Those rates are a load of crap. She'll probably still hit it for $.5 but advertises more. There are a boatload of asians around for under $.5 so skip it and go elsewhere... at least 3 houses advertising all the time at $.6 or less...

For those of you that are concerned about the "BB" aspectof this post please forget the lecture and focus on the price quoted. "To Cover or not to cover is up to you.", the price quoted seems very low for ANY service, and I would like to know if this is a real no bullshit price.

sounds like you are the CL consumers trying to put all the good independents out of business so your own places can do good. Probably you put up those huge prices to scare away her good customers.

I just reread yodaman and others quotes... these are the actual reasons that good providers eventually quit. Its because guys like Socal and Yoda want to talk junk about the girls and they have never seen them.

If, as you say in your rant to me, that Lemon has "become your friend" then I would have to question your judgement on a couple of levels...
First, providers are providers. 99.99% of the time they are not your future wife or your "dinner and a movie buddy". They are what they are... providers.

As to Lemon, her price is still the same 250. It hasn't gone up or done. I think her price is understandable based on Escort rates. Been to quite a few along Valley Blvd. Some strip malls have 2-3 of them because a massage license is not required. As these are in open seating areas, no extras to be had. Competition has driven prices down from $30-$40/hour to $15-$30/hour... If you've driven by a couple of massage joints on Colorado, one just west of Rosemead in the same complex as the Holiday Inn Express, it's legit - - albeit a GREAT massage and table shower from an older Japanese women (attractive too in a kinky older way), but doesn't seem to be the kind of place for extras. Also, I tried the one further east (across from Target just about) and same thing - - Japanese run, except this masseuse was very young (good massage although less experienced than prior) and no extras. NOTE - - I didn't even bring the subject up in these joints because it just didn't feel like the sort of places (have been in enough now that I think I have it down). Sunday morning- decided to hit this spot, GSS, and as entering, a very nice looking mamasan gives me the questioning. She leads me to back, and I await my provider. I get a K-girl, who is somewhat on the older side, who feels me out and then offers the menu. A funny thing happened at my favorite AMP in Arcadia the other night. You are in the heartland of SGV mongering. Many apartment complexes have multiple AMPs. Where I live in Rosemead, at one point there were 4 AMPS and 2 mamasans (live there only) out of 13 units. Now we're down to 1 AMP because the others have moved. I don't monger where I live, but have recognized and talked to girls I've known from elsewhere.

I used to see many Condo-AMP girls in SGV. Now I narrowed it down to a regular I see when I am out there. From day one I have had very good experiences with each one, never TOFTT. How is this you ask?
You need to hit one or more of the popular on-line review sites. There are 2 major sites that cover LA, that everyone on this board pretty much knows about and uses. Go to a search engine, and type in "message parlor reviews" or "escort reviews"+"Los Angeles" (don't do SGV because you will not get many hits)
You can pick out the AMP-girl and ask for the girl by name when you call. This way, you are less likely to get ripped off, and the papason will be more trusting thinking you had seen her before.

The woman was transported to the Los Angeles-County USC Medical Center, where she later died, the county Coroner's Office said.
Her name has not yet been released, pending notification of the next-of-kin, said coroner's officials.
No arrests were immediately made, officials said. Sheriff's spokeswoman Kerri Webb said the incident is still under investigation.
Witnesses said that the woman was naked while she ran from the condos before crossing Glendon Way to the Rosemead Inn.
Hotel workers said that she fell while clutching a lamp pole that stood on Rosemead Inn's property.
"I'm scared," she said at her home on Monday. "My mom won't let me go out of the house."
Neighbors who were staying across the street from the incident at the Rosemead Inn said they were awakened by police around 11 p.m. Sunday.
"The police asked us if we heard anything, but we didn't," said David Wohler, who was staying at the Rosemead Inn. "The only thing I heard was a siren."
Wohler, who has been staying at the hotel for several months, said the neighborhood was typically very quiet.
Police would not release information about whether there were other such serious calls for service in the neighborhood.

