Hey there my fellow Philly Mongers,
I had some business in your city yesterday & made sure to get there early to check out the K. Just recently got back in town from my long stay in Atlanta for medical purposes--glad to report all went well. I was down on the K all afternoon and evening last Tuesday, mostly doing some heavy recon and getting a whole bunch of digits (seems like a lot of girls are managing to hang onto their cell phones these days.). I met up with Kylie in exactly the same area that you did, Tom. I must say that she truly is a beautiful girl facially--the pics she posts don't do justice to how pretty she is in person. Thanks for the warnings. I'll need to approach a situation like this with more caution. She initially told me that the guest was waiting for her room mate. Later when she asked me to leave, she said that he was there for her. I thought that he might be a hobbyist.

I started not to post this report because it was Thee WORST Date I've had with a SW and after reading how bad some mongers and be, I decided to post on how some SW's can be bad dates. I was up in Southwest philly on woodland ave coming from visiting some friends when I notice a asian woman standing at the trolley stop and at first I didn't think nothing of it but I just noticed how see was looking at the cars that were in front of me waiting for the light to turn green. So I'm thinking she is a SW or there has to be some kind of undercover sting going on for a asian chick to be in the hood after 9pm. So I pull over near a bar planning on getting out to go talk to her but she see me pulling over and walks over to my car. I tell her to get in because I know that if she's ULeo she ain't gettin in, she does then I pull off to get out of the area. Her english was real good but I understood the words coming out of her mouth(it reminded me of jackie chan in the rush hour movies). She said her name is Sue and that she was 34(yeah right she pushing 50) and needed some money for a cell phone, but after talking to her for a few minutes I know she was a crack smoker but just went along with what she was telling me. The TV news reporters indicate that they will just give warnings out until a certain date. In meantime, it is possible that they will just use this as a reason to stop a car and investigate the driver. One news reporter stated that even being parked and talking on the cell phone could get you a warning ticket.
Until it is clear what the city will do with this new ruling, I would be careful in Philly while being in the car and using the cell phone. Regardless if it is a warning or a ticket that will get overturned, it could pose a problem for us being stopped. That is why I posted it.
I would hope that common sense might apply. Whereas it would be O.K. if you were using a cell phone in your car that is parked off of the surface streets. I certainly would not want to go outside of the car in the dead of winter just to make a cell phone call.

If the city government breaks the law day in and day out how can they reasonably expect the citizentry to respect the rule of law. Philadelphia has become a joke, it's own little feifdom, with it's illegal ordinances that completely violate state law. First they pass a city ordinance banning the hanging of air freshners off of rearview mirrors, a shaky ordinance at best. Legally it can only be a secondary ticket i.e. they can't stop you for it since it's not a moving violation. State law says that in the state of Pennsylvania you can be stopped only if a duly appointed officer observes you making a moving violation, after that he can then cite you for other secondary violations. However the PPD saw this as an oppurtunity to stop and harass it's citizens when it can't find anything else on you. I have mixed feelings about this ban, first I did read that it allows hands free devices and it does not target those who are parked. I think it is dangerous to try and study a phone on your ear with one hand and drive with the other, I don't think the act of talking in and of itself is dangerous, to me if you have your hands free it's no more dangerous than talking to your passenger. I am worried however that this ban is gonna be used to further harass citizens in the poorer neighborhoods who are already unfairly targeted by the PPD. I wish they would put the same effort into figuring out how to fix our school system as they do dreaming up these crazy ordinances, that's an idea that would actually solve more problems than it causes.

I have always questioned the dangerous part, the holding of the phone to the ear or the actual conversation. I am not sure if hands free is considerably safer. How many of us actaully drive with 2 hands on the steering wheel? I think the most dangerous part is the entire distraction of the call. I see so many people on phones that forget they are on a highway in the passing lane and now only doing 25 mph.

