I was successful in getting Jackson to add a separate Strip Club Section. I guess I'll be the first to add a report. I made a visit to the Brass Bull during the day on a Friday. It was really slow during the day from what the ladies told me. It looks like the woman are much better looking than I have seen in years past. I sat with Krystal and her sister Sky. Sky was really hot but Krystal was friendlier. Sky was 25 years old, tall, thin, with a great tan and some nice perky tits. Krystal was either drunk or high and she kept asking for a tip. Krystal-late 20's brunette with a medium build. Their cousin Tamara was a really cute blond who was chubby but had some nice big tits. I noticed they didn't have a bouncer during the day. I guess they aren't busy enough. The bartender suggested free lap dances for me!!! I was like sure! They said they were normally $25. I never got one somehow they got out of it :(. I didn't know they were still allowed to do dances. One of the ladies did say that there was a rumor that they may go totally nude. I'd love to see Sky naked! I heard they they where nude years ago but I have always seen them in bikinis.

They were nude when I used to go there but that was about 20 years ago. I was disappointed when I moved back to the area and found out that they weren't nude anymore. Not much fun going to a strip bar if they don't strip.

I'm going to be taking a lady friend of mine to one of the N. KY strip clubs soon and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which one they feel is the best one? I would say in terms of atmosphere, dancer attractiveness, possibly ability to touch dancers butts, etc.

I recently visited this club for the 2nd time and I have to say that it's not offering much. The dancers rarely if ever approach the clients or even say Hi...the energy on stage is lacking for most of the dancers, with the exception of 1-2 girls (one that has a lot of tatts).
They don't even come up to ask you about private/lap dances? how do they make any money? I'd say pass on this one and try one of the other ones.

Went down to Newport a few times over the holidays and managed to have a pretty decent time most nights.
Brass Bull: Sat with Chrissy, who I've mentioned before and was glad to see she's as much fun as before. She's a little blonde, late 20's, maybe 30, with a seriously-enhanced chest. On a second trip, I found a new playmate, Tracy. She's a slender brunette, early 20's.
Brass Ass: Spent some quality time with Vada, a tall blond, early 30's, nicely enhanced chest. Would recommend highly as long as she's not too wasted to function... catch her early in the evening, if possible. The only downside here was that I kept getting hit on by Angelique, an admittedly well-preserved 50-60 YO blonde... just not my thing... maybe OK for someone else into groovy grannies. No first-hand experiance, but it appeared she provided pretty decent service for the guys who did sit with her.
At both clubs, a successful evening usually requires a $55 drink + tips. Most of the girls will supply digits (and most of these actually work) once they've sat with you a time or two for some after-hours fun.

Not sure how all of you feel about driving down to the Ky Speedway area but I stopped at Racer's (exit 57 on I-71) on Wednesday night and it was without a doubt the best thing going in the northern Ky to Louisville corridor. The women were at least a 9 looks and their attitude on and off stage surpassed even that of the ladies here in Columbus at some of the upscale clubs here. Not sure what the laws are in Ky about contact, closeness and what can be shown but I can tell you that there was nothing and I mean nothing left to the imagination on any of these ladies. That all I'll say at this point since YMMV when you go there but I would not have a problem making the two and a half hour drive to visit this place on a Friday night. So grab a group of guys and head down there.
I had some time to kill a earlier this week and decided to see what this place had to offer during the mid-afternoon. Short review: save your money and your time - not worth the gas.
The earlier review about Venus is right on target. Hardly even a hello from the bartender beyond "what'll ya have". The girls were more interested in talking with themselves arguing about who was up next and what music they were going to use. Lots of running in and out of the ladies room and not even eye contact and a smile. With one exception, they were all carrying about 15lbs too much for this line of work. Not sure what their money making plan is here, expecially since the dancer to customer ratio was like 3 to 1. One beer and out.
Asked the other guy who was there on my way out if he was working there, waiting or what. Said he was just killin' time being the invisible man - lol. By the time I drove past 5th on my way up to OTR, I saw him walking down the street too so I guess it's fair to say Club Venus is "really" slow during the day.
I'll give it another shot on nights, particularly if the infamous CJ is workin', but I'll kill time in the afternoon at BW3s from now on.

