetings and she asked about dances. She pointed to the couch area for $25/ dance. I told her I wouldn't pay that rate. She suggested a flat fee and we agreed on four dances. At Chicas, though she was always a little odd, she always gave a nice dance with no issues. You probably know where this is going. At the couch, she gave dances with zero contact and after the third one she announced we were done and pointed to the sign saying $25/ dance. I was not happy. She got the total amount of what we agreed to but she hurt herself because I will never get a dance with her again. Got a set of good dances in the $10/ dance area with another dancer. BTW, dances at the tables are $5 each.

No more nonsense about paying for dances in advance. Staff are pleasant enough. Drink prices are in line with Valley SC averages.

Third visit was another Saturday evening a couple of weeks agol. Again, Essex was disappointing so I decide to see what was happening at T&A on Grand. Don't understand the cover charge, this time it's $11. Like last time most of the dancers aren't particular hot, not even luke warm. Finally, one of the two hot ones is available and I get a set of decent dances. I might stop by this club when the Essex is a bust.

Essex has been interesting for various reasons over the past 4-6 weeks. Dave was there when it seemed to be black night. I missed that evening but had a couple of good evenings when latinas were in strength. You do meet some fun people. On one of the better evenings, I met a nice dancer at the bar and we settled in for some great dances near the 3rd stage. It was on the border of a birthday party being held in the adjacent VIP and at the end of the dances, the birthday boy came down to introduce himself and we had a nice conversation. About 30 minutes later, I was there with another hot dancer and the birthday boy gave her his thumbs up by making it rain for her.

On another Essex evening, I met up with Paris, the nice booty thick dancer that Newbie80 said hi to as we were leaving one evening. Nice dances. She asked if I liked her butt. Well, y-e-a-h! The same evening I met with New York. Guess where she's from. She's a thick latina dancer with a face like Jennifer Lopez, great butt and large natural breasts. I haven't seen either dancer since that evening.

Unfortunately, there have been some Saturday evenings when the best word to describe Essex was "dull" which led to my stops at T&A on Grand. Dirty's and Fox's have been disappointments, so I'm giving them a pass for awhile. Couldn't check out Essex or T&A Grand last weekend because my early evening was devoted to a live music venue followed by a stop at Bandaids.

Chicas has had some changes. They fired several dancers. Probably 1/2 to 3/4 of the dancers on one Saturday evening were latinas. Long-time Chicas black dancers Fantasy and Tyra are still there in the evenings. During the afternoons you can find Juicy.

Just a quick note on my stop by hiliter yesterday. I should have known better but I've never really had a great time when I go there at 4:30 pm. This is a transition time from the day to night dancers. Only approached a couple of times. Didn't seem to be a ton of ladies working like during the busier times. Most table full, wall chairs about 1/4 full. Got a few dances from a AA dancer, fairly certain I've seen her online and pretty sure take out is available. Happy to pass along her info to trusted senior members.

Last weekend was a big music weekend for me. Several must-see bands on national tours and I even had to make a difficult choice between two acts Monday night. But the strip clubs are not to be neglected. Newbie80 and I met at a music venue Saturday night for a show but, alas, the performance was cancelled. What to do with all this extra time? Yes, we hit the strip clubs. We found there were some clubs that Newbie80 hadn't seen yet.

T&A on Central was first up. We arrived around 8:30 PM. The usual I'd check and frisk outside the front door. Yes, even for someone who obviously is more than a couple decades past legal drinking age. Ten dollar cover charge (thanks, Newbie80 for getting that one). It was relatively early for this club. There were still some empty tables around the stage. It normally gets crowded about 11 PM but we couldn't wait around until then. If you've been here in the last 5 - 10 years, it's still the same dump inside and out, and the same layout. I heard there were changes regarding rates for dances on the padded benches at the back of the lounge but I didn't ask. There were about 8 dancers. A couple were busy providing couch dances at the back of the lounge. The rest, three black, a couple of white dancers, and two or three latinas were rotating their time on stage. A couple dancers were very nice. Might come back sometime to get up close and personal with them on a later visit. After sitting through a couple of dancer rotations onstage, we moved on. Newbie80 noted the "in the round" seating arrangement in the lounge. He really didn't care for it. On the way out, I tipped the two hottest dancers and told them I'the be back.