Also, you have to consider the people that eat while driving or even program radio stations while driving. I agree that cell phones are problems, but think we won't see a significant decrease in distracted drivers. Think about how many "drones" you see walking around with blue tooth earpeices that are totally consumed in their conversation. If you knew someone was following you, why'd you stop somewhere that was condusive to you being robbed, that's just plain dumb. Obviously the girl in the car is in on it, why are you worried about where you're dropping her off at. You could have driven to very public place or how about a Police Station. Ordinarily I wouldn't blame the victim, but you knew something funky was going on long before the actual robbery. If you thought they were cops you still could have driven to somewhere safe, if she was ULEO or not, you still weren't in the shit any deeper regardless. This is a dangerous hobby no matter where you are. Whether you're in NYC or Mayberry you're still dealing with people who have little to lose, you rolled the dice and came up craps no reason to flame a whole city. I was checking out the chick on the corner when LE came out of nowhere. Needless to say I got a ticket for the light and called it a night. While driving around I see all sorts of things mongers do that cause accidents like the sudden u-turn in on coming traffic to the slam on your brakes in heavy traffic to beep for a SW. Yesterday I dated Michelle again. Not the one Mad Monger just had the problem with, but the one of four-star fame and pics both by CJ and Super. I have brightened and re-posted one of CJ's.
The date was so much like my earlier one that there is little left to write. That was a really great date indeed. Once more, I paid more than I needed to, because it felt like the right thing to do.

I finally parked on the street I had driven in on from the K and waited. After about 10 minutes Michelle came walking down the block towards me and I gave her a tiny wave but she was intentionally ignoring me so I lightly beeped the horn. I don't want to sound like a rookie because I have been mongering for a while. But we can all get into a situation where we think too much with the little head and get jammed up or screwed over. The bigger danger I let myself in for is that I drove to a drug infested neighborhood in the first place. I could have been detained for questioning given the arrests going on in the neighborhood at the time. I could have been led into a trap for robbery or worse. WRONG!!!...........If the cops stop you for anything so simple like a broken tail light, no turn signal, etc.... they can search you and your car if you act suspicious, or say something suspicious. Or maybe they saw you circle the same block 4 times, or drive slowly by a known SW or drug dealer. In most jurisdictions they need your permission to search the vehicle. If you refuse to give them permission and they believe there might be something illegal in your car, all they need to do is impound your car, then they will get a search warrant. If stopped and nothing illegal is in your car, its just easier to let them search it then to go thru the process of having your car impounded and finding a ride home that night. As for having a list of 22 rules for street mongering in your car.......nothing illegal about that. If they stop you and they find this, they can harrass you, but can`t arrest you for it. It`s no different than driving thru a neighborhood full of drug dealers or an area known for prostitution. They are public roads. They can stop you and ask you what you are doing there, but driving your car down a public road is 100% legal. Now if they can prove you agreed to give money to these unsavory individuals in exchange for an illegal service or product, now you have problems and you probably will be spending the night at the roundhouse.

But, if there is something in your car you shouldn't have, whether you give the cops permission to search your car or not, you will end up paying extensive legal bills either by trying to get the charges dropped/reduced, or attempting to sue the police for illegal search. People say things as knee jerk reactions and sometimes arguments get out of hand and spin out of control. We have a choice here:

Who said I was coming back? I grew tired of the high crime, freezing winters, and the snow. Life is too short to put up with that stuff. I own 1 jacket, a windbreaker that I wear when the temp. "dips" into the 50s, and I almost never wear long pants. I don`t even own a long sleeve shirt anymore. As a bonus, because of the beautiful weather here, when I am mongering more of the "merchandise" is on display. But I will admit, I miss being able to get a real steak sandwich or hoagie.