Agree with Dweezil re: Club venus. Day shift is almost a complete waste of time. Even if you can get some attention, you probably won't want it anyway. Nights are a bit better, although in-house fun is limited. Have had a little luck getting numbers for outside-the-club "dates".
Much better luck with the in-club experience at the Brass Bull lately. Chrissy (small, top-heavy blonde) is back and is a fun as ever. Also sat with another blonde last weekend calling herself Tammy. Pretty good time as well. Expect to spend 0. 5 for a drink plus tip.

Any review for Playpen?I went to Playpen about 6 months ago to check it out. Only saw one girl that was above a 6 and she didn't seem interested in any of the males in the club. The one girl that did approach was about 50 lbs too heavy and wore so much perfume that I couldn't breath.

I stopped by Howard's Sly Fox over the weekend and was disappointed. I had not been there for a long time and it used to be a strip bar. Now it is a bar that charges you the same high prices just for a girl to talk to you. Only you don't get to see any dancing or stripping.
Any reviews on Viva La Fox day shift?

I had some time to kill yesterday so I stopped in Brass Ass.
bout 6 girls working, only 2 of which I would touch. I got a .5 dollar "booth" session from a mid 20's blonde. She provided a handshake for a small tip. As others have mentioned it seems like you could easily get some digits for after hours actions but I didn't pursue.
I would not highly recomend this club, but if you are bored it might be worth stopping in.

Stopped in there for the night shift and it was a little better. At least some of the girls were up to a 6 or 7. They also do a lot of flashing on stage. Like JohnnyDoe said, a drink will run you .55 + tip, and an extra .4 to the girl will get you a hand shake. If you get a number, expect it to run 1.75 or more.
They have this little area that they call the VIP Lounge. They want 3.3 + .6 tip minimum and the best you can get is a hand shake, but they leave you and the girl there for 90 minutes. Not a deal by a long shot. You might as well get an escort, and most of them look better!

I was in the area on business and saw it after going down the wrong street, and my buddy said it was a strip club. I think it's down from the Brass Ass or Bull. Anyways, any word on that. I searched for anything this year, and didnt' find any comments on it.

No, ".55" would be .55 x $100 = $55 (55% of 100).
For your expectations break it down into two things:
[1] low expectations for finding any "lookers" (the place is a skanky jack shack composed of grandmothers mostly although you MIGHT find something younger on occasion) and
[2] high expectations for a $55 "handshake" (and don't let the dancers talk you into tipping them above and beyond the $55!)
Remember, you can park in the alley just south of the building (it is designated as parking for the Brass Ass).

Secrets is not and never was a strip club. It is just a plain bar with six pool tables and a dart board. The only strip clubs left in Newport are the Brass Ass and the Brass Bull down town, and the Playpen out Route 9. If anybody knows of anymore, please feel free to add to the list.

I think I'll stop in just to see if they have changed at all and I'll be sure to post whatever I find. Well, the Brass Ass is still as skanky as ever. They painted the walls red and put in a new back part of the stage. Oh yeah, they also replaced the carpet, probably for the first time in 30 years. The grandma is still there but they had a fresh new bunch of younger girls. I felt a little out of place because it seems to have turned into an African American hangout. I think that I was one of only two white guys in there.
When I walked in, there were so many guys and girls standing around the bar that you could not get a seat there, so I sat at a table. The music was going and there was a girl on stage but she was engaged in a conversation with a guy and did not dance the entire song. Before I saw a waitress, there was a girl asking me for a dollar for the jukebox. The waitress brought me a beer and I sat there bored to death. Nearly all of the girls were hitting on the African American males except for the grandma who was sitting in a booth with the other white guy in the place. It looked like he was having a really good time, maybe I'll have to give her a try if she lives long enough for me to visit again. Finally the first song ended and another girl got up and actually danced. She pulled out her breasts for guys tipping her. The next girl also got up and danced, and she pulled out her tits, even without the tips. I decided to leave after that, mainly because I was getting hounded for dollars for the jukebox. Pretty much just the same place, and a wasted 20 minutes of my life.

