Been to Thai massage twice now. Needed a good massage after the walk upstairs. Massage was thorough and overall OK. Girls are friendly, but not as nice looking as their CL pics. Intel from this forum on this place was very accurate. The oil feels great going on and in use for the massage, but the smell that lingers until your next shower is a turn off.It must be cheap low cost oil. It leaves sticky feeling an hour or so later. They charge top $$ but us cheap oil. Weird.

Hit the Malden American from a previous post and had a great massage and an excellent time. The rooms are very private, large, comfortable and arranged so you can get great views and you can even roam around a bit. Would be bad news to hear May is gone. But when I asked her, she did say she worked six days a week there so a week off seems understandable. If things are getting slow there, it probably was not a bad time to do it. I guess all we can do is check back in a while and see if she returns. It will also be interesting to see what happens if the place can get sold.

You can get a decent massage in a therapeutic sense. But it is all that oil used. If they had a clean shower they would have more steady buisiness.
Haven't tried Watertown thought it was reported Jolene was there. She is good but plays mind games. Like wanting you to call and be her boyfriend.

You led off by saying you had experienced some places firsthand that give some good massages and no extras and some extras with a louzy massage. While we probably know some of the places already and they are probably in the thread below we all know that these places come and go so maybe you have hit on a secret jewel. so you can give us a review on them and 'join' the community and help yourself out. Yes May was a great lady and I miss her. But hopefully for her sake she has found a way to move on. If you remember I had hinted at some things that had happened there. The best thing for May is to have gotten out. In the meantime we are left with a spa that won't touch the privates at all. Here's to hoping it will be sold and it will go back to the nice place it was.

All along Washington St in Newton I'm seeing door signage changes - places that were previously manicure/pedicure shops are suddenly throwing "massage" on their window displays. I am going to have to stop into a few of them and just snoop around a bit "for my girlfriend," of course.
Also, of all things - I received a coupon in the mail today from Elements Massage, both in Belmont and Newton. Granted, Elements is a national chain and I couldn't imagine even trying a "reputable" location (no offense), but it did make me chuckle. Oh, if only they knew! :)

Guys, I readily discuss my streetwalker action but I usually keep my escort and AMP reports to a minimum. I went in and got the young one. her name is Su**y and while younger than her co-worker is still about late thirties. standard AMP with tip. I was glad to come accross this site and I have read back quite a ways. I usually travel to Revere and have had good luck. I do agree with Asslover on FY. I have been there twice, once before the issues and once after. Both great therputic massages by Anna but no HR.
As you can probably tell I am a new 'Monger". That is a great term as opposed to some of the others.

I get jumpy when I see large massage signs go up. It usually means that the end is near. They need to be small and discreet. I drove past MaySpa a couple of weeks ago, and saw their big sign that said MASSAGE in the upper windows. In this day and age it is like saying BROTHEL LE come bust me.
There is a place near rt 9 in Newton that has mostly older ladies/bbw, does not large sign out and they are discreetly tucked behind another building. No-one can see you enter from the street The place looks legit and judging by the appearance of the masseuses they pull it off. Their high door fee also adds to the legitimacy. YMMV
Once you find a place and take a little time, effort, patience, money, and trust at a place, chances are you will be rewarded. You find a masseuse you like and ask about her schedule. Try to go back there again, call and ask if she is available and schedule with her. Don't be cheap on tips or argue and expect better service next time you go even if you change masseuse. They talk amongst themselves. Also while you are waiting in the reception area, try to place as many faces with names without coming out and directly asking the masseuse for their name. Only one masseuse refused roaming or topless after my first visit, she no longer works there. It is too bad she was younger dirty blond with a nice rack.
All along Washington St in Newton I'm seeing door signage changes - places that were previously manicure/pedicure shops are suddenly throwing "massage" on their window displays. I am going to have to stop into a few of them and just snoop around a bit "for my girlfriend," of course.
Also, of all things - I received a coupon in the mail today from Elements Massage, both in Belmont and Newton. Granted, Elements is a national chain and I couldn't imagine even trying a "reputable" location (no offense), but it did make me chuckle. Oh, if only they knew! :)

Saw a few reports on this board some time ago, was in the area and figured why not. Well "not" would have been the correct answer, . Nice lady though, . But if I could suggest, needs to stick to the front of the house.
. 6 at the door, . 4 tip, I felt bad for her and did leave a tip, she gave it her best shot and was very friendly, the place was also spotless, so she runs a tight ship. However I doubt I will make my way back there, There are to many other options

Wow Jolene! The best damn massage therapist I ever had. She's able to crack your neck, back, knucles. Like a chicken bone. The strength from her fingers are incredible. And the ass on her. What a nice piece of ass she got. But her face is average at best. Too bad I never got past a HR from her, I would luv to tap that ass.
It was good for the first several time until the conversation about how she needs paperwork to stay and work in this country. I don't know bout you guys, but that is just a total turn off for me. I could tolerate those insane questions when she's giving me a massage but when she literally calls me on my cell and ask them questions it was time for me to end it. What a shame, such a talent she had.

