They will never make it if they don't sell drinks. Drinks are a good portion of a strip club's money. Without it, they will be relying only on the cover charge from customers and the fees that they collect from dancers.Club has been open almost a year. They do see setup and sodas and charge $5 for byob.
Does anyone know if Lucy the young girl with the big naturals is still working at the GC?

Driving down Brooks Road this past week I noticed the sign at the Black Orchid said that is was reopening this past Thursday, July 16. I have not been there yet and have no info as to whether the owner is new, hours, or anything else.Black Orchid is back open. Went this past Saturday with a couple of buddies. Went to Epic yesterday. My go to was not there. My second string not there. Went to a different one. There is a new manager. Little tighter on the reigns I think. Could have been who I ended up with, but it made me work a little harder. Was offered takeout. Not really my type. Wasn't feeling it.
I am thinking I better be calling to make sure my fantasy team is not benched before I start the game. I guess dad was right. Some days it just going to be that way.

There is trouble in paradise. The plan is a no go at Epic. It has worked flawlessly for at least 2 years. It in fact has worked too well. The word in the street is it is too hot in there. Trouble rain clouds are coming.
I will let you know if I find another place to exercise the plan.

Not sure if it will last, but might be worth a look.Visited on the weekend. Seems like the old Pony crowd has lifted and shifted to this location. This is a restaurant floor plan converted to a club so a bit confusing. The staff is real nice and makes you feel relaxed. Very few girls the night I went in there and the DJ was drunk as a skunk so a few gaffes and opening night jitters I guess. All in all a nice addition and the location may be safer than the P so expect a mostly white crowd coming in after leaving the Electric Cowboy and white dancers. VIP is private enough and reasonable at $30 per song. As always YMMV with some of the dancers, but will go back for sure, the hard launch is Halloween.

Not a house mom. And she does have more rules for the dancers than most managers. When I get dances on her shifts, the dancers do seem to be a little less fun than normal.
I guess you could just get your dances when she is not there.

I went to the Purple Diamond with some friends tonight. The security guy patted me down, which was really gay. We walked inside and only saw 2 dancers. We only stayed for 10 minutes and left for the Gold Club.

While I was cruising around on Wednesday night I decided to take a quick pass around the old jet strip club. The lights were off but there will come a car parked out front along which I noticed a man standing by the entrance door. He appeared to be security. I asked him when the club was open and he told me would be open in two more weeks. I cannot wait to visit my old stomping ground. Looks like I might have to play hooky from work see if I can get mine groove in.

Have on good info the opening of the old jetstrip club will be on Nov. 20th. Understand there are flyers being passed out. They are suppose to have full liquor and champagne rooms. $200.
Also I understand a new club opened next to the gentleman's lounge club on Thomas. Think new club called Ecstasy. Some of the Epic girls went over there this past weekend.

From what she told me, there will be a soft opening on Nov 20th and a grand opening on the 27th. No cover before 11 and 2 for 1 drink specials. From what she told me, none of the dancers who used to dance there were allowed to come back. Also, none of the previous activities will be allowed. But you know how that goes. I'm sure there may be some take out available. There are flyers on twitter and instagram under the club name. Good luck fellas.

Thanks.Well, I can tell you at least this much after my recent experience there. The new purple diamond won't be that place for quite a while, if ever. They're feeding pretty heavily off the Cowboy crowd across the lot, so pretty much any time before 9 pm it's a ghost town. They aren't open during the day right now anyway.
GC is ok, but you'll probably work pretty hard for extras. A lot of the easy ones have been fished out or run off. The rest you really have to get to know before they'll do take out. You can get a bit more of a show pretty easily I've found, but that's about it. Pony might be a better shot.
And that sucks about Heather / Lucy. She wasn't advertising any more (and from what I heard got pretty mad if you mentioned it to her). I guess they just saw the old ads. Or somebody got pissed when she wouldn't go with 'them. Shame. She was a fun girl to get a dance from.

Five girls in the club so far. Got a possible 7 on looks and 10 on skills. Friendly but small club. Reminds me of candy land when they opened. Fresh faces and eager to please. Do need more girls. Management says he has more but will be in later as it is early.

