I always tell the girl that their pictures will be posted. Most agree that it could be good for business. I have run into a girl or two who has claimed that I didn't tell them. Kensington Ave..for all practical reasons the stroll more or less begins at Kensington Ave and Front St at the south end and Kensington Ave and Frankford Ave at the north end.
If you rent a car you will be under the elevated (the el) train for the entire time.

HSIf you're coming off I-95 just get off at the Allegheny exit and take Allegheny over about 1-1 1/2 miles. you'll see the el (elevated train). You can start right there!

The area around DD and Womrath Park have been the target areas for stings many years now. It's a great area as they can stake out chase cars in multiple areas. Nice size parking lots to sieze your ride, and not alot of locals to foil their operation. Glad you got away, good street smarts!!

Last nite around midnite I picked 2 ******, 1 black and 1 PR names were Juicy and Bubbles, both young and looked wayt to clean to be working the ave. We drive around for a bit until they convince me to go to a spot they knew was safe (Mistake #1).
Went into the back seat w/ both of them, through the window I can see a black guy walking towards the car pulling something out of his jacket. The girls were obviously in on the job so they opened the car doors. The guy jumps in and pushes the gun up to my gut. It was a small piece could have been a 22 or a fake lighter. I didnt want to find out for sure.
They went though my glove compartmnet and grabbed my wallet and my phone (Mistake # 2). He let me keep my wallet but took the phone. He then threw my keys into a dark baseball field and left. Somehow I was able to find my keys in a minute but they were gone.
I got out w/ my life, my car and my wallet. I consider this a huge education and one I definetly want to pass on.

One rule I always follow unless I know the girls is to not let 2 girls in my car. Just too risky. Almost the same as most girls will not get into a car with 2 guys unless they know one of them. Also when a girl is insistent on going to a certain spot I'll do just the opposite or just drop her off.
Another good rule to follow, besides keeping most valuables away is to keep your spare key in the ignition. If a girl ever tries yanking your key out you will still have your personal keys intact as well as another ignition. I had that happen to me back in the 80's. Similar scenario, two girls, their spot, as soon as we parked the one grabbed my keys and took off and next thing you know 2 guys come from around the corner. I had alot of cash on me, so I just used some footwork to get away from both and get to a phone to call police. Stupid for them they got in the car and were found about 3 blocks away smoking weed and listening to the radio. Got everything back but a radar detector that disappeared and the state pressed charges. The two guys got the most of it with the girls probation.
Unfortunate episode, that I glad it happened as I learned a hell of alot and that definetely may have saved my butt more than once in the future.

You mention a couple of mistakes you made and I wanted to comment on them. As you say, it can happen to any of us. I consider myself very careful and I'm certainly experienced but I recently got sloppy and made your "Mistake #2." I had something fairly expensive ripped off by a SW, the first time I think I've ever lost anything of value on a date.
As for your Mistake #1, I know that never parking where a SW wants you to park is often mentioned as a basic mongering rule. Personally I don't consider that a hard and fast rule. In fact I break it a lot. Several of the best spots I've ever found were introduced to me by SWs. I really think it's a judgement call. I tend to trust my instincts on the girl and the spot she recommends. If I don't like the spot, and often I don't, I'll just go someplace else.
The other thing you mention that I'd caution against is picking up more than one girl at a time. I just read on the Vegas board about a monger there who got ripped off by a pair of girls he picked up in his rental. My feeling is that if it's my idea and I choose to invite two girls into my vehicle, that's cool. But if it's the girls' idea to hop in together, that's going to get a fast "no" from me unless I really know one or both of them. There's just too much potential danger. I know the feeling. The last time it happened to me was maybe 20 years ago, while I was going to school in Philly. There was both good and bad news concerning what happened to me...
I saw a girl, a good looker--this was before the "trophy wife"--so picked her up. She insisted on circling behind a nearby location and su***** me off in my car, in the alley. About 30 seconds after we start, some guy opens my car door, sticks a gun to my head, and tells me to give him my wallet.
Now the good news. I knew what a girl like that would cost, so I parked and put the rest of my money away in the spare tire well of my car. When I negotiated with the girl I showed her what I had, and she agreed to all but the buck I knew she wouldn't bother negotiating. ("I need the $1 in case I run out of gas. I need to get home.") So, when the gunman came, all I had was $1. I showed him my wallet, he batted the wallet out of my hand, and grabbed what he could, which in his case was a few credit cards. I called in the three credit cards he stole, and he was arrested the following morning trying to use my JC Penney card at the Galleria, downtown.
Following his arrest, he talked about accomplices, and the his buddy and the girl also got busted. They all had warrants, and at least one of them (the other man) is still serving time, and I will still have time to serve when my life on this Earth is done. The DAs office was very professional, I told them what I did (solicitation for) and they didn't care. I never had to go to court because they all copped a plea way beforehand.
There have also been other times, like some hussies in DC "feeling me up" to the point where they pull out my wallet. But I never have more money than I am willing to spend for a ho, plus a buck or two. The rest is in the wheel well for the spare tire. In this case ALL MY MONEY was in the wheel well. "What you doin' drivin' 'round if you ain't got no CASH!!!" Little did they know.
If I don't trust myself, or the neighborhood--more often I don't trust myself--all the money goes in the wheel well.