Yeah, they remodeled a couple years back. I always thought they should have sent the old carpet to the human genome project. Gotta be a pretty decent assortment of DNA there.
The grandma you refer to (Angelique is her name, I think) provides a pretty decent oral experience. Would recommend if it wasn't so damned expensive in there. Gotta be a slow night too.
Last time I was in, noticed one of my faves from way back (Vada... very tall, enhanced, blonde) had lost a buttload of weight and was looking like she was back on the nose candy, or worse... looking kind of rough these days.
As mentioned by others, I noted the higher concentration of black dancers than usual. Not necessarily a bad thing, but they tended to stick to the black clientele. A couple were pretty hot. Might have sampled if the opportunity had presented itself.
Will stick with my usual non-dancer providers for now. Nothing new to see in Newport for now, I guess.

A buddy of mine said that the Brass Ass made a few more changes so I thought I would TOFTT and check it out again. Well, went in Friday night around 9:00 and was hit with a $5.00 cover. I paid it and walked up the hall. They must have had a busy day shift because the place was filled with smoke. They have gotten new chairs, nice comfortable easy chairs to be exact. They don't roll so but they do rotate so it is not too hard to get in and out of them. The booths have been re-upholstered too. They have got a bunch of cute spinners in there now. They also have one chunky mixer for the guys that like them thick. She appears to be freindly as I saw her checking a mark's tonsils with her tongue and later she was giving him a hand shake. The older lady (her name is Angelique) seemed to have a pretty good following too. There was one rather exotic looking lady called Sasha. She had huge tits but a voice that I thought was kind of annoying. She also seemed a little older and rather excentric. All in all though, I had a pretty good time. The only down sides were the cover charge and smelling like a heavy smoker after I left.

I checked out Club Venus recently from about 5pm-8pm. Most were not strip club material IMO. There was a blonde that looked to be 40+ and a bigger gut than me. She was very pushy and even yelled at one guy that the only way they made money was from tips and then walked off the stage. Two brunettes who were not lightweights either. Both did have very attractive faces. Then there was another brunette that was very nice with 36Ds. I bought her a drink and she was all over me. She pulled her top up and let me check out her assets. Then she unzipped my pants and reached in, but didn't actually touch the little guy. I think more could have been had but the private dance area was very small and could easily be seen by passers by. Then there was one very hot blonde and one extremely hot black haired dancer. Both were what you would expect to see in a strip club. Beautiful girls with great bodies. The black hair girl was probably 32C/D and the blonde was a nice 34D. Overall an ok time. They really seem to push buying drinks for the girls, otherwise they don't pay attention to you.

Around the corner on Scott, Liberty was more to my liking with 2-song laps for $23, more privacy, less pushy for drinks, and at least two ladies better looking than anything I saw in Venus.
Was disappointed at Brass Ass and Bull. Neither was up to par with my home clubs in Jax.

What they have always done at Liberty's is get as many drinks out of you as possible usually after 2 they try to sell you on a bottle in the VIP area once there YMMV however I have had full service there in every way possible but, 1) they knew me very well by that time. 2) There was no one watching that close, when the bar manager was there sometimes they would check the area every 10 minutes and keep a clock on the girl with you so she doesnt spend too much time with you without getting another bottle. Like most of these places its all about the money.

I was at Club Venus a couple of weeks ago during the late afternoon. Only a couple of guys in there at that time. Bought a $58 booth with a young lady who shall remain nameless for now. She was maybe 29 and had a nice, slightly plump body. Felt me up real nice and let me return the favor. I asked her straight out how much for a HJ and was told I could "upgrade" to the VIP area for a total of, as I recall, $110. OK, I was horny and had a pocket full of $$$, so I went for it. No privacy and I was never able to quite get there, but it wasn't for lack of trying by the young lady. I asked her if she saw guys outside of the club, and she replied that it might be possible, but only once she knew the guy well enough to be sure it was safe. I gave her a way to check on me and told her I come back in a week or so after she had had time to check me out.
So I return in a couple of weeks and pay for, as I recall, a $38 drink in a booth. We talk for a while and she said she had checked me out and knew I would be safe. We negotiated a price for a half hour session at her apartment. It would be during the day when her two kids would be in school. I asked her about the possibility of a boyfriend showing up during our session and she assured me that she had no boyfriends and that it would be entirely safe. During the two conversations I had with her, I read her as pretty decent and honest.
She gave me what she implied was her home phone number so that I could call a day ahead of time to set up an appointment. Later that night I Googled the number only to discover that it was the business phone number for the Club Venus! Now maybe she had just given me that number by mistake, since she might have often given out that number in the past for one reason or another. Still, I was immediately distrustful at that point.
The next day, just to be sure that I could find the apartment complex where she told me she lived, I drive over to Covington. I find the apartment complex and by a stroke of luck (or bad luck for her) I see her in the parking lot putting something into a car. The only problem was that I also saw a guy carrying some trash out of the car to put it in the dumpster. I roll down my window and she recognizes me. I tell her that the phone number she gave me the night before was not her home number but the number for the Club Venus. Well, she looks at me and glances at the guy coming back to the car and says, "I can't talk right now." Not wanting an unpleasant confrontation with the guy, I exit the scene.
So either the guy is a boyfriend, which seemed likely, and she lied about not having a boyfriend, or the guy is a "client," and she lied about not having other clients.
I wrote her a brief letter and sent it to the Club Venus. I told her that the events I described above had led me to distrust her. I gave her an email address so that she could get in touch with me if she wanted. Right now I think it is extremely unlikely that she could say anything that would lead me to set up a meeting with her, but I did enjoy her company and am not ready to totally rule out something working out.
I plan to post if I hear from her. Just making this post for informational value to those of you who might be planning to visit the Club Venus.

