Was chatting with a former Coliseum dj at one of my current downtown haunts. Via the current lead dj at Coli, through this guy, the curtains at Coli are coming down early December. I don't know the exact date and if that means girls need to clean up VIP activities, only that curtains will be coming down.I've heard all kinds of reports, wouldn't be suprised if they did it at the very end of the year, January is dead anyway. If you think about it, those booths have solid wooden walls on either side, taking down the curtains and lowering the lights considerably and putting in a solid cloth wall to cut everything from sight (like Penthouse did) might be in their plans. If they do take them down the VIP has to be dropped.

I've never posted here, I'm from the other side of the state, but many moons ago, after getting out of the service I worked as a bouncer at a strip club. A bit of a dive bar, and some of the pickings can be slim. Tuesday is $10 dance day, so if you want to see how she is before making more of an investment, that's a good way to do that. Their sister club, Henry VIII is pretty close by. Their $10 dance day is Monday. Both are dive bars.
Further east on Michigan Avenue is Silver Cricket, in Dearborn. That's probably a step up and if you don't like to smell like an ashtray, probably the place to be.

I've NEVER had a good session from a girl who asked for payment up front. Sometimes they ask for payment in advance, I say no, then they say ok, you can pay after. I say no thanks, I'm not in the mood, and I WALK OUT. If I was back there less than 30 seconds, I PAY NOTHING.
If it's been more than 30 seconds I pay for 1 song, $10 or $20. They'll say they've had guys not pay them. The main reason guys don't want to pay is because the service was bad, NONE of the girls with good service ask for payment in advance. The secret to ANY negotiation is don't be afraid to walk out. I don't ask for a refund for the wristband. That way the bouncer tends to be on my side. The bouncers notice which girls always whine about getting paid. If the girl does get the bouncer involved, just say you changed your mind, she had too many rules. If you are known at the club, they know you don't cum and run.

Never pay the girl in advance, NO MATTER WHAT. I've NEVER had a good session from a girl who asked for payment up front. Sometimes they ask for payment in advance, I say no, then they say ok, you can pay after. I say no thanks, I'm not in the mood, and I WALK OUT. That means lots of autoworkers still had steady paychecks. Those days are over, and also remember how many support industries are going to take a major hit once the factories shut down. Truckers, machinists, warehousers, etc all those guys will lose jobs too. Most of those people aren't going to stick around Detroit and get Walmart jobs.
My guess is that some of the cheaper, blue-collar clubs will close. The ritzier clubs will be able to stay open because of the horny doctors and dentists in the area still pulling down a nice salary, not to mention all the businessmen coming into town looking for a fancy club to hang out at.

Just to report back my bad experience at cricket on last Monday. I was there at the night shift. All girls are hot. A lot of 8's or 7's per my standard.
The problem came when the negotiation started. I talked to few girls (one mid eastern looking girl named Tiffany and one Caucasian girl named Snow and other one I didn't get the name) and they all said extras are available but I have to negotiate with them in the back room.

Would any of the Detroit area residents be willing to provide an update on the status of clubs in the city limit, where raids seem to have occurred over the past year?
I tend to visit clubs in Inkster (Flight Club, Henry VIIIN), Dearborn (Criket), Romulus (Landing Strip) and Southgate (Subi's). Unless things have changed very recently, I have not noticed any change in the private dance facilities in the Detroit suburbs (all have some privacy curtains). Is this still an accurate assessment?
But I'm seeing occasional reports of changes in private dance facilities in various clubs inside the city limits-- Penthouse, Coliseum, Player's, Legends, etc. Can any of the local strip club experts confirm the status of these clubs?? I'm wondering if the Detroit city clubs will survive without more private dance options?

Sharing an example of a recent experience. Had a date lined up at my hotel, but she canceled on me. Scrambling I went through my phone texting other options. One responded and gave her a call.
She said to make it worth her while she would need $500 (this is implied for 1 hour). I said that was to much and grudgingly offered 300 and she agreed. She called back 10 minutes later and said she needed 500, told her 300 was the max. I tell her I really usually only pay 200 max and did not like the way she was talking to me & that she needed to come over tonight for the 200 or I was deleting her number. She came over for the 200 & admitted to bring nearly broke.

You have lower budget clubs, mid value clubs like Hustler Club & Silver Cricket (which prices have been going up with the curtains coming down on eight mile) and your premium clubs like Flight Club. I visit mostly in the daytime so it might be different at night as I know the talent level and prices tend to increase. I used to enjoy flight club as there were some girls that worked there that were "veterans" to put it nicely and could be a lot of fun for a reasonable price but now FC seems to be trying to milk every penny out of you.
