In Ft. Lauderdale area along Federal Highway from Davie Boulevard south to Highway 84 on Friday April 7 between the hours of 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM there were three definite WSW and one possible WSW. This area seemed to be dried up for quite a long time, so it was unusual to see such activity.

You should have driven a good distance from where you picked up the blond. It's just to easy for the cops to follow you. The other problem is that the cops will often circle the area where the SW's are.

After an early end to a business meeting in the area, I decided to cruise the beach south of sunrise down to las olas.
To my surprise, 2 blonds were street walking that were NOT crack monsters.
They were happy to get in, but then the bad news started. They asked for
$300, each! One was about 22 from North carolina who had some ad posted somewhere on the web, as her cell phone kept going off every other minute.

More info would be helpful; time, hotel, location, how did they try to sting you (was it the usual in that the Under Cover doesn't get into your car and tries to get you to agree and then tells one to pull up and park where they grap u)
After a near drought of several months things are SLIGHTLY picking up again in Ft lauderdale and hlwd/dania strolls. A lot of girls are getting out of jail now (it seems like for several months they were almost all in jail). They are petrified, and spending less time on the street. Hwd PD and FLPD are out of control.

ThanksYou won't find much in Boca. Take Dixie Hwy South through pompano beach. Main inter sections are Hillsboro, 10th St, then Sample then copans, then Atlantic. Most SW work from Copans to MLK/Hammondville? (which is the light is before Atlantic) but you may find a stray anywhere from 10th on up. When you get to MLK take a right (west) and there might be some action. You can then go West all the way to Powerline go Left (South) to Atlantic another left (west), a right just past popeyes (I forget the street name) and finally a right back onto MLK/Hammondville taking it back east to Dixie. That is the pompano route. Also look up the Pompano thread for some other info

The ft. lauderdale police are notorious for there anti prostitution forces.
You will find that most escort agency's and independents don't keep a motel or place in ft. lauderdale because if they caught it is much more severe than say Sunrise or Tamarac.
For sw'ers you have to go south to Dania/Hollywood -US1---not too far from the 17th st. scene if your already in the area.
Best bet is pompano beach on Dixie hwy and up on MLK. That is the only place you will regularly see sw'ers in this age of craigslist and stripclubs.
Everywhere else is hit and miss, because last thursday I saw three sw'ers around 17th street and US1. But I never cared for that scene, due to price and the notels are busy with snowbirds and won't rent rooms right now.
If you can take it, go to Sistrunk Corridor for bsw action and there is a convienent Pink House type place to go-- a few actually.

I am from the Philly area and quite familiar with the strolls there, but I recently made a business trip to Boca and asked this forum for some advice on the SW action in the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano area. I received some very helpful and detailed advice on the promise that I would share some information and pictures, if I could get them (and did I ever!).

I have been doing this for over 20 yrs. you need to check and recheck any where they want to take you, Parking spot, Room, ect.
They are doing what they can to make the most money for the smallest effort. They will rob, steel, and try to catch you off gaurd. I had on try to take a sunpass. A good trick is to keep a old wallet above the visor they will grab and run.
And if she wont get out of the car. stop the car in a dark area, put it in park the do what you have to to shove the ***** out. always no violence.

I have seen three different times between 79th and 17th on biscayne a sw'er being thrown or pushed out of a moving car.

Usually that works. One time I picked up a hua and she was alot uglier up close. I told her that I didn't want to do the deal and she insisted on her $20 anyway. Pretty insistent b1tch. The drama queens give themselves away very quickly. Usually they get in and start changing the stereo. Then they start barking orders. Insisting that I go to THEIR SPOT. You know the type. The ones that tell you to speed up, slow down, put on your blinker, turn here, turn there.

Interesting problem.If it should happen again just tell her you live in Stuart WHICH IS 90 MINUTES AWAY and you have no problem with her taking a ride with you but she will have to find her way home and start heading toward I95. Whatever working girl you have will then ask to get out. Trust me on this as it has worked in the past 100% without handing over any money.