Xecutive Show Lounge on University Drive was second for the evening and also a first visit for Newbie80. I'm guessing we arrived around 9:30. Usual I'd check and frisk, $10 cover charge (thanks again, Newbie80). I got drinks at the bar as Newbie80 found a suitable place to sit. The situation looked pretty dismal. No dancers performing on stage or even in costume. There were about 5 women at the bar and two of them were a same sex couple who definitely were not dancer material. It was unclear whether the others were there socially or to work. The situation improved when a tatooed thick white or latina dancer took the stage and Newbie80 seemed to perk up. She had large and natural looking boobs. I perked up. Meanwhile, the women at the bar dissipated except the couple. Shortly those women materialized in the lounge as three or four black dancers, all hot in different ways. The most stunning had a medium build and was incredible eye candy on and off the stage. The same sex couple was very enthused. Me too but they had her first. I was approached by Capri, medium build and generous butt. Nice dances. It was getting late. Newbie80 and I decided it was time to finish the evening at Bandaids.

Newbie80 has already remarked that the Bandaids door staff waved us in at that late hour. The "Neighborhood Bar with Benefits" was a comfortable place to end the evening.

I happened to be in the area of Essex on Wedesday night and stopped in. I was told by one of the security guys that Wednesday night is the biggest night for the place. Why? It's dollar drink night. I was there about 9 PM and the place got fairly crowded by 10. Despite the staffer claims that it was the best night for the variety and numbers of dancers, it was a mixed bag. Many dancers were hanging out with their friends on the far end of the bar, not making eye contact. Dancers say there were lots of customers but few were getting dances. I connected with a dancer who claimed it was the first night she worked in any club. That may have been true but she seemed to do all the right things and I found it hard to believe it was her first time. So, I took it with a grain of salt but perhaps certain things just came natural to her. She certainly had no predatory attitude. Probably the most interesting dancer I've met in months.

My new dancer acquaintance and I adjourned to Jaguars. It's around Midnight and the place is jumping. Not what I would expect on a Wednesday night. No all night drink specials that I noticed but the DJ occasionally mentioned drink specials. The new dancer had to leave but I stuck around for awhile. Met one dancer who I originally met at (and left) Fox's. Got dances with with her and a couple of others. As always, Jaguars is more of a night club than a typical strip joint. Lots of people coming to party and not necessarily get dances.

Xecutive was the highlight of that night for me. I would have never walked in there out of my own accord. I'm glad Higgs took me there. I'll have to visit again at a later time. The only thing I didn't like was that they use the same type of acrylic cups that they used at the Pink Rhino, I like glass.

Centerfolds has re-done their VIP room, the old spot over by the DJ appears to be more for bottle service now, they moved the VIP area that was there to an area further back beyond that area, it's much bigger, new couches, very dark, less thru traffic, I think I'm going to like it.

Bandaids now has a sign at the front door stating that customers are only allowed to leave and come back in one time. I suppose that can't really apply when they aren't charging a cover and so it won't prevent you from stepping out during typical business hours to take an important call.

They've also got a new setup at the door. I don't want to assume how much data they're going to be saving from your I'd scan but I can't imagine they won't at least keep a record of your previous visits.

Kiley from Chicago and worked at 5 clubs in Seattle. Has only been here 2 weeks but may stay awhile. Met me at just inside door as my eyes adjusting to light. Higgs, BigTim and Dave Sat night adventures. One of my best nights in years at Bourbon Street and then especially Centerfolds.

A 4th nice younger guy who was going to meet us had a scheduling problem and never made it to our group of elders.

Meet at 8:30 at our usual spot at the bar at Bourbon Street. BigTIm seems well known from his many trips here from the cold north country (same as my heritage), as he quickly is greeted and hugged by Bourbon's finest. Introduces the gals to Higgs and I. At the 9 PM "lineup" of the dancers were zillions of them, but many of them seemed to disappear, and the VIP was not very busy. Almost empty when I was there. This is about the only place I use the VIP since no entry fee just $20/ dance and not many dances are done on the floor it seems. I kind of like the narrow but functional booths in the VIP. More like some in the nicer clubs in Niagara Falls, Ontario except they are much larger booths in Canada.

Booths at Bourbon Street are somewhat similar to Essex as I recall but been a long time since I've attracted a dancer from Essex.

A side note. While it seems there are more women customers at Centerfolds than Bourbon Street. A women reports at Bourbon Street, "BONUS FOR GIRLS: The ladies' restroom is INSIDE the dancer's locker room. So, if you are female, you will see lots of tits and ass walking to and from the restroom. NICE!

Since BigTim has never been to Centerfolds, we make our way there.

Arrive maybe around 10 PM at a packed Centerfolds. No room for 3 of us at the bar where we meet up but BigTim spots some seats stage right which turn out to be a good choice as dancers go by us going on stage etc.

Soon after greeting the 3 of us, Allyssa (sp?) from LA winds up in my lap. Kind of exotic face and warm, even though breasts are a bit larger than my smaller ideal. But they are soft, naturally and cozy. She did a nice Table dance. Usually, it seems table dances here are less contact and have to do the VIP with $20 entry fee for my type of good non-sexual touch. But she was good.

