Clubking, trust me it was much needed.
Friday Night around midnight I drive up and down Summer and National, There were a few girls out nothing that just jumped out at me though. Had been down summer earlier in the day and saw a bunch of cops and 3 girls get arrested.
Decided for some reason to drive through the Trailer Park on Summer (only have driven through it one and didn't see anything) Ran into a 40ish Woman named Silvia (think that was her name) Long Brown Hair, Had a Body of a 30year old.

I was on Lamar about 9:00 yesterday morning. There were 3 wsws walking between Crown Inn and 78 Motel. One of them looked pretty good. She had brown hair wearing Khaki type pants with high heels. Well, legalized prostitution in Nevada did NOT eliminate street action. The brothels in Nevada were/are so overpriced that only folks who were pretty rich could afford to frequent them. Everyone else uses the "informal" sex industry just like everywhere else. I know, I used to live there. There are more SWs and escorts in Clark and Washoe county, the only two counties where prostitution is illegal, than "legal" girls in all the brothels in the state put together.
As far as the thugs, well, it is common knowledge that the Mafia ran the sex industry in Nevada from day one. It might be different now since I don't live there anymore, but somehow I doubt it. The reason is that the sex industry is the perfect venue for laundering money from suspect sources. Think about it, no matter how much of your "product" you sell, your "stock" is never depleted. Does magic on a balance sheet when you don't have to account for inventory coming in relative to "product" going out the door. And damn near impossible to track the paper trail, as all the girls are independant contractors.
Do it the way they do in Europe, it might work, but it will never happen here, too damn many prudes with their heads stuck in the sand.

There are lots of differences, some good & some bad.
Typically the biggest difference is that SW's don't come to you at your convenience. The price differential usually is because of the convenience factor. But everyone has their own opinions on this one and you can RTFF (yes, read the fucking forum) for many takes on this.
However, there may be one thing that isn't quite so obvious. For myself, I enjoy "the hunt" of SWs a tremendous amount. Usually a lot more than surfing the internet for a girl to show up in an hour. There's something that I find incredibly fun in scoping out an area, spotting a new SW, the pickup, the bartering, the parlay. The fact that it can fail as miserably as it can succeed at a moment's notice. The times I go home from a failed hunt make those times that I succeed with a brilliant new gem all that much more enjoyable.
But for a newbie to the SW scene, you should examine your own personality type and schedule (along with your wallet) to decide if you should stick with escorts vs. SWs. Ask yourself if you derive any fun out of looking for girls & bartering with them (with the possibility that you won't come to an agreement). Or do you just want to be sure that by 11:30 you get to bust one with a girl that will show up at a particular time?
For me, if I have a lunch hour to kill and I use it to look for SW's, even if I don't find one, I typically still come back thinking it a successful learning experience. I agree with everything has said in this post. I just want to add IMHO most sws tend to be more ghetto in their way of thinking and acting YMMV. Some act as if they have on skid row for years. I finally got a chance to see what the big fuss was about with Angel. I called her today during the rainstorm. She told me where to meet her and I went to see her. She is aware of this site. I had the best cbj possible IMHO. The snatch was good too. I gave her 20 bones for the room and 60 bones to her. I have to say I will be back again. The little bar by Chelsea/RR xing/overpass sometimes has some hot chicks walking in and out, but never have any of them given a sign that they are "workin' girls". I've seen them pop over the RR tracks heading apparently to where they live, and I've offered a ride, but never had a taker.
I popped in there one day to see, and one of them was working as a bartender.
Bottom line is that I think you're wasting your time there, but perhaps others have had different experiences.

