There is an old saying that getting a blow job with a condom on is like eating a steak with a balloon on your tongue. I see the way the streetwalkers ply their trade on my latex sheathed penis and I wonder what the harm will be if I got the BJ the old fashioned way.

What is the final word on STDs and bare back blow jobs? Other than herpes, is there anything else that one catch from a bare back blow job?

I have heard that chlamydia and NGU can be easily transmitted from the throat to the penis. Is there any truth to that?

How about HIV and Hepatitis B? I hear that even a slightly bleeding gum from hard toothbrushing, or even a tiny cut inside the mouth can deliver a payload of virus.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Any thoughts or suggestions?I had the unfortunate honor of catching something from BJ, actually BBBJ. I went to Malaysia in March and had several sessions with locals and Filipinas. I covered up for the main event every time but got BBBJ's from all girls.

About 6 weeks after I got back I got this flu like symptom and got a big pimple right below my balls. At first I thought it was Herpes since I had no knowledge about STD's. I was freaking out. I was going to ruin my life I thought.

After reading million pages of articles on STD's I sort figured out what it was and went to a clinic to get checked out. It turns out I was right. It was Lymphogranuloma Venereum, which is common in tropical and subtropical countries. Obviously I don't know which one it was since I had 5 girls in 6 days.

According to one report it is very rare in the states, affects mostly gay men having anal sex. So I was one of those very unlucky heterosexual men that caught it from BJ. Talk about being a close call...I didn't have to get my significant other involved in this as we didn't have sex during that time. She would have literally killed me.

I got tested for syphllis and HIV also. Those came back negative. So be careful out there. I am going to be very careful and take care of myself. Everything covered including BJ's and thourough washing before and after. I may use listerine to rinse my mouth and dick as it apparently kills jerms according to some monger's report.

TO ALL OF MY FELLOW HOBBYISTS IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO READ THIS POSTING, SO THAT YOU DON'T MAKE THE SAME LIFE CHANGING MISTAKE THAT I DID.

YOU ARE WELCOME TO EMAIL ME FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

I had seen warnings about this girl Plejur Peach (Keisha) before I had become a regular of hers. I never believe anything anyone says unless I know its factual.

Over the last 3 months, I have seen her on a weekly basis. At first, Everything we did was protected until I got to know and trust her. We went to AIM and both got tested and we were both negative. From then on we did EVERYTHING bareback. She told me that this was a rare opprutunity and that the only other person that she went bareback with was her boyfriend. I was recently scrolling through CL ads and saw a posting of hers that advertised bareback BJ's. I confronted her on that fact and she had a very convincing and detailed explanation that led me to believe that it was a hook just to get the clients there and then persuaded them to use condoms.

When I first met her the only insecurity she had was her teeth. The biggest priority was getting her teeth fixed. But, over the last couple of weeks I noticed a tremendous downfall in her hygeine and she stopped going to the dentist after having several of her teeth pulled already. Her surroudings became very unsanitary. I asked her if everything was going okay and she went on and on about supposed bad postings on CL on her.

My last visit with her was Monday, May 15th. As usual, I was greeted with a hug and DFK. It was then I noticed a foul taste and odor coming from her mouth. I overlooked it and figured it was from her smoking. She fixed me a drink and we sat down to smoke our usual party favor. I noticed after a few drinks that the foul odor in her mouth was stronger than I had thought. As she got closer to me talking and laughing, I noticed her constantly licking what looked like puss coming out of a sore in her mouth. I asked her what was wrong with her mouth and she said she had constantly been biting the inside of her lip. At the time I didn't know what it really was, but being careful I decided to refrain from getting head.

Thinking with the wrong head (drunk and high) I told her that I just wanted to do greek using a condom this time. But, again my dumb ass let her talk me into doing it without one as we usually do. BIG MISTAKE! As she pulled off her pants I noticed an odor similar to the one in her mouth. She automatically said she had just had a client and had used a spermicidal condom which gives her that odor. So, we agreed upon doing it in the shower. Of course the odor was not noticable with the smell of the soap. After I popped and pulled out, I noticed a yellowish, creamy discharge. I asked her what it was and she acted surprised and I said that you should probably get that checked out. I had planned to go right away and asked her if she wanted to go with me and she said she already had a scheduled visit the following day.

I went straight to AIM in Sherman Oaks and was tested and found out the next day that I had contracted Gonorrhoea. If things weren't bad enough I was contacted Friday morning and was told that I had also contracted Type II Genital Herpes Virus. I have since tried calling her and she sends me straight to voicemail.

Well, I can't believe I am to the point where I have to ask the question. I have been at this for a year. I do have a family so when I started my one rule was to be completely safe. I have only received erotic massages with hand job finishes. Today I decided to mix it up. I asked the girl at the parlor to perform russian as I believed it would be completely safe from a std standpoint. In the heat of the moment, before she started to perform russian, she lightly used her tongue to stroke the base/middle of my penis and scrotum. She basically did it without asking. She then proceded to perform russian. I have read the risks and it appears to be minimal but of course I am freeking out. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? I did read the risks website at the bottom of this forum. Please PM me if you don't feel comfortable writing.

Thank you

Rbrown987, don't panic. It's not a big deal. As it was explained to me, the only way a STD will get into your system under the circumstances you described is if you have an open sore and she licked it or she performed a BBBJ. That is assuming she was infected with a STD to begin.
You are on the right track with the safety thing. Don't let your guard down and don't let the little head think for the big one.

Find it hard to believe got so worked up over licking scrotum and middle of penis w/ bare tongue. Hon, RELAX!

Am GLAD asked that! (thought about when posting; but, didn't have time to look up at the time) I thought it very high too! Read in HT sometime about late summer/early fall '06. k, just spent the past couple hours trying to look this up -- is the thing with stats, eh? why quantified stating, "if believe stats" ... who believes them?

[all paraphrased, direct quotes]
black Males 79.8% AIDS/HIV entire state of ala (all ages)
black Females 20.2% AIDS/HIV entire state of ala (all ages)

age 20 - 49 of BOTH sexes is 85% HIV/AIDS of black population of alabama

source: ADPH (ala dept of public health), sept 2006.

there were 358 new HIV in Madison in 2004 ... the aids action coalition currently serves 500 clients in madison county.

African-American and Hispanic women, who represent less than 25 percent of all U.S. women, account for more than 79 percent of AIDS cases in women. More specifically, African Americans make up nearly 60 percent of AIDS cases in women ... white women account for only 16.8 percent. HIV/AIDS ... is the leading cause of death among African-American women in 20-34 yr age group.

Sources: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention-Surveillance and Epidemiology, Special Data Request, November 2006.
[end paraphrased, direct quotes]

[and, no, numbers do not add up; seldom do in stats]

no, could NOT find stats on HIV/AIDS for black wimmen in Madison County.

THAT is why glad asked. sooooooo, according to this, you guys can still see black F ...

as stated previously ... we're responsible adults, so we use raincoats, eh? do that and then don't have to worry about stats, jacks.

["am a poet and don't show it" ... ok ok already ... is from some song, i think, excuse ...]

Have fun but be safe,

Update: Madison County [Alabama] Statistics

I have a friend who is a doctor and asked her about the statistics for HIV cases in Madison Co. She updated me with the following current stats:

Total cases - 558
56.8% Black
41.6% White
1.6% Other

~20% of the cases are female or roughly 112 cases. 89 are black females, 19 are white females, the remaining are other.

She told me that per cap., the hispanic population carries more STD's including HPV (#1), chlamydia, syphillis, gonorrhea, and herpes.

The major STD treated in Madison Co. is herpes. It is possible to get herpes from a BBBJ but is rare. You can get chlamydia, hepatitis A, HPV (warts), shigella, and syphillis from a BBBJ. The riskiest form of sex for STD's is anal.

Think about it the next time your little head starts thinking and you don't have a condom.

Keep it SAFE,

Developed a redness and couples of sores on my penis a month ago. Embarrassed to go to the doctor. No itching, pain, wouldn't even know it was there unless you looked at it. Any ideas? Seems by research herpes burns, etc, and last only 2-3 weeks.

Dang, hon! You're over the age of 14, aren't cha? Go to the health department then! No, doesn't sound like herpes. Sounds like syphillis, which could NOT be cleared up except w/ antibiotics and a shot in the ass of penicillin. You've GOT to get to the doctor! Or health department, one. Does NOT require an appt. Is MORE embarrassing (& idiotic to say the least) to NOT go.

Whom else have infected in the meantime? CONTACT them!

Take responsibility. Is NO big deal, 'cept by NOT goingto get it cleared up!

Syphilis has a sore at the point of infection that is often painless. The sore goes away but the disease continues in the body causeing brain and other organ damage, You have to get a test to know for sure.

Census says there are 300,000,000 people in the united states

There are 1,400,000 people infected with hiv and aids (entire population)

1/300 men and women you encounter throughout your life is infected with HIV/AIDS
1/1648 of women you encounter are infected with HIV/AIDS

Within 33 states (i don't know why they only count 33 states)
74% are males 26% are females

65% of males with hiv are transmitted through MSM (male to male)
20% is high risk heterosexual contact (unprotected sex)
the rest is uknown

Since most of the hobbyists on the board play with women i'll give female statistics

66% of hiv infected women are african american
17% white
14% hispanic
1% asian/pacific islander
<1% american indian alaska native

1/2000 chance you'll transmit HIV through female to male high risk sexual behavior (again high risk meaning unprotected sex/unprotected sex with injecting drug user)

1/200 chance you'll transmit HIV through male to male high risk contact....i don' think I need to get into further detail of what that is..

Chances or Sex workers/escorts of having HIV is very low, women with HIV in general is very low in the United States.

HIV cannot be transmitted through oral sex, saliva kills the HIV virus thus transmitting HIV through oral sex is virtually 0%.

In order for HIV to be transmitted, the infected person(s) must have a high viral load in order to infect.

HIV transmission has to happen inside the body, which is why condoms are 99% effective

HIV has to travel all the way inside the urethra, which is why it is much harder for men to obtain HIV

Symptoms are a horrible way to determine whether you have HIV or not
(HIV symptoms are very very very similar to anxiety)

*Remember it's not about how many people you have sex with, it's all about the kind of sexual behavior you engage in, you can have sex with hundreds and hundreds of women, but as long as you're PROTECTED you will not get HIV, and infection of other STD's are very low.

-For those of you that have done any high risk sexual acts, please get tested so you do not infect others, if you have NOT done any high risk sexual acts there is no need for HIV testing, please do not send me any PM's asking ridiculous questions such as..."can i get HIV throug a handjob?" answer is no, "i got a fever b/w 3-6 weeks after having PROTECTED sex with an escort, do i have HIV?" the answer is no "i got a bbbj with an escort, can i get HIV?" answer is no.

-I am not a doctor, but i know my stuff, so to keep yourself from suffering with needless anxiety, wrap it up, play safe, then you will never have to think about any kind of STD

Sincerely,

Unknown

Remember to carefully inspect your condoms before you use them... not that it's always easy to do given the fact that it is often dark when you reach for a package and tear it open, but at least try to inspect the package before you put it into you kit, or wallet, or glove box - whatever.... you wouldn't believe how stupid some people are. And it's not even that that they mean to be sometimes... just sometimes people don't take the times to think things through all the way before acting.

Case in point, look at the picture.
It might take a minute or two....

Oral sex can cause throat cancer

* 22:00 09 May 2007
* NewScientist.com news service
* Roxanne Khamsi

People who have had more than five oral-sex partners in their lifetime are 250% more likely to have throat cancer than those who do not have oral sex, a new study suggests.

The researchers believe this is because oral sex may transmit human papillomavirus (HPV), the virus implicated in the majority of cervical cancers.

The new findings should encourage people to consistently use condoms during oral sex as this could protect against HPV, the team says. Other experts say that the results provide more reason for men to receive the new HPV vaccine.

Maura Gillison at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, US, and colleagues collected blood and saliva samples from the throats of 100 patients diagnosed with cancers of the tonsils or back of the throat. The scientists also took samples from 200 healthy people for comparison.

By combining the blood and saliva samples with antibody molecules, Gillison's team could tell whether a person had ever had an HPV infection.
Cancer traps

All of the study participants provided information about their sexual history, including the number of people with whom they had engaged in oral sex.

After controlling for other risk factors for throat cancer, such as drinking and smoking, the analysis revealed that people who had prior infection with HPV were 32 times as likely to have this cancer as those with no evidence of ever having the virus. And those who tested positive for a particularly aggressive strain of the virus, called HPV-16, were 58 times more likely to have throat cancer.

By comparison, either smoking or drinking increases the risk of such cancer by about threefold.

The throat cancers analysed in the new study mostly started in the "crypts" of the throat – the grooves at the base of the tonsils. This might be because the tonsil grooves trap infectious particles, suggests Mark Stoler of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, US, who was not involved in the study.
High risk levels

The study also revealed a link between oral sex and throat cancer caused by HPV. People who had one to five oral-sex partners in their lifetime had approximately a doubled risk of throat cancer compared with those who never engaged in this activity - and those with more than five oral-sex partners had a 250% increased risk.

There was an even stronger link between oral sex and throat cancers clearly caused by HPV-16 (those tumours that tested positive for the strain). People with more than five oral sex partners had a 750% increased risk of these HPV-16-caused cancers.

"This study is important because it is putting all of the pieces together," says Gillison. "We need to add oral HPV infection to the list of risks for oral cancer," she adds.
Virus vaccine

A vaccine against several of the most aggressive strains of HPV linked to cervical cancer received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration in 2006. However the plan to vaccinate adolescent girls with this vaccine developed by Merck, called Gardasil, has received some criticism.

There have been no studies investigating whether the vaccine can also protect against throat cancer, but the new evidence linking HPV to throat cancer could lead to broader vaccination with Gardasil. "We will see a push for vaccination in men," says Stoler, who has been involved in the development of the vaccine.

Tonsil and throat cancers affect about two in every 100,000 adults in the US. The new results could promote the development of spit tests for HPV infection to help identify people at high risk for these cancers, researchers say.

Hey Folks,

There seems to be a lot of misinformation out there. I am trying to separate the real risks from the feminazi male-hating risks. So, has anyone out there had any PERSONAL experience catching an STD whilest practicing safe sex? Not, "well, my second cousin's brother's roomate once.", but have YOU caught a STD despite using proper precautions during sexual activity?