Sorry Gents. Haven't had any experiences to write up as of late. Between the tension in Arlington (which seems to be subsiding now) and a small hernia to deal with, I haven't been MP hopping much lately. I plan to try a few new places in the coming weeks, giving me plenty to write about. Good or bad, who knows.

I get jumpy when I see large massage signs go up. It usually means that the end is near. They need to be small and discreet. I drove past MaySpa a couple of weeks ago, and saw their big sign that said MASSAGE in the upper windows. In this day and age it is like saying BROTHEL LE come bust me.
The sign has been up for a long time in the window there. When I first saw it many months ago, I was surprised they'd even be allowed to have one like that. There are quite a few doctors, etc. in the same building. I'm not sure if the city itself even has to approve the sign being seen like it is. Either way, it's just another example of how massage businesses have to be well "connected" with the right people to get away with the things they need to. But we'll see if the place can even survive now that it's up for sale.

Yes May was a great lady and I miss her. But hopefully for her sake she has found a way to move on. If you remember I had hinted at some things that had happened there. The best thing for May is to have gotten out. In the meantime we are left with a spa that won't touch the privates at all. Here's to hoping it will be sold and it will go back to the nice place it was.
Well I called the Green Day Spa (formerly known as Mayspa) today and the woman answering the phone said May was not working. I asked when she would be back and it sounded kind of indefinitey - like it was more than a vacation. Terrible news if she's gone and I sure hope it wasn't due to finding out about the HE's she was giving some of us.
The woman asked me if I still wanted an appointment with someone else and I said I'd rather wait and call back again next week. I wouldn't mind giving someone else a try but given everything going on with the place, I figured I could not count on a HE. So I'll just wait and see for a while.

2. When they all have their massage therapy training listed with their photos, it's legit.
3. When you look at the reviews on the website, and it says something like "My Chiropractor sent me (here)..." it's legit. What chiropractor would ever refer a client to an AMP?
4. When they take credit cards, it's legit.
Unfortunately, I think we can all agree that this place is completely legit. I wish I were wrong, but I doubt it.

I asked one of them to wash it off at the end of a great massage session and she had some wipes and cleaned me up well. It got rid of the oily feeling. Awesome massage in spite of the oil. My legs havent felt this good in years.
That was my take. I guess it was just wishful thinking after looking at some pics of the therapists. I was hoping that someone out there had gotten a hj on the sly from one of them.