I'm going to be visiting Fort Lauderdale for a week in October and will be staying around North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. I don't generally rent a car but I'm open to it. A friend and I have been gettign SW action in broward lately. In pompano on dixie between sample and atlantic. Can almost always find one or more between 12:30 and 3am. Some a little rough for wear but some defenite diamonds in the ruff. BBBJTC usually runs $20 and full serv $40. We have also had intermittent luck in hollywood on federal between sheridan and johnson. But beware I always hear abotu cop stings in that area.

Well flew in around 7am and rented a car. DO NOT RENT THROUGH DOLLAR CAR RENTALS! I got into an arguement with the counter guy and if I wasn't in a hurry I would have canceled and went with a different company. He was a smart ass and dollar checks driving history, which I have no issues and like all other companies you can bring the tank back on full but dollar goes one step further and you have to bring a gas reciept back showing you filled up within a 10 mile radius. I also go a bright yellow car which sticks out like a sore thumb mongering.
Well I needed to release some stress and had a couple hours to sightsee before my meeting so I decided to go south on us1 and check out the stroll. Its around 8am now and I'm thinking its not a good time to sightC. I see a few ladies walking the streets but they all are walking their dogs. I make it to hallendale and turn around and see a possible just south of the circle and wasn't worth picking up if she was one. I am now north of the circle and right by the first gas station I see Katie. I recognised her from the pics on here. I know some posts are negative, but some are ok so I decided to give her a chance. Streetwalkers have returned to the city's southern gateway, and police are responding to residents' pressure to clamp down on the sex workers.

Dressed in Daisy Duke shorts and a tight white shirt, the undercover female officer was hanging out on a street corner along Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale Friday night when a car pulled up and the driver struck up a conversation.
'What do you want to do? ' she asks. Cutting through the small talk, she adds: 'Don't waste my time, man. I've been out here all night and I really just want to go home at the end of my shift. I have a room right here. '
Police cameras were rolling as the pair came to terms on a deal — $20 for a sex act. Now charged with soliciting prostitution, the man faces 60 days in jail and a $500 fine if convicted.
Residents and businesses had complained that the world's oldest profession was on the rise along Federal Highway south of downtown. The busy road had once been notorious for prostitutes working the sidewalks in search of clients, and neighborhood activists have been fearful of a revival.
Now, Fort Lauderdale police officers are cracking down.
An undercover sting last weekend resulted in solicitation charges against eight men. They ranged in age from 26 to 54 and included one guy on a bicycle. Some were graphic about what they were seeking, while others nervously said they simply were looking for sex.
'We're the southern gateway to the city, the first impression of people coming from airport, so the stakes are critical, ' said Dwight Ledbetter of the Neptune Group, a Federal Highway business catering to the maritime industry. 'The city needs to realize it is a problem that will never fully go away and that they have to treat it with persistent operations. '
Concerns rose in the Poinciana Park neighborhood a month ago when two resident activists were having dinner at a barbecue restaurant after a neighborhood meeting. During their meal, they saw a half-dozen women walking Federal. The activists said they had the distinct impression that these weren't women walking home from a 9-to-5 job or taking an evening stroll.
As they raised questions with neighbors, more chimed in about a growing problem. They challenged the police department over whether it was doing enough to discourage the prostitutes.
They say the prostitution scares away customers. They also say it brings other crime — drug-dealing and burglary — to their neighborhood.
'It's fine for a while, and then it becomes a nightmare again of people out here selling themselves, ' said Ray Dettman, president of the Poinciana Park Civic Association.
The police department has been averaging between 171 and 334 prostitution-related arrests a year over the past five years. This year has been slower, with just 66 arrests since January.
Officers say they often see the problem re-emerge in old haunts. They say there business is still being done on the street despite the escort ads in weekly newspapers and online hookup services.
'Most people don't think of prostitution as a serious crime, a victimless crime, but people are out there picking up diseases and taking them home to their family, ' said Detective Travis Mandell, a police department spokesman. 'A lot of people don't understand the repercussions. There's violence. And for a community, it's a quality-of-life issue. '
The agency's Street Crimes Unit organized the undercover sting using about a dozen officers, including two undercover female officers who posed as prostitutes Friday night. The female officers' conversations were recorded by officers nearby. Once arrests were made, the men were hauled off to the jail and their cars were impounded.
While the one undercover agent was in short jean shorts, the other wore spandex, sported a New York Yankees baseball cap and sucked on a lollipop in the hope of drawing out men seeking to pay for sex.
'Whatcha looking to do? ' the officer in short shorts asks one driver. His reply: 'Horny. ' She then says, 'How much horny? What you want to do? ' When they agree on $30 for sex, she tells him, 'I speak the language of love. ' Soon, he's in handcuffs.
One guy escaped arrest as he repeatedly suggested to the officer in the Yankees' cap that he 'wanted to go for a ride and talk' and wouldn't commit to more. 'You got money? What do you want to do? ' she asks as she unsuccessfully tries to have him commit to the details of money-for-sex.
The undercover officers often tried to put drivers at ease that it wasn't a sting — first challenging the driver to prove he was not a cop.
'Are you the police? How do I know you ain't police? ' one of the undercover cops asks a driver. 'I know my rights. You got to tell me if you are. Otherwise it's, uh. I don't remember the name for it. ' To which, the driver replied, 'Entrapment, ' and the deal-making ensued.
Area residents said the police must keep up the pressure.
'I have no confidence that in three months we won't see the problem back again, ' Dettman said. 'Unfortunately, there are people out there willing to pay. '