I imagine you are thinking what do these two topics have in common. Let me tell you a funny story that had a very happy ending.
Last week I headed to center city to visit my usual incall place. Once I parked, I called to set-up an appt. I never seem to have a problem getting right in, but this time was different. I got robbed at knife point a few years back in Trenton, and yes, it's not a nice feeling.
I would also like to add that IMHO another "mistake" was to take two girls at a time, even if there was no third man coming at you with the gun, with two girls you're already outnumbered.
Granted, I got robbed by a single "girl" (her voice dropped all of a sudden when the knife came out, so it turns out it was a TS or TV). In any case, I got robbed by a single person and there my mistake was to go to the girl's "safe" place, safe for her to rob me!
I guess in the end is not so much the girl's place or not, being outnumbered or not or having your phone easily accessible, but with each bad decision making, our odds of getting in a bad situation increase.

Picked up a young one around 12:30 AM last night, said her name was Michelle, it was dark and raining so I didn't quite get enough of a look for the acne but everything else described about her sounds right.

I'd say so far one of the nicer girls I've met on the ave for quite some time now. Never felt overly rushed with my sessions with her, but ya never know whats going on in these girls minds from one moment to the next.

Actually it's not hard to do. Most of these prepaid phone company's have a web page where you can add minutes to a phone as a gift, all you need is the name of the carrier and the mobile phone number. I'm sure any gal would be just fine with adding minutes, the question is will you get a return on your investment.

I don't know what they cost but adding 5 or 10 minutes can't be that expensive and then we would be able to call them for a meeting. We would just have to know how long the carrier takes to turn the service back on so we would be the first call.

The good news is turn on is almost instant, once upon a time I gave a phone to my live in regular and had to do this quite often. The bad news here is you have to refill in what ever increments that carrier dictates in the prepaid plan. So if the smallest prepaid card is say 15 bucks at Wawa then that would be the lowest you could recharge on the web as well.

I've also done this on occasion with girls. If you just pick up a phone card (need to know which they have) and call the number on the back, they will ask you what phone number you want to put minutes on. I stopped doing that after a few times I put on minutes (usually minimum $20) and the girl either lost the phone or just had it turned off with a dead battery since her minutes where all finished.

I no longer live in Philly but read this section none the less since I do visit still and like to keep up with the scene. I am surprised that conversation seems to be limited to the K&A area under the El. There are several other spots I know of personally.
First off, the entire run under the El has been fruitful for me. Starting at Girard and going all the way up to the end of the line. The area in Fishtown (between Lehigh and Girard) was great for me. Less LE and better pickings.
Hunting Park off of Broad Street was another area I frequented. I lived nearby and that is how I discovered it. The primary run is along Old York Road. Any of the side streets are good too though. Broad Street is also good but more heavily patrolled for such things. The run along Germantown Ave is not bad either. Mostly BSW but some WSW too.
South Philadelphia, up and down Broad used to be decent late at night. Now when I am up there I check the side streets. Ellsworth to Mifflin on either 15th, or 13th streets usually are good.
Most of my mongering was done through out the 90s. I mongered from the car as well as on foot and bike. The latter certainly gave me a better perspective of what was out there.