I have not been to Liberty's for several years, but it was usually a good time when I did go there. I received numerous hand shakes, 2 BBBJs and FS once. The hand shakes and BBBJs were on $58.00 Bottles. The FS was on a $58.00 Bottle plus $140. What can I say, I was young and dumb then. I haven't been there since they put in the VIP so I guess I'll have to check it out again.
The BA and BB can be a lot of fun if you know Mina, the owner. It is pretty expensive though unless you get to know the girls, and that can get expensive too. There were BBBJs available at the Bull for a long time, but that ended several years ago when the owner cracked down on it due to pressure from LE. Now, if you get the right girl on a slow night, you stand a good chance of getting some action.
Came through N. Kentucky and decided to see what all the fuss is about. After two more beers, ($3, a decent deal for a SC) was approached by Kat or Katie (she said both). She is a convicted felon previously put away on cocaine dealing charges. She looked a little too worn in the face for me so I passed in her too. The rest of the girls were huddled around a table giggling to themselves, guess they didn't want to work. On the stage I noticed that there was no real stripping, as panties stayed on and tops didn't really ever come off, just pulled up or down to expose nipples. Not really my bag.
Cruised by Liberty's and quickly decided it looked to ghetto for me. Found the Playpen on my GPS and headed that way. Sat inside and talked to Christine, although be warned the presence of a female costs you an $18 "drink" for them and when they finish, they move on. I didn't really dig the whole "buying a drink" scheme. Must be a way around some gay law. Christine, who was quite attractive, did offer a lap dance or VIP but I passed as I didn't feel like N. KY clubs were much of a value. I could get what I want for much less money where I was headed.
Any thoughts on this particular club?

Been a few times. Expensive lap dances ($35), but decent contact. Got two of the dancers to meet back at Belterra, but what a waste that was. They pretty much just wanted more money and to gamble with our chips with no repay. Sad part is, I had the waitress ready and willing to leave with me before I thought "hey, two strippers is better than one waitress! " wrong. Complimented and worked the waitress all night and she was sexy, fit, and turns out, a grandmother at age 39! LOL! She was married, but was all about it, too bad I thought with the wrong head. All in all, a fun time. As fun as any place near Cincy.

Spent too much on a lap dance (35? ) but I guess it was good enough that she lured me back to a VIP area and that cost me an extra Benjamin. Super hot girl with decent moves but limited substance considering the 1.35 that I had just dished out. In my experience there arev no happy endings at the Racers VIP. In any event I was semi-drunk and mezmorized with this lass. She states that when she gets off that we can go over to the Indiana casinos and hang out all night. Thought this would be a real date and a boatload of free fun. Of course she just wanted my money to gamble and I ended up driving back to Cincy with my tail between my legs. So fellas. Don't let these ladies dupe you into a trip to the casino.
All in all I was impressed with the line-up at Racers. Certainly the best around the Cincy area but you will spend alot and get little in return.
Had a much better time at the Brass Bull and Ass on two occasions. The quality is no match compared to Racers but I spent much less than at Racers and walked away happy both times.
So if you want to get "paid" you better stick to the Newport dives. If you want some eye candy and a fantasy fuck then hit Racers.
BTW. I'm back visiting the Tri State area in a few months and need some updates reagrding the Bull and Ass. It seems that the quality has been upgraded. Any other tips for real action is greatly appreciated.
And lastly. If you really want the best in Pay for Play. Treat yourself to a trip to Berlin (or almost anywhere in Germany). Absolutely stunning girls (a 19 year Hungarian/Pole/Rumanian will beat out 99.9% of the ladies in the midwest). And about a third the cost all under one roof. And boys it's all legal. Every man should experience a German FKK at least once in their life.