Is it considered high risk sex if while you are engaging in FS with a SW, that the condom breaks and you don't find out until you pull out after getting off?

That would be a good assumption. Ive only had that happen to me once and the girl I was with only dated select few (i.e. shuggadaddies)and actually had a good head on her shoulders. I was confident she was clean but I still got tested and luckily came away scot-free........

I recently engaged in a risky act with a provider and I want to get tested. Of course, I have to wait a couple of weeks for the tests to be effective. The problem is that I do not want to have sex w/ my SO in the interim, as obviously I do not want to expose her before I know that I'm clean.

I am sure that many other forum users have been in a similar situation. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for "excuses" that I can use for not having sex over this period? The SO knows that I am a sex-hound, and if I avoid sex over two weeks (without a good excuse) she will certainly become suspicious.

Thanks in advance!

CHICAGO (AFP) - In a breakthrough that could potentially lead to a cure for HIV infection, scientists have discovered a way to remove the virus from infected cells, a study released Thursday said.

The scientists engineered an enzyme which attacks the DNA of the HIV virus and cuts it out of the infected cell, according to the study published in Science magazine.

The enzyme is still far from being ready to use as a treatment, the authors warned, but it offers a glimmer of hope for the more than 40 million people infected worldwide.

"A customized enzyme that effectively excises integrated HIV-1 from infected cells in vitro might one day help to eradicate (the) virus from AIDS patients," Alan Engelman, of Harvard University's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, wrote in an article accompanying the study.

Current treatments focus on suppressing the HIV virus in order to delay the onset of AIDS and dramatically extend the life of infected patients.

What makes HIV so deadly, however, is its ability to insert itself into the body's cells and force those cells to produce new infection.

"Consequently the virus becomes inextricably linked to the host, making it virtually impossible to 'cure' AIDS patients of their HIV-1 infection," Engelman explained.

That could change if the enzyme developed by a group of German scientists can be made safe to use on people.

That enzyme was able to eliminate the HIV virus from infected human cells in about three months in the laboratory.

The researchers engineered an enzyme called Tre which removes the virus from the genome of infected cells by recognizing and then recombining the structure of the virus's DNA.

This ability to recognize HIV's DNA might one day help overcome one of the biggest obstacles to finding a cure: the ability of the HIV virus to avoid detection by reverting to a resting state within infected cells which then cease to produce the virus for months or even years.

"Numerous attempts have been made to activate these cells, with the hope that such strategies would sensitize the accompanying viruses to antiviral drugs, leading to virus eradication," Engelman wrote. "Advances with such approaches in patients have been slow to materialize."

New experiments must be designed to see if the Tre enzyme can be used to recognize these dormant infected cells, he wrote.

"Although favorable results would represent perhaps only a baby step toward eventual use in patients, the discovery of the Tre recombinase proves that enzymatic removal of integrated HIV-1 from human chromosomes is a current-day reality," he said.

The researchers who developed the enzyme were optimistic about their ability to design additional enzymes which would target other parts of the virus's DNA.

However they warned that there were significant barriers to overcome before the enzyme could be used to help cure patients.

"The most important, and likely most difficult, among these is that the enzyme would need efficient and safe means of delivery and would have to be able to function without adverse side effects," wrote lead author Indrani Sarkar of the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden.

"Nevertheless the results we present offer an early proof of principal for this type of approach, which we speculate might form a useful basis for the development of future HIV therapies," Sarkar concluded.

In my 25 year "career" it happened to me twice (bacterial STD, easily cured fortunately), but not in the last 12 years because I am much more careful about WHO I date. One of those two times was vaginal, and the other one (incredibly) was oral sex. In both cases I wore condoms properly, I claim, but I took it off within a minute of ejaculation. I suppose one could wash with alcohol and/or wait a bit more time before removing the condom, but it's tricky to fight off a swarm of microbes on the outside of a condom, if they are there. The oral episode was a car date with a woman of poor hygiene. I imagine she just finished a BBBJ with an infected guy and the contaminated saliva splashed around as I took off the condom. Yuck !

I think it matters a lot who you date. You can never be 100% sure, but if you are reasonably sure that your partner is one who consistently and correctly uses condoms, you are fairly safe. E.g. in Germany the legal prostitutes are required to use condoms, are well-trained, and get regular health checkups. In the pathetic underworld prostitution of the USA, you have to rely on the girl caring about herself. Best to avoid street prostitutes or girls who are obvious drug addicts.

Washing After Sex May Raise H.I.V. Risk

(from FoxNews)

By LAWRENCE K. ALTMAN
Published: August 21, 2007

A study in Uganda has come up with a surprising finding about sex and H.I.V. Washing the penis minutes after sex increased the risk of acquiring H.I.V. in uncircumcised men.

The sooner the washing, the greater the risk of becoming infected, the study found. Delaying washing for at least 10 minutes after sex significantly lowered the risk of H.I.V. infection, Dr. Fredrick E. Makumbi reported on July 25 at an International AIDS Society Conference in Sydney, Australia.

The researchers do not have a precise explanation for the findings, which challenge common wisdom and the teaching of many infectious disease experts who urge penile cleansing as part of good genital hygiene. Health experts have suggested that washing the penis after sex could prevent potentially infectious vaginal secretions from entering the body through the uncircumcised penis.

Washing the penis after sex is common in Africa. To determine whether washing could be recommended as an alternative to male circumcision, Dr. Makumbi’s team from the Makerere University Institute of Public Health studied 2,552 uncircumcised men in the Rakai district of Uganda.

The men, ages 15 to 49, were uncircumcised and not H.I.V. infected when they enrolled. Eighty-three percent said they washed with all sex partners.

The researchers asked about when and how the men washed after intercourse at enrollment and 6, 12 and 24 months later, including whether they washed with or without cloths.

Because of a slip-up, the researchers did not ask details of how the cleansing was done or directly about using soap, said Dr. Ronald H. Gray, a co-author from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Some soaps used in Africa are more irritating than those used elsewhere.

Men who washed within three minutes had a 2.3 percent risk of H.I.V. infection compared with 0.4 percent among those who delayed washing for 10 or more minutes. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases paid for the study.

The washing analysis was a secondary part of a study undertaken to determine the effectiveness of male circumcision against H.I.V. infection. Earlier reports had shown that circumcision was protective.

One message from the study, Dr. Gray said, “is that there ought to be a little time left for postcoital cuddling before you go and wash.”

“Don’t just finish and jump out of bed,” he said.

Dr. Makumbi and other AIDS experts said they did not know why the washing practice increased vulnerability to H.I.V. infection, but offered various explanations. One is that the acidity of vaginal secretions may impair the ability of the AIDS virus to survive on the penis. Delayed cleansing — and longer exposure to the vaginal secretions — may then reduce viral infectivity.

Another is that use of water, which has a neutral pH, may encourage viral survival and possible infectivity.

H.I.V. apparently needs to be in a fluid to cross the mucosa to infect cells, Dr. Gray said. If the H.I.V.-contaminated fluid dries, its infectivity may decrease. Adding water could resuspend H.I.V. to make it more infectious.

The study findings are counterintuitive, said Dr. Merle A. Sande, an infectious diseases expert at the University of Washington in Seattle, and “show why you have to do the studies, because until you do them, you just don’t know.”

Dr. Sande, who was not involved in the study, said, “There is still so much we don’t understand about the complex factors that influence H.I.V. transmission in the genital tract, but this important study will help.”

He also is president of the Academic Alliance Foundation, a group that trains health workers to treat AIDS and other infectious diseases in Uganda.

Just wanted clarification that protected oral sex is pretty safe?

I have been getting BBBJ from an escort who swears she is clean. I can't tell just by looking and I've been under the assumption that unless the provider has visible sores, the chances of contracting anything are very slim. Everything else we do is covered. Am I playing russian roulette here or does anyone have any concrete information to shed some light on this. Guys are always posting on here about getting BBBJ from SW's and never any mention of getting an STD. My biggest concern would be to contract Herpes, since there is no cure. Anyone have any feedback on this, or on where I would find authentic information on this subject? Thanks guys.

BBBJ is not safe. When I went to Asia last year, I got BBBJ from several working girls. They all looked clean and I wore protection for the main course.

But I got LGV and had to be on antibiotics for 21 days. So I am very sure it was from BBBJ.

I was scared as hell thinking it was herpes. Luckily it wasn't. Hope this helps.

From what I have read; infections can not be transmitted from saliva that is the HIV virus. It has to be contact with infected blood or bodily fluids. I take that to mean secretions that oozing stuff. Not saliva.

Here is some info pertaining to some of the risks of performing unprotected oral sex.

The risks go up the more sex partners you have, or the more sex partners your partners have had. Risks are higher if there are any sores, cuts, or abrasions in the mouth.

I love your post this forum. Your exploits here are legendary and you are one of the true mongering icons in our hobby. However, you should get your facts straight about the so called, "liberal media."

I got same story you did from MSNBC, CNN, CBS, Yahoo News and even the ultra liberal Air America Radio. They included the black teen girl stats and everything. If you are relying on "fauxnews" for legitimate information, you need to look a little further. The news isn't as library slanted as Rupert Murdoch's news empire would have you believe.

Not trying to flame here. I have a lot of respect for you. It's just that people who are "fauxnew's" target audience are the ones who keep our "hobby" illegal and dangerous. If it weren't for that puritanical mindset, we'd be free to practice our mongering without the fear of having our cars impounded and faces on the local news.

Anyone here had this infection, which begins like a spider bite and then turns into a boil with pus?
Can this be an STD?
ER Doctor told me is not STD, but I got my doubts, I always play safe and use cover all the time but can't protect the surrounding skin area if you know what I mean?
I never had any open cuts or any openings to catch a bug on my pelvic area, it's weird to me.
I had 2 boils infected and I'm taking some strong Antibiotics, right now I'm full of anxiety because I can't understand how I got this thing, also my ball pouch has very dry skin scaling or something!
BTW, ER doctor didn't take a culture he just looked at my boil and he told me is MRSA?
If someone here had these boils and suspected to be STD I will like to know your
experience.

Boils have been around forever,,,they are even mentioned in the Old Testament.

I had a boil on the left side of my left knee when I was about 9 or 10,,I remember squeezing out massive amounts of puss daily. But in time it healed and that was that.

If you like to pick up street meat or let strippers grind against you in a club then you may contract the bacteria that causes a boil....simple as that.

It's a naturally occurring variety of bacterium in the soil and has adapted to humans over thousands of years starting with goat herders and today anyone can have it with no symptoms,,in fact there are usually no symptoms.

After the antibiotics,,,eat a healthy diet, exercise often and take nutritional supplements, avoid skin irritation like shaving too closely on your body and treat heat rashes with anti-fungal powder, get plenty of rest...and like Psoriasis,,it will not return.

I guess most of us only worry about hiv, clamydia, herpes etc, but there are some nasty bugs you can catch by skin to skin contact,
This MRSA is supposed to be a hospital bug, so I got no clue how it got on me,

Here's one for a good discussion. There is a relative 'newbie', 20 posts as I write this, on the Ohio boards bragging about being able to tell if a girl is clean or not just by looking at her. By clean he means not infected with a sexually transmitted disease.

He's siting some 'interesting' statistics and reading to justify his unprotected sex with street walkers.

I know there are mongers out there who for whatever reason don't use protection when having sex with a working girl. My two cents for you (plural) folks is this.

1. You're already infected and want to share the 'joy'.
2. You don't care about your health or that of anyone else.

Besides HIV/AIDS, there are numerous other STDs out there. Just looking at a girl provides no positive evidence on her health status. Yes, there are some signs to help avoid a potentially infected lady, but if she doesn't have any of those signs, does it mean she's "clean" and safe?

Perhaps the numbers appear to justify unprotected sex, but consider it this way. If the chance is 1 in 1000 of becoming infected, and the girl has just had sex with number 999, what are your odds now?

Hoho, if you want to quote statistics, what are the chances of becoming infected if you have unproteced sex with an infected person? Is it still 1 in 1000? Also, when was the last time you were checked and what were the results?

I support safe sex.

Unfortunately, there are people who are not amenable to reason, and who are loathe to allow facts to change their minds.

When people hold such patently ignorant beliefs I find it best to give them wide berth. While it may be useful to challenge such assertions for the record, it's probably best not to argue too much with those propagating them. They are likely beyond hope.

Daka1

Not all who have HIV/AIDS (or any STD) know it. Many have never been tested.

People with negative results on a recent test may still be positive.

Not all who know they are HIV or STD positive will tell others or use protection.

Not all injected drug users show obvious track marks.

Young women who appear healthy and are "pretty" or "cute" are not guaranteed to be disease-free.

If a SW allows BBFS, she might easily have had hundreds or thousands of risky contacts before you, and even without needle use, she may well be infected. Your odds of contracting a disease from a likely-infected person are much higher than from a random stranger.

Even if the odds of contracting AIDS are very low for a single contact, they are obviously higher for multiple contacts: e.g., 10 contacts ==> odds are 10 X higher; 100 contacts ==> odds are 100 X higher, etc.

Even if a person's odds of contracting AIDS are very low, the disease is still incurable, extremely expensive to treat, and possibly fatal. Would you play Russian roulette even once if your odds of dying were "only" 1 in 1000?

Many people who die of AIDS have a different cause of death listed.

People selling their bodies have a host of problems, possibly including poor self-image, abuse, mental instability, lack of education, inadequate nutrition, poor or non-existent medical care, drug use, disease, criminal activity, and unsafe behavior of all sorts. Having sex with such individuals is risky business, even with protection.

People who have unprotected sex with SWs are endangering public health.

Those who advocate or defend unprotected risky sex are a menace to society.

If he is wrong, then where are all these heterosexuals dying of AIDS? I asked everyone I knew if they knew anyone who died of AIDS or had AIDS. Their answers were either "No" or "I knew one, and he was gay."

Well if you look closely, they are there. Third world countries are a good source. In Thailand, The majority of HIV infections (around 80%) occur through heterosexual sex (http://www.avert.org/aidsthai.htm). Or check here (http://www.who.int/inf-new/aids1.htm).