Tara is more slender and also good. I think she started talking to Higgs and would up in my lap.

Very sharp, friendly, had danced at Christy's and left when many did with the new management. She started floor dancing with BigTim, and they really seemed to hit it off. Finally out of BigTim's arms I had a nice dance with her but she was next on stage so could only do one, and then had to make the rounds of the other two smaller stages and I lost track of later after I did "recon" for the group to see if the nude side was open.

Another dancer that had long lap chat with Higgs I was interested in. Very vocal about her history etc. But when it got time for a dance she had to go for her round on the 3 stages. It was getting late, and Higgs decided to leave but spoke to the dancer on stage that he had to leave but to see me after her stage dances. This was about the time Haley had come over, and I told her was waiting for the other dancer so she would up with BigTim. However, to my dismay when the other dancer finished her 3 stage round she was talking at the bar with another guy and finally went to the VIP with him and forgot about me. Sob. Sob.

Now maybe 1 AM things were slowing down. Higgs texts BigTim (while with Haley) that he had left his car lights on. So after he leaves, I go to the nude side.

I note they have a few newer chairs in the middle vs. Almost none for about the last year. Not very busy until 2 AM closing of the main area and then lots of dancers and guys come over to the nude side.

Charlie meets me standing at the rail thing. Smaller sexy body (redhead as I recall). Sexy but more the bouncing dance a zero on my intimacy scale.

But it gets better, and then the best.

Black gal whose name I couldn't understand over the loud noise some folks call music, was very nice body and attitude. About a 4 on my intimacy scale.

BTW note to BigTim. I was wrong the dances on the nude side are nude although I doubt taking full benefit of that is allowed. I thought it was just G-string. Not all dancers on stage get nude, but all the couch dances I had were nude. The gal, not me.

Side note:

In reviews, I often express my interest in giving a massage, cuddling, more intimacy than just being sexy and the maybe 80% great comments I get about my soft touch, massage skills, etc. I say this not to brag or be "gods gift to women" but to share learning some good touch skills (which Higgs and BigTim also have), can do wonders relating to dancers vs. The usual grabbing, groping, etc. That some dancers complain about.

I dislike the strip club scene since if you really like someone it may be hard to find them again if only go occasionally, I have a hard time remembering names and faces and would really like to spend more quality personal intimacy time getting to know some dancers that seem to appreciate sincerely my type of interaction. I have had an easier time making "real" female friends in Canada then in Phoenix and since I am not a bar socialite. Visiting clubs on Halloween seems to be a toss-up for me. In past years, Bandaids has sometimes been a good place to hang out. Both that club and its sister club Essex had advertised the Halloween theme in the previous weeks. That evening I happened to be on the West side of the Valley, so I decided to swing by Essex and pulled into the parking lot about 10 PM to find about four cars in the spacious back parking lot. A fair number of the security guys were standing out front staring at their phones. I didn't even stop, but circled through the lot and back onto Indian School Road. This club does tend to start later than many other clubs but usually there are a few customers by 10 PM. Maybe it picked up later as people left Halloween parties but I wasn't going to stick around.

Over to Bandaids: arrived around 10:30, just after the conclusion of the costume judging contest. Not feeling it. A couple dancers talked about trick or treating with their kids or other small relatives. None of the dancers present really appealed to me. I left after one or two drinks, no dances.

Sunday night on the way to Bandaids after a flick on the far west side, I drove past Christies Glendale (formerly Pink) on Northern. It's still dark but, out of curiosity, I looked at their web site and it says the are hosting guest performers Nov. 5 - 7, and Dec. 3 - 5.

Arriving at Bandaids around 10:30 PM, the place looked more lively than the previous night and there were some hot dancers. First things first, it was time to catch the World Series game, now in the 12th inning. It turned out badly for the National League. Time to look away from the screen. (Referencing Danimal Forth's post: Kelly came by to pester me during the ball game. I agree, the one dance I received from her months ago was lame, but she asks me about dances every time I'm in the club. She's almost as persistent as Estrella. I haven't had a dance with her since she insisted, really insisted, on the VIP area a couple of months ago. That evening I refused and paid her for the one lounge dance and went back to the bar. Back to the night of the action: by the end of the ballgame most of the hottest dancers were packing it up. Bummer. I was sipping my beer when a thicker dancer, white or latina in appearance, sat on a stool nearby. But wait, she was more than thick. She could have been a model for Robert Crumb. I struck up a conversation and, yes, we had some dances. The dances were among the most GFE I have every experienced. I felt the earth move. No really, that was the night of the earthquake in Black Canyon City. Not a bad finish to the night but the manager, Dale, seemed to be particularly persnickety about touching this evening. Once just glaring at me as he walked by, then later, while I was in the depths of the GFE, he pulled my hand off her breast. No biggy.