I was in BA this evening at shift change(8:00 - 8:30PM). The day shift girls are hungry. I was offered happy endings by three different day shift girls if I just bought them a .55, and these were 7 or 8 girls when I was sober. Based on these reports, I may move my hotel closer to Newport and visit the BA. Thanks for the info.

All in all I was impressed with the line-up at Racers. Certainly the best around the Cincy area but you will spend alot and get little in return.
Had a much better time at the Brass Bull and Ass on two occasions. The quality is no match compared to Racers but I spent much less than at Racers and walked away happy both times.
So if you want to get "paid" you better stick to the Newport dives. If you want some eye candy and a fantasy fuck then hit Racers.
BTW. I'm back visiting the Tri State area in a few months and need some updates reagrding the Bull and Ass. It seems that the quality has been upgraded. Any other tips for real action is greatly appreciated.
And lastly. If you really want the best in Pay for Play. Treat yourself to a trip to Berlin (or almost anywhere in Germany). Absolutely stunning girls (a 19 year Hungarian/Pole/Rumanian will beat out 99.9% of the ladies in the midwest). And about a third the cost all under one roof. And boys it's all legal. Every man should experience a German FKK at least once in their life.

Stopped in around 3:30 PM when there were only a couple of guys there and plenty of girls. The .55 drink came with 20+ minutes of rubbing and groping from a friendly girl who was not too shy to pull down her top to expose some nice breasts. It depends upon the "extras". HJ is about all you would get away with at the Brass Ass. Maybe a little more at the Brass Bull. I don't know anymore about Liberty's in Covington, haven't been there for a long time. Venus is a possibility except that most guys don't like the non-private location of the VIP. A couple of other local clubs may be better but I'm not sure about them either. Sorry I couldn't help more but there are other guys who can fill in the blanks.

The Brasses are dying since the bust. The girls on stage have to keep everything covered and will not allow touching. There is absolutely no playing going on in the booths or in the VIP. The waitresses and bar tenders are watching the girls like hawks and stopping by the booths too often for anything to happen. Its great if all that you want to do is spend .55 to talk to a girl. Now the only time your cock is going to out of your pants is in the restroom.
Management has gotten tougher on the girls too. None of the girls are allowed to work off the books now. And if you feel generous and want to tip one of the girls for being a nice talker, sneak it to her. If it is over a .05 and the waitresses or bartender sees it, they make the girl turn it over so that 20% can be put in the bartender's tip jar, and 50% of what is left can go to the owner. So if you tip .10, .02 goes in the tip jar, .04 goes to the owner, and .04 goes to the girl. Pretty fucked up situation, isn't it.?
With policies like this and a reduced volume of customers, the good looking girls are going to leave and only the skanks will be left again.

The owner is currently scared shitless!!! I haven't been to the Bull since the raid, but the BA is boring. They removed all of the booths where the good stuff was going on. In their place, they took the seats and backed them up against the wall so you have a little armless love seat, and then put tables next to them. While you are seated in them, you are completely exposed so nothing goes on there. No extras in the club. If any of the girls are found out to be doing carry out, they are fired.
The girls must remain completely covered now, no flashing of any kind. If you go in there and drop $55, all that you will get is conversation. For $330, you can go into the VIP area which is more private but the waitresses make very frequent checks to make sure that nothing is happening. All in all, it would be better to save your money or make the trip to the Dayton(Ohio) area.

I remember the Brass Ass years about 15 years ago. If you knew some of the girls after while you could go to some after hours parties at someones house if you are invited and it was a great time. I always wonder if that tradition just died out or not.

Havent had any luck with NP or CVG, as of late. Brass Ass seems to be turning into a lap dance club, tired of the same three at Bull. Police pres in CVG has been fairly hardcore from my understanding. But this info is 2-3 weeks old so.