I've become extremely risk adverse lately, so my few forays into K Avenue mongering haven't been as fruitful as I would like. The crazy risks I used to take in picking up street girls are the thing of the past. I think I have become too careful and paranoid to cruise up and down the Ave more than once or twice, and of course we all know this means I'm less likely to score. I think I have finally lost my nerve, even though I've never even been close to getting busted. Depsite the fact I have become so risk adverse, find it rather difficult to give up the mongering life altogether.
I guess my point is that I am looking for digits for providers I can meet away from the Ave. If any of you can part with a few, I would sincerley appreciate it.

hey there my fellow Philly mongers,
I had the chance to be in your fair city Saturday to meet up with some friends for dinner so I made sure to get up there early to check out the "K".
I got there early afternoon-about 1:00 ish & stroll the K,starting on Front St,heading north onto Kensington. & made a U-turn & came back the same way. I am not sure if it was 1)too early,2)too cold but I spotted only about 4 candidates,2 I wouldn't touch with a 10' pole. After about 25+ minutes of strolling,I decided to gicve up till after my dinner later that night.
After my dinner,I was closer to the stadium so I decided to check out Broad St.,made my way down Porter off of Broad,down to 7th St,onto Snyder & back on Broad-made this trip twice & didn't spot anything at all. I used to have some luck prior on these strolls but not today so I decided to head on over again to the K to see if my luck had changed.
I got on the same route(Front St.,onto Kensington etc.,all heading north) & spotted some fairly decent sws. I noticed that it is a little tougher to pick-up a sw if you just missed her. The couple times & tried to turn around,the K has alot of 1-WAY streets & by the time I came back around,the sw I was after was long gone.
After about another 20 minutes w/o any luck,I decided to check out some of the other main streets of the K,such as Alleganhy(I think) & Girard,didn't have any luck there neither.I again got on the K-I noticed that LE was pretty heavy so I was more careful with the stroll.
When I was passing the 7-11,I spotted a cute looking blonde so I carefully made a u-turn & made eye contact & pulled over a little farther down. She gets in,name was Melanie,30 y.o-very pleasant. She said her donation was .30 but I came back with the "I donate .20 with tips if it is deserving". She didn't sound too happy but accepted my offer.
She started with a very nice pipe cleaning,very wet,soft shaft cleaning with attention to the boys down under. I was able to feel my way around & she had a good size tattas-I would say about a good C-cup size,nice soft ass cheeks. That was my extent to my hand roaming as I didn't last long.

I decided to visit the KA stroll early Sun around 3 am when I was done hanging with some friends in NJ. Lots to choose from. I did the run from Girard to Hunting Park. Just past Venango I spotted a delight. Hispanic, long dark hair, black stockings under a short skirt. I was almost sure it was one of the civilian girls heading home from being out and not a SW. I pulled around the block and down an alley so that I could pop out onto K where I knew she would be crossing. Our eyes met and I unlocked the car door. She jumped in and off we went.

As for Melanie, other than being blond she sounds quite a bit like the Melanie that Dark Phoenix and I raved about many months ago in that same area. She was darkhaired but we all know how that can change. Davey-you are correct in that the hunt is the biggest thrill. I have read sooo much about the K-especially from guys like you,CJ etc., that I had been anticipating this trip for a long time. Like I said in my post-I come to Philly quite a bit,either for the Phillies or the Eagles-but never did the K stroll.
I always did the shorter Broad St,Snyder,7th St. stroll & had some decent finds there. I definitely will be back to the K for some more exploring,even though I have had some good luck lately in B-More-it is exciting to be in a new place & hunting for some new "gals"!! Seems this board has slowed down a bit. Have not been out much so nothing new to report. However to get things going again how about a quick review of our top girls from the past and present.
My top three:
1. Kendall, from about 4 years ago. Tall and thin with long dark hair, about 21. Always pleasant and no rush. Lost track of her when she moved in with someone.
2. Avvona, despite all the negative talk about her, I managed to catch her on a good days and she was quite a bit of fun, one of a kind.
3. Kate, always easy going and dependable. With her you know exactly what to expect.