Alright I have not been able to stop by here for a couple of weeks but apparently I caused alot of confusion. American girls working in Malden giving massages. The ladies at FY knew it was me and while they understood my post to be flattering they didn't like the publicity. Guys, there is no good reason to go to a female and tell her about our posts.
They are a top notch outfit trying to be legit and lets just say the girl I always request changed her schedule so that my regular visist days she won't be there. I am a very discreet person but blew it in that post and thats their non conforntational way of telling me they arent happy.
The young lady there is an absolute professional and while she understood my posting was positive they do not want attention. I violated that code and am out. They now read the Guide daily thanks to that monger so I'd like to apologize here for mentioning them. My intenetions were truly good. They are under alot of pressure and I just tried being one of the boys, not being a a lurker, and contributed to the group. It backfired when some guy for his own personal motivations decided to inform them of my post (which I think was quite nice and complimentary). I was harsh in my opinion of him and understand the deleted post but I am not a "serial antagonist" and am not saying goodbye to my fellow members in this wonderful community. Just got burned and for that reason am returning to the world of the lurker. To the owners of FY, my apologies for posting. I know you're under pressure in that town and I regret my post although my intentions were good. Jackson, sorry if my previous deleteted post was a bit negative to one individual monger. It was an emotionalthing. I lost a good and special friend at FY yesterday and was embarassed about being confronted with my post. More circumspect and relaxed today but I will miss her. Took senior members advice went over almost 2yrs of post's feel like NEO in the MATRIX "I KNOW KUNG FU".So let me share a recent experience at Oriental Massage in Quincy.Arrived and was met by tall Asian girl mid 20s give her about 7.5 she led me to room and left.The place smelled like dirty diapers W.T.F they running a daycare in the back?I got undressed and didn't notice a top sheet on table or in the room I thought that to be a good sign, I laid down on stomach and waited returned and first thing she did was throw a towel on me.She asked me what kind of massage I wanted I said very strong.I spent nearly 45mins on the table before the flip and after she didnt go below the chest and the session was over was very disappointed give me a decent massage or a HR.On a scale of 0-10 Massage-3 Cleanliness-1 Extras-0. Ok, I felt like a massage (a good one) so I looked in cl therapeutic services. I found this http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ths/652064637.html in quincy. It is a office building. my appointment was after 5 so the building was closed. I called and she told me to go around the side and she opened the door for me. I also tried out this place the other day. For those not familiar with the address it is in the same building and in the space where the old Matrix place was. I found an ad about a week ago on a spa board from the middle of March about an Asian massage and to call Lisa. I subsequently found the new ad on for this place on CL. Answered an ad in craigslist yesterday. This place is in a medical arts building accross from high school in quincy center. Was greeted by a skinny mama san and was taken to a dimly lit room. My take is that googling the lat/lon is more work and LE has the same capabilities to read any post here and do the same google map thing. I have never refrained from posting names and locations as have others. You certainly can post discreetly and the exchange of info can be both discreet and useful.

For me what works with Ge is not that it is a great massage, but value in what I get. Good personality, easy session, nice rack, nothing more for good value for the dollar.

Finally got to take in a massage in Malden. Called Ge for an afternoon appointment. Got there on time and was led to a small but comfortable room. Paid Ge for the 45 minute massage, .80, and she said there were two girls working today and she would send one in. She asked me to tell my friends about it so here goes. I waited for at least 5 minutes before Vanessa came to the room. Massage was as reported here starting at the feet and working upward. The door opened about 10 minutes in and a conversation in Spanish ensued. 5 minutes later, the door opened again. A second woman made her way to the top of the table and introduced herself as Isabella. Vanessa is better looking than Isabella and I was upset they would be switching, however, a 4 handed massage began with Isabella working my neck, shoulders and back while Vanessa worked on my lower torso. The 4 hand massage continued for about 5-10 minutes. When it was time to turn over, Isabella stayed for a bit, but Vanessa finished up. Venessa has a soft smooth touch, but no where near a technically sound massage technique. Massage lasted about 35-40 minutes so advice about taking the 30 minute might be valid, but I felt the 35-40 session I got was rushed and the 30 minute session would be worse.
Overall, I would recommend with a grade of B-/C+. I would expect better service next time. This is in comparison to the B/B+ service you can get in Watertown, Quincy, Boston and elsewhere.
I have to ask this question to the members here.
Is this the best MP in Malden? Please post or PM me with your opinions.

If you go through the RI boards it will be very easy to find out what you can get and where. Just be specific in what you are looking for FS or non-fs. There are about 4-5 AMPs for each.

Noticed on Cl a review of a hairsalon thats being advertised as having a cute petite enthusiastic woman of color giving massage in a cutained (not fully enclosed) back part of the salon.
Searched review and saw prices fluctauting day to day and even on same day from 70 an hour up to 90. Worse than my local gas pump in volatility. Not a good sign when prices vary day to day but review (could have been a planted one) was more than two thumbs up!

Must have been 80 degrees in the massage room. Nothing like sweating right before your massage. This first room is too close to the middle of the shop, you can hear everything. There are walls, but it feels like there are people all around you.
That being said, the woman was attractive and very sweet. Gave tip up front as I was hoping to avoid the usual first time uneasiness on her part. Seemed to work, she said "You been here before, right? " I said yes and she said it must have been with the other masseuse. She told me there were 2 of them always there. Yet it was clear from the phone call and the other room that she was the only one there at the time.
Very nice massage. Not too hard, not too soft. Not too much oil. More of a serious massage than I was expecting, and much more of a turn on than I was expecting. I would agree with Masmanb's assessment of Sernity's lack of extras and somewhat crappy facility. They are definately doing the bait and switch; offering late appt's, 4 and 6 hand massage and outcalls.
However, there are a couple good looking ladies there. Jessica is mid 20's or so, big rack thin and good looking. Sylvia is mid-late 30's and nice looking as well as pleasant.

