Hello, every one, this is my first post but I have been a lurker here for the past year so here was my day. Started out yesterday around 6:00pm, was on camelback heading east when I seen a thick BSW walking east bound on the westbound side crossing I17. So on to van buren made a right all the way down to 59th then another right at the truck stop to 51st then a left to mcdowell to 27th again to van buren then a left all the way to 52nd st. Nothing at all yeeeaaaaaa! So I decided to roll down vb one more time heading west. And finally right around 15th ave I seen her a LSW in some nice tight jean shorts and a tank top around 125 lbs probably 5'5. Made the loop she got in and off we went YES. just an FYI -- channel 10 news had a big segment on Phx LE and decoys on Bell Rd… around 35th Street (?). Apparently not enough "real crime" so they focus on this. They were busting "Johns" at 5 minute intervals. At any rate, they said theres a 30 day impound of your vehicle (automatic) and a visit to Tent city as well. For me, the risk/reward is just not there. For those that roll the dice - be very careful.
Did the standard drive Thursday night starting at 11:52 pm. Got on VB at 43rd Ave and trolled back and forth from there to 40th St.

I visited around New Year's Eve as 1996 turned to 1997 and it was like a parade going out VB. That was one of the things that convinced me to take the plunge and move out for good in '97. I'd lived and visited a lot of places (Chicago, NYC, Boston, Virginia Beach, Detroit) and never seen anything like the scenery in Phx.
Back around 2000 it really started drying up (IMO), and I ended up taking a job overseas a few years later. I still cruise the strip when I get home for a vacation, but I've never again seen it anywhere close to the way it was in the late 90's.
I had some fun times back then, although I also experienced my first (and only) robbery during the peak years. I tend to use the 'net much more these days, although I still enjoy taking a ride to see who's out for a walk.

I had an appointment on the East side of town this morning. I finished around noon and had an hour to kill before I needed to get ready for work. I used this rare opportunity to engage in some daytime trolling.

I drive mcdowell just about everyday in the late afternoon and haven't seen much except for a lightskinned BSW that I've seen get picked up a couple times before I can get to her. Just observations over the last few days:
-- There was a sting within the last few weeks. I heard about this after the fact. A local talk radio host had done a ridealong with Phoenix PD and apparently this host and a local TV station (I don't know which one) pointed out areas they targeted. McDowell from 27th Ave to 51st Ave. 27th Ave from McDowell to Northern. 19th Ave from McDowell to Bell. The radio host specifically mentioned arrests of 15 to 20 girls in the Sunnyslope area (19th Ave and Hatcher). All the drug dealers, pimps, crackheads, other assorted shady people left when the word was out that cops were around.
-- Apparently in the stings they start with cops going undercover trying to pick up and eventually arrest the working girls, then the next day have cops pretend to be street girls to solicit and arrest guys picking them up.
--Ironically, it's been more active on the streets lately, stings or not. Besides the areas mentioned above, I saw a good looking WSW? at 43rd Ave and Glendale yesterday early evening. Also a lovely LSW on 67th Ave and Indian School. Her black booty shorts were too short, some ass was coming out.

It's been a strange week for me. Two anecdotes.
Last Sunday I was outside talking with a neighbor when a nicely dressed woman came walking by. Black and white print dress, she walked by at a slower than normal pace. I thought. "new neighbor? " This is a residential area but also a major street which isn't too busy on weekends and evenings. Perhaps 20 minutes later, my neighbor had gone I was still outside taking care of some things and the same woman came walking back. Slowly. I was in Mesa Friday night driving around trying to use up the fuel in my tank before it went bad. I noticed a new 20-30 yo curly headed blonde girl wearing a checkered shirt with jeans one street west of the Circle K in the intersection talking to a guy on a bicycle. As I was doing a u-turn to get a better look, three unmarked cars turned their lights on, stopped and tackled the old guy off his bike. The police could be doing drug busts in that area.

Went crusing VB today looking for some SW action around 4:30PM. I'm an out of towner so I hit VB based on this message board. I started around 16th going towards 40th. Saw 2 potential LSWs that I would have considered on the return trip. Both were 3 or 4s on an SW scale. Before I got to 40th right past the cheap hotels I saw a BSW in wild looking bright dress. Was driving east on VB near 24th St yesterday after the parade and saw something from the backside that looked good. Came home from partying about 2:30am early Thursday morning, and decided to go for a couple hour cruise through PHX. Nothing all that much going on in the streets.