Just so you don't come back with well 'that's only Thailand' and you like to site a single source for your beliefs, try these as well

then look at the numbers of needle users versus sexual contact infections (http://www.avert.org/usastatg.htm).

Heterosexual transmission. (http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/factsheets/youth.htm) Young women, especially those of minority races or ethnicities, are increasingly at risk for HIV infection through heterosexual contact. According to data from a CDC study of HIV prevalence among disadvantaged youth during the early to mid-1990s, the rate of HIV prevalence among young women aged 16–21 was 50% higher than the rate among young men in that age group [5]. African American women in this study were 7 times as likely as white women and 8 times as likely as Hispanic women to be HIV-positive. Young women are at risk for sexually transmitted HIV for several reasons, including biologic vulnerability, lack of recognition of their partners’ risk factors, inequality in relationships, and having sex with older men who are more likely to be infected with HIV.

Since 1981 nearly 25 million people have died, still less than the 1918 flu epidemic killed in six months, from HIV/AIDS related illnesses. Sex workers are an extremely high risk group.

Keep on living in your dream world. Then don't expect any sympathy when your luck runs out. I just hope your man enough to not become a number 1 in my post below.

My opinion is you are an idiot who wouldn't move when a semi is getting ready to run you over because you're chances of it happening are too slim and some one wrote a book telling you so.

I keep reading reports of both providers and clients who claim to occasionally "forget" to have protection. Sometimes they say, "We went ahead and did it anyway." Some men even write that, "She says this is the first time she's done this."

Denial is so comforting. But risky.

How can a reputable provider or client NOT have protection available at all times? I wouldn't go anywhere without at least two condoms, and if the provider didn't have any, I'd certainly be loathe to repeat with her.

So, how does a guy with an SO at home explain a big box of condoms? Look, if it comes down to it, buy a locking brief case to store them in. Many people deal with sensitive material at work, such as trade secrets or sales strategies, and companies may require them to keep such media under lock-and-key.

A lot of the girls won't carry condoms, especially if they've been busted for prostitution in the past. Seems being ready is a crime, like have an alligator clip is drug paraphenalia.

I guess a condom is a signal of illegal activity to cops.

Now how to hide them from the SO is another issue. I don't have one, so I don't worry about it. :)

In any case, if the courts use the presence of condoms as evidence against a provider, the medical community and all sensible people ought to really fight this.

In fact, where prostitution is illegal, legislation ought to provide for reduced penalties if the person charged had protection.

Criminalizing condoms endangers public health.

Um....the odds are still one in a thousand. Just like with the lottery. If the odds are one in ten million of winning, and you buy a ticket every week, the odds of any given ticket winning is still one in ten million.

Like HoHo said, does anyone know a straight non-Iv drug using guy with HIV? I've never heard of one. In King County where I live (population approximately 3 million) there were 3 cases of male heterosexual HIV last year.

Let's look at the facts. Syphilis, gonnorhea, and chlamydia are easily cured by antibiotics. HPV affects 80% of the population. If you've had sex a few times, even covered, you have it or have been exposed. There are vaccines for HEP A & B, and HEP C is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. HIV is extremely difficult to pass from female to male. Which leaves herpes, a disease that is easily controlled by taking one pill a day. If you get tested regularly you don't need to worry about having an asymptomatic illness.

So when you look at it rationally, there isn't a lot to worry about. I by the way, do practice safe sex, but can understand why some don't.

All true Civ2000,,,viruses are not easily transferred to a healthy person and sexually transmitted viruses need a way through the skin.
Viral transmission is much more likely through the sinuses or lungs than with blood stream access for a healthy man, and as long as you don't have any cuts in your skin that exposes blood vessels your unlikely to have a viral infection enter your body.

Scientist say that it's 10 times easier to pass HIV from a man to a woman than the reverse because of the semen flow,,,which would explain why gay men who engage in anal sex are the predominant carriers if AIDS,,even more than intravenous drug users who if not careful would probably die from bacterial blood poisoning first.

Now bacterium is another story,,,Syphilis, Gonorrhea , Chlamydia and the sort are of bacterial nature. And bacteria can grow on your skin waiting for the opportunity yo penetrate your defenses.

This is where hygiene comes in,,and bacterial infections will usually show themselves with redness, legions or odor,,a sign to back off.

I have on several occasions after taking a SWer to a room done a quick inspection and changed my plans as far as oral or close contact around her face,,,and a few times I have just given an obviously infected girl 20. for her time and dropped her off back where I found her because she showed signs of skin irritation that is suspect.

Also if a girl is apprehensive about you looking before leaping,,like she might say "turn the light off they hurt my eyes being bright"...or she won't proudly show off her teeth and mouth but will gladly suck your dick....she's hiding the fact that there is dangerous levels of bacteria waiting to eat away at your flesh.

I once had a really cute BSWer that I fully intended to fvck,,,until we got to the NoTell room and she insisted on having a dark room.....So I turned the lamp at her and looked down there at her twat.

She had warts all around the area,,,and was not clean shaved,,,(another sign to watch out for).........do an inspection of your SWer before partaking, and if the girl is not friendly and cooperative of is uptight about you looking her over with a lighted view of her twat and mouth then beware,,,she may very well be setting a trap for your pointer......... ;)

This is my first time posting, and probably my last.

Like most people who frequent these forums, I was a lurker who frequented AMPs based on tips obtained here. This has been going on for the past five years, even though I'm a married man. Never did it without a condom, though I do remember getting BBBJ once or twice.

The problem is that recently I learned about HPV and how that can easily be transmitted even for those who wear condoms. That's more than enough to make me stop. But now I'm scared s--tless, because it is now likely that I caught HPV and transmitted it to my wife. (My wife claims that I'm the only one she's ever had sex with, and I believe her. She's also a germaphobe, so if something happens, she'll know it's me.)

I don't plan on telling my wife ever, so I have the following questions:

a) How likely is it that I'm now carrying HPV? How can I tell? There is no "FDA-approved" HPV test for men, and apparently most people who have HPV never see symptoms or only see them years after catching it.

b) Among those who are exposed to HPV, how many of these HPV cases go away on their own? I've seen conflicting reports on the web, from "Once you have it, you have it forever" to "In most cases, the immune system chases away symptoms and eliminates HPV or keeps it under control."

c) Is there any way I can get my wife tested without revealing to her what I've done? How much will it help her in terms of her health?

I really don't want a divorce, since I love my wife too much. I've done stupid things before, though, but this is just beyond stupid for me. Hopefully this will serve as a warning to other mongers who think condoms prevent everything, because they won't.

Hopefully this will serve as a warning to other mongers who think condoms prevent everything, because they won't.Twincast:

If you're scared of HPV, see a doctor or. Mostly likely. Read up online. HPV comes in many forms and is rather common. According to sites I've read, there is no known cure but the virus and any outbreaks can be handled.

The most common symptons are warts in the genital area which normally appear 2-3 months after initial infection. Because there are many types of HPV, these warts may or may not be painful. Either way, if you develop them, see a doctor. More than likely, they'll be removed. With a giant LASER! Sorry. Couldn't resist.

As for the Missus, it's harder to tell with women. Any warts that develop can be internal and pap smears are the best bet in finding them. If your wife got a pap and found out she has warts. You may want to drop the "never tell her" stance.

Probably doesn't alleviate your fears but the truth isn't always supposed to.

Go see a Dr or go to an STD clinic where they will maintain confidentiality. You are asking for advice from a mostly risk taking, sexually addicted audience here.

Hope you don't mind a Yankee jumping in. But I suggest buying a 3 pack, 5 bucks or so. Think of it as a insurance policy. You'll spend more than that in gas cruising. Use what you need, toss or donate the rest. Just my 2¢, hope y'all didnt mind. :)

IF your wife ever turns up a positive HPV test, simply shrug and say, sorry dear, but I was active BEFORE we got married. These virii can lay dormant for years before showing themselves. Check out the CDC and other health related sites before worrying yourself sick over this.

ClifThis is the story I'm considering if something bad happens. Fortunately for me, it seems HPV is very common, so the chances of getting genital warts might be low.

No warts yet on either me or my wife, but what else can I do besides get out of the game, which I have already resolved to do? It's about time for me anyway. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for (and I'm not even sure what that is), but that's a personal issue for me that really should have been resolved before I got married.

Anyway, had I known the real risks earlier, I might have ended my mongering ways sooner, but better now than much later. I don't want to make any moral judgements, but I do hope everyone who's in the game knows exactly what the risks are and always uses their big head before the little head.

How hard is it to just stop by the store on your way and buy a 3pack. All that you don't use, leave with the girl. If you strike out that night, toss them and hope for better luck next time. The cost for tossing non-used wraps is a lot less expensive than getting caught with them, and all that ensues, or taking home little lurkers.

So, how does a guy with an SO at home explain a big box of condoms? Look, if it comes down to it, buy a locking brief case to store them in. Many people deal with sensitive material at work, such as trade secrets or sales strategies, and companies may require them to keep such media under lock-and-key.

Hello Eveyone. I really need your help, I have been a mess lately. Last week a friend and I visited an AMP. It was my first time. I'm 22 and sometimes I just get horny. The nice lady gave me an HJ and some ball licking.

It might be my OCD, but I'm really worried about contracting somehting from her. Is it possible to pick up an STD from an HJ and some ball licking or am I just being paraoid. I can't sleep or eat. I'm been so worried. When should I get tested, does it take a while for the STDs to show up on testing.

Thank you for all of your help, I really appreciate any advice you guys can give me.

I can say I went for like 6 months and then it got old but I know theres a lot of groups out there and all you have to really do is lend a sad ear and before you know it -Game On!!

All of these ladies are pretty safe I went out with. They are just upset over the divorce and want to be wanted by somebody. Its a give and take kinda set up. You listen they give themselves up and you get what you want.
Hope that helps get some of you laid.

Hello All,

I live in Texas. Can anyone advice me on how I could get (not only tested but also) treated for STD "anonymously"? It seems that government sponsored programs require you to pull-in your spouse/sex-parnter in case you test positive. Is this also the same for private doctors? If you go to a doctor for treatment is he/she required to inform your insurance?

Many thanks in advance for all useful advice.

Can anyone advice me on how I could get (not only tested but also) treated for STD "anonymously"?All STD testing and treatment should be completely confidential, if not anonymous. You may be asked for your name, but they probably won't ask for ID.

If you test positive, they will most likely ask for the names of all recent sexual partners. I would hope that you would at least notify all recent sexual partners immediately so that they can get tested and treated before they spread the disease further.

If you have symptoms, or have been told by a partner that she's tested positive, the only responsible thing to do is to seek immediate medical attention.

STD treatment is usually made as hassle-free and confidential as possible in order to reach those needing attention. The only way your insurance should be notified is if you want to file a claim.

Bottom line - see a clinic or doctor immediately!

Stds are the reason why I stick to HJ/TJ action only. No BJ or FS of any sort. Too much hassle out there I say. Plus, the kind of fun I go for is usually a bit less of a strain on the wallet and tends to make the girl happy 'cause she doesn't have to do as much. But that's just me.

Don't be an ass when it come to the health of your dick and the health of others. Do not rely on the advice given on the internet. Go ask a professional. Go to a doctor, ask questions and get answers. If need be, don't even tell them about you insurance provider.

Get proper advice from a proper professional.

Get treatment if nesassary and worry about the small shit later.

OK,,,then where does the Federal Government get it's accurate statistics on treated cases of,,,,, new cases of,,, and death from HIV, ,Syphilis, Gonorrhoeae, Herpes, Hepatitis, cervical cancer...etc.,,etc.

And the regional, ethnic, gender, sex and sexual preference break down of their information......?

The fact is that all persons with a communicable deadly diseases are reported to the CDC...it's all on their web site.......

http://www.cdc.gov/nchstp/dstd/Stats_Trends/Stats_and_Trends.htm

And available in printed version free,,,just pay the cost of shipping.

Don't kid yourself Daka1,,,your dangerous medical history is recorded by the Federal Government once you've been diagnosed by a medical professional.

Only the cheek swab test that you can buy for about $40 in a drug store allows you to have an HIV antibodies test anonymously.......G61

I don't know about that Glenn. They can come up with that kind of statistical information without getting the individuals name or identity.

Personally, I don’t give a fuck – they can have my name, address, social security number, mother’s maiden name, and a signed confession – just as long as they stop the damn burning and drip, drip, drip. What options do we have, it’s either get treatment or let your damn dick fall off.

I get a yearly check-up and my doctor knows why and I don’t give a damn who he tells. Let’s face facts; if I get HIV, I am more likely to die from aids then from the shame of what I did to get it.

Don’t get me wrong, this is 2008; but it may as well be 1984, because Big Brother is watching and we all damn well better know that. In this particular case I am not so sure I mind it all that much, after all, the more people keeping an eye out for my dick and its health the better.

Medical professionals report cases, not individuals, to the CDC. The CDC has specific protocols in place to ensure confidentiality. Cases are identified by number, not by name. Even so, not all cases are reported to the CDC. For example, California (and some other states) offers anonymous testing (no name is asked) as well as confidential testing. If you want written results, though, you have to give a name.

STD testing and treatment are available at county health clinics, Planned Parenthood clinics, and hospitals, as well as private labs.

Free, low cost, and confidential clinics in Texas: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/hivstd/services/service_e.shtm, http://yourstdhelp.com/texas.html

Free and confidential clinics in NYC: http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/std/std2.shtml

Free and confidential clinics in LA County: http://www.lapublichealth.org/std/clinics.htm

Confidential private testing: http://www.localstdtesting.com/, http://www.tstd.org/

You can Google "confidential std testing" for more information.

And if you do get an STD, and they want to know with whom you've been in the last 6 months,,,proudly announce you're a wh0re-monger and good luck tracking down those cases.........

In my neck of the woods they charge you to stay anonymous. Im not sure they do it but who really knows but the government anyway.

-DragonflyxxxI would recommend this : www.nonprofitstdtesting.org 1-800-682-3047

I did a lot of research on HSV testing, and this is the best. They do three kinds of Herpes testing (lgG, IgM and another one) to reduce the possibility of false negative results and this set of tests is called Herpes panel. This detects HSV-1, HSV2 and any recent infection. Also they offer $49 for HIV antibody. Their process is completely anonymous. Call them and tell them what tests you need. I did Herpes Panel (3 tests) and HIV antibody. Costs $273. Remember, you can't order the tests yourself at the lab. I looked other sites, I found one that said Herpes Panel for $98 only. When I asked for more info, they didn't include all three tests.

