I assume most of you are familiar with the two guys who cruise the K circling block after block with a video running and they focus on the miserable life out there. Watching carefully, occasionally there is a glimpse of an SW. For months I've been watching to see if the K was coming back to life for mongering purposes. I'll skip my personal conclusions but I wanted to put something out here. Its been quite a while since I have cruised the stroll but watching those videos I am frustrated that they both seem to circle the same blocks and never go further at either end where I have always found where the pickings were best. What gives? Do they not consider the SW scene to be a major part of "life on the K"? Do you think they are AVOIDING showing what we are looking for and really only want to show the misery? Do they not know where to look for. Well, you get my point.

There are a lot of pawn shops, used car shops, and hair cut places on the ave. Pawn shops probably do well from the druggies boosting stolen goods. Car shops probably do well from stolen or repossessed cars. But I'm not sure why there are so many hair cut places on the ave. There's even one that has a logo that looks like some guy is getting a BJ from a different guy.

There are guys who get off on the extra "danger" associated with a known scammer / thief. Two very different points of view from the previous commenters.
Generally speaking, I think shampoo has the better mindset and I think it's better to treat SW out there well. A part of me even thinks of seeing SW as a charity.
Although, the pessimistic side of me sees some truth in don's comments. A lot of the SW out there are just barely there and barely holding on. Most of them can't even manage keeping a phone.
As a side note, I have observed an increase in bad attitudes and poor performance among SW.
In fact, even in my day-to-day life, I've been noticing an uptrend in people with shorter temper and are more prone to outbursts.
I have also noticed an increased frequency in them leaving stuff behind. Most of the time it's been something to keep warm so I would just give it to the next girl that looks cold. Occasionally it's a bag of dope or a pipe.

As for the mongers getting tagged nobody I know has been bothered. I've seen guys pick up right in front of active duty marked cars and nothing happens.
Even if a guy does get accused of solicitation if he has his shit together and a believable story there is little to nothing that can or will be done. Don't try that old line about asking a girl if she needs a ride. A seasoned officer will right away ask why you passed the twelve other people that may also need a ride. So, not very probable that plane will fly in that shitstorm. There are a ton of other reasons to be talking to a streetwalker. Just use some common sense.
An interesting incident happened to me years ago. I got stopped and the officer asked what I was doing. He asked why I was in a known prostitution area. I simply asked him "known to who"? I commented I didn't see any signs indicating anything about prostitution. Then I pointed out there are plenty of no parking signs. So I know where I can't park. Also, signs indicate a drug-free zone. How am I to know where a prostitution area begins and ends? I had done nothing to indicate I might be seeking a prostitute. In my opinion, the biggest thing to watch out for on the stroll is other drivers.
Today, a pickup truck rear ended a sedan. The sedan had the trunk crushed but the pickup was fine. The driver in the pickup decides to flee the scene. The sedan driver pulls a gun and chases after him.
Not too long ago, an old man was stopped at a light. A tow truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel and smashed into the old man. The old man was in a luxury sedan but it was totaled. The tow truck driver fled the scene on foot.
There are always zombies walking around, but sometimes they get behind the wheel. The best case scenario is if they nod off at a red light. Worst case is they nod off while the car is in motion and smash into someone at full speed.
There are always people driving in the opposite side of the road, running reds, doing crazy stunts.
Cops don't seem to do anything. They seem to just chill in their cars and fool around on their phones.

The stings have been going on in Huntingdon area for a few weeks now. Nothing happens anymore. The girls are being offered alternative programs. None of the girls seem interested because the programs don't address the drugs and the other issues that go with detoxing from them. For the girls, it's a catch 22. There are no court dates or anything like it used to be. The longest I've heard they keep the girls now is roughly two days, give or take. As for the mongers getting tagged nobody I know has been bothered. I've seen guys pick up right in front of active duty marked cars and nothing happens.
Even if a guy does get accused of solicitation if he has his shit together and a believable story there is little to nothing that can or will be done. Don't try that old line about asking a girl if she needs a ride. A seasoned officer will right away ask why you passed the twelve other people that may also need a ride. So, not very probable that plane will fly in that shitstorm. There are a ton of other reasons to be talking to a streetwalker. Just use some common sense.
An interesting incident happened to me years ago. I got stopped and the officer asked what I was doing. He asked why I was in a known prostitution area. I simply asked him "known to who"? I commented I didn't see any signs indicating anything about prostitution. Then I pointed out there are plenty of no parking signs. So I know where I can't park. Also, signs indicate a drug-free zone. How am I to know where a prostitution area begins and ends? I had done nothing to indicate I might be seeking a prostitute. This made me laugh, and I appreciated the honesty. As a monger of 15 years, I have been all over the northeast, Chicago, Florida, and Tx but have to say tonight's trip down Kensington didn't disappoint. I took the chance with out of state plates and drove the area for about 30 mine at 8:30 pm and counted, and I am not exaggerating, 18 different working girls from Kens and Buckius down to Tioga and some of the side streets. It was like saying, Prostitution is now legal if the cops were going to look the other direction.
Philadelphia experienced one of its worst crime waves in 2021, murders, car jackings and violent crime hit all time highs. With limited resources, it makes no sense that they would target street prostitution as a priority. Maybe an arrest or two for a particular neighborhood as a political gesture to those neighborhood crime watch committees but nothing of real concern.

Can do considerable pain to the eyes. She knows me and knows I will use that stuff without hesitation if necessary. So she vacated the premises. Protect yourself from her. She is trouble with a capital "T". Others have not been as lucky as I was and she will cut your seats if she gets upset. Has no problem breaking a car window to drive her point home. Not a real good choice of available talent at all. Most of the old veterans here know Crazy Katie and know to avoid her like the plague. Although I have seen her as far down as Huntingdon on occasion, she's usually around 7 - 11 up to about Tioga. She lives right there in the fleabag flat on the Ave. Her old stomping ground was Little Lous when it was open. She would get a guy to go around on Ruth St. And then anything was on the table. Usually never ended well. Hence the monicker I gave her many years ago, Crazy Katie. She fears nobody out there man or woman. Careful, careful, careful with that one. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

It seems like the good ones get picked up walking half a block while the bad ones get passed up all the time.
I had one bad experience with her years ago. Her teeth were all rotten and shark-like. Her attitude was terrible and she was all coked up. I ended up just tossing her 20 to gtfo.

I get offered every time I visit a wide range of activities from five dollars and up. Best to keep in mind the going rates at all times. The reason I say that is because if you are offered fun times for budget rates chances are you will get a budget STD to a not-so-budget-friendly clinic. The rates vary widely because the players vary widely. Don't let fancy cars fool you. Most of them were auction cars nobody else with 25% brain capacity wanted. They're just trying to impress those that can be easily impressed.
You have the big spenders that for some reason think it makes them more appealing to the workforce. The workforce only cares about covering the next hit. They aren't putting any funds away for college or to put the kids through Parochial school. Then you have the El Cheapos, the bottom feeders that have more and refuse to spend it. Then of course there are the bargain basement searchers that tend to save their hard-earned cash for the upcoming doctor visit after the Dollar Store pussy they enjoyed. They want that just marked-down pussy.
So, where does that leave you? Are the twenty-dollar meetings gone? Not at all. The rates are so scattered one would need a GPS to get through them all. Go out and get the best deal you can. In the game of retail pussy there are no set rates.
Yes, you will run into those that claim to charge more. But do they get more? You have a dozen or more women claiming to give the best head around.