Hit the K yesterday and finally got some action. I've cruised the K several times over the last year and have just never been able to get anything. Either I hesitate and go around the block and then they're gone or they ignore me. I've also had a few times where there's nobody worth going with. I don't live in Philly but am close enough for a day trip.
So yesterday I finally connected with somebody. Unfortunately it was with Amy the grifter, who Center City Dude wrote about. She's absolutely as he described her. Didn't realize it was her until she mentioned her name. Settled on a bbbj. She started hounding me for a tip immediately after we agreed on the deal and before anything had happened. I second that, I learned my lesson a long time ago. Some of the Vet's here might remember this, back in the mid to late 90's there was girl named Star on the ave, I don't think she ever did an honest date in her life.
I was still (very) green back in those days and I fell for the "I get paid up front" bit, she then proceeded to tell me "oh stop here I gotta run to my friends house for a sec" not knowing any better I let her go, but got out of the car to follow.

Hit the K yesterday and finally got some action. I've cruised the K several times over the last year and have just never been able to get anything. Either I hesitate and go around the block and then they're gone or they ignore me. I've also had a few times where there's nobody worth going with. I don't live in Philly but am close enough for a day trip.
So yesterday I finally connected with somebody. Unfortunately it was with Amy the grifter, who Center City Dude wrote about. She's absolutely as he described her. Didn't realize it was her until she mentioned her name. Settled on a bbbj. She started hounding me for a tip immediately after we agreed on the deal and before anything had happened. So we know which night of the week Davey is talking about (Thursday) but it could have been Tuesday or Wednesday when Jacurtu saw the heavy LE presence. Now, sometimes it doesn't matter, but other times (like this one) it is important for us to know which night of the week was heavily patrolled by LE so we can spot patterns.
My suggestion for regular members is to mention the day of the week they are talking about when they make posts which relate to specific nights or days.
Just my humble suggestion.

I saw a blonde with long straight hair, nicely slender but bundled up to cover her frontage, standing at Ontario & Kensington Ave on Saturday at 6:30 PM. Found a report in the archives by Guthrie a few months ago. I haven't mongered K all that much lately. Have others come across State LE on the stroll? Anybody know if this is becoming like Camden where troopers assist local LE patrolling city streets?
Sunday night weather was miserable and I wasn't expecting to see much but on my first pass I saw quite a few decent candidates scattered from Front and Susquehanna all the way up to about Castor. Most of the time I like to drive the full stroll before buying, but sometimes that plan backfires and Sunday was one of those cases. Cycling back down the stroll I saw almost nothing and what I did see was old and/or skanky. And oh yeah, I also saw the State LE and several of those dark tinted ULE-type sedans. Along w/ Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sunday is another vice night according to many Philly SWs. I decided it just wasn't worth the risk

Yes Highway Patrol is helping out Philly PD. Have seen many of them myself. Went out Sat for a bit in the eve and too many LE and not enough girls. On the way back home I went by the DD and the cops were setting up a sting at the MC'Ds parking lot. This is the second time in the last year I've seen the police doing stings there. So be carefull picking up girls around the drive through.

The other night when i left my house I thought it was strange having one right in front of me as I was traveling on Allegheny. Didn't see the decoy myself, but that is what I suspected. Had a Ford Escort with limo tint in the Taco Bell with two officers standing outside talking. Two unmarked with a car (got em one) and there was another chace car across the street. Wish I had more time to park and watch, but I had to go.
Someone else may have drove by when I did and not pick up on this, but I've seen so many of these go down, ya just get the layout and know what's going on.

Hi there. I'm a Brit who is making a 2 day trip from Edison NJ to sample the wares of this interesting city.
I will be there in early Jan 2008. I was hoping someone could reccomend a relatively safe notel I could stay in overnight and bring girls back to? I would prefer if this was in Kensington Ave area. I presume that's the SW area right? Are there any other areas in Philly where SWs hang out?