1. There is no such thing as a safe place. If you can find it LEOs will as well. Just follow your instinct.
2. Trust your big head. One of my old bosses told me "you need a sale; but do you need this sale?" In mongering terms you need a SW; but do you need this SW?
3. Can't answer than one.
4. Been our of SoFla for a couple of years but Hollywood north of the circle on US1, sometimes south to the county line;
Ft Lauderdale from 24th (route 84) to the tunnel. Pay particular attention to the west side streets and the notels just below the Walgreen. Of course, LEO knows about them as well. See #1.
4a. Pompano Beach has two areas 1st is Dixie from Sample to Atlantic and then 31st Ave from Atlantic to MLK; but stay south oin the early morning and MLK as both BSO and FHP patrol MLK around the turnpike. Best time is when the turnpike toll collectors change shifts in the early morning and late night.

Its late, I'm bored and I it looks like the posting has really slowed down so.
This happened abotu a year ago,
One night I was heading back to my house to hang out with a buddy who happens to be a fellow monger. Iwe hadn't been hunting that night but out a a bar. I was headed north on 441 just passed peters road when I see this very cute young blond walking along. At first I think nothing of it because she looks too young and cute to be of the SW variety. Then I see her cross the street and head back in the direction she just came from."hmmm." I said to myself. I went a few blocks up and turned around. I cought up with her again and asked if she wanted to party. She seemed hesitant at first then got in. She was every bit as cute as she looked she had to have been 19 at the most. Probably more like 17. She seemed very nervous (scared nervous not drug sketchy). We found a nice secluded spot a few blocks away and her and my buddy get in the back seat. She had agreed on $20 each for the ever popular mouth hug. All her bragging abotu how turned on she got had got me horny as hell and now she passed out cold. I was so pissed off about the whole thing I left and went drivign around. Then I saw the cute blonde in the same neighborhood again. I swooped her up and she directed me to a small parkign lot behind a a doctors office. She told me she found this spot all byherself and actually seemed proud of it. The weird thing is I have never seen ANY street walkers in that area before or since. So I wonder why she chose that area to patroll. So thats my story of the cutie that got away (withotu being fucked ).

I was rolling up my window as she walked away. I drove the block and when I passed again there was a big black SUV where I had been and a large guy standing outside talking to her.
So make of that what you will. I'm just glad I remembered the Rules.
3 WSW hanging out on Federal Hwy between SE17th St & SR 84 several nights in the last week: a brunette named Rachel, a brunette named Deanna whom I've also seen around Sunrise and Andrews and a heavier blonde.
