There's a brand new place that just opened in South Lyon, on Lafayette Street. I went over there for a walk-in appointment on Sunday and the door was locked. Called the number and a very friendly, very intentionally seductive sounding Asian lady answered and said that they were closed that day because they still were doing some finishing touches but will open the next day (Monday). She said they will be open seven days a week. It's a discreet entrance door in the back of an old house with a simple sign that says "Asian Massage" near the door. Wish I could've TOFTT that day. I'll head back over soon and report. Anyone else who has a chance, please report details.

I struck out on the SW scene so I decided to try an AMP I have not tried before. Since I was on the far east side, I cruised over to Bella Touch. Decent strip mall / parking. Walked in and was greeted by Momma I believe. She led me to a room and I paid. 80 for the hour, got undressed and laid down on the table. In Troy, Asian Health at 17 and Wattles (in strip mall with Old Detroit Burger Bar) provides excellent massage. Sadly, no extras though. Not in my experience anyway.
More in the Utica neighborhood, there's always Van Dyke spa (Van Dyke and 18.5 mile) or Sophia's (VD and 19, if they have re-opened). Both have decent massages usually and can usually get HE.
I think Day Spa on Van Dyke south of 21 is still there. I've only been there once and the providers were a bit too ancient for me to go back. Reports on that place over the years suggest that the old lady that runs the place can be a little weird, but also that the extras menu can open up a bit for the right amount of cash. Not my cup of tea though. Old weird and expensive is a bad combo IMHO.

It is located in a business complex with medical offices in the same building so offers good cover. I called to make an appointment, and the mamasan told me that I could be immediately serviced with no waiting. GREAT! Upon arrival, I discovered the business to have a professional clinical appearance, with very small, but functional treatment rooms. Mamasan collected the $60 door fee for one hour treatment, and she assigned Mia to be my therapist. In conversation, I learned that she was new there and had only been there for 1 week. Mia did an excellent traditional Chinese massage and got all of my aches and pains taken care of. Towards the end she motioned if I wanted her to continue on with the HE and I nodded. She finished up very nicely and included a full prostate exam. Excellent job and I enjoyed that there was no discussion of tip or negotiating during the process. Just transgressed smoothly from the massage to the finish. I was very happy and would repeat in a heartbeat. Paid 60/50 and Mia appeared very pleased with the tip. I would guess her weight at 145-150lbs. Hips are wide for an Asian, and she is not a spinner by any means. Her butt is firm, and she does not move away from the table, but moves toward the table for better OTC roaming. During the HE, she allowed UTC roaming, up under her blouse, and allowed me to play with her C cup natural breasts and nipples. I just got back into the gym after taking a year off. My whole body was sore so I went to get some back walking and excellent massage. The service here is excellent. Nice shower too. Felt much better quickly.Shout out to Greg for the info. This was a great stop and she actually fixed my rounded shoulders and helped sort out tight spots I didn't even know I had. I would agree with everything said. The Shiatsus in Troy on Mound and Dequindre are goos for a solid massage with a HE too. Van Dyke Spa was good massage (back walking also) didn't like the begging for more tip after we were done. Sophia's was my favorite bit not sure if they've opened back up. One of my biggest gripes with this hobby are the negotiations. I had a visit at Chinese Massage in Westland early this past week. I've been fairly regular there for a few years now. Some of the girls recognize me an don't negotiate, but lately there has been a lot of new talent and I'm getting so sick of all the tip negotiations. And they're not not starting with low numbers! As a result of all the reviews posted in the last two months or so, I recently decided to revisit the place on Wayne Rd just south of Joy Rd. Years ago I used to go there frequently. Then the talent dropped dramatically and I have focused my attention elsewhere. Anyhow, the talent seems to have returned, not only based on what I've read on this forum, but also on what I've seen as I walked in. I must say. I like it. While both massages were really good, its less service than what I'm used to but still acceptable. It's also more pricey because employees are younger, but I'm beginning to think it's worth it. I'm definitely interested in the crazy fun time one monger seems to have had, but he doesn't seem to want to share any details of who or how much. I've not had an experience anywhere near what he has described, but my experiences have been nice. That place was always hit or miss. Currently it seems like a hit, but how long will that last? Who knows.
I think there are 5 or 6 different providers there. I've only seen two a couple times. I would like to find out what others have experienced there via private message. Man. So many mixed feelings over this. M1 was kind of the standard go to place for FS. Though I had an inkling once Silver Spa was closed, M1 would either follow suit or struggle to maintain business as Uncle Sam started tightening his grip.

Really is the end of an era. I remember going there as far back as the early 90's and maybe even the late 80's. I wasn't a regular there because there were many better AMP options around Detroit in those days.

I found this.The news report indicates a "tip" was the source of the LE action. Popular opinion, which I've seen confirmed by actual LEO's, is that these places are a nuisance to LE, but too much work to bother to actually collect evidence and take action on, right up until someone lodges a complaint (otherwise known as a "tip"), whereupon LE feels more compelled to demonstrate support for the community (the complainers). This would be the reason a lot of AMP's exist in the seedy areas that they do, because their business neighbors and the rest of the surrounding area is much less likely to complain. What strip club is going to find a nearby AMP morally reprehensible? LOL!
I first went to M1 over 10 years ago, but haven't been back since moving out of the area in early 2013. It was always a little dicey considering the area and I would often park in the White Castle parking lot across Telegraph to see if I could scout out any "bums" (what Mamasan called them) near the M1 parking lot that would ask for money as customers went into the spa. I recall more than one report of guys who refused those advances finding their car keyed upon leaving. I never had any problems and always had very good service, so I'm sad to see them fall victim to some "complainer".
Regarding the Human Trafficking charges, the same zeal and enthusiasm consumed LE in the charges they lodged in the east Florida raids earlier this year that snared Robert Kraft. At the end of it all, not a single Human Trafficking charge stuck because there was no actual evidence supporting the charges (I'm assuming none of the girls cooperated with LE to confirm the allegations), although the Florida cases were heavily tainted with what appeared to be inadmissible surveillance evidence, most of which was tossed and was apparently the core of the prosecutors case (s). In any case, it sounds familiar that prosecutors come in with the most threatening charges they can dream up, and perhaps hope for a guilty plea to something less, all of which is typical negotiation strategy. I hope the accused stand firm and plead not guilty and that the girls also support the presumed truth that they are NOT, actually, victims of any kind of trafficking.