Take out is available pm for more informationYou must have hit a good night. When I was there there was five ladies. Maybe one 7 rest 4/5. The VIP area was large room behind beads. Problem was it was just "stackable" chairs. There also was a pole there and any customer could sit back there.
Everyone was polite so that was a plus.
Good news. Scratch that. Great news! Epic has new management. Come on. There are a few new girls. The plan should be working again.

Epic has added a couple of couches / VIP area in the back. Next to door that used to go into the old wild VIP room.
It costs $10 to use the new area. This is per session. Dances are "$40", which we all know is the newbie club goers.
There are a few white / Mexican ladies who work at epic from time to time but not that often.
I did drop by Kittens (old jet strip). Set up is about the same. Being a new club they are expecting a visit from LEO soon.

Also 3/$50 is common. 4/60 depending on girl. The more dances you agree to the more they are willing to deal.
Last night they were saying $30 for reg VIP and $40 for the new back area plus $10 for house per session.
The pony and Gc are a little harder to get better than 2/1 unless you are spending at least $100.

Hey Guys, I thought I'd share my experiences real quick. I've been by Purple Diamond twice now, and like everything else there's some good and theres some bad.
Starting with the good, everything's clean and new (although you probably already knew that), the V. I. P. Is out of the way and private, and as far as I could tell no cameras. In return, the girls show a little more during the private dances than other strip clubs (in my experience anyways). Maybe the most important point, everyone was extremely nice.
Now for the bad, as people have already noted, you get a through pat down before you can enter. Personally, I don't mind it. I witnessed a stand off outside of The Pony a few years ago involving a man with a gun. As you can imagine, I view the increased security measures as a good thing, but to each thier own. The layout is a little awkward, but it grows on you. Both vists were a little dead. I guess the cliente hasn't taken off yet. My point being: if you want any kind of fun, it's going to be in the V. I. P. Not on the main stage. Also, there was a little confusion with the girls on how much they could show. One dancer actually asked what the girl before her did and showed during our private dance.
In short, I still prefer The Gold Club. I'm comfortable there, and there's more dancers. Not only more in number, but shapes and sizes and colors. I hope the Purple Diamond takes off, but I'm not holding my breathe. It does have one thing going for it, and that's the private dances. They show more.

Strip clubs are not my cup of tea but I recently visited two of them in hopes of possibly finding a pretty ebony spinner for some under-the-table lap dance action. Epic was dull and lifeless at around 10:30 on a Friday night. No dancers on the stage during the 20-30 minutes I was there. In fact, I saw only three dancers in the entire club. I've been to a couple strip clubs in Memphis and to be honest with you Memphis is not a strip club city. I've been to Cat Walk, Black Orchard off EBrooks and purple diamond. Most of the strip clubs in Memphis no longer sell extras out of them. The best one to go to is Catwalk the women are more down to earth and careless about you stroking their kitty. But will get offended if you solicit sex towards them. I hope this helps.

My friend was telling me he went there fairly recently (last 3 or 4 months) and had a good time. He recalled a thicker girl, but not at all fat, being very open and receptive. Private dances aren't the norm there at all, though they do have a private dance area that the dancer told my friend is under video surveillance that is fairly easily avoided. He recalled that he was one of the only lighter skinned people there, but it wasn't ever much of an issue. If your money is right you can DEFINITELY have a good time there. Just understand if you don't fit in demographics wise you might have to make the first approach on some of the shyer girls and private dances aren't pushed like they are at some of the paler establishments. Supposedly they were working on a 'real' private dance area like a champagne room or something, but it hadn't been completed the last time my friend went.
Also, my friend confirmed what others have said about the gold club and being more topless. Not all of the girls, but quite a few of them. He just hopes they don't experience any legal issues because of it. He claims it almost felt like a real strip club for a second when he first walked in and saw them hanging out. Almost.

Try the beef sliders and / or the NY steak. I would stay away from the chicken tenders because they had too much breading.

