I am in town for a few days and wanting to checkout the strip club scene here in Philly. I looked through the last few months of reviews and didn't see a lot of decent recommendations. I am staying near a large club called Show and Tell but saw a very negative review about the place saying it was not good place at all. Has anyone else had different opinion, just curious. I am looking for a down to earth place, with friendly chicks that offer some special dances, but not a high end joint that wants to break my bank just to get in and have a drink or two. Is there such a place in town? If not, what place is a must see while I am here?

I am up from Jax and if anyone heads down that way and wants some intel, just hit me up.

Deliahs has the best looking girls and you might get extras in the champagne room but it's going to cost you. Club Risque and Cheerleaders have good looking girls but real slim chance for extras especially if you're new.

If you have a car you're best bet is to go to the Playhouse Lounge. It's about a 45 min drive from Philly. You can get a handy in the back for basically the price of the song. A couple girls will do more for a bit more. Good luck. Philly is no Florida when it comes to strip clubs.

MM.Atlantis is right in the city near downtown (like 36&Chestnut). They'll half rub you out right at your seat. Those are the ones I go back with. Had HJ, BBBJ and CBJ sometime for a negotiated price, sometimes just for an expectation of a tip. I bet full service is on the menu for many. Area is nice, close to UPenn. I've been there mostly during the day when the picking can be slim (like 1 or 2 dancers) but they're down for fun. Not sure what it's like at night. There's some really cute younger strippers. All AA.

Purple Orchid is down by the airport and similar situation. Private dance rooms aren't as private (curtains, not doors) bit I've gotten a HJ there in the more public couch dance area. Last is Outer Space. Also in West Philly but more in the 'hood. They have a bouncer outside but it's not the nicest area. They have a couch dance room that is like a closet. Only been there once but dances were $10/ song. Dancers vary.

Ballpark ourside of the city (north in Bucks Co) is mostly white but some variation on looks. Dancers 100% dtf.

Likewise for 19th Hole. Also in burbs. Some extras to be had. There's a blonde spinner there with an east European accent that's dtf.

The Picadilly is still a good situation. Its in the hood in north philly but once your in there you're cool. There are a couple of white oldheads that are regulars in there. And its always takeout available.

They are both close to 100% AA which I prefer. These girls are friendly, good looking, fairly young, up for a good time, and unlike white girls in a place like the Ballpark they aren't a bunch of drug addicts. Atlantis is at 3801 Chestnut St below the restaurant on the corner. They have a common room for $20 dances (4 minutes long and timed by an attendant) and there about 5 private rooms for $30. IMO the $30 is the way to go but many guys prefer the $20. With the right girls FS is available. It is quite in the afternoon but if Slim is working you should have a good time. No cover charge until 7 pm when a $7 cover is charged.

I like the Purple Orchid (same owners as Atlantis) more because there are more girls, more customers, and it has easy parking. They also have a $20 common room for 4 minute dances and they have 2 private $30 rooms that now have doors w / o windows. Girls are friendly, handsy, and they know what you want. It's at 3275 S 61st St (corner of 61 and Essington Ave and not that far from the airport.) It's 1/2 mile from Oasis and just 15 minutes from Atlantis. Melanie and Princess are 2 favorites. Nobody should settle on a HJ here. No cover until 6 pm when a $5 cover starts.

I went to Outer Space 2 x last summer. Again, all AA girls. It's a dive with a $10 cover at night. The "rooms" are $20 for 12 minutes. The first time there I went to "room" on the first floor with Amerie, formerly of Atlantis. The "room" is the changing room that the dancers use. There was a wood built in bench that was the "couch". Next to it was a step ladder, a bicycle, and cleaning supplies. I didn't.

Feel real classy LOL. A few weeks later I tried the place again, went to the 2nd floor room with Amerie. It was a room with paneling, carpet, and a kitchen chair. I haven't been back and am in no rush because it's a dump and because Atlantis and Purple Orchid are so much better.

I have to weigh in on this comparison, Although I'm not as qualified to review PO. I've been to Atlantis once over 10 yrs ago, so I leave that out, but it falls in the same category as PO. I've only been to PO once and that was about 1 month ago, early evening on a Tuesday. I haven't been to OuterSpace (OS) is more than a yeAr, but used to go regularly, mostly on Sundays (their best day).

I think the quality of the girls is slightly better at PO. They were definitely more conversational, but that could have been based on the time of day. If you want privacy then PO Is the place. If you're concerned with cost then OS. I also prefer the OS method of counting songs. I don't trust / like some guy counting my?? Minutes dances. I can never get totally comfortable in that scenario. At OS I pay every 4 songs, if it goes that long. That allows me to quickly determine if the girl can count and if I can totally relax. Because in a good dance I will (happily) lose count.

In my PO visit I got dances with two different dancers in the $20 room, both for three? Songs?. One got a $20 tip and the other a $10 tip. Total for dance money $150. The same scenario at OS assuming no private room would have beeen $5 dances $10 and $5 tip (probably wouldn't tip $10 on $15 in dances but ok). Total dance cost $45. With the type of dancers and dances I got at PO I likely would have spent $40 on each for dances with a $10/$5 tip. So for that I would have gotten 8 dances from each dancer with a total dance cost $95.

With that being available I can't justify paying more. For me the better quality and privacy at PO Does not justify the cost difference.

If PO dancers were cheaper or I counted my own dances. Then it would be a harder choice.

Also, if I should consider additional options for personal entertainment, that advice is well received.