Recently made a trip to GoldenWater. Location is simple enough with a small amount of dedicated parking. Spa itself it located downstairs in a basement office, although there is a rear walkout. I won't say it stunk there, but it had a peculiar smell. The entry door was locked and I had to knock to get in.
Was greated by therapist (didn't catch her name and really didn't ask later) and paid the .7 house fee. Room itself was OK, through there was a curtain which I can only assume seperated another table.
The massage I requested was light but got more like a medium. To her credit, she did a reasonable massage. Absolutely no teasing near the jewels, much to my dismay and repeated encouragement.
On the flip, all business. I even moved her hand near the pleasure center and she politely said "No, not legal". DAMN! There wasn't even any teasing or casual contact. NOTHING!
Got a hot towel wipe off and a pleasant thank you. Left a .1 tip simply because it was a good massage.
Now on the surface, I would think extras were possible, and they may be with someone else (this girl had a tramp stamp on her back, probably 30's).

Took the trip to Brazil on the N Shore Yesterday. Same as BB35 spoke of. Tough to find if you do not mapquest. On street parking is plentiful. Area apears ok. First of all. To NH Maestro. I'm sorry to hear about your experience at FY yesterday. I'm sure it was just a result of it being your first visit. They do tend to be careful these days for their own protection. On a first time visit, it is necessary to be quite forward.
That said, I'll report on another good experience I had at FY yesterday. On one of my previous posts from a few weeks ago, I had mentioned a misunderstanding with the name of the girl I saw. From that confusion, I had somehow concluded that she was the infamous Anna. That theory went right out the window yesterday when I saw someone else named. Wait for it. Anna. It could be that the last time I was hearing more correctly than I thought and her name had actually begun with "M" (maybe the Mimi that NH Maestro mentioned? ). Either that, or there may be two Annas there.
I digress.
The real story is that I called FY shortly after 2:00 yesterday to see if they were available then. Turns out they had an opening if I came right away. I showed up and was greeted by a reasonably attractive woman (not "hot", but reasonably attractive) in her 30s.
She brought me into the first room. That was unfortunate because it seems that whoever is in the front room is "on duty" to answer the door or the phone. That meant she had to do both at points during the massage, for which she dutifully apologized.
The massage was very good, although I was worried I might not have an eventful experience because the entire time that I was face down, she was very vigilant about keeping me properly draped. My fears were alleviated upon the flip. At that point, I asked her what her name was. She very clearly enunciated "Anna. " "Ding, ding, ding" went the bells in my head. I've visited all of the Chinatown shops that list on either CL or the Phoenix except one -- the lady on the 4th floor above Aiko. Yesterday, I figured I'd give her a try. Called up, nobody answered, but the sweet voice on the answering machine got me excited. Figured that maybe she was with a client, and if I headed on down to Chinatown and called again, she'd be available.
Second phone call, I just got the answering machine again. Either she doesn't take calls while working, or it was her day off. Damn. I considered the old standbys, but was in the mood for some new hands. Started walking around Chinatown, wondering what to do.
Damn, I noticed, that neighborhood has a *lot* of hair salons. Far more hair salons per block than Back Bay. Do Chinese people really get their hair cut that much? I doubt it. I started thinking, most of massage places that advertise, they're hair salons. So maybe some of the other hair salons offer the same services, they're just a little more discrete.
At the same time I was thinking that, I noticed that the places I was walking by all tended to have their phone numbers in great big digits on the outside of the building.
Figured there couldn't be any harm in calling and asking politely if they offered massages.
First one that I called, answer was no. Second one that I called, answer was yes. I asked how much, it was 70 for the hour, figured that was a good sign they were part of the industry.
They had a room in the back, just like every other salon we've talked about on hair. The girl who gave me the salon was attractive. Not as skilled as some places I've gone, likely she doesn't have thirty massage customers every week. On the other hand, she was full of energy and tried hard. She definitely wasn't just going through the motions. I felt like she was trying to earn repeat business. The last third of the massage was especially good. Anyway, I encourage folks to explore Chinatown. But if you're specifically curious about the place I went, it's in the China Trade Center. Meaning, people on the street won't see you going into the salon itself (and when I went there was noone in the salon other than those who worked there.) First of all, although this mostly belongs in the R. I. Section I am a Mass. Monger and know most of you have either visited or have pondered a visit to the state the inspired "Family Guy". I haven't mongered or visited an MP in a while. In the meantime I've saved up alot of capital and "energy" and gave in to the haranging of my two asian mongering coworkers who say its Rhode Island or bust (One of these guys lives in Quincy and won't even think of wasting his time at the AMPs there). These two guys were born in Hong Kong and like a french guy knows his restaurants these guys will settle for nothing less than the best AMPs.