Sheriff's detectives released video from a parking lot near where a woman was stabbed to death June 17 and said the crime is linked to a December killing at Legg Lake in South El Monte.
The dead woman, identified as Yanshi "Lucy" Wang was stabbed to death and died naked and crying for help near the parking lot of a Rosemead motel.
The similarities of the two killings include that both victims were Asian women and lived in the same general area, officials said.
The first victim was identified as Gao Tianmei of San Gabriel. She was reported missing on Dec. 22 and her body was found Jan. 9 in a trash can at the eastern edge of the lake.

Body Found In Lake Was Missing San Gabriel Woman
(CBS) SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. Authorities announced the name of a woman whose nude body was found inside a trash can floating on Legg Lake in the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area.
San Gabriel police identified the victim as Gao Tianmei, who was reported missing on Dec. 22, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Pete Cachiero.
The body was discovered about 10:30 a.m. Jan 9 at the eastern end of the lake near South Santa Anita Avenue, according to the sheriff's department.
The cause of her death was not disclosed.
Anyone with information on the death was asked to call the sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.

ROSEMEAD, June 27, 2007 (KABC-TV) - Detectives have new information they're hoping will help solve the case of a woman stabbed to death in Rosemead. They're also looking into the possibility the same man could have murdered another woman.

Authorities at the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau in Monterey Park released surveillance video of the suspect.
In the video, you can't get a clear look at the suspect, but investigators are hoping someone out there saw the suspect torch a car and they're hoping that witness will come forward and identify him.
The killer of 43-year-old Yanshi "Lucy" Wang is still out there. Detectives have been on the hunt for the suspect since the gruesome murder 10 days ago.
It happened on June 17th just after 10:30 p.m.
Detectives say a man stabbed Wang inside of her Rosemead apartment. They say she staggered out of the apartment naked and crying. She managed to make it across the street to the parking lot of the Rosemead Inn, there she collapsed and died.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene in the victim's Toyota Corolla.
On Wednesday, detectives released surveillance video from a business parking lot in San Gabriel.
They say some three hours after the murder the suspect is seen parking the car and torching it.
"What you're gonna see is the suspect driving up into the location, parking right under the camera. You're gonna see a white van in the background which gives us a pretty good background in projecting him. He stays in the car for a little bit and then sets fire to the rear seat of the car. And then as the fire is glowing he walks through the glow, which kind of lights him up," Sgt. Brian Schoonmaker, of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, said.
The suspect then walked by the car and into the street and out of sight.
Detectives say they are investigating whether the same suspect could be linked to the killing of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a trash can dumped in North Lake and Whittier Narrows last December.
That victim is 26-year-old Mei Gao.
"We have two similarities in the December case and this one here, where both victims were female Asian, and they both lived in the same general area. Our first victim in December was from San Gabriel and that's about three miles from where our current victim was living," Sgt. Schoonmaker said.
Authorities need the public's help identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the L.A. County Sheriff's Department at (323) 890-5500.

Haven't been to "Jay's" for a while and off course they've moved to a new location off of Hellman and Alhambra. Last time I was there, they had a place off Chapel (and before that Newby). My personal experience at "Jay's" (several years) roughly 8/10 ladies in my humble opinion (I prefer asian, thin, large breasted, petite not over 5'6") are what I consider model/nightclub quality girls. Nina (most recent) definitely someone you'd see from a strip club or nightclub, if not hotter. Great body, not a single ounce of fat, flat stomach, no cellulite, no belly, no 12 pack, no stretch marks, no c-section scars. And yes, I've paid less, but I received less or should I say more: stomach, gut, cellulite, belly, stretch marks, and c-scars. Not to mention attitude. The other 2/10 ladies are your next door neighbor types in looks and body: I still wouldn't kick'them out of bed for spilling juice in bed.
Incidentally: there are several "Jay" type operation in the valley. I've tried the ones still advertising (C-list, LA weekly, TER, C-Vibe, asian newspaper) and some that don't advertise anymore. I've found that the happy medium between value and quality is about $. 6. When I've paid $. 2, the quality drops dramatically: what I got was someone in their early 30's, mommy scars (physically & emotionally), less enthusiasm, sometime I'd get an attitude, and less hottie-ness. Still do-able, but depends on MY wallet$ and inclination too. If I haven't nutted in a while, and the budget won't allow. Well it is what it is.
PS: I'd love to pay what BC pays and get the amount of ass. But my preference is asian, and not caramel. There aren't that many asians that will work for $0. 8 for a quickie. It's the market and the demand.