I took a detour through Philly this week to check out the K. I entered from North Front St. And within a few blocks I got the look and 'wave' from a cute looking WSW. Picked up Patty or Patti near K & Lehigh about 2:30. She looks better from a distance. She has a lot of acne on face and legs. Here are the rules of this thread for selecting a Philly area SW of the year: 2009.
1. This is a beauty contest only (not performance or any other measure).
2. Nomination Period: Nominations are open immediately and nominations will continue to be open through midnight, December 15th, after which nominations will be closed. Any member can post a nomination here and nominations may also be seconded. There will be one primary nomination permitted per member, although you may feel free to suggest favorites beyond your number one nomination for other members to consider nominating.
3. Voting Period: After the nomination period, which ends 12/15/09, the nominees will be voted upon, one vote per member. It is anticipated that the final voting process will he handled by the Admin, who has been conferred on this. That way the ballot casting can be secret and the winner a surprise. You will be informed of the procedures for the voting prior to December 15, 2009. The voting period will close midnight December 31, 2009 and the results will be announced as soon as practicable.
4. To nominate and vote a member must have established membership prior to 12/1/09.
5. All SWs with a pic and report during 2009 are eligible for nomination. Escorts are not excluded, but there must be at least one street pickup with a report and pic to be eligible. Since some SWs are known with the same names and different name spellings, it would be useful if you provided a link to the report and pic(s) you are nominating.
6. SWs may be anywhere in the Philadelphia/ Delaware Valley vicinity, most certainly including at a minimum the K, Torresdale, Old York Road and Camden strolls.

Since I have no claim to being a computer genius myself, it occurred to me that some of you might welcome a primer on how to produce "links" to reports and pics, so that you can do so when nominating candidates here, and/or just for your own general information.
Here is an explanation I recently PMed to a member on this subject. Feel free to provide better ideas if you have them.
If you want to capture a link for any photo in here, just right click on it and left click on "copy image location" from the choices given to you. Having copied this, it is like copying anything; it is saved and you can then "paste" it within your post by right clicking to get your options, and then left clicking on "paste."
The same process goes for capturing a link to a report. Right click on the report number in the upper right hand corner of the report. Then left click on the "copy link location" option. You can then "paste" the link within your post in the same fashion as I described for pasting an image link.
I hope this is helpful.

Easy access to the Camden and K strolls, of which maps are available on this site.I would suggest the K during the day as the better spot for an out of town guy. I always feel exposed in Camden. Also as there may be little reason to be on the k, there is no reason to be in Camden. A place on Rosevelt blvd or up near the turnpike on route 1 would keep you from having to cross the bridge into NJ. There are a couple of spots on the K you could park and get your bearings, it ain't as hard as some make it seem.

Police sting targets johns in Kensington

Police have wrapped up a prostitution sting in Kensington, authorities announced today, an operation aimed at finding the man or men responsible for the brutal rapes and beatings of four women in recent months.
Though police have not found the men accused in those particular assaults, they arrested 102 people over the course of the 12-day operation, most of whom were charged with solicitation. Female undercover officers posed as prostitutes around Kensington Avenue, where the victims were picked up before they were attacked, and arrested 76 men who offered money or drugs for sex.
"We wanted to send the message that if you're going to come down to Kensington Avenue, or any other area of Philadelphia, to engage in an illegal activity, you may be doing so with an undercover officer," said Lt. Charles Green of the city's vice squad.
Some of the arrested men had weapons. One man was carrying a 10-inch butcher knife, police said. Police also arrested 26 women on prostitution-related charges.
Since October, four women have been raped and badly beaten by men who found them walking near Kensington Avenue at night. Police are not sure whether the same person is responsible for all the attacks, and have said there were differences between the cases.
A composite sketch of the man has been released, and only one of the victims could describe her attacker's race. Authorities distributed copies of the sketch as part of the sting, and said today that an increased police presence will continue in the area.Beez careful out dere!