They tend to make a whole day of it down there, either staying in the same joint all day or doing the AMP equivilant of barhopping. I also want to thank those three fellow mongers here who helped me with advice the pros/cons on various MPs, locations, "pricepoints". Etc when I inquired about R. I. Thanks for the PMs. They helped immensely.
Besides reviewing the RI boards and looking at the ads (in that weekly paper)for 10 or so establishments in providence, pawtucket, and central falls I narrowed my choices down to either DT or CH. I decided on CH as I'm always a bit anxious on a first mission to a new area and liked the fact they have their own private locale and dedicated parking lot. DT is in a more congested location and the closest parking is in a parking lot closeby so CH it was.
Before I went I visited google maps and streetview so I wouldn't get lost but got lost anyway as the directions in the weekly newspaper from 95 heading south to exit 23 are erroneous. The ones for 95 heading north are dead on. So my advice if you are not familiar with the 'hood' is to continue down to exit 22 and do a U turn and follow the directions heading north and get off at that exit 23. Much less confusion While lost at my first exit, I saw awhole bunch of street girls (mostly black and latina and looking a bit rough), two strip clubs (cadillac lounge, foxy lady), two adult bookstores, and another AMP by chance (japanese health or something) on Broad Street. Talk about a target rich environment!
I found CH and was very pleased that its a private enclosed area. The desk girl asked how I found out about CH and showed me a waiver form. My point is to ward off the upsellers but show appreciation for honest providers).
With this young lady I was given a menu with very very high priced options and she wouldn't budge. I said I only had 'X' amount and she just smiled but I could see in her eyes that she knew exactly how much I had. Then it dawned on me. The fives minutes I was in the sauna she must have looked at my IDs and cash and came back for me. (I know she saw my IDs because she slipped verbally and kind of knew what I did for a living based on my work ID). I know some of you would have been pissed but I took no umbrage at her tactics. I state and emphasize there was no theft. Not totally honest but so what. Just getting an idea of who this non-regular walk in was by looking at my IDs and also a brilliant tactic by spying on what I had in my wallet so she could have her own price reference.
She smiled and wouldn't budge on some menu options even when I miraculously came up with more much money than what I originally stated I had. Not until I came perilously close to the full contents did she agree, put the menu away, and purr at me. Hats off to her! Paranoid in other situations, I am admittedly complacent in AMPs. This girl didn't rob me she outplayed me at my own game (happens everyday on Wall Street). Just as I consulted guys beforehand on how to haggle she like a used car dealer who asks you off the bat "How much do you want to spend" got the drop on me first. There wasn't even a dollar missing. Point is she knew she was drop dead gorgeous (I'm talking Kimora Lee Simmons), knew she was a siren who couldn't be ignored and therefore knew she could purr at me and get it that way. I have never seen an asian this drop dead gorgeous in my life and I raised the flag of financial defeat.
I quickly realized I was not in Mass and fellow Mass guys come on down! This drop dead woman who I had no business being with in real life then pampered me like a king, cooed in my ear and told her life story. Like a geisha who was trained in the arts of soothing frazzled travellers she is so smooth and professional that you just enjoy watching her operate. Is she a hawk? Yes! Does she peek (but I reiterate does not take anything) in your wallet when she leaves you in the sauna? I don't have CCTV footage but I would confidently say she does and in a strange way admire her tactic. When I got dressed, she locked my arm in hers and walked me over to her fellow hottie Korean and introduced me. Gave me a drink and waved from the door as I drove off calm, serene, and with a very thin wallet.
Now, would I repeat with her. Maybe, but most likely not. I'd go back to the establishment and see a different girl and try for much cheaper. Also, the only complaint I had was with the TS and sauna. At least one review on this site said that HE was offered there. Like many places, though, it may be on a case-by-case basis.
I actually didn't go to her building while I was in chinatown, just called her number multiple times. When she didn't answer, I figured it wasn't worth going by. So, it wasn't me while you were there.

Great report on CH. The money is well spent if one doesn't mind driving to RI. The only downside is that I have never seen the same girl twice. Btw, the place is located in Downtown. The best time to go there is 11-12 on Sunday. Downtown Prov is dead on Sundays. No traffic, free parking, you'll be the first customer so no waiting, and in RI perfectly legit.