You pick the lab and time. I picked a time which is 2 hrs from the time I called. It is better to do it early in the morning, so that the results will be available next day. You give your name and credit card#. A doctor orders the test via fax to the lab. You show up, the lab doesn't ask you anything (just a signature for a waiver) and your blood is drawn. Call next day to get the results. Eric from www.nonprofitstdtesting.org is extremely helpful. I did my test in the evening and the results were not available next day. He said he will call me and he did. Negative for all the tests. They also offer post test counseling and they will send the results by post or fax.

BTW, I tried at the public health. If you have any insurance coverage, you can't get tested there. They advised me to call my insurance company for the tests. Which is NOT Anonymous.

If you have small boxes for printer ink for a printer that you don't use anymore, you can keep a few there: open it up and secrete 2-3 under the ink then tape it shut. This is good if you're going on a business trip. Women never look twice at printer ink and it is a normal thing to take on a business trip. They also fit in a brief case. These are good if you want to leave something in your briefcase in the car or don't have time to buy any.

You can also get one of those pac safes and keep your main stash locked in there. If the SO wants to see what is in the locked PacSafe just tell her you can't fnd the key, you haven't opened it since your last trip, blah blah blah.

I don't actually fill it up with condoms and lock it before going on a business trip, since you have to have a key to unlock it at the airpor and it is then hard to explain how you can forget what is inside it or cannot find a key to open it. I usually hit a wal-mart (open 24-7) for condoms on the way out going on a business trip.

There are some fancy metal business card holders in which one can fit one or two condoms, behind a business card, some money, etc.

Just don't leave it lying around with a condom in it, since your SO will "check to make sure you have enough business cards" or some crap and find the contraband.

Personally, keeping anything in the house is too much risk. I keep spare condoms and my pussy phone in my golf bag inside an empty sleeve of balls. The golf bag is ALWAYS in the car. This way if the urge hits (for golf or pussy), I'm ready.

Here I am thinking I have a nice little system and you introduce melting condoms into the equation lol

I looked into it and you might be unto something. Seems on a 95degree day it can get to 120degrees in your trunk. Not enough to melt a condom but definitely enough to increase the odds of the condom breaking during use. Seems most condom advise is to keep the condoms in a cool dry place. Something else to worry about I guess :-(

So far, I managed to stay out of STDs - most of it by luck. Some of it attributed to Purell and 3M Cavilon Skin Care - which I use consistently. It was hard but, like poker, I learnt when to throw away the cards and NOT to play.

Oral Sex on the Vulva (outside of vagina) and Anus

If you are giving oral sex from mouth to vulva (outside of vagina) or from mouth to anus, you can protect yourself with methods such as the following:
Plastic Wrap (such as Saran or Cling Wrap)

Pros, Inexpensive and easy to find in any grocery or drug store) Covers a larger area Can be used with oil- or water-based lubricants Allows heat to be felt through the wrap

Cons Can rip -- use caution with fingernails

Directions on Use: Cover the vulva area with the plastic wrap. You can either cut a piece of the wrap and hold it in place or wrap the pelvic area. To increase sensitivity, you can place lubricant on the side facing the vulva. Once you are done, throw the plastic wrap away. If you are rimming, follow the directions above but place the wrap over the anal area.

Are you guys nutz or something? Sounds like discussion atypical of 12 and 13 male pre-teens.

Don't let this category turn into a discussion of the cans or cannots be put on male genitals with or w/o pain, okay?

Topical agents STATE on the pkg uses for. In general, if/when an agent can be placed into the MOUTH (or, eye, ear, throat), is safe to put on your male genitals.

TOPICAL means what it says! On top of the skin! NOT in your insides, okay? If, unsure or illiterate, place a small bit of the agent on your tongue and wait 5 min.

This is a category of SAFE sex, okay? That means, USE A RAINCOAT! If worried about germs, bacteria, etc. , and how to kill AFTER having UNsafe sex; you've already been exposed; therefore, NOTHING you can do to alter that FACT, okay?

I was wondering if its possible that some people are just immune to STDs like Herpes ? You hear people say things like "1 out of 4" women have Herpes or whatever. Well in basically 25 years that I've been sexually active, I've sexed literally hundreds of women almost never with a condom. My first wife was a hooker a few years before I met her, etc... basically I've engaged in about every risky behavior you can imagine outside of homosex and IV drugs.

I find it hard to believe that in all these years the worst I've ever gotten was a case of crabs, and I'm sure I didn't get them from sex - I caught them at church.

Is it possible that I'm just immune to Herpes ? I hear that some people can carry it their entire life, but they will never have a breakout or display any symptoms - is that possible ?

Oral and upper throat cancers from HPV are now equal to the number of cases of oral and upper throat cancers from smoking and drinking combined.

The government is now considering giving the HPV vaccine to male teenagers as well.

That's true. There was a documentary on disovery that few people are immune to HIV. Some even were tested positive then few years later tested negative. They also show this prostitute from Africa they are studying.
While searching I found this;
http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080110194127AASxbbZ

I've wondered about this myself as well,,,after like 200 hundred encounters with women going P4P, and more than a dozen casual and short term relations with women I became intimate with, I've never had a single infection, not even crabs.

I get tested at least once a year... I recently raised my life insurance from 150K to 250K.

The insurance company insisted on a full blood work and liver test,,,,nothing, my cholesterol was a little high and as long as I take my daily pill to flush out the excess salt, my blood pressure is OK too.

I do suffer occasionally from psoriasis because I'm too damn white, but I had a biopsy and it tested negative as well.

I maintain a diet high in raw vegetables and fruit,,, don't smoke or dabble in narcotics,,,just some beer and wine lately.

I prefer women that keep their kitty clean shaved, the hairy ones might be hiding something,,,,,,,And Glenn61 is no fag.

I'm somewhat germ-phobic in that I wash and piss after sex, and my home is always hospital clean,,,,,,,but I still feel like one lucky son-of-a-b1tch..............:)

Scientists aren't yet calling it immunity, but some people do have a high resistance to HIV, and they seem to fall into two groups. One is HEPS - highly exposed, persistently seronegative. Scientists studied a cohort of African prostitutes who seemed to have acquired a resistance to HIV from frequent exposure. Oddly, most of them lost the resistance and became HIV+ when they stopped being prostitutes.

The second group are those who have a genetic mutation that leaves them lacking the CCR5 protein receptor on their T-cells. This shows the most promise for a cure, either through gene therapy or bone marrow transplant (if you have lieukemia; otherwise it's too risky). An American living in Germany has been HIV-free for 2 years now following a BMT for unrelated lieukemia, and a British man has had similar luck following experimental gene therapy.

I have to read that book, it sounds like what I've been saying for 30 years. The purpose of the myth is to make homo activity appear to be "normal", just another way to express your sexuality. What a crock. Homos give aids to each other, and we all have to pay for it. Homos are portrayed as "victims", when in fact we are the victims.

Another myth I'd like to see explored is the myth that aids can't be spread by insects. Why is it that aids is spread by prostitutes in countries where body lice are common, but not in the developed countries where body lice, bed bugs and such are rare?

One good thing about the myth is that people are using condoms more, which has cut down on the traditional stds.

I read here how DATY can spread aids. I've eaten at the Y hundreds of times, and I haven't caught anything. I've never shared a needle, or had a penis up my butt.

AIDS isn't a problem, it's a solution!

Ok, so it's obviously possible to get STDS by doing DATY, especially herpes. However, I was a bit drunk and did it anyway but I only did 2 licks.

Does it matter how long you did it for? Should I get tested anyway? Surely 5 seconds of DATY is less risky than 50 minutes of it.

R you aware, not necessary to have s-e-x to get herpes?

If do not see blood or an outbreak, would be hard to get. Must be active outbreak.

Or at least that what have read.

Else, keep it covered b/c of the rain

The cold virus can be present on a door knob for a long time. What we do not know is who was CG/SW' last client was. A lick is all it takes. Some have been very lucky and I hope it stays that way!

I indulged and was caught by the wife. She was tested and came out fine. I was lucky she told me "If you had given me something I would have taken the 9mm and shot your balls off." She went through hell for 10 day waiting for the test results. I paid for the test and the divorce. My boys are safe and I wear a cover now!

Help needed urgently

Hey guys,

Recently had unprotected sex with a provider and then after the deed was done I left for my home and when I reach home I see that there is blood in my undies and on my d**k. That has now scared the shit outta me but on the way I asked that woman if she had any disease or not she said she didn't but I am still very worried and don't know what to do. Now what I want to know is if I get my hiv tests tommorow how long will it take for reports to come and I have read somewhere that it takes around 3 months for the hiv antibodies to appear so even if my report is negative I can still have hiv infection.

Please help out guys.

I'm not a doctor, but I've had DATY with hundreds of women, probably a thousand. Many of them were from the lower echelon of society. I've also received BBBJ from hundreds of the same women. I've never caught anything, and I've never heard of anyone catching anything from a BBBJ or DATY.

I still don't understand how you do DATY without licking. Do you cover her with a sheet of saran-wrap? That just wouldn't be the same. Also, I don't know what you would do if a herpes test came back positive. You wouldn't know if you caught it 10 years ago or what. You wouldn't treat anything if there weren't symptoms, so whats the point?

I'm curious about sucking milk from her breasts, can you catch anything? I don't mean is it mathematically possible, I mean does it really happen?

Germs and or STD's can be passed by bodily fluids. This doea not mean just blood but all fluids. Look how easy it is to catch the flu. There is a thing called dental condoms to protect the mouth. Yes, it is not the same a bare but worth it? Anytime you exchange fulids you take a risk. You have been lucky.

As for herpies, check it now and if you get it in the future you can go back to dates and warn others. Hope this helps. Cover up!

It is a case of swapping bodily fluids. Germs do not stay in one place. Dental condoms? Blood is not the only way to pass STDs. Silva is another way along with sexual fluids. Just be careful. H.H.

OK class (remedial mongering 099), pay attention...

1) What is the single most easy sexual way to pick up HIV? Very good: BBanal.

2) Followup: why, *thirty years ago,* did gays first show up with AIDS? Correct again: BBanal. (Don't they love it!)

3) Which of all sexual practice most closely imitates IV needle sharing (THE most efficient means of transmitting HIV) because it transmits body fluids through the skin barrier? Wow, correct again: BBanal. (What a good class! You probably knew that BBanal tears the rectal skin, and the virus gets through easily.)

4) So then, what SWs would be most likely to carry HIV: Oh, you're on it: drug abusers, deep into IV drugs.

5) OK. Last question. Which SWs, because of the depth of their addiction, would be most likely to accept *any* unprotected sex act, even BBanal for a fix? Wow. (see previous question...) You taught yourselves, except for the back of the room idiots who were paying NO attention to anything but their little head.

So now you KNOW how to get AIDS. Go forth and get it. (Darwin said natural selection will remove the back of the room idiots from the gene pool...)

I have to disagree. The easiest way to get aids is via a blood transfusion. The blood supply is supposed to be controlled better now, and there's not much you can do to avoid a blood transfusion, other than storing your own blood, which is a lot of hassle. The second easiest way is to share needles with someone who has aids. I don't use needles. The third easiest way is to RECIEVE ANAL. Think about it. The virus is in the cum, the cum goes from the donor to the recipient.

I've been hearing for 30 years how hookers are going to infect the straight community. When is it going to happen? I don't believe anything the CDC says, because they'd rather be politically correct than scientifically correct.

Now, before doing DATY, I look it over, and if there are open sores I'm going to bail. I've never seen that.

Giani

Got a trigger finger? You get no argument here about monumental danger of needle sharing. Transfusions? Formerly, yes. Are you going to a fourth world country to get your transfusion? Perhaps a real danger there. In US, Europe etc, there is near zero probability that transfusions still carry danger of HIV (yes, 20 years ago it was a different story.) And not to say there are not other blood-borne dangers with transfusions. But are these *sexual* practices??? Sexual practices are, after all, the focus of these forums.

To repeat... the relative risk of transmission of HIV by *SEXUAL* activity (all unprotected, of course...):

1) Anal (tears rectal skin, as well as around the head of the penis)
2) Rape/forced dry sex in which abrasion occurs (see previous)
3) Consensual sex with concomitant lesions (Herpes, etc)
4) Consensual sex with healthy partner (evidence actually suggests that it is *difficult* to transmit HIV from the otherwise healthy female to the healthy male.) Science needs the courage to explore this aspect thoroughly.
5) Oral sex??? VERY little evidence of transmission, although if the recipient has lesions of any kind in the mouth, transmission should be possible, but extremely rare.

Maybe you consider blood transfusion or needle sharing a sexual activity??? Maybe for Dracula.

Dismayed that argumentative non-attention to substance of a post can lead to misunderstanding.

See my post a week or so ago. Hep C is transmitted blood (or semen) to blood, just like HIV. While it is not impossible to be transmitted by consensual and otherwise healthy sex (i.e., no concomitant lesions from other STDs or sores or abrasions on penis or vagina), transmission appears to be rare by consensual well prepared vaginal sex (get her well lubricated first). Transmission is more likely from male to female than vice versa. Oral transmission risk is nearly zero.

Of course, don't share needles with her... ;-)

Hope this helps.

Giani

P.S. HellonWls: Hep A is spread by ingestion of fecally contaminated food or drink. B and C are blood to blood, or semen to blood.

I would support the dangerous part. Everyone is into something a bit different. Like a previous poster, I have had sex with a close, MONOGAMOUS partner numerous times.

BTW - saliva is the exception. Since it is acidic (to help break down food), HIV doesn't stand much of a chance in there.

HIV is found in blood, and is transferred blood to blood. Period.

One of us is prone to give our friends VERY dangerous misinformation. This is somewhat true. Outside the body, HIV dies almost immediately. In a dead person, it dies within minutes (My brother had AIDS and I know a lot about this). You CAN contract it through saliva, but it is extremely rare...99.99% rare or about the same as a condom...that's why the dentists won all those lawsuits back in the 90's. What is more likely orally is Herpes.