Things have really changed, and not for the better. You may remember that they were busted around Thanksgiving of last year. The owner immediately cleaned the place up. The booths are gone, replaced by booth benches backed up against the wall with tables beside them. No privacyto be with the girl, everything out in the open. The girls have started to give very quick flashes but no nudity like there was before. No handshakes, except for Vada who has no qualms about performing out in the open. Vada is even available for BBBJ's if you don't mind having it done where the world can see, and only on Thursday and Friday nights when the easy crew is working. If Anna is waitressing, forget getting anything at all. They have boarded up the entrance to the VIP area so it is no longer an option. The latest rumor is that the owner is getting ready to sell the BA and BB. No new owner would be able to get a liquor license if they are going to feature dancing, so if it is sold, goodbye to another tradition.
Looks like Covington bars have changed as well.

I was in Newport last night and droped into the BA out of curiosity. I thought it would have been out of business by now. There is still no privacy, and they changed the VIP. They removed the solid walls and put up porch railings, so anyone can see anything that might be going on in there. They do have some good looking girls working there now, and they are starting to give very breif flashes for tips. They did move tables in front of the benches along the side wall but it is still a far cry from the booths that they used to have. I guess that the longer the owner can keep LE off her back, the better it might get.
Well I stopped in the Brass Ass and Bull recently to check out the scene and I was sorely disappointed in the whole experience. I am relatively new to the area and I am still learning, but from what I have seen so far the clubs are nothing to write home about. The only thing that kept it from being a total waste was a quick tug job from an amazon blonde named Vada at the bar. She gave digits but she isn't my type (I like little petite spinners, especially if they are young brunettes). Seemed reasonably priced though. Seniors are free to have them if you want.
I have been told to check out the place over by Hollywood casino. Maybe that will be better.

Thanks!There was a time when Racers was the best club in Kentucky. Some nights this place was legendary. Then they got busted (for taking too much off), they started wearing more clothes, the dance prices went up, the mileage went down, the customers stopped coming, and then the dancers stopped showing up. I will stop by too, as I used to make this a regular stop during my drives between Louisville and Cincy. I haven't been in years however. Even if its half as good as it once was, it would be worth a stop.

We opted for a few couples dances, anywhere from $40/$50 for 2 songs. Dances were very good with plenty of action and all the girls were very nice and sociable. One dancer, a nice slender brunette whos name escapes me actually discovered which side little T was on and proceeded to try and make me squirm in front of my lady- all in good fun. Was told VIP was 150 which is a little pricey for my taste. All in all a good experience and the owners were nice to chat with and are definitely striving to give their customers a great time with good clean fun, which both of us had.

I was on a field trip for work and ended up on route nine south of Covington Kentucky I stopped at the playpen.
This is a hole in the wall and I had hoped for some real fun.
Instead the girls are average or below and are nothing more than hustlers.
Maybe I just look like I fell off the turnip Wagon.

It's been over a year since anyone had anything to say about strip clubs in Northern Ky. So I thought I make the rounds and provide this report.
Had a night to myself on Friday and so went to a few clubs of interest. Actually as far as I know there are only about 3 strip clubs left in Northern Ky.
1) The Brass Bull (Newport).
It was $10 to get into this fine establishment. It was a bit crowded but I'm not sure why. Most of the girls were overweight. Dancers were divided about equally between white and black. Stayed around for 1 drink. Sat at the bar and no one approached me. I will (with reluctance) admit that I was (apparently) the second older guest in the club. So after 1 drink I hopped across the street to:

The good news: Cover charge was only 1/2 of the Bull. $5. The Bad news was that there were only about 8 dancers in the club, again about evenly divided between black and white dancers. 2 or 3 were good looking and I bought 1 ($20) drink for one of the best looking dancers. There was minimal physical contact with her, on the other hand we had a nice conversation. Don't remember her name but she was from West Virginia. A more pleasant experience but not oiutstanding. The final?
3) Playpen (Wilder):
I didn't even go into this place so I can't report on the quality of the dancers, but I can say that by strip club standards this is a highly lit place. I've been in here several times and was treated reasonably well, but have never bought drinks for any dancer. It seems like a club that is focused on separating you from your money without any "rewards" to you. The reason I didn't go in this club was their extremely high cover charge. $15 just to walk in the door. IMHO charging this kind of cover charge would quickly put this club out of business, particularly given the complete lack of "extras".