While I agree with you that Pita deserves a nomination, there is technically only one nomination per member and the first choice here was to second Justine's nomination. Otherwise, we will be going crazy looking through second, third, fourth and lower nomination picks. Are we going to go back and look at all the non-primary choices? Suppose one member ranks a suggestion at 4 and another at 3, but 1 through 3 were already nominated in the first case, and only 1 in the second case. Do we take one member's 4th selection over another member's 3rd selection in this instance? This starts to get very complicated in a hurry. How are we possibly going to be fair without being arbitrary in selecting from them? It also isn't fair to members who nominated one candidate to allow any of a list of suggestions from another member to count.
I think the rule we have in place: one nomination per member, avoids a lot of hassle.
Members should understand that nominating a candidate after she has already been nominated will have no effect on the final vote. The candidates nominated by December 15th will be voted upon from December 16th through December 31st. You effectively waste your nomination choice by nominating a SW who has already been nominated by someone else. You should make a nomination who is a favorite of yours, but hasn't yet been nominated. You will still have a chance to vote again for your absolute favorite candidate during the final voting period.

You are wrong on this point in regards to your "right to publish" nude pictures. Any photographer who takes pictures of anyone who posed for them, clothed or nude, MUST GET A SIGNED RELEASE for the pictures to be published. Also, any magazine, newspaper, website, etc... must have a copy of that release. Without it, the person in the picture can take legal action against the photographer and the source that published it. Obviously, most street walkers do not have the money to hire an attorney so the risk of being sued by them is minimal. You claim that because you took the picture, you own the "copyright" to that picture. Copyright would mean that anyone who wants to publish that picture needs your permission to do so, yet you don`t believe the person in the picture has any rights to their own image. How many times have you seen an actor, singer, athlete, etc... suing a company that is using an image of them in their ads.......without permission? The courts have long held that everyone has the right to protect their own image. If you really want to put this to the test, if you have any nude pictures or videos of a ex-girlfriend, post them online or send them to friends, or post them in a public area. When the girl finds out what you did, she will go to her local police department and file a complaint. It will be investigated and eventually Uncle LEO will be at your front door with a pair of metal bracelets for you and a trip to the steel bar hotel. Depending on how they charge you, it could be either a misdemeanor or a felony.

If you're looking for a friendly cute slender small-framed small-breasted WSW you should seek her out. She lives at Abdul's and can be found north of Allegheny at least as far as M street, which is where I picked her up at dusk on Saturday.
She asked perfunctorily if I was a cop, but as I found out later she has excellent radar and was not really concerned that I was. From her rather long tenure on the Avenue I expected a dispassionate attitude, but was pleasantly surprised with her easy frequent smile and her engaging conversation. We headed to the Carlyle with no questions asked about money or playing the radio.
Somehow she seemed to put trust in me. Maybe my willingness to buy a soda or my providing a condom (or simply my scintillating personality.) but on the topics that some girls would stress about (how much money, the long ride to the hotel, the position during sex, a quickie photo, a room wa-a-y in the back, taking ALL the clothes off, filling out the registration card, taking home the hotel soap) she was most friendly or unconcerned. It's all perhaps a tribute to how well Abdul treats the girls that he likes, but even more so to how nice Holly is and how she treats those she feels comfortable with.

One of Holly's observations, for our benefit: any female cop who is out there to entrap us will have one ear covered, with a hat or scarf or her hair. To cover her earphone, of course.

I have seen in Cops (TV Series) that there are girls who does not have any kind of microphone hidden, the girl who is a cop only does a signal or touch something, or any kind of gestures or look to other place; hence, it doesn't happen nothing until the decoy and the John are in the hotel bedroom, of course, upon, the John is so trusted that he is safe, it appears the cops and it got busted with a special hidden Camera, so Guys, please Do Not Trust on nothing that you don't know or talk about price until you are very totally sure who is the person. Believe, I am not lying, I have seen this scenario many times in COPS; if somebody else has seen this, please reply us back. Now, talking about other issue, Is it possible somebody can give me Digits of a nice girl? Super recently did a report and photo spread on Jen so I don't have to reinvent the wheel here. Picked her up near Huntingdon after dark.