There is no hotel/motel on or near Kensington Ave. Your best bet is to get a room at the Hotel at Adams and Roosevelt Blvd (US1), I think its a Comfort Inn. Or you could stay at the Patio motel which usually rents by the hour, I would not recommend this option. You will need a car to get a around.

Long time since last report; don't do the K much, been trying out some new areas, will report on them later if they pan out.
Anyway, about 3, maybe 4 Saturdays ago, I had no luck in Cam, so hit the K, saw a dark haired beauty, kind of short, with curly hair, lots of cleavage (it was warmer then), around Castor. Well I was out and about for a bit on Friday afternoon. LE was doing their job and pickins where really slim. Saw a cute blonde walking south past Martins Deli, so I did the around the block deal and wound up being behind a cop car. Well we all seem to get our business done down on the K, but for once I would like to report something nice elsewhere.
Lately I have been keeping my eye on the activity on Torresdale and I am happy to report a nice encounter.

That is the only draw back is the requiring of ID. Not only do they look at it but they run it through a scanner to keep a copy of your license on their computer. I used to frequent that place actually quite often until they started that.
I've become extremely risk adverse lately, so my few forays into K Avenue mongering haven't been as fruitful as I would like. The crazy risks I used to take in picking up street girls are the thing of the past. I think I have become too careful and paranoid to cruise up and down the Ave more than once or twice, and of course we all know this means I'm less likely to score. I cruised K & A twice this week, poor results both days. On Sunday, I started about 5pm, stopped about 8pm with little pickings, poor timing on my part, considering the rain, anything out there would not be that obvious.
Tried again today, between the same time. There were some out, mostly poor quality. Its true that the staties are helping out the Philly PD, it was reported on the news about 2 months ago, but I believe they were to concentrate on areas with high gun violence, havent seem them on the trail yet, but would not be suprised. Remember with the staties, they have radars so what your speed.
A note for fellow mongers I noticed by the DD. The mongers looked at me a bit with concern; I was parked and waiting. I would rather not reveal personal details about myself, but if you think you know who I am, please note I am just a monger, looking for the same. I was in a tan vehicle if that helps confirm. I noticed the mongers with what I thought was 2 attractive civilians but noticed that they never got on the bus when it arrived and drove off with others. But please, do not be concerned by me, I dont like cause discomfort, just was waiting to see who was out (SWs). I noticed the same individuals on my prior hunts. I hope that makes sense.
Side note, when going during the evening, afternoon hours, where is one to go, obviously service in vehicle would be poor judgement during those hours and Im not big on the patio. The days inn charges a boat load for a limited period, not sure where to go if I find something and how far would be ok.
I normally like to get in there, get done and leave ASAP when in vehicle but thats late night. Would you guys normally compensate them for the additional time it takes to get to another location. It would be no more than 15-20 minutes each way.

Sorri if my comment should offend anyone here, but you aren't the only one that gets that feeling at DD. Not that I'm totally normal but the guys that hangout there are just a strange bunch. Nothing else to say. I've been stopping there for years and I still get the same look as you did.

Best bets are still the Patio and Carlysle. Yes there are risks with everything as my past incident leaving Patio proves that you aren't safe from LE anywhere. It's just trying to minimize the risks you take.
When paying for a hotel you are also looking out for the girl and minimizing her risks as well from getting caught on a car date. Whenever a girl says she wants more money to drive 10 minutes you better be glad she gets out of your car. These girls walk the streets most of the day, so if they don't have 10 or 20 minutes to give you, they are just looking to rush things along anyway. Another regular girl I see doesn't like the Patio and prefers that we drive over the bridge to the Riviera or the Hallmark. Both will give a decent day rate. Also a bit safer, cleaner etc...

I saw at least 10 cars on Torresdale from the usual occasional 1 or 2. They were on the small streets, I bumped into one traveling the wrong way, in front of me, when he put his sirens on so I can see him, he had all lights off which made me think he was looking for something. I saw a few wagons going around as well as a few highway patrols standing guard by 95 by bridge.