Don't suppose there are any Eastern European options known for a friendly good time? I'm not opposed to making a new friend and skipping the trip out if that's an option.

I am rarely here over the weekend and in the past 19th hole has been really slow during the week with mediocre talent so my luck had varied. I have been stopping by there every couple of months for a few years and amazed that some of the big girls are still there day after day! Tonight was much busier but the talent was mostly black and either huge or super spinner. I like right in the middle and there was only one Hispanic girl that fit that bill and she was going to the private area constantly and I could not get her attention. She was not the older one that is always there or the one with the giant bolt ons, I have never seen her there before. Finally got it and she does not speak a lick of English. Smoking hot body with bolt on and a great medium size ass. Long black hair, not really tatted up and a great smile. No idea what her name was but we went to back room and very easy negotiation. I went on Thursday night and it was really slow. Absolutely nothing that interested me there. All really big girls. Only cutie was a short black girl that was walking out as I walked in. Must have been too slow for her to stay. Might go back just to see if I can find her again. Would have taken her to the private room for sure. One other girl had braces and looked ok but never got away from the older white dude hanging out that seemed to be a regular. Girls kept walking around asking for tips even though they were not on stage. One girl kept rubbing on me and had way too much perfume on so my shirt smelled like her the entire ride home.

It was a dive but far from the worst places I have been to in Washington park, Illinois / east St. Louis. Just not into super thick girls. If that is your thing than purple orchard is your place.

I know it's in NJ but it's been mentioned before. I went yesterday, probably my 4Th or 5th time. Every other time was one high contact song, then a lubed HJ, like clockwork. There are areas throughout that still allow for an intimate or quality dance despite not being private. Always have been able to find a girl that is fun to be around or that I find attractive. Girls are easy to talk to and It's not an issue to express what you are into or are looking for.

Not In the best neighborhood, but haven't felt overly unsafe or worried. Dances are I believe $5 for a song. Largely AA but haven't felt out of place or unwelcome being a white dude. Good value here.

Just left 19th Hole at 7 pm after 1 beer. Pretty dismal experience, hopefully this place gets going later in the night. A couple of larger AA girls, kinda cute at least. A well proportioned larger Hispanic, really slim white, heavier set white, not in a good way, and a fairly decent white that is in the middle of negotiating her VIP with a patron.

About 8 other patrons. Nothing I would throw down decent money for. I couldn't drink my beer fast enough to get out of there.

I was going to try out PO last weekend when I was flew in, but a very delayed flight killed that dream. I'm hoping to check out PO, Atlantis & Piccadilly in the next few days or a combination of.

I'll post my experience after, hopefully it's much better than what I just experienced, that place was on life support.

Bad news to report on a local dive with a good rep. A lighter skinned entertainer orchestrated a hustle of over $500. Dances offered weren't fulfilled even though time was spent. When a $40 couch arrangement was agreed upon I left the area being told I owed $140. Later I was offered dances to make up the difference with a companion joining. I left this round being told I owed $300. Since I didn't have that kind of cash to spend especially after an obvious extortion I ran (will concur with what they will say) but then the threats, harassment and damage done to my property and self far outweighed other harm done. Not worth the risk and damage from this horrendous outfit!

You can sit at the bar and chill for a while without spending much, just handing out dollars as they walk around. Be good to the bartender, all of the bartenders are great ladies. Oasis was a good time. Went on Saturday and Sunday of last week while visiting town. Didn't do anything except watch the fight on TV Saturday night. Things have changed at the 19th hole. A few months ago the private dance rules changed drastically. There was plenty of discussion at the time on this board, so I won't rehash it here. There were a few of the more aggressive dancers that left, which was a good development, and a few that stayed who I enjoyed chatting with, even without extras. Recently, none of my favorites have been around. For the last month, I haven't seen Skye, Angel, or Veronica, to name a few. So I was bored Thursday and driving past the raven and figured why not, first club trip since before March and although strange not as bad as I expected. They make you walk in through the take out side now and check your temperature before letting you sit down. As per orders you have to eat so they provide pizza, possibly the largest slice I've ever seen in my life (anyone who has been recently knows what I'm talking about). No smoking which has been a thing for a while apparently and I enjoyed that a lot. Only 20 customers at a time and there's seating for that many, definitely not more. I got a dance from natasaha today at cheerleaders. Everything was just whatever I haven't been here in a while. I had to rush out but made eye contact with this girl and I was hoping for some help getting her name. I tried calling to get her name but the guy just didn't want to take any time to help.

She is either dirty blonde or red head. She has a B or C top. And she has this huge medusa looking or monster Tattoo of a face on the L front Thigh. I really need a dance from her. Stayed downstairs at la pearl lounge mostly watching the fight. The quality of dancers were trash and the number of dancers to customers ratio sucked. Downstairs closed at 8 so I went upstairs to outerspace until 9. What time did you get there?

Yes it's open. Better than I thought. Small button bell at front door. Ring it so they let you in. Almost thought it was closed.

All AA dancers. 5 dancers around Sunday 5 pm. No private room so dances where you sit. 3 were fat, 1 too skinny, one looked hot, good face and body. Skinny one had attitude.

Appears Sunday is not a good day to visit. Lot of strippers kept talking about how someone kept making it rain night before and their bags were full. I guess they were not as motivated. Overall good time.

What day and month is good time where strippers are more motivated?

They removed the curtains from the private rooms (even before covid) so the dances are pretty lame. I don't believe Veronica is back, but I've only been there a few times since they reopened and not for a couple of months.