WRONG. A small amount of research on your part will tell you otherwise.

Three main transmission routes for HIV have been identified. HIV-2 is transmitted much less frequently by the mother-to-child and sexual route than HIV-1.

Sexual

The majority of HIV infections are acquired through unprotected sexual relations. Sexual transmission can occur when infected sexual secretions of one partner come into contact with the genital, oral, or rectal mucous membranes of another. In high-income countries, the risk of female-to-male transmission is 0.04% per act and male-to-female transmission is 0.08% per act. For various reasons, these rates are 4 to 10 times higher in low-income countries.[34]

The correct and consistent use of latex condoms reduces the risk of sexual transmission of HIV by about 85%.[35] However, spermicide may actually increase the male to female transmission rate due to inflammation of the vagina.[36]

Blood or blood product

In general if infected blood comes into contact with any open wound, HIV may be transmitted. This transmission route can account for infections in intravenous drug users, hemophiliacs and recipients of blood transfusions (though most transfusions are checked for HIV in the developed world) and blood products. It is also of concern for persons receiving medical care in regions where there is prevalent substandard hygiene in the use of injection equipment, such as the reuse of needles in Third World countries. Health care workers such as nurses, laboratory workers, and doctors have also been infected, although this occurs more rarely. People who give and receive tattoos, piercings, and scarification procedures can also be at risk of infection.
Since transmission of HIV by blood became known medical personnel are required to protect themselves from contact with blood by the use of Universal precautions.

Mother-to-child

The transmission of the virus from the mother to the child can occur in utero during pregnancy and intrapartum at childbirth. In the absence of treatment, the transmission rate between the mother and child is around 25 percent.[28] However, where combination antiretroviral drug treatment and Cesarian section are available, this risk can be reduced to as low as one percent.[28]
Breast feeding also presents a risk of infection for the baby.
Other routes

HIV has been found at low concentrations in the saliva, tears and urine of infected individuals, but there are no recorded cases of infection by these secretions and the potential risk of transmission is negligible.[44]

Casual contact through closed-mouth or "social" kissing is not a risk for transmission of HIV. Because of the potential for contact with blood during "French" or open-mouth kissing, CDC recommends against engaging in this activity with a person known to be infected. However, the risk of acquiring HIV during open-mouth kissing is believed to be very low. CDC has investigated only one case of HIV infection that may be attributed to contact with blood during open-mouth kissing.

Saliva, Tears, and Sweat

HIV has been found in saliva and tears in very low quantities from some AIDS patients. It is important to understand that finding a small amount of HIV in a body fluid does not necessarily mean that HIV can be transmitted by that body fluid. HIV has not been recovered from the sweat of HIV-infected persons. Contact with saliva, tears, or sweat has never been shown to result in transmission of HIV.

Neither circumstance is likely to be a cause, but then again, who wants to be one of the "rare" circumstances. Why put oneself in a situation where the odds are increased? That much blood could infect an area not protected. To me it's gross, but even worse I'd be worried about the risk and unable to enjoy it if it wasn't gross.

Saliva kills HIV? We'd have had a vaccine in 1983 if that were true.

Not necessarily. I can see how you'd formulate that conclusion, but to summarize the response below: just because a virus can't thrive in something, doesn't mean that it would necessarily lead to a cure or vaccine. There are household disinfectants that can rid surfaces of viruses, including HIV. It can't live in and on everything.

I'm not disputing your post, but I wouldn't trust wikipedia for something as important as this.

If you look at the bottom, almost all of that is cited. So technically, the information isnt coming from Wiki.

Also, you pretty much reposted everything I had originally posted.

All the posts seem to discuss odds of getting or not getting a disease from having a BBBJ by someone. What about the opposite. Getting something while giving one? Recently dating a mid 40's Korean women who worked 14 yrs in AMP's. Left bussiness in 1999. Wondering & she is too. She told me that she probably gave 7-8 /day. Which I calculate as about 50/wk or 2500/yr & about 35, 000 total. She seems & feels real healthy.

Thank you.

Thank you.The odds of getting something are higher for the person that is giving the oral service. That is because the fluids (vaginal or seminal) make there way into the oral cavity of the person and have a higher chance of being transmitted. If that person has any small tears/ sores within their mouth will be at an even greater risk.

I think the odds of getting HIV are via BBBJ are lower for the one getting the service, however, there are many other STDs which can be passed much more easily. Personally, I do not think it is worth the risk. I would rather go covered than have bumps, sores, or some sort of discharge coming out of my package a few days later.

I am interested to hear from the other mongerers in here who regularly had BBBJ if they have ever had any issues.

The questions have arisen both here and recently on the Cincinnati forum (http://www.usasexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=821171&postcount=330) about the STD risks of a man receiving oral sex from a woman. In all cases, it is less risky for the man to receive a BJ than the woman who is performing, since she receives the 'gift' of cum. Her saliva does not remain in place long, especially if he washes very soon after the activity. Of great importance: if you, the male, have any of the following symptoms, DO NOT HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH ANYONE. Here is my take on the relative risks of oral transmission of STDs:

1) Several STDs are easily transmitted orally:

a) HERPES. Oral herpes (most often Herpes I) is clearly transmittable from mouth to genitals. I personally know of a woman who caught it this way (an infected guy DATY). And yes, once you have it, it is for life. If there is a bright side, the first flare-up is usually by far the worst. Some never get a flare up again. You can get some indication of risk if the person has "cold sores" or "fever blisters" on the mouth or genitals. Avoid them like the plague. It is much less, but still plausible, to catch it in the absence of sores. Herpes II, usually genital, can be transmitted to the mouth, so DATY is hardly risk free.

b) CHLAMYDIA: Very common, so-called "Non-gonococcal urethritis." If you get it, it is easy to spot in the male (discharge of pus, hard to pee, and then you have itching and burning). These are the same signs and symptoms of the clap. It is much harder to discern Chlamydia or clap in females because they always have some discharge. Both can cause sterility in the female. Can be treated with antibiotics, but especially gonorrhea is becoming resistant to penicillin.

c) GONORRHEA: Clap can definitely be transmitted orally, but I do not know the relative risk. If you have any symptoms as listed in Chlamydia, seek medical attention immediately, do NOT have unprotected sex with anyone. Penicillin used to cure it, but many strains today are resistant.

c) SYPHILIS: from what I hear, these days, there is a relatively low risk of oral transmission, but does happen. If you got it? A painless sore on your penis appears in several weeks: red, raised, erosion in the center (a chancre). DO NOT IGNORE. It will go away and hide for months to years, and then come back with a vengeance. Seek medical attention immediately, do NOT have unprotected sex with anyone. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, antiboitics can knock it down.

2. Some STDs are unlikely to be spread orally.

d) HIV AND HEPATITIS C: Risk is low for these because transmission requires blood to blood exposure. If you have sores on your penis, it is plausible that you could catch them receiving oral sex. (Or if she has sores in her mouth, you could give it to her). But if you are healthy, and her BBBJ doesn't wear off your skin (a real problem with some rough BJs), your risks are very low.

So unprotected sex is not without its risks, but some accept the relatively low risk because of the heightened pleasure of BB. Others insist on covered BJ. You can get SOME idea of the risk by closely observing the SW: How well do you know her? Is she very clean? Does she ALWAY require protection for FS? Does she have any sores? (Hey--this should have eliminated her in the first place)? Does she stink? etc.

So... forewarned is forearmed. If you do BBBJ, stay closely tuned to what the little head reports back to you the next week or two. And keep yourself clean.

Yu the man Giani, very good report on std's.

The mouth is considered the dirtiest of orifices. It fact a human bite is considered much worse that an animal bite.

Men concentrate any viruses we have in our semen. That's why she is more at risk than we are.

Even if she is not actively infected, she will have remnents of the last guy(s) she blew if she is offering uncovered service. Do you ever see a provider brush and gargle after service?

Mucous membranes, ie. the meatus or "pee hole", the mouth and throat, and the anus are very suceptable to std infection.

As far as telling if she's "clean", that's imposible with out lab tests.

Although they're not 100% effective, I always use a condom.

No one likes condoms, but some are better than others, this is not the place to cheap out. I use one with a oversize tip, they feel like your not wearing any thing.

Any way you slice it, there is still risk.

Thanks Firehouse Mack,Giani & Primal 423: My korean girl friend was lucky in that she tested negative for HIV & HVC as did I. During her years in the massage trade giving many BBBJ's she likely had gonococcal & clamydia pharangitis multiple times according to her doctor. At least two or three sore throats a month treated with antibiotics while she was active. Now she never gets sore throats...they stopped after leaving the massage parlor work within 2-3 months. She tested positive for having had syphilis in the past and related on six or seven occassions over her 14 years of work of having had mouth sores similer to chancre's. Her doctor gave her I.V. penecillin shots to be safe in case she still was infected. She tested positive for herpes 2 and may have acuired it orally. Also positive for HVB (hepatitis b) but not active. She is now & was according to her always very clean...used mouth wash & cleaned her vagina with betadine and douche after every time with a guy & used condoms when having intercourse except for several times. We all have to be careful. I would never have dreamed that Young was an ex massage parlor attendent had she not been very honest with me.College grad. Bussiness women ;owns 3 dry cleaners and an asian grocery store. Now I am learning that she is the exception. Several other korean female/american male married couples that Young knows where the females have kept things a secret. One unfortunate one possibly resulted in a family getting HIV. Young said her friend was known as one having mostly unprotected intercourse when working at many massage parlors across the country over several years in the 1990's.

Thanks every one again & be safe in your adventures.

First of all brothers please congratulate me on dodging a bullet.
I had the whole pus coming from the penis or so I thought, itchy and painful etc I thought it was chlamydia or ghonorrhea and I had been doing this really skanky civilian oh my god she should have paid me I could only do her once every few weeks and the i swore i would never touch her again but then a few weeks later... well, anyway, i got the scare of my life but dodged the bullet.
So I have this ichor coming out of Slim Jim and decide to get a test done on line so as it will be top secret and no one will know.
Well, all the tests claim to be "confitential". That means they take your ID, get your address, social, etc, and report any negative results to the CDC, to the state health department, to your insurance, to any fucking person they can imagine, except maybe your 90-year-old gramma.
So, Confidential does not mean shit.
What you need is ANONYMOUS that means they can't report you because they don't know your name.
If you give them ID, they will write it down and report you to CDC, insurance, probably motherfucking foodworkers of america.

What you need to do is go to private md (www.privatemdlabs.com).
You buy a $200 gift card at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc, and call the Private MD 1-800 number and order the D-Lux std panel for $196. You give them an Alias (any name you like so I said my name was Jackson) and fake birthday and fake phone number but REAL EMAIL. Then you go to the clinic nearest you, you DO NOT give them your ID, if the nazis insist on your idea, let them call the 1-800-Private MD number and Private MD will tell them to let you take the test anonymously.

Then you will get ANONYMOUS results. You are free to tell WHO you like. I would only tell GOD if I were you.

Anyway, I dodged a bullet I am STD FREE, HIV, HSV, Syph, Gono, Chlam, all that shit can't touch me.

Went to the doc she said it is just trauma to the penis (fucking to hard lol).
On closer cosnideration, it was mucous, not really pus, that came out, probably just the dick trying to lubricate itself due to the trauma I put it thourh.

Anyway good luck you f*ing hochasers I learned my lesson I will only bareback hot chicks from now on so that if I get aids and my dick shrivels up and falls off at least I will have a last good memory. Or maybe I will bareback when drunk. Or maybe in another few weeks.

I will withhold the congratulations... mongers who do FS bareback are the ones that infect SWs in the first place, making it dangerous for all the rest of us.

You bring up an important point, though I am not sure I have the confidence in the mail-order STD tests. Did the clinic take your blood? Did they apply it to the panel? What is the track record for the panel you bought? And you wound up seeing a doctor? It is a confusing tale.

Pus, a serious sign of clap (gonorrhea) or chlamydia (non-gonococcal urethritis) is cloudy, is yellowish white. The symptoms are a urethra which itches, stings and burns. Anyone that gets this should get immediate professional diagnosis and treatment. BTW, Pus is EASY to tell from mucus Mucus is clear, shiny and makes long strings between the fingers. Also, I never heard of mucus being overproduced from excessive sexual activity, tho it is not impossible... And what is ichor?

Finally, you say "I am STD FREE, HIV, HSV, Syph, Gono, Chlam, all that shit can't touch me." Didn't you just say you dodged a bullet? And now you are bullet-proof? Maybe we misunderstand your conclusion here.

Bareback full service with providers is Russian roulette, but with the gun aimed at your penis... That bullet WILL find its target one of these days.

Wishing you the best and hoping other mongers see the errors of your tale and cover up for FS routinely as part of the hobby.

Giani

It was weird I thought my doctor sat awful close to me then she suddenly grabbed my groin. Then she said, oh, sorry, i guess i should have warned you, i'm just checking your lymph gland. But she didn't move away from me. Weird. then she started to make jokes about come and cum etc. So I think if she actually believed i had an std she wouldn't have been behaving that way.

I did bareback with a civilian, not a provider.
Sure living each day increases the chance you will eventually die, you don't have to fuck a ho bareback, but i sure as hell am going to do it bareback with someone(s) sometime(s), we can't all be like Michael Jackson going through life always wearing a glove, besides didn't save him won't save you.

The lab took blood and urine. They used NAA for the chlamydia and gonorrhea. My doctor seemed convinced by the results. If you go to your doc and let them test you, he sends your shit to the same lab, and if you test hot, they report you to the CDC and your insurance. so why not send your shit to the lab yourself in a way that protects your privacy? that's the point here, not losing your insurance or getting your name on a gov't list someplace.

Well it was the doc who suggested it was mucous, i guess the doc is the professional? and from the way it was dried on my underwear, it was mucous (long shiny strings), not pus.

Maybe _we_ misunderstand your conclusion here.

I went to get checked recently and saw those $200 sites on the internet that send you to a lab in the area for a test. I didnt want to give my CC# and name to some dude on the phone so I bailed, but I did get a few of the addresses they send you to from the guy. Well, I figured I might save a buck and just went myself, you know, cut out the middleman. Well when I got there the suite was empty. As in vacant, no biz here. Maybe is was an old address, but I can imagine that this might be a great way to rip someone off. Like are you gonna call the cops and explain to your SO about getting ripped off? In any event, turns out the state will perform tests on you for nothing. Free state-sponsered clinics and whatnot. That might be the best route.