Or as you discovered, sometimes you will not see anyone. That's why it helps to live in the city and be able to make repeated forays.
If you need to save gas you could park your car and wait at a higher-activity location such as:
1) In front of the adult bookstore on the east side of the Ave, north of Somerset. Quality is often so-so, but you'll know who the providers are here, and the bookstore rents booths.
2) Huntingdon el stop. Either side of the Avenue. This corner seems to bear more fruit than some other el stops.
I have found 5-7 PM a good time to find some talent.

Thanks, now I've got a damn rap song in my head. To answer, yes, I did man up and hold back the tip, since to be frank about it, she just wasn't worth it. Apologies for the delay in writing this. Usual stuff to do after returning from my trip. As you can see, my long awaited trip did occur on the dates given. I opted to stay at the Quality Inn in Gloucester City by the 130, as recommended to me. This was great as it is more accessible that the Budget Inn from Camden and Philly. let me try to help you just a little, first when you are riding the K, when you get to Allegany (may be spelled wrong) but anyway depending upon your direction there is a gas station about 4 blocks down heading towards 95, second, the bridge is free all day when you are passing into NJ from PA, and last which I thought was kind of funny, is that they are called bsw, not colored. Donny, I suspect you'd need to find a substantial community of Native Americans nearby for that to happen, and I can't think of one in PA or NJ. The closest I can think of would be far upstate NY or the casinos in CT. You're far more likely to find a Latina SW in PA -- many cities have major Hispanic immigrant communities. This is a very late post. However on the night of January 13, I left Baltimore to come home for some business and decided to make a detour off I-95 into Philly.
It was around 1 A. M. When I got to the K. The activity was really light. I must have driven up and down the stroll 4 or 5 times. All I say was a scary looking WSW that did not spark my interest. Right around Cambria I saw Linda. This was about 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning.

I agree with you Wallingford. Was in Kensington on a recent afternoon and took the elevated over from Center City. Walking around and talking with a prospective servicer beforehand. Nicky in this case. Took a lot of the anxiety out of the operation and made for a nice outcome. Staying in the neighborhood also made it easier to buy her some food afterwards and get contact information for a future trip in.
I hit the K a couple of weekends in February and wanted to make a report. The first weekend I cruised the K on a Saturday afternoon and saw a few possibilities but kept missing out. I saw Kate at DD but couldn't make a connection. How does one crack the Kate code? I RTFF but couldn't find many details. I tried sitting in my car, going in for a cup of coffee and standing outside. Nothing.
I came back to the ave. later that night. I finally picked up a very cute blond whose name I can't remember. She said she wasn't very good at bj but would f for 2 jacksons. Your report identifies 3 possible errors on your part.
1 - For first pickup, did you pick her up on the main drag, or a side street? It is best to do the pickups on side streets, preferably with at least one parked car between you & the main drag.
The approach I use is to make a turn within site of the SW. If she's dating, she will likely follow you. Some will walk only a short distance from the stroll, but if they do that, I simply abandon that pickup attempt. Even pulling onto a side street isn't a fail-proof approach, but it at least reduces the risk of an LE stop.
2 - Never, never, never.....NEVER!!! go to a spot suggested by the girl. The best case scenerio is that she bolts with your money. The other possibility is that you are assaulted by a thug who is waiting for you. When you are in her spot, you are in an area with which she is familiar. I prefer to take girls to spots far enough away from pickup spot that they fear being left there in the event of them doing something inappropriate.
3 - Try to avoid an upfront payment. Once she has your money, she has no incentive to perform. If she insists on an upfront payment, use your judgment. If you feel she's trustworthy, then do it (but realize that there is always a risk of subpar performance). Many girls will lback down from the upfront payment demand if they believe you will return her. If you agree to an upfront payment, and she expects more than the normal payment, give her only the normal payment upfront, and tell her the remaining amount will follow as a tip.
There is another rule that I follow which is often effective. Avoid the hottest / youngest girls. They often demand a higher payment, and their performance is often lower than the older/less attractive girls. There is certainly nothing wrong with pursuing the hot ones. Just know that you may be disappointed. You will occassionally find a hot one who is modest/humble,, however.

