As long as the photo is a decent representation of the girl, I don't mind that much. So, I agree with your general point of view here, but I just don't want to make an absolute about it.

It is best to have real pictures to work with, and we should avoid the obvious rip-offs when the photos have no resemblance at all to the provider. However, there are some legit situations when you can't get a real photo. Mike uses fake photos all the time with his girls. They cycle in and out so fast it's hard to get real photos posted. Other girls just don't like real photos of themselves plastered all over the internet. (I wouldn't!) One of the prettiest girls I've ever seen in the hobby used fake pics for privacy reasons. If someone is using a picture of someone that isn't THEM, then it's a picture of someone ELSE, who most likely did NOT give their permission for an escort to use their photo as their own!
Hobbying is one of those businesses where we, as customers, vote with our feet. Personally, I vote NYET to fake picutes EVERY TIME!
If the girl is hotter than the photo, then its a go. But if not, I'm leaving.
There was one provider I still think about to this day, she wasnt even in the game long, just a couple weeks. She was posting pics of herself facing backwards, and they werent very large either. Took a chance and was blown away by her looks and her low price. Sometimes you get lucky.

It's not uncommon for them to escort near their home base form "normal" premium pricing (like $250-300). When they travel, they almost always book through agencies, and that's when you get the comical pricing ($1000+). Vegas, too, though again, that's tourist pricing.
I'm going to make a blanket statement and say that no porn "star" is going to advertise on BP.
Obviously,"porn star" doesn't have a federal agency enforcing it's definition, so girls can rub one out in front of a webcam, declare themselves a "pornstar" and advertise on BP, but I think we all know what we really mean by "star".
I will say I paid Jade Marcella $1000 about 12+ or so years ago (when she was famous, young and hot) and she fucked the life out of me basically with no time limit (until we were just flat "done") and it was among the nastiest (in a good way) fuck sessions imaginable. So it *can* be worth it.