Yeah it was kind of wierd when I called a few places earlier today and no one answered or else they said no one was available. Then I picked up a copy of the tribune to TOFTT and saw the front cover article (took about half the page including 2 useless photographs). Funniest part was about 2 girls jumping out of 2nd story windows to escape.

"ROSEMEAD - An online sex ad sting led to 37 arrests, counterfeit money and at least one human-trafficking victim.
The arrests were made in Rosemead, Monrovia, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Monterey Park and unincorporated Pasadena. Charges included prostitution, keeping or residing in a house used for prostitution and operating a business without a business license.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department led the sting - "Operation Red Light" - which was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Given the large scale and multiagency personnel, I thought the operation went very smoothly," Sgt. Tri Hoang said as he was tallying up the final arrest numbers Wednesday.
Three teams out of the sheriff's Temple station were involved in the daytime sting, as well as police from Pasadena, Monterey Park, Alhambra and San Gabriel.
Each team was paired up with officials from the Immigrant and Customs Enforcement and the sheriff's vice unit, headed by Sgt. Mario Estrada.
"What I am really hoping for is helping people who are victims of human trafficking," Estrada said Tuesday before one victim was found.
Estrada said he seized two counterfeit hundred-dollar bills, which he will forward to the FBI.
The sting targeted prostitutes who posted ads online, including on the popular classified Web site, Craigslist.
The ads, which typically do not list specific locations, listed what cities the prostitutes worked out
of, how many "roses" - or money - they cost, and offered a description of their bodies. Some included pictures.
During the two-day sting, authorities called numbers that were posted on the ads, set up times to meet the women and met them at the location the women suggested.
Authorities discovered townhomes and apartments that served as brothels, complete with hidden condoms, dozens of rolled towels, Kleenex boxes, bottles of lotion and baby oil.
"Yesterday, we had a pretty good operation. There were multiple different scenarios," Hoang said Wednesday morning.
Two women at separate locations jumped out of second-story apartment complexes and escaped from authorities. About 32 of the people arrested were female.
Most of the arrests came from Rosemead, including a location that was under surveillance in the 3800 block of Rosemead Boulevard that netted five arrests.
In addition, authorities made arrests at massage parlors and in hotel rooms.
"The amount of arrests made in the last two days was not alarming," Hoang said.
Though prostitution is a misdemeanor crime, these types of stings are more dangerous than the traditional operations that target men picking up street-walking prostitutes, Estrada said.
"You never know who is hiding in the house or what the officer is getting himself into," Hoang said. "

There are some places that are well-known and I would expect to be busted along with the others. Unfortunately the folks in blue may not be finished yet. However, I suspect that many of the MMS are out looking for new digs and taking only old customers. I suspect we'll see different operations in the same apartments within a few weeks.

I was only able to frequent two or three of the 22 places. Oh the travesty of it all. Just think of all those young, firm, nubile, nimble, perky bodies...that I didn't get to try. Damn, I shoulda been a cop, they get paid to peruse the classifieds, checking out MP's and tug & rubs, getting nooky courtesy of us tax payers, then turn around and bust the hard working Joes and Janes.
Just reminds and encourages me that I need to go forward and get out there when the dust settles. I can't allow the LE's to have a better batting average than I! That would be the real travesty.