Had a wild night while in town and cruising on Sunday evening. Started the night at Babes. Spent about an hour getting mollested a few girls before setting out n the streets. More than a dozen suspected prostitutes are piled onto a police van only an hour or so after this sweep began.
"I'm not going to let you see my face, so you can forget that (bleep)!" yells one suspected hooker.
We were given unlimited access to find out how these girls got here.
"Police came and swooped up and said I was under arrest for prostitution," says suspected prostitute Barbara Robinette.
She claims she is not a prostitute.
"We're already getting charged with it, so it don't matter if the news sees it or not," screams another woman.
Vice Unit Lieutenant Chris Moffatt says he sees the same faces time and time again as he cruises hooker hot spots like Lamar Avenue and Elvis Presley Boulevard.
"It's the same ladies, doing the same crime in the same area," says Moffatt. "You're just locking them up again," he adds.
The crime of prostitution is not the only one police are worried about.
"The drugs, the violence, the other crimes that tend to follow," says Moffatt.
Police say busting these women and often their johns and pimps too is a never ending battle.
It's a battle they will continue to fight as long as the world's oldest profession is a problem on the streets of Memphis.
Police expected to arrest dozens of women during Wednesday night's sting.

Over on National at 5pm there was a blonde sitting by the store at the Macon corner.
Within moments a blue Jeep SUV pulled up and arrested the girl (she wasn't walking or waving or anything). Immediately after it, a gold SUV pulled in and started harassing the others in the lot.
What a waste.
Anyway, I waited across the street, then after she was processed and carted off, I pulled in behind the bust vehicle to make sure I got a pic of his license plate; I followed for about 2 minutes watching to see if they had any others they were going to pluck.

Here is the real story:
Yes!!! She died from a over dose and exposure, this past winter. I have had this information comfirmed by two different Camden girls. They both said the same thing, "Diane did not take care of herself."
I thought I had passed this information on. Maybe I did not, I was waiting for confirmation. When Camille told me she was the only girl on Boardway with implants, I asked her about Diane. She said, "Diane died from a drug over dose last winter." (Flo had already told me the same thing months ago.)
I was fond of Diane. She had a very friendly charm about her. I figured she'd get busted, go away for awhile and come back all filled-out; and be a star.

Was out today, Sunday, and decide to take a trip on Lamar about 4:00 PM. I did not see anything by Getwell. However, at the north end of Lamar near Mobile, I spotted two individuals take were trying to get attention, one was heavy set with blond hair and the other thin with dark hair. I waved and they waved but since I had some one on my back bumper I could not stop. I went a little was up and turned around both had disappeared. So I decide to go over to Brookes and saw nothing. I went back to Lamar, both were back but to dark haired girl was talking on her cell and I could not get her attention. I have experience with this one. She used to drive the Mercedes with the Arkansas license plates with Christian Brothers University fonts around it. She took my money too. I had my mace and pistol and could have gotten it back but did not want the attention in case things got ugly. Wife would not like that or should I say ex wife.

Of the 5 SW's I saw, most were 7+ on the SW scale (I would rate Angel as a 7 maybe 8). 2 Brunettes, both wearing black shorts, both with long hair, and both pretty strong. A strawberry blonde (looked to be about 30), wearing platform shoes with strings that wrapped around her calves, nice rack, said her name was Christy and didn't want a ride. I made several trips up and down Lamar this afternoon about 2:00 PM. As I drove north on Lamar near the BK there was a WSW, dark hair, white top and short blue short, wiggling her way across the road and walking in the turn lane. I was on Bellvue about 10 saw lots of our friends out and about at different little spots even seen a really thick WSW with red hair she had on a white top and white shorts. There is also a white Explorer with a black or grey two tone on the bottom and an antennae on the roof saw it twice in Nutbush the last couple weeks. Probably a 97 to 2000 model.

I saw the guy in this pic filling up at the gas station on Winchester just south of Lamar on Sunday morning around 4am. Nutbush was completely empty about 10 this morning -- the same for Summer from National to Lester.
I then made a run over to Lamar. There were two BSW's near the Mapco. One looked good in a black tee shirt. There was a thicker one, dressed in white also in the area.
By the chicken place, I spotted Angel and Brandi, but it was too late for me to turn around. This was about 11 am.
Is it me or has "traffic" on Lamar seemed to have moved from the part closer to Winchester and closer to the Mapco and Garden Inn? Seeing a whole lot of new faces around those parts at night.
