The press conference is being conducted to announce an initiative between GPD and the Eighth Judicial State Attorney’s Office designed to combat the street level prostitution problem in the City of Gainesville.
Present for this event will be Chief of Police Norman Botsford, State Attorney Bill Cervone, Alachua County Health Department Director Tom Belcoure and Loretta Golden from the Alachua County Office of Victim Services

If you really want some Hogtown action you probably should try NW 5th Avenue between 13th Street and 6th Street. After dark there are usually a number of crack hoes out there, and some don't look bad.
It is kind of funny that the Police station is right there at 6th street and 8th Avenue, but right under their limpdicks is the most goin part of town.

there are often gals on SW 6th St by the park near Depot ave or just urther north on SW 5th Ave. I see them in the afternoon till early eve. this area is also often good late at night

I'm new to the area, thought I'd contribute to what I've seen so far in Gainesville.
I checked out the main areas mentioned in previous messages. I've trolled approximately three times in all of the areas. So far, I have not seen anything on 13th street, nothing on 6th. I've seen a couple of gals on 5th, between main and 6th, on two occasions. Once on this past tuesday, one bsw and one wsw walking together, gave me the look, but I passed, trying to check out the scene. On Wednesday, I was trolling the same areas, but I saw many tow trucks in the area, so I did one round and left, thinking there might have been a sting going on (i saw at least 5 tow trucks in less than 5 minutes).
Anyway, I just moved here from Chicago, doesn't seem like there's too much action here. It's not as easy as it is in Chicago (being a much smaller city), but I'm sure it can be found. I'm gonna keep trolling and I'll give everyone some more reports. Let's get this board going.

Thought i'd give you guys some more inside scoop on the scene:
Trader's South
Went to Trader's this past Friday night. There were 5 girls working there. This club is pretty much a nude club, but does serve alcohol (not sure how that works). Anyway, the dances on stage were okay. There were "bar dances" available for $10. The dance consisted of you sitting at a bar-like table, while she danced nude in front of you. No touching, no nothing. About 3 of the girls were very pretty, about 7-8s. The other two maybe a 5-6. Don't remember any of the names. The club is pretty dead, i was talking to one of the girls and she said that there were currently only five girls working, as the owner fired the rest. Probably wouldn't come back to this club.
Cafe Risque
Stopped by Cafe Risque Friday night also. I've never seen a strip club like this before, it's like an IHOP with strippers, kinda neat. Anyway, many women working and many people there, enjoying the sights and food. The women would strip in front of the two bar-like tables, displaying their wares while people were eating. The private dances here were done in the back, in curtained-off booths. The booths had what was like a bed for the guy to lie on. You could have a private dance for 5 minutes, costing $30 or a dance for 10 minutes, costing $50. I opted for a $30 dance. In the booth, you lie down and have to put your hands behind your head. There are cameras and signs in every booth, no funny business here. Anyway, the girl will be topless with skimpy hot pants, and will grind you faving you and away from you. That's pretty much it, it was kinda fun, i gotta hard on, which i know she could feel and was trying to make it grow. Overall, nice place to go if you want some food and tits, but no funny business, totally legit. Girls range between 7-9, very nice, no hussle, laid back.
SW Scene
So after the clubs, I thought i'd check out the SW scene. Was going north on 13th by the Adult Bookstore and Trader's and saw one WSW. Drove around 16th and 6th and 5th. Nothing, totally dead. I was checking out the scene for a couple of hours, but couldn't even find the WSW I had seen on 13th anymore. I was gonna call it a night, but decided to do one more round. Going north on 13th again and saw 3 wsw's walking together. Stopped and picked up two of them. Drove to a secluded area and got an okay dual bbbj, $20 to each of them. One of them actually caught and swallowed, which was kinda nice. In the looks department, one was a 3-4, the other 5-6. Would see the latter again, but had no contact numbers.
Anyway, that's my report, if anyone has any info or questions, let me know. Still need some info on the escort and AMP scene around the area. If anyone has info, backchannel or post. Also, any other areas i shoudl check out for sw's?

I was in the neighborhood, so i thought i'd check out the scene. The times I always go is in the afternoon (same time all the time) around 12:30. I usually drive until 1:00. I aint seen shit.

Magic Touch has been in business since 2000 and I visited 5-6 times. Have not been there in well over a year.

About Magic Touch: I noticed someone posted some info. I called them about a year ago and the price was $100 for 30 mins, $150 for an hour. The city is building a new park on SW 6th street and probably ruined the biggest stroll. On the gainesville PD site they stopped listing addresses so no clue on where action is now.