Private MD worked fine for me, the lab was in a business park, there were nurses and other customers there. It seemed legit. There was no need to provide a CC#, that would not be anonymous, you just buy a gift card at CVS or Walgreen or Wamlart, etc. Then you call the 1-800 number and give them the gift card number. There is no way for them to get your name.

Fellows why pay $200 bucks to get tested confidentially when you can go to the public health dept in your city or county and get it done for free. They will also give you meds if you need it also as everything is confidential. I typically go once a year for a complete STD screening as my own Dr charges $200 plus.

"Confidential" means that if you test positive you automatically go on a government list but other people cannot find out if you do not give them permission.
However, everytime you apply for insurance, you have to give them permission to see ALL your medical records.
Many job applications also require you to give them permission to see ALL your medical records.
So "confidential" means nothing really.
"Annonymous" means that they never know your name, so no one can connect you and your test results.
However, there may be some way to avoid giving your real name to the public health department so that you can get free medical care and avoid anything going in your records.

So, for the last 8 years probably i have had a recurring rash in my groin area.

I went to the doc a few years back(i'm embarrassed, so that's why i haven't been back) and he gave me some cream to use, which i do when it itches. Seems to get worse after exercise. The cream works great and the rash/itchiness goes away, but always comes back.

Do you guys think its some fungus i might have picked up at an AMP? I also just got checked for chlamydia and gonorrhea and both negative. Herpes also negative.

Anyone have had a similar rash/itch in the groin area?

Friends, Less than three weeks ago I had completely covered sex with a provider. I am 90% sure i have herpes. Went to one of the anonymous test places ($373) and results were negative for gonorrhea, syphilis and chlamydia. I feel like crap and my dick is in Pain. There were no nodules (small and easy to miss) until today at the base of my penis.

My first plea is how to tell my wife of 37 years. She HATES people who cheat and if she doesn't kill me (no joke), she will clean me out. I have recently lost my job and will be on the streets.

Second of all, what can I do for this God-awful pain? I have been told by the "counselor" at the test place that I may have a sore inside the urethra.

Having dark thought of suicide.

This provider was chosen because she does EVERYTHING covered. I have only once seen a provider before, and now this.

Looking for help here...

I would not be the least bit surprised if this is a mental thing. When you are embarrassed, you blush. And when you are scared, you get goosebumps. Some people break into hives when they are pissed off. I would not be the least bit surprised if all of your guilt and worry has made this a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I personally have done BBFS with almost 300 SWs and 150 or so non-pros. I have caught chlamydia once. (I thought I had it again recently but it was a side effect of a medication I was taking for something unrelated to sex.) I have never had a wart, a lesion or anything like what I learned in sex ed.

Go to a real clinic or doctor. If it is not a negative manifestation of your guilt, it is something really bad or something as minor as a bladder infection.

That could explain a possible internal sore.

Also, if it is herpes, this could be a one time outbreak. Regardless, medicine has come a long way, soon things like these will be non-existent.

I would put money on the guilt though.

Find a doctor who will treat you and don't be ashamed. Doctors have to protect your privacy-they work for you and are not police and they don't care where you've been (though you may get a little lecture). You don't need counselors. Waiting for the herpes results. Pray you don't get this. My pecker is in misery I feel sick and can't sleep. Of course, I am trying to act natural until the tests confirm the little bumps are herpes.

Man, I guess there is no safe sex. I was very careful.

sorry for your missery. please avoid sex with the wife while you are unsure. You have been married for 37 years. your older then and can always say you have a medical problem. You could have a very painfull twisted balls where the nut sack gets twisted inside and cuts off the blood flow. it hurts and must be surgically fixed. This is a cause of the pain. or you can tell her you have a lump in a nut and need to get it checked out. however this will arise her courisioity and make her want to go to the doctor with you.

Just do not infect her. We do not need a new Tiger W. in Portland. Hide the golf clubs and sharp items.

good luck please post how it comes out. So Who was the lucky girl.

All I can say is see a Dr. quick, If you have something and could have already infected her you have to tell her.

I once thought I had caught something from a rub & tug (I know) I told my wife. Turned out to be a simple irritation most likely from the lotion they use, now I take a piss right after each session.

Tough but did it, got the dog house for a bit and burned a little trust. But the honesty was a bonus.

One year later she told me If I'm going to amps she wanted to see girls and already has a girlfriend.

Now we do a little swinging, we are a very rear couple. She reads this board and when we drive by an amp I point them out.

Good luck, never say anything you have to back peddle on only makes things worse.

Good ideas, but she would have to see the scar and drive me to the doctors. I don't want to cut my sac for reality. Lump? Perhaps. But how do I explain all the Herpes meds I'll be taking for the rest of my life.

This is not a criticism -- it's really helpful, but if anybody can come up with other ideas ... HELP BTW, my dick/balls killing me. And how do I hide the bumps from her?

Going to the Doctor tomorrow or the next day. He, too, will kill me. I have other health issues. Shit, this might kill me.

My wife is NOT at all in the mode of your wife. I will have to tell her as she has a medical condition and an infection would literally kill her. She is very straight and narrow; a very good woman, but unbendable. I literally fucked my life.

Suck it up dude, life goes on and more to life than sex.

Ya I got it very different, I don't bang the amps since I can bang another regular (sort of ) girl and my wife don't get pissed. She actually likes to watch.

The start of this swinger shit did have allot of stress don't get me wrong, tough for a guy to see his wife kiss another guy and then some. Have to say seeing her suck face with a chick gives me a major boner.

Honesty always the rest will always lead down a dark path.

See a DR. then tell the truth she will find out and better from you than her Dr.

Relax.
It could be nothing.
Don't tell your wife yet.
Herpes is for life so a few days really are not going to hurt her.
If it is herpes, it is possible you could have gotten it a long time ago and it laid latent until some stress in your life caused it to surface.
Swear innocence and that it must have happened before meeting her. She really DOES NOT want to know you were fucking around.
And if you do tell her, she will forgive you.
Deep down all women know all men do this.
But they don't want their man to be that man so they will believe any crap you tell them. They don't want the truth, just reassurance. Well, she probably needs to know if you have a positive herpes test, but she doesn't need to know you got it a few weeks ago from some hooker.
It's not a suicide deal.
Your doctor should be sympathetic as weill, if he isn't, find another.
You are just being human don't beat yourself up.

Like someone else recommended, just tell your wife you banged your nuts or something and cringe in pain whenever she gets near them. She isn't going to look too hard at your pubic area, is she?

Just don't give a lot of details. If you give a lot of details and later the story is different hard to explain, Generalized pain is not so hard to explain. Most women I know aren't really interested in doing intense exams of the male genital area. In fact I think there are a few who hardly even look after years of fucking. I could suddenly have a black penis and thye wouldn't notice. Shit I could grow or shave a beard and it takes a few days for women to notice. Face it, man, women don't look too hard at us until we start acting guilty then they start to look so just relax.

Well, it IS something, and my pecker and balls are in agony. And my pecker has all these little lumps on it. It's gotta be herpes. As cringing in pain due to an "accident" that ain't gonna fly as I will have to do this for ever as herpes can be spread without lumps or sores present. And since she is a type 1 diabetic, this could kill her.

My wife used to be a nurse and has heard/seen it all. No way will she accept the a lie. I'm dead, one way or another. Hell, I would have to have contacted herpes 37+ years ago.

or pick a fight with her so she is angry then she won;t want to look at your nuts.
the best doctors in the world do cancer, heart, brain surgery, etc.
the second rate ones do std research.
it is not a hard and fast science.
it is possible for herpes to lay dormant for years.
if she was a nurse she will know that the human body is weird and it is hard to asolutely rule out any possibility. she is probably on your side.
it's not your fault she is diabetic and you didn't do this on purpose.
relax a little stop beating yourself up.

well std's are fairly rare. especially if the woman was always covered. most liekly it is nothing.
have you talked to the woman who you think gave it to you? find her and ask her if she is ok or has had any positive tests.
be nice to her, you don't want to scare her away by gettting pissed off. she will lie also. but be supportive tell her you're not upset but need more infor. encourage her to go to the dr also and get tested.
it is always possible one of you will have a false negative so two getting tested is better than one. also she has been exposed longer you may not test positive yet.

if you don't want to get divorced admit nothing.

I recently had an encounter that involved a CBJ that did not go to completion (just not the right place and time). I left the cover on and went on my way. When I got home, I removed the cover and there were all sorts of dark specks (black/dark brown) on my penis and a few left inside the cover. The specks almost looked like the tobacco from a cigarette. Now I'm trying to figure out what exactly this could have been. I was not the one to supply the cover, so now I'm a bit worried.

First, I doubt this is your first experience with someone other than your wife? Right?

Second, I'd not get too upset until you have positive test results.

Third, the last thing I'd do is share this with your wife until you know something for sure.

I've had a few of those scares myself. I don't have herpes but was blessed with the embarrassment of living with "cold sores" all my life. My last wife was as well. Fortunately neither of us has had an outbreak in the past ten years.

But it caused a bit of guilt in the past. Sometimes any "vigorous activity" would cause an outbreak that would show up in the genitals. It could be self-manipulation, but sometimes after visiting someone other than my wife, I'd "break out." I felt guilty as hell, even though I could pass it off as normal because my wife was very aware of "our" situation.

I know it's tough to live with the guilt, but until you know anything for sure why get "everyone" all wound up? Let's say you tell her, and it turns out to be nothing except anxiety. Now what? Either way you're gonna feel guilty so I'd wait until you know something worth reporting.

I sincerely hope it ends up being nothing. I also hope you don't tell the wife before it's time. I know you might feel the need to "come clean," but it's gonna get you nowhere at this point (well except maybe divorce court.) Again you'll feel guilty either way.

So hey... If your wife wants to fuck, just say "I caught my pecker in my zipper and have this sore." Offer to wear a condom (after 37 years?) or offer to just "eat it" until after you heal.

A monger needs to be prepared, you know? Good luck DD. Keep us posted.

Thanks for your notes and support. All tests came back negative, but I need to go back for more in 2.5 months. My doctor tells me that testing after 15 days is not conclusive, and I need to be tested 3 months after the fact.

Now, something is up. My balls are killing me and the end of my pecker hurts frequently. I think my nuts are from exercising with too much weights (shit, gotta remember I'm an old man). The exercise thing happened the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but started hurting the next day.

Could the exercise and damage I may have done (not positive it's from that) also make my penis hurt?

Don, have you seen a urologist about this, or just had testing done at a clinic? A urologist may be able to diagnose your symptoms and answer the questions you have about the mysterious pains--now that you've tested negative for infection. As has been stated, a lot of things can go wrong with your nads and penis. Very complex plumbing. Tubes can become twisted or ruptured, you could have a cyst, you could have a non-venereal urinary infection. It goes without saying you should also have your prostate double-checked. On a positive note, you're probably off the hook about being outed because of venereal disease, and there's no blame for the above mentioned ailments, however painful. Good luck to you, sir.

Hey Dbldowndon, congrats on passing ur std test.
It could also be a back injury or injury in the pelvic area or injury to an abdominal muscle etc. A nerve could be pinched in any of those areas, or inflammation of a nearby muscle could be radiating to the genitals. There are nerves in the lower mid/upper lower back for the genitals so you could have pinched a nerve there which might make you feel pain in your genitals.
I suppose you could have a hernia also.
You could get an ultrasound of the genital area, make sure there is no cyst or something, varicose veins, etc. An ultrasound could do that.
Be sure to let us know how you fare! No doubt there are other guys out there avidly reading your posts as they attempt to self-diagnose on the internet.
I am so disapointed in the medical profession in general. They give us sloppy treatment, charge an arm and a leg, and don't really answer our questions or treat us with dignity and respect.
That being said, if the dr says don't worry, it's nothing, after you do all your tests, hey, you have some type of change in your body but it does not correspond to the most common human ailments, so don't worry about it!
Still feel anxious?... go fuck a ho bareback to take the edge off.

I'm more than a little concerned for DD. His first post sharing his plight showed some real stress he was feeling. Although this last post of 12/10 was more optimistic, he has not posted since then. Also, he has not replied to two PM's that I sent him, which is very uncharacteristic of DD. Finally, if you look at his profile, he has not logged on since that 12/10 posting, which is not at all like him. I've shared info. back and forth with DD in PM's over the last couple of years and have found him to be a really good guy, so I'll be much relieved if he comes back on board to indicate all is well.

Hey i too heard and private message the guy as well. Still no return and i have personal feeling he is worried as hell like anyone else in the situtation and does everything he is told by a doctor and the tests as well. I think maybe it has alot to do with over exercise and he has a heart probs before too ! So this might be a diff matter altogether in the long run, plus we do have support for him. Go to a health food store or vitamin store and tell them that your wife has a yeast infection. Find some tablets to remove yeast and start taking them 3 times a day. In the meanwhile, cut out beer and bread, pizza and other items with yeast.

Give it 10 days and you should be OK. Let us know how you are doing.

First, I truly appreciate ~ more than you can believe, the support of you guys on the forum. Here is where I am now:

I have seen two doctors, and while my tests have proven negative (15 days after possible exposure), both have said that it is inconclusive. I may not have an STD, but I need to be tested again 3 months after the fact. One doctor says I may have strained something internally. The pain finally stopped New Years Eve. Shit, this has been a REAL cause of nerves, lack of sleep, and worry. I don't remember lifting anything really heavy or straining myself, so who knows? I did help someone move some appliances around this time and some exercises, so I hope that was the problem.

I guess like Truman said, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." For the past month, I sure don't want to experience this type of heat again, that's for sure.

Dudes, be CAREFUL out there. I have always been careful, and still am very nervous.

All the very best for the New Year.

Traditional condoms cover the penis only but not the pubic area, so can not effectively isolate the body fluids. This condom has an attached skirt at the base to also prevent HPV and other skin to skin transmitted STDs.

Most of the time, when doing any kind of bear back action, bacteria is the main threat.
......