I'd imagine there are other codes that also apply, but I'd imagine this is close enough to answer your question.
Allover, I understand your irritation at the busts. I am cranky and irritable because some of fave places are out of business because the busts or because they are spooked about the busts.
But are LASD assholes? I don't agree. Over the years, they have shown remarkable restraint. This is not a department getting their kicks or making a PR move. This was a coordinated operation on 22+ locations with LASD, federal immigration, Alhambra PD, and Monterey Park PD (isn't Rosemead, San Gabriel, and Monrovia serviced by LASD?). Who knows what the real reason is. Perhaps they received incentives because:
1. They really were looking for sex trafficking for the feds who have made this a priority and whose estimates have been very overestimated.
2. The number of busts from other agencies citing Craigslist has gone way up. Google "Craigslist Prostitution"
3. It was Christmas last year when the murdered Chinese massage girl was placed in a trash can and thrown into Legg Lake
4. With the previous murder, add the Chinese AAMPP gal who was butchered in San Gabriel.
5. Perhaps they got wind of those two latino guys who have recently been going around SGV posing as cops and robbing AMP's.
For the most part, LASD has conducted raids of individual houses based on neighbor complaints. And most often because of greedy MMS who create too much traffic, too much noise, stay open too late, jealous girlfriends, jealous wives, etc. In some cases due to women being too visible by going out to greet and steal customers who are headed to other houses, standing in windows with hooker clothes, etc. Because of the difficulty of prosecution, it is usually "We want your business out of here, move to (insert any adjacent city besides the current one)." They don't go after the MMS too often or investigate their bank accounts, turn them over to IRS, etc.
They know where the places are. They do know that these are mainly 30-something year old women who get highly paid to perform a service and limit their illegal activities to just this and aren't a source of problems for narcotics, guns, gangs or serious crimes and for the most part are otherwise model citizens who rent or buy homes, buy nice cars, etc. So they tolerate things until neighbors complain or such operations become a nuisance, haven for crime or attract trouble.
As to the notion that a sting involving a police officer going by himself into a building and getting undressed not knowing who else is in the house, I think that is far more dangerous than when you have a bunch of cops in cars able to target one known guy in a street string. I'd find that reasonable.
As to the gals who got away. Yeah, it's a misdemeanor and perhaps the cops just weren't interested in chasing the gals down when they are dealing with having to secure a house or apartment or business...

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Twelve men and six women were arrested on suspicion of prostitution in an undercover sting targeting massage parlors in Los Angeles County, including in Beverly Hills, authorities said Friday.
The operation was conducted Thursday at four locations -- the 11100
block of First Avenue in Whittier, the 5700 block of Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles, the 2200 block of Lerona Avenue in Rowland Heights, and the 200 block of South Clark Drive in Beverly Hills, said Deputy Aura Sierra of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
Six women were arrested for prostitution along with 12 male clients, she said.
A 74-year-old woman identified as Woo Sub Yoon was arrested while leaving the location in East Los Angeles and taken to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Industry Station "for procuring person from prostitution", Sierra said, adding that Yoon was later released on bond.
The sheriff's Vice Detail of the sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau was assisted by investigators from the U.S. Treasury Department, Immigration Department, California Alcohol and Beverage Control and the Inglewood Police Department.

Two women were arrested in Glendale after vice officers spotted an ad promising "Lovely Asian girls want to make U very happy" on Craigslist.com, police said Thursday.
Li Feng, 52, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of prostitution, and Xiu Ju Wang, 50, was jailed on suspicion of assisting in an act of prostitution, said Officer John Balian. Their hometowns were unavailable.
The two are the most recent of at least a dozen arrests made by Glendale police over the past six months of women offering to sell sex via Craigslist, said Sgt. Tom Lorenz.
"It's out of control," he said. "But we're staying proactive so they don't get a foothold in Glendale."
Using the online classified advertising site, dozens of prostitution arrests have been made by police in Tennessee, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington, Rhode Island and other states.
Balian said on Wednesday evening, an officer called a phone number in the Craigslist ad and talked to a man who identified himself as Kenny. The man said he had women living in a condo in Glendale who would provide "full service" for $150.
An undercover officer, with backup officers hidden, arrived at the condo. After an offer of sex was made, backup officers swarmed the condo and arrested the two women, Balian said

I drove by there on Friday at around 12:00PM and there were no cars in the lot. Though I have never been there I always glance over when I drive by. This was the first time other than late at night that there was nothing parked in the lot.
It made me think immediately that they got raided.