Whats the damage for VIP I'm coming down from Connecticut and that will usually run a couple of franklins for about 45 minutes of dancing in a private room. 3 for an hour in the champagne room which will include some extras if the price is right.As always, things depend a lot on the particular dancer but the floor dances are $10 each and, if you get a chair along the wall, they can be very satisfying. Entry to the VIP area is a one time $20 for which they give you a wristband and unlimited entries for the evening. After that its $20/ dance to the dancer. That's the alcohol-serving topless side. I think Dave gave good coverage of the nude side.

Gosh I really good time with Higgs and Dave as always. Bourbon is my favorite club, and it's always fun to introduce my friends to some of the lovely ladies there. While Bourbon was always known for mostly fake boob dancers in the past, now lately it seems there are many more natural boobie dancers. I like it either way. So if you have not been to Bourbon lately, it may be worth another visit.

Dave exaggerates my skills as a "wingman", but I guess I'm a bit outgoing and find it easy to meet dancers. I'm just a regular guy who asks dancers questions and can "carry the conversation " with them, and tell them a joke or two, or three. And then they like me and feel comfortable being with me. Of course extra twenties in the wallet are also needed. Hey it's about having a good time, which I always have at Bourbon.

Since I had never been to Centerfolds, it was great to have the experience of Higgs and Dave to guide me. My first impression was sensory overload. Yes, it was packed, but the "search lights " were bouncing all over the room and not just the stage as in some clubs. It took me a while to get comfortable. The dancer line up was more varied than Bourbon, so there was certainly something for any ones preferences. As the room opened up and it got late, I did meet some lovely young dancers.

I did check out the nude side at the evening and it was anti-climatic for me. No big deal.

So thanks to Higgs and Dave for another fun Saturday night. Can't wait to do it again.

So as last I left the forum, I needed to take some time off. Definitely was spending too much time and money when I was out and about. A couple of my favorites are now out of the game. One due to a career change, she's now in real estate and another has passed away. As I have returned to periodic visits, I'll begin to post again.

Stardate 11.1.15 at approx 2 PM. Me and a buddy at HL. So we get in and the door guy hustles us for some money as he leads us to an open seat among many other open seats, everybody has to make a buck I suppose. We sit down and eventually the waitress comes over, we order our drinks, let the games begin. As I typically say no much more than I say yes these days, I shoot down various dancers. My friend on the other hand, well he's open for business. First he tries his luck with a new variety of chocolate, thin with a butt. He's less than impressed by her effort so he dismisses her. Then comes along a latina. She's in her 30's and has been dancing there for years now, an attractive woman, but has this custom of wearing wedges instead of the normal stripper shoes. He gets a couple of dances but she is nicer than she is sensual, so once again dismissed. The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful but we did have a fun time with an overall good vibe in the club. So many new faces though that it was almost unsettling. But I guess the only constant is change. Will be investing some time to establish some new ties. We'll see what happens with that.

Go back to that date in the forum to get some opinions. IMO, Hambone78 had the most useful post on the subject. I took the opposite approach, which clubs to avoid.

We've also had some discussion in the past 4 or 5 months on the differences between what the city ordinances say is permitted and what we experience in the clubs. Oh yeah, don't go to the Scottsdale clubs unless you just want to look.

And please submit a report on your experiences.

The VIP areas offer some privacy and more contact, well worth the increased price IMO.

Personally, I find regular lounge dances (not VIP) are good in many clubs. I've never done VIP in Bandaids because almost any chair along the walls is a good place and provides a modicum of privacy.

In Centerfolds, I've had very enjoyable dances on the wall seating.

In Bourbon Street, I use the VIP area when I make the rare appearance there (usually when Bigtim47 is in town). The chairs around the lounge make it almost impossible to get close to the dancer.

Many swear by the VIP in the Hi Liter but I liked the wall seating in the main lounge until the club upped the per dance price on those seats to $15.

At Essex I tried the VIP area 2 or 3 times and never had an experience that was better than a carefully selected place in the lounge. (hint: I like the area by the third stage).

Finally, I agree with Danimal Forth: the clubs will likely be very slow on Thursday, with fewer dancers but perhaps more persistent dancers. Don't hesitate to turn a dancer down if she doesn't appeal to you. Just say, "no, thank you. " Or if she attempts to take you by the hand and lead you to the VIP area, assert yourself and insist on a lounge seat along a wall. The lack of a crowd might be a good low-pressure introduction to Bandaids if you haven't been there before. Relax at the bar with a beverage.

Bandaids has a sign up saying they're opening at 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day.