Also, if you can eat 2-3 cloves of raw garlic after a possible exposure, the discharge in your urinary stream will take on a whole new antiseptic property, which usually neutralizes foreign bacteria in the urethra.

you will have even more protection (e.g. stinky mouth = no action) :)

Unfortunately these condoms are made in China. Which means they are made of melamine and pig shit. Seriously though, most of my experiences have been the massage HJ type, occasionally I have partaken in FS. In my opinion most of the time you get more out of the massage and HJ, or Russian if it is on the menu, than the FS. Take apartments for example, usually its a 5 min lame ass massage followed by them snapping on a condom that feels like it is made out of industrial grade rubber. I wonder were they get their condoms from, they appear extremely sturdy but quite insulating when comes to feeling anything. I think I could touch the third rail of an L platform with my wang wearing their condoms and not get electrocuted.

Anyway the bottom line is if you are going to participate in either FS or oral, covered is a necessity. Even if there is only a slight chance of getting something, who needs the worries, embarrassment or anxiety afterward. Sometimes your mine can play tricks on you. A mild allergic reaction to a new soap or muscle pull after uncovered oral, becomes an std in your mind.

P.S.
To the person who in the past on another string posted about how he believes he got HPV or Chlamydia from a massage/HJ, please save it. A HJ is about as safe as you can get while still being in the same room with the women. Unless she has swine flu that is.

Looking for help here...You didn't think in your wildest imaginations or nightmares that I would ever find this forum or your post about this shit right here. LOL

Never underestimate the power of the internet or my late night cruising the web and found this. LOL

This in my HO opinion was a very sneaky back alley way of dealing with this.

The mere fact that you came to this site thinking I would never find it and you posted your cry and plea for help is laughable. You are a emotional junkie *****. And the emails I have will prove it!

I can only assume that in your effort for advice here when the gents emailed you about who it was you gave it up, named me.

And if not well here I am, it was me he is referring to. I am outting myself here and have no worries about it. This was pathetic from the jump.

My name is Sherry and I am a long time provider, over 20 years. I was at one point a SW here in pdx. Did the travel thing and have been in many different states. Citys, never once did I ever get a std from a client or give one to them. Everything is covered at all times. I don't even like to give HJ's without a cover. I do not comprimise my health for a few extra dollars. Meaning never do I ever give bb anything.

I know why you got scared and as the title says: Tell the whole story or I will.

The reason I believe you think you may have got something from me is when we did try to do FS after you inserted and started to pull out the rubber slide off inside of me and stayed there until I pulled it out of my pussy. Your penis was completely out and far away from my pussy when you noticed the slip of the cover. At no time did your penis ever make contact with my pussy without the cover on.

And for those of you who might think that because the condom slide off inside of my tight pussy he now has the reason to think I gave him something, LOL think again. Like I said at no time did his ding-a-ling touch my nana uncovered.

I suppose he also would assume that because of my prior history of being a SW that makes me more likely of a std poster child? LOL

Ohhhh you handled this poorly Don.

Crazy Jim Wood ~ I emailed her first off and she went ballistic! I was very nice and suggested she get tested. She said she does and "just because you had a drip, you're freaking out." No drip. Told her the three other tests were negative.

Still no report back. The one with small kine tattoos on arms and back. If so, yeah fast drinker. Don,

Your attempt to gain sympathy here is so pathetic. I didn't go ballistic. I told you the truth. Harse truth but, the truth.

I have read these posts by you and the responses. Gee Don it seems as though your fellow pooners are repeating the same exact statements as I did when you first tried to put the blame on me for your penis issues.

Everything is in email of our conversations on this subject.

The suicide threat made by you in your initial email telling me you thought you had a std is what started this whole scene off on the wrong foot with me. I don't do suicide threats for guilt!

Because you weren't gaining sympathy from me and your overwhelming feelings of guilt lead you here? Ok whatever dude.

I see a few men have stated almost "verbatum" of what I had said to you in our emails.

It is nice for others to have the whole story and not half. Coward. You came here to report this because you never thought I would be able to refute what you are saying. LOL think again.

Most STD's can be treated medically. There are even medications for herpes. My fiancee is Korean & in the past worked at AMP's for 14 yrs . She was successfully treated for most including syphylis.

Be safe.

First: I do not have an STD.
Second: I NEVER mentioned a name to anybody.

I most sincerely apologize for the drama I brought to the board and to this woman. When a doctor told me that I more than likely had an STD of some sort, I panicked, plain and simple. This was compounded by the fact that I had incredible genital pain. When firsts tests came back negative, he even had me retested. Scared shitless, I made horrid decisions. I am truly sorry.

After seeing three doctors and having thousands of dollars worth of tests, it was discovered that I have nerve damage that affects my genitals. The pain mimics that of some STDs, but one doctor told me that reason he knew I didn't was an STD was that the pain lasted so long. Only recently has it started to subside.

It's humiliating and humbling that so many people have heard from me at my very worst.

Once more, I apologize; especially to Cherryxoxoxo.

You're going to marry Korean a girl who worked as a Full Service massage provider for 14 years.Agent61,

I'm not offended. People change. My fiancee is no longer working in an AMP. In fact if she had not been honest and told me I likely would never have known. Unless some one else in her past appeared one day and told me. I know her as a successful local Korean business woman. What she did once, even if it was many years of full service & BBBJ's, is not what she does now. Actually she's very conservative. My friend and soon to be wife has told me of several of her "friends" from the past, some whom worked as long as her, who subsequently married American's with no mention of what they did before. The guys have know idea. In fact I've begun to realize that many divorced from American Korean females in their late 30's or in their 40's (especially one's formerly married to ex-GI's)have likely at one time or another worked at an AMP. Also I'm very happy to hear that Dbldowndon does not have a serious STD. The diagnosis sounds unusual. Possible reactivation herpes zoster was what I was thinking but if all is well I am happy for him. To all stay safe. You may never know that the woman you are with has been with several thousand other guys before you, unless she's honest, which is likely not going to be the case.

It takes a nice wake up call to make you realize what truly matters in life. Fortunately you made your realization without ever catching anything. I caught the clap and although i caught it fairly early and didnt experience the full symptoms, it was embarrasing enough to make me want to drop the lifestyle. As much as I do visit the board and as much as i do get the urge every now and then, like a crack addict who needs his hit, I think back to those 2 weeks of medication and fear that I gave it to my SO.

I thought I'd post here, just to weigh in.

I have no social skills. I am 24 years old and have never had a girlfriend or been on a date and still have not kissed a girl.

After graduating from college, I did get a good job in engineering with a high salary. So, about 10 months ago I decided that 23 years was long enough and experimented with 'providers.' I had sex with three escorts and accepted a few HJs/BJs from strippers and massage girls.

Everything I did with the escorts was with a condom. No bare-back anything.
I recieved a BBBJ one time from one stripper and some brief bare oral teasing a couple times from another.

Well, I think I have contracted herpes. I have a spot on my lip which has now broken out three times in the same place. This is usually accompanied by a sore throat as well. I won't know for sure until I am tested, but I have read descriptions about cold sores and it matches my symptoms exactly: A tingling red spot which develops into a blister after about a day.

I now believe that this is far riskier than most of us like to think. I dabbled lightly in the hobby for less than a year and have already gotten a life-long infection.

I know that some guys on these forums are much more active than I, and participate regularly in bare oral activies, both giving and recieving. I have a difficult time believing that they haven't caught anything. I even have my doubts about those who closely practice safe techiques. Condoms are not 100% effective and I now think that a "frequent-flier" who stays on the safe side will still catch something.

Hey hon;

You may not believe it; but, you could've gotten herpes years ago. From the sound of it, you play safe; so unlikely. People that have it can (usually) only pass it on when they have an outbreak.

Have it tested, rather than going on what boards say, k? Or, being fearful & skeered; for having a b. S., that is NOT how scientific method goes, eh?

If you were not dinning at the Y how did you get it on your lip? STDs that a rubber does not protect you against tend to be skin to skin contact. If you received a BBBJ it will not show on your lip. If you ate her out that is another thing, if your were Kissing them could be herp 1 but that anyone can get. Until you are tested you never know. I had some scares myself turned out to be nothing. Your mind plays a lot on that.

Herpes is a virus that can infect any mucous membrane (think oral, genital or anal). Herpes simplex I and II while preferring oral and genital in that order, can infect any of the membranes mentioned. Yes, once you get it, it inserts its DNA into your chromosomes, and you have it for life.

About 80% of the population has oral herpes, and 25% has genital herpes. We are more likely to know the source of our genital infection. Lesions can appear on the outside (fever blisters, cold sores, etc) or on the inside (sore spot on the tongue, etc). Oral to genital transmission is relatively common, tho proper use of condoms are effective protection for a date giving a BJ.

If there is a good news item, the severity of flair ups seems to decline after the first VERY painful and uncomfortable infection.

HappyDave's post is a list of the worst case scenarios for transmission (it even suggests oral transmission of HIV for where there is almost no convincing evidence. But see note below about Herpes and HIV.)

Yes--this hobby carries its risks, and activities need to be within risk boundaries you are willing to accept. Herpes is an annoyance, but hardly life threatening. Clap and syphilis are dangerous, but (to this point) treatable. HIV is a whole different story. BTW, Herpes lesions may well make you more susceptible to HIV infection.

It goes a long way to
1) judge the cleanliness of your 'date', (Hey--if she has sores on her mouth or especially giner, turn her out!),
2) keep yourself clean,
3) thoroughly wash up after the date, and be aware of signs of STDs.

Accept the (even minimized) risks or give up the hobby.

Well, I am going to get tested this week.

I will say this -- The sores I had were relatively painless, not much different than a regular pimple or ingrown hair. I am still convinced that it is herpes though.

I actually visited with an escort around the last day of January. As I said in my first post, I have never kissed a girl and so I asked this one if I could. She said okay, but I didn't really even count it because she wasn't very responsive and kept her mouth closed. The whole thing only lasted 5 or 10 seconds. I thought that I had experienced symptoms before this, but I now think that it is how I contracted the disease. I guess I literally "asked for it."

Here is a report on Herpes Simplex 2. Aka genital herpes.

http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/03/10/genital.herpes/index.html?hpt=T2

Here is the most shocking part:

"Women and African-Americans have the highest rate of genital herpes infections. According to the study, one in five women is infected with the herpes virus. The infection rate was almost twice as high among women -- nearly 21 percent -- than among men, at 11.5 percent.

For African-Americans, the prevalence of infection was 39.2 percent -- more than three times that of whites, at 12.3 percent. Black women are most affected by the disease, with an infection rate of 48 percent."

In fact, statistics show that people with herpes are two to three times more likely to get HIV if exposed.

Just to bad that these STD's keep mutating and ruin our fun :(

"Gonorrhea may become untreatable

Gonorrhea may become untreatable as the improper use of antibiotics reduces the body's ability to clear the sexually transmitted infection, the World Health Organization said Thursday.

There is now "widespread resistance" to cheaper first-line antibiotics against the bacterium that causes gonorrhea, the WHO's Western Pacific regional office said in a statement. The agency said Australia, Hong Kong and Japan have reported treatment failures with cephalosporin, a class of antibiotics that is the last line of defense against the disease.

Left untreated, gonorrhea can result in infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, infections in newborn children and swelling of the scrotum.

Wan't to remind that STD's are not only confined to the genitals. My girl friend an ex worker at an AMP has contracted GC orally by BBBJ's. I once got it from her because she likely didn't wash well enough after having BBFS with a custermer minutes before. Like a bad sore throat. Gonnococcal pharygitis.

CSD500 is a condom that incorporates an erectogenic compound to help men maintain a firmer erection during intercourse whilst wearing a condom. A pharmacological dose of Glyceryl Trinitrate gel contained within the teat of the condom will be delivered to the penis. This has been clinically proven to increase local blood flow within the penis which in turn leads to increased firmness, increased penile size and longer duration of an erection.

The product will be sold throughout Europe by Durex® in the same way as conventional condoms, classified as a Class III medical device with an ancillary medicinal substance.

So I've been dabbling in this hobby for a while now, usually just HE's at the parlor, but on a recent trip I got a CBJ. The provider asked if I had a condom and when I said no she left and came back with a square of saran wrap or clear garbage bag. She performed about 5 minutes of oral then cleaned me up. I went home and showered immediately, but the next day I was having discomfort and felt like the the head of my penis was warm and maybe redder than usual. After a few days that subsides, but I can't tell if I'm urinating more often than before and if I'm just more conscious or my genitals due to anxiety. Two weeks after this I decide to go to a clinic and get checked out, I tell them of my experience and they do a visual examination and tell me everything is fine and a full blown test would be a waste of time and money. Now right after visiting I have a discomfort on the side of my penis. It seemed to last two days and felt like a dull pain, but it didn't really start until right after I left the clinic. I was told there was practically no risk in what I did yet I'm crazy paranoid. I've put off sex with the wife due to my paranoia so I guess I'm just wondering could anxiety be causing all this?

I went through that after my first visit to an amp, std's take some time to show. If it was the next day it may have been you just irritated some thing. I have gotten what the Dr called honeymoon it-es and it was just a general irritation from to much activity not an STD. The mind does play games though.

1) Almost no STD has symptoms that show up the next day. Irritation definitely does. And the treatment you got, irritation would be expected.
2) Irritation causes inflammation: red, hot and swollen.
3) Subsides after a few days. STD would generally get WORSE after a few days.

The treatment was too rough for the little head. A plastic garbage bag is way too stiff and hard for the head of the penis...
I am surprised that a massage parlor would not have a case of condoms! By the same token, heavier plastic offers better protection. So I agree that the harsh treatment you got DID in fact probably protect you from any STD. HOWEVER, the abrasions you got would make you more susceptible to HIV should you be exposed to that virus...

Hi Mongers,

Just wondering if anyone here does a mouth check like I do before BBBJ basically looking for cuts, sores, overall hygene? The girls never seem to mind it but Ive asked a few and there like "no ones ever asked". I usually will CBJ unless I do a mouth check. If I see like "meth mouth" I definatey wrap up. Just wondering what the board thinks thanks.