Sorry to hear your bad luck. It's a mistake to go where a SW's spot. Drive on empty streets this way you know if someone is following you. Avoid going to the same spot all the time. The problem is that a SW will take other guys there as well and the neighbors might become suspicious. Also do not throw your condoms out or let the SW. I have gotten out and picked up a condom when a SW throws it in the street. Leaving used condoms is rude and sends a red flag to the neighbors.
As for LE try and hang out in the areas and observe whats happening. You will find out if the cops are running a sting or hiding out.
Just wanted to chime in for the rook.
The first encounter was not a sting. The only reason the police would run a sting with a sw decoy is to bust Johns. What happened was just as they said it was. He saw you pick her up, harassed the girl and let you go. An ULE decoy never would have gotten into your car. She was a legitimate sw.
Second encounter Hizark is correct. NEVER go to a spot of the sw's choosing, unless you are familiar with the girl. If you pick up a girl for the first time and she insists on going to her spot, it is an immediate red flag. Chance for a set-up. You should always scout for a location that you are comfortable with before you pick up a girl.

This is my first review here. I'm a long-time monger, with reviews on Bestgfe (Is it ok to name another Board here?), and a longer-time user of the K-stroll. Found out about this board only recently--and, for me, at least, it's been dead recently.

Saw her on Thursday on my way home from work--about 8:30 PM as se was reaching the corner by Little Lou's. Didn't recognize her at first, as I hadn't seen her since late October/early November. The other was a platinum blonde, maybe 5'4", also not skinny, with a slightly large nose and very pale skin. Both looked okay, faces and bodies about a 6. Neither of these girls had the petite look I like best but they weren't bad.

Well I went down the way (k) on Sat for the first time in years and nothing has change. But, as I read this thread, I think there's two aspects of this that we ought to distinguish. One is the "technical": what do they know and how much do they use it--the gettin' into if factor. My personal preference is for younger women--late teen--mid twenties. Here, I give escorts the edge for fs but sw the edge for bj. The Ave is Kensington Avenue. The Patio is a Notel on Roosevelt Boulevard, a 15-20 minute drive away. You won't get action at the latter: guys coming out would resent your hitting on their girls. Loitering out front is not tolerated, and the place itself has no lobby. You have to be buzzed in, so you would look foolish arriving without a date. A recent report of finding a girl there was atypical.
If you go to The Ave and pick up someone, most will be able to direct you to the Patio. But much more typically you'll seek out a parking spot on the streets, saving money and time.
For bsw, you might pay more attention to recent posts here about West Philly. Or do a search on Old York Road. Or check out the CookyJar thread, which has recent posts by brothers regarding both the good old days and the current scene.

Other than a few vacate buildings, there is a rehab center on one corner and a Baptist Church on the other. While it is true that they are both groups that do not appreciate mongers, I do not think we have to worry about them attacking anyone.
Mongers should be alert at all times. Most of the places we visit tend to be non-suburban.

Agreed, infact the area surrounding the Patio is a rough neighborhood as well, you just don't notice it as much since it's on the BLVD, gives you a false sence of security.
The staff at the Carlile have never made me feel uncomfotable and the people there during the day are just that, people.
Yes I would not suggest you go here at 3 AM allthough I have and still have not had any real problems, just gotta get past the crack heads hanging in front asking for a dollar. But during the day it's perfectly fine.
In all the years of reading this forum I don't think anyone had ever reported having there car messed with in the 45 minutes or so of parking that it takes to do your "date".
BTW if you ever walk out of one of these places and a cop is parked nearby don't panic, just give your girl a kiss, keep walking to your car and drive away normally. So I am in town for some business through most of April. It is amazing the information from this board, combined with at GPS will get ya. Found the spots and saw some nice girls and some really rough ones. However I just was not in my comfort zone regarding a place to go, so I was just looking around. Ok. So after my day time exploration. I just could not resist! So I went back to the K. After a couple trips up and down, I met "Brittney". A hot little blonde.long curly blonde, awesome ass.