Great post. We have no idea what AMP mongering is about up here. RI is full time all the time.
The wallet check is pretty standard when TS is offered. Most regulars will skip it for party time. Plus they get a break for the standards. Typically its a good way to set your max and let her know. Hiding the rest. Money clip full works for me with the rest in the secret spot somewhere else.

IMO you guys are way too trusting. Of course your folding money is safe at any established place. But I for one am not about to leave my ID, my credit cards, and so on, back in the room when I'm getting a shower. Every single massage parlor (Asian or otherwise) that I have been to in the last 40 years has had a little waterproof bag for your personal belongings (except for a few that only had lockable lockers, like Marlow's in CT; and that always made me uneasy, I knew damned well Marlow had a duplicate key). Take it with you to the shower, sauna, wherever. Of course you would know immediately if your cash is lifted. But if your credit card is run through an embosser, and 3 months later a charge from some random business shows up on your bill, how would you ever connect that with the AMP? And if someone can get to your ID without your knowing, all kinds of bad stuff can happen--again, with no trail back to the AMP. Why take any chances?

I visted this place 2x hoping for more. Got a fair massage with no extras.
Draping was used and there was no hint of anything extra, even on my second visit. I won't be returning.

The fives minutes I was in the sauna she must have looked at my IDs and cash and came back for me. (I know she saw my IDs because she slipped verbally and kind of knew what I did for a living based on my work ID). I know some of you would have been pissed but I took no umbrage at her tactics. I state and emphasize there was no theft. Not totally honest but so what. Just getting an idea of who this non-regular walk in was by looking at my IDs and also a brilliant tactic by spying on what I had in my wallet so she could have her own price reference..I have no problem with them checking my Wallet for some ID to let them know that i'm not part of LE. The first time it happened I was a little disturbed, but after that I knew how to play their game. Now I just bring a set amount of cash, My ID, and a money clip to the AMP.
Another trick I learn is that the really Hot looking girls tends to set a high price for FS and they usually won't go down much. But if you go early enought in the day they would be more reasonable. Later in the day, depending on the day, if they already hit their mark they problaly won't budge.

I have visited 2x and have had a fair massage with no extras.
I was draped the whole time and it waas pretty clear to me that there would be no extra activity, even on the second visit. I will not be returning.

Anna is pretty hot IMHO. Having to deal with the interruptions of the front room and the phone are more than offset by her performance. She is one of the few Asians that has dirty talked me really well at the end of the performance.Hey Dan,

The same folks I believe re opened on highland ave in needham but are now closed.
Literally was at ATM before I went. Heck had receipt in my wallet. I was expecting a. 4 tip but brought. 6 in case. After massage only. 2 was in wallet. And I was relaxed and pissed at same time cause I didn't have enought for the expected finish.

Showed up and was greeted by a pretty good looking woman, I think her name was Tracey, probably about a 7. Paid the house fee of $70, and wasn't offered a table shower. Went straight to the massage.
Overall the massage was decent. Not great but okay. There were several other mongers coming in around the time I was there, and it was a little annoying having the other woman keep hounding Tracey about whether she was finished yet or not (in Chinese).
So on the flip she kept me pretty well covered, but she started telling me how handsome I was. I played along thinking things would turn out well, but when she finished and I took off the towel and asked for more, she said no way. I tried to endear myself to her. Saying all the right things, and that I'm not a cop, etc. But there was no joy whatsoever.
So my question. What am I doing wrong? Other places (different states) that I've been haven't been nearly this difficult. Are there any reliable places in Watertown or Cambridge or Somerville that I can count on? Sorry to whine. But I'm getting sick of dropping $70-$100 bucks for nothing!
Needless to say, I left very frustrated today.

It sounds like the only thing you're doing wrong is expecting a HE on the first visit, because they have no idea who you are. You'd have to become a repeat customer or read back through the posts to learn "tactics" for trying to get a HE on the first try. Going from shop to shop visiting only once at each is going to bring you a lot of frustration down the line. Especially in MA - if you're looking for everything in one visit, your absolute best bet is Rhode Island, seriously.
Tracy's actually the oldest lady at FY - in her 50s, believe it or not. But she's got an amazing rack. Go back and you'll probably find out.
Table showers are no longer offered at FY - part of the Arlington crackdown a few months back.
My suggestion: if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