Most likely the girl sees quite a few people daily and she could be transferring STD's before the symptoms even show up which usually takes at least a week. 70% of people with gonorrhea or chlamydia in their mouth have no symptoms at all, so they might not even know they have it. You can also get herpes from someone with no visible outbreak. I don't know why anyone would do BBBJ or unprotected DATY, If you have a cavity or you scraped your gums while brushing your teeth etc. It would be so easy to get HIV. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't been able to find any info about it, and I'm wondering if I will need to waste the money on a test to get some piece of mind, given so many can have it w/o symptoms.

A 16 year old friend just found out she has genital herpes. It is so sad because she has only had intercourse once, that happened when she was 14 and she insisted that the 16 year old neighbor wear a condom before penetrating her. She cared nothing about the guy but let him talk her into doing it because she was curious as to what it would be like. It was a terrible experience for her and she decided she did not want to have intercourse again until she was a grown woman. She got naked and lay on the bed. He got naked, hard and had to put on a rubber because she made him. Then he climbed on top of her and with no foreplay, stuck it in and thrusted a couple of minutes and came. She said it was not pleasant at all. Then about a month later he comes to her crying because he has found out he has genital herpes. She felt safe though because she thought by making him wear protection she was ok. She did not realize condoms don't protect 100% from herpes. Now she is devistated. She says she only had intercourse once and used protection but still had that happen.

B/c CDC and various state and fed laws require testing center/MD to be able to get back ahold of u, to prevent contagion.

Don't hold that as fact. Look-up. Why not search the state laws where you reside? And, the public health dept can do tests also. Even though you may not qualify income-wise, they are also required to do tests upon patient demand/request.

If put urself in an MD's shoes, would know there are reasons for this. On the other hand, they would also be required to KEEP your records private. They would only report to CDC /state, age, sex, results of test(s) for the data base. They would NOT phone your home.

Relax, get whatever test you need, and be treated. Since have to be 18 y-o to join this site, that is what adults do, ne se pas?

Regards,

Sall

Is this a response to my post? Anonymous testing is very real deal. A lot of people don't want to just run to people that they know for such a sensitive test. There is also the real risk of your insurance company dropping you for just requesting the test no matter the results. Anonymous testing is done all of the time - I just want to find a reputable center and be smart about it.

At AMPs, when they give you a TS, they ask you to lie down, naked, face down, on a foam mat. Kind of grosses me out to be laying the boys down right where some other boy's boys have been, probably just a few minutes before. They do rinse it off first, but still. The warm, wet conditions would seem perfect for various fungus, bacteria, and viral particles to remain viable between visitors.

Next time, I'll just ask to be washed standing up. Anyone else made this request at an AMP? How did they respond?

Not going into the safety aspect to much on it but how many guys out there has worn a condom this way. I have heard some guy say that you get more feeling this way? I've read as far as HIV goes that if the head is covered and there is no nicks in the skin your safe. Not saying that you couldn't get something else but that is something I read. I'm one of those guys who personally hate to wear they but if wearing just on the head gives me dome protection and I still get the feeling I'll go far it.

You don't have to get a table shower, in fact, in many cases you are paying slightly extra for a table shower. Sometimes I refuse the shower, especially in winter when it is kind of cold, or if I don't want to go home smelling of soap. Usually, the masseuse will rinse the table / mat off before you lie down on it. However, I think there is little concern about this. Especially an Asian place (Korean) they are extremely clean people. However, it never hurts to check the towels a little, make sure they are changed. However, they usually put down a fresh towl in front of you. But I think either way it is more a psychological thing with little danger from picking up a disease.

So. If such a high number is infected, and don't notice, because they have no symptoms. Seems to suggest the virus is becoming less and less of a problem as it becomes more and more widespread. Viruses are adapting to overcome our defenses and to cause less harm to us at the same time. Basically herpes / colds are same thing. So. Eventually this diseases will not be a cause of concern in humans and all of us will have it.

The infection rate was almost twice as high among women. Nearly 21 percent. Than among men, at 11. 5 percent.

For African-Americans, the prevalence of infection was 39. 2 percent. More than three times that of whites, at 12. 3 percent. Black women are most affected by the disease, with an infection rate of 48 percent."

In fact, statistics show that people with herpes are two to three times more likely to get HIV if exposed.

Well. Two days of intermittent pissing blood (maybe all together a thimble-ful of blood, but when it comes out your cock that seems like a lot). I have been drinking gallons of water each day. Also a painful right testicle and sensitive flank (right abdomen, from bottom of ribcage (top of love handle) to the hip bone front and back) occasional shooting pains. Cloudy urine. Oh, yeah, and burning on urination.

No puss, no drip. No fever or other signs of infection.

I have been seeing doctors on and off for 2-3 years now for some of the symptoms (especially the tenderness of my right flank and right testicle). They happily take my money but never provide an explanation. However, after looking at all of the symptoms together, it seems kidney stones is the best possible diagnosis. It certainly has felt like I was passing something the past few days. I have also checked out the equipment with a little self servicing, ejaculate looked just fine, copious amounts, etc. And it is only my right side (if it was a systemic infection you would expect both sides).

But if you tell a doctor burning when you urinate, even if they can't find signs of infection, they want to diagnose you with an std and give you penicillin and have you tell your so, so she will get tested, of course find nothing, and then be treated anyway.

So, just say no to bullshit diagnosis by doctors. They are happy to put you through the indignity, and the damage to your relationship (s) and wallet, without knowing what the fuck they are talking about.

Kidney stones. Trauma to the urethra during sex. I think these things increase as we age. If you are in this lifestyle, don't tell your doctor, don't give them the easy out that "oh it is an std". It will ruin your personal life and finances, and will prevent you from finding the real problem.

BTW, kidney stones are no joke, but they are also not that bad. Probably a lot better than having a tube shoved down your dick by a fat-fingered urologist. Especially in rural areas, doctors SUCK! They put you through machines, tests, etc, charge you an arm and a leg, but have no common sense.

Make them work, to find the real cause of a urology issue, if there is no positive test result for an std, do not accept an std diagnosis!

Iodine, Pathogen Killer Extraordinaire.

http://healthyoldcodger.com/

As far back as 1905 Iodine was recognized as a treatment for consumption / tuberculosis. Even though Iodine has been recognized as having the ability to kill most pathogens on the skin within 90 seconds, it has been ignored by modern medicine for all that time, does not that tell you something? Going even further back to the American civil war, Iodine was used extensively for treating battlefield wounds and with much success, in fact, without Iodine many more soldiers from both sides would have died from wound infections, no antibiotics back then.

"Iodine is by far the best antibiotic, antiviral and antiseptic of all time." Dr. David Derry.

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/ciencia_iodine01.htm

Nascent Iodine is a scientific term for iodine where the iodine molecule has the diatomic bond broken and has a high amount of electromagnetic energy associated with it.

Once diluted and inside the body this atom is readily absorbed and utilized by the body. This charged atom of iodine starts a process where it gradually loses its energy over 2 to 3 hours. After the atomic iodine has made its rounds, whatever then remains and is unable to be used is excreted in the urine. The urine will turn bright yellow from the excess, similar to what happens with water-soluble B-vitamins that the body doesn't need.

"The atomic iodine is perhaps the least toxic and least irritating of all the iodine formulas available."

"Iodine has many positive therapeutic actions. It is a potent anti-infective agent. No virus, bacteria or parasite has been shown to be resistant to iodine therapy," writes Dr. Brownstein.

This is an incredible statement but one that can easily be backed by hardcore medical science. It is the reason hospitals use iodine by the gallon and in reality the only reason hospitals are not like ground zero sites contaminated in an infectious sense is because of iodine's broad spectrum anti-infective power.

Few are the doctors who have realized that iodine can be taken internally in large quantities and that it will have the same effect internally as it does on external surfaces.

There has been a lot of commotion in health circles about a product called Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS). It is being advertised as the answer to AIDS, hepatitis A, B and C, malaria, herpes, TB, most cancer and many more of mankind's worst diseases.

The claim about how the chlorine (a poison, not what would be considered a mineral for health) interacts with pathogens is the same claim we can make about iodine (a safe nutritional mineral) , which is known to also kill pathogens of all types on contact.

Plantar warts on the bottom of the feet can be killed by soaking them in water for a few hours. This seems to drown them. It will then take a few weeks for them to peel off and be replaced by new skin. I wonder if this would work on genital warts.

Can a man have an STD without any symptoms?

A doc says if have no symptoms there is really no need to test, except for HIV which can hide without symtoms.

What about other STDs?

Also, how is test for STD performed? Heard of one test just drawing blood, and another test where q-tip swab is inserted in penis. Anybody know about this?

The STD blood test is called a VDRL and is done by adding a latex based reagent to a blood serum specimen. The mix is rotated for 5 minutes then read against a positive and negative control samples. The test is for syphilus and gonnorhea but not for HIV, HSV2 or other bacteria. Stage 1 syph shows as a painless chancre sore on the cock but has no symptoms in stage 2. In stage 3 its nearly too late and neurological damage occurs that can cause insanity.

BTW- hepatitis B is the most common STD and can be tested using Radio Imuno Assay methods. Symptoms of HBSag2 include jaundice to the eyes, malise, and possible spleenomegaly. That is why you need to always use condoms, even for bjs. Nearly 80% of asians are positive for HBSag2. Many lab techs get it from smoking or eating in the lab.

Some warts may come and go spontaneously. I would need to see a published report that soaking plantar warts in water 'cures' them.

I do not know about papilloma genital warts in terms of spontaneous remission. THis seem the most likely explanation of water soaking 'curing. ' I would recommend getting the advice of a physician.

While I do not think genital warts pose a great risk to males (an inconvenience, and a mark of 'contaminated' partners in the past) , to women, they can cause uterine cancer (especially strain 18) , and if you give it to your partner, they will be PISSED.

Protection is the name of the FS game. I do not know that oral transmission is significant.

Here's a web site with some info. "Confidential" means they tell EVERYONE. They report results to local government for statistics. They release the information to anyone YOU authorize. Yes, that means when you apply for certain jobs and health insurance, that little waiver you sign, that means all those individuals will now see your confidential test results.

So the real meaning of "confidential" is "almost anyone". Go for annonymous. That means you can put "George Bush" or "Barrack Obama" down as your name on the test, and no one checks I'd.

The only way you can really protect your privacy is by not giving the tester any true identifying information, because confidentiality does not mean what you think it means.

They report results to local government for statistics. The information reported for statistical purposes is diagnosis, region, age, gender, and ethnicity. It would look something like this: "white male, 25, Santa Clara County, CA, herpes simplex II." They don't include names in this data, only broad general information that can be used to observe trends.

Thanks for the link. It is worthy of a followup.

While it is plausible that the papilloma virus that causes uterine cancer (esp strain 18) can cause throat cancer, more specific evidence is required before we are convinced. The defenses against infection are much more potent in the mouth than the vagina (and especially the anus has lower defenses...). The markers on the surface of genital versus oral cells to which virus attach (required for infection) obviously vary. Length of exposure of the tissue to attacking virus is obviously longer in the vagina (and rectum) than the mouth.

Note the sensational tone of the opening paragraph. While this does not mean the article is BS, it should be viewed skeptically. MORE cancer than tobacco? A credibility flag goes up. Show us the data. Also, I do not want to implicate the gender of the researcher in t he study, but she may have her own gender issues?

This is an area ripe for research. Meanwhile, if you have genital warts, it is important for YOU to get them treated and to use condoms to protect the provider. Mongers may not have a reputation for caring for the health of providers, but they SHOULD. "What goes around comes around."

Finally, possible transmimssion is probably greater for male to female than female to male. Any monger that eats at the "Y" should know the risks (even more likely with gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Candida, and syphilis). So far, evidence suggests that HIV is very unlikely to be transmissible orally.

Giani

Men have a huge advantage here because the slurface of the penis is much more easily cleansed than inside the vagina (DUH).

Soap and hot water, SOON after the act, can remove the large majority of bacteria and viruses, provided that there are no breaks in the skin (I. E, pre-existing sores or abrasions caused by "rough sex." "Rough sex" means any sexual activity that roughens up the skin, including oral that is too intense.)

Peroxide is a relatively weak antiseptic. We tend to like it because it does not sting. But many bacteria have the ability to inactivate it (catalase) , so it works poorly against them. It probably could be of minor benefit, and little harm.

Not so sure about the need to disinfect prior to removal of condoms. The rim, head and urethra are the most susceptible to infection, and are well protected by properly used condoms. Outside the condom, the skin around the base of the penis should be highly resistant to most STDs, unless broken by sores or abrasions. However, did you shave just prior to sex? You may have a problem because "shaver burn" compromises the protection of skin.

How about, in addition to condoms, carrying clean towels and a thermos of hot soapy water. Before cruising, filling a thermos with hot water and adding a dash of liquid soap would require no more than a few minutes.

Is on the verge of becoming a global health threat. In few months BBBJ and DATY could be out of trend! This can be more threatening than HIV. The new superbug strain of Gonorrhea is called H041. We will be the last generation to experience these oral tasks.

Have it safe! One reason it has got to this point is because of our shitty public health system.

It is more cost efficient to treat someone who may not have Gonorrhea than.

It is to test them to be sure that they have Gonorrhea. So public health providers have.

Been dishing out antibiotics over and over again to people who didn't need it in the first place.

Best thing to do if you enjoy barebacking is to not bareback girls who barebacks males from a low economic community.

These small and isolated outbreaks of resistant gonorrhea, LGV, and HIV all have one thing in common: they spread like wild fire in low economic communities.

Reason being is that poverty limits distance you can travel to find sex partners.

If you have 5 chickens in a box and 1 has fleas, all of you chickens are going to have fleas by the end of the day.

If you have 5 chickens on an 1sq. Mile farm and 1 has fleas, it's going to take a while for all of them to get infected.

And oral gonorrhea is pretty rare. This one normally clears up on it's own and is only a real threat if you are already immunocompromised.

Sadly, I've never seen a case of oral gonorrhea in an adult in all my years working in healthcare.

It normally shows up in children after repeated abuse insures that the infection sets in.

Notice how the "outbreak" only happened in one area of the country: Westcoast.

And the vast majority of those infected fall into the group of men who have sex with men.

Keep in mind that these numbers are always higher!

The CDC never factors in the # of people who choose NOT to get tested and those who can't get tested (specifically the nation's prison population).

For those who still believe this is the zombie apocalypse of the sex world

I will be able to provided better details on how providers are handling the treatment of this tomorrow.