Alright, well I didn't intend to free load so that's fine. I hook a left into the dancing area. There are one or two poles in a room about the size of a large-ish living room. Maybe 6 or 7 guys on a Saturday night. Girl seemed to be going from one guy to the next dancing on them for a bit and then moving on to the next one. It seemed like the atmosphere was fairly liberal and could allow some fun to happen, but it didn't seem private at all and I didn't see any 'private rooms' so to speak.
As there were about 6 guys ahead of me and she seemed to be taking her time with each guy I decided not to wait my turn and the door fee was pretty minimal so I cut my losses. The dancer wasn't really attractive to me, but she wasn't particularly unattractive either. Dark skin and thin. Didn't seem uniquely talented, but hey I can't dance worth a damn either.
It's been a while so take it with a grain of salt, but unless they've upgraded or added some new dancers in the last few months I wouldn't go back.
I honestly can't recall if there was one girl on stage and one rotating from guy to guy or just the one girl rotating. Really not my cup of tea.
I'm not much of SC goer, but on the recommendation of a fellow member (thanks Uncle 41) I hit up 'Epic' on Brooks last year while passing through town, and dropped by again last night. Damn it was a fine time to be young! Hope Memphis opens back up and all you young studs gets the same experiences I had!

So I travel a lot and got a chance to visit Memphis. Hearing about the new rules, I did a bit of homework and went to the recommended Gold Club. I went commando, three condoms, $500 in cash, and piece of paper with my # (I don't bring my cell phone in the club). I showed up around 1 AM on a Thursday, the cover was $10 (no drinks).
Walking in, there were sofas and a stage to the left, two more stages down, little meeting rooms on the right, bar and restroom in the far back. The smell in the air was typical club, but the cigarette smell wasn't too bad / strong. Anyways, the middle stage had a tall brunette with big tits covered in fishnets dancing, and the other two had flat chested ladies (just not my type). Now I went and sat down on table near the middle stage so I could get a good view of the brunette.
Once I sat down, I was greeted by an Italian / Spanish lady which I'll nickname her as Naughty. Naughty appeared late 20's, good shape, C cups, good teeth and fun smile. I don't know what extras they do nor do I care or would spend $ at a club when you get some nice escorts for much cheaper. I was prepared with the condoms in case the situation presented itself, but not being from the area I didn't get far with a couple ladies which I would have preferred. I'm almost positive they have cameras on the "private" dances so the chances of needing a condom in there are next to zero, but I have heard of a certain low key spot where some shenanigans might happen from time to time. I was there about a month ago on a Sunday. They were telling me $150 for 15 min private dance. I think that is way too high. They say the club gets $50 (this also seems high but I'll take it as true) so then there is $100 worth of room to negotiate with the girl about what she wants to make. If they're working Sunday night they probably need the money and there won't be all that many chances to make it on Sun. Especially as it gets later. Be careful about committing to spending too much after negotiating, you don't want a "half assed" performance if she's got an attitude about not getting full price. Luckily I was there to see a dancer I know and got a fair price and had a nice time. Don't expect anything crazy to go on though, it is pretty tame. I personally like Purple Diamond much better; it's smaller, the staff is cooler, the beer is slightly cheaper, the VIP, though still mostly tame, is consistently cheaper with much more potential for fun. The VIP is more like cubicle booths and not as fancy or secluded as GC but it's never a problem for me because I only go at slow times. How much for a lap dance?I think that the standard quote is $100 for 15 min. It gets confusing when they start talking about deals and how many songs you get. I only want to talk dollars / min or x / hr. I once had new girl tell me $200 for 15 min, but she had a very high opinion of herself and I doubt that got her very far. I don't like it when it's crowded on the weekend so I stay away, but the place is small and I know all the girls, supposedly as many as 50-60, will come to work on Fri. & sat. So I have to believe that even though the place is quite busy, the girls are still willing to negotiate because there is so much competition. They only have one stage so the rotation to get up there might only allow them 2 turns all night, where else are they going to make money.
Be careful what you say to a girl in a club. Miscommunication lead to a bouncer almost kicking me out. If he had put his hands on me I wouldn't have known what would have happened.

I went to a club in Atlanta a couple months ago and wasn't turned away but I did get a couple bad looks and comments from the girls. I was the only white gut thereand I kinda stand out in a crowd. I'm 6'5 and country as grits. I have regulars at gc that I visit pretty often and wouldn't mind a change of pace.