A mother and daughter from northwest Gainesville were arrested Wednesday night after police determined that they were operating a prostitution business from their home.
And police seized records containing the names of hundreds of men who were clients of the business - and said they planned to talk to them.
The mother, Barbara Elizabeth Young, 49, and daughter, Jashka Barshaun Hewins, 28, are believed to have been running two escort services, Deandrea's Entertainment and A Bey-Watch Escort Service, from their home at 10946 NW 31st Place - just west of Interstate 75 - for the past few years.
Both women are charged with multiple counts of living off earnings of a prostitute, as well as racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering. Hewins is also charged with tampering with physical evidence for trying to destroy documents pertaining to the prostitution operation, police said.

I see that post about Diendra's by Tango Alpha. I know that the massage lady got busted about 2 months ago. She had an add in the paper, and you would call her up, then go to her house she would give a massage, and whatever for what you tipped. The place was called "magic touch".

Went down 13th last night, once at around 12pm, and again around 7pm, and both times near that subway on SW13 street, saw the same WSW. SHIT, leave it to an out of towner to bail you lame asses out, why don't you post? It is really, really hard for me to monger, the car is not mine (which is the biggest problem) and when I do have "access" to the car, it's hard to leave the house without my other half.
And nothing pisses me off more then when I finally get a chance to hit a spot, and there is nothing there. So I'm really looking for some sort of "massage" place in town where I can drive to and walk into a building and know there's someone inside (for cheap) I know it's probably a pipe dream in the shitty town, but I'll keep dreaming. LOL
Anyway, I'll have the car soon, so I'll go out mongering. See if there's any action down SE 5 ave towards Waldo Road.
I usually go out during daylight hours, so I can really check out if there's any LE around, and where I go is Main street and SE 4 ave, Main street and SE 5 ave, if you take 4 ave or 5 ave (either road really) east towards waldo road, you will see some walking up and down the street. Also, if you go south on 13th street between SW 16 ave and Williston road there can be some found on these streets.
These are the *main* streets, and while your driving (of course) look down every side street to see if your passing something up.

I'm going to try and post regularly. LE is very active in cleaning up the streets. SW 13th Street has been dead. There is an occasional SW or two in that little side road by Domino's Pizza. I saw a familiar WSW on 6th St. by the park but she was gone by the time I made a u-turn. Try 4th Ave. all the way from 6th St. to Waldo Road, there may be some action there. I normally post on the Jax board, but was in town for business today and was able to do alittle trolling. My first swing down main to 4th where that little park is at was uneventful. I wish my first report was good news. The local TV news covered a sting operation where eight men were arrested here in Gatortown. The police seemed to be concentrating on SW 13th St. (South US 441). There is a high end residental area nearby and the neighbors have put a lot of pressure on police and local politicians. The areas that I have seen mentioned here most often were not part of the operation. They also mentioned that they will repeat the sting every two months or so. I'm not much of a street cruiser myself as I prefer escorts, but my heart goes out to the guys who got busted. If you have any recommendations for local escorts I would appreciate a private message.

I agree with Cracker. The Duval neighborhood is scarey. It is literally on the other side of the tracks (well it was before they removed the train tracks that ran along Waldo Road). It is located east of Waldo Road on NE 8th Ave. As you travel east you will come upon Duval Elementary School.

Had a chance to hit the infamous Duval today. I live (somewhat) near there, so it wasn't to far for me.
My cruising times are usually all during the day, unless otherwise noted. So today I hit Duval at around 11am, and again at 1pm. I could see it being really sketchy at night, since I could tell it was a ghetto neighborhood during daylight.
What was hard for me to tell was who was a hooker, and who wasn't. I'm not kidding. There are a bunch of people walking around, and the 2 or 3 good looking woman I saw were dressed like hookers. (not meaning to be derogatory, but they would be wearing hotpants, tube tops, etc.) Plus, I'm white, so they would be looking at me regardless. You know usually an SW looks at you to pick you up, well I couldn't tell if they were looking at me to pick them up, or because I was white. Nevertheless there is probably some booty to be had in Duval.
Then I drove by the tried and true park on 5 ave. Nothing there. I didn't have time to hit SW 13 street, so I had to call it a day.

That happened to me once here in Miami and I put in all on the line. I drove that b*tch to the police station and when she said we would both go to jail I told her that my story was going to be:
