Perhaps she means I work *selectively* for tips?
My reading is that there an assumption that a tip will *always* be given, and that's just poor logic to build on.
My last heated discussion on this topic revealed the girl expected a $20 tip for just a massage. An incredible assumption, based on the $80 house fee. That's a 25% tip, which is reserved for excellent service in my book. A 10-15% tip for "OK" service would be $8-12, centering around $10, and that's for a fairly high house fee.
Her point was that to do anything (that we like) , she would need more motiviation. IOW, given that she normally sees $20 without doing something "yucky" (I'm putting words in her mouth (as opposed to what I really wanted to put in her mouth) , just describing her face as she suffered through The Worst HJ Ever) , she'd expect to see an additional $40 OVER the "normal" $20 before she'll "touch it.". Those were her words.
The ill logic here is that she was constructing a world where everyone gives her $20 for being so beautiful and giving a lousy massage. I don't believe that actually happens, but if she believes that, that's what she's going to tell me and everyone else.
If it were possible to advise them that discussing prices is not in their best interest, legally and still proceed with what we'd like to happen, that would be ideal. But it won't work that way.
And if there's a language barrier, it's even worse.

After reading through BP Body Rubs, and before going for my regular Sunday massage, I decided to give Magic Hands in Plymouth a shot. They have an ad reading "$30/60 min". So I figured how bad could it be for $30. I got there after a long drive, met a very average looking Asian lady who pointed to a sign on the wall that read $30 grand opening, $40 today. I told her what the ad read online and she shook her head, no, no. 40. Now for ten dollars I really couldn't care less, but the ad was there this morning and probably still is. If she was a looker, I might have stayed, no, I would have stayed. But she wasn't so I turned around and walked out. So I still wanted a massage before my regular massage (I do this occasionally) and after reading about all the supposedly "new girls" at 40 Harrison, I called a number that advertises "new girl, Cindy. 22, 105 lbs". Just what the doctor ordered for me. I called and said "I wanted an appointment with the new girl Cindy". The answer I got was "ya, ya, ya, what time you come"? I said "I'll be there in 45 minutes, but I want to see Cindy." "ya, ya, ya, you been here before"? Now I'm thinking she's not even hearing what I'm saying and I should just scratch this whole idea, I know there is no Cindy. Well I got there and of course, no Cindy, no 22 year old, no 105 lbs. But I stayed anyway, Selina was her name and was actually ok, very friendly, accommodating & decent looking. I suppose their ad isn't much worse than all the ads with fake pictures.

I've found that when they decieve you like that it usually ends up being a less than stellar visit. There are too many good places still left with girls that you can have fun with.

Hello fellow mongers, longtime reader first time poster. Just want to give my 2cents on some of the AMPs in my area.
Wendy in Wakefield: finally back from China. Attractive for an older Asian (maybe late 30's) very nice to talk to, good massage, left happy. Standard 60/40.
Hong in Tewksbury: ok looking for an older Asian, nice T and A. Waaay overrated by some of you guys on her massage skills, and her rates are high 70/40.
Sofia in Wilmington: younger than most in the area, nice to look at, just a little bit of a gut (especially at her age) massage skill ok, teasing is very good, will leave happy 60/40.

This "teasing" I described was more sensual touching but no where near junior. Upon flip she made no attempt to cover me but continued on with this sensual yet nonsensual teasing. Before I knew it she was like all done and I was quite displeased because not only did I not get a massage but I got no hr. My logic is she must have just been uncomfortable with the situation (though I would have no idea why as I am pretty young and nonthreatening). If there are no extras there there is no way she would be allowed to continue working because she is probably the worst masseuse I've ever had. I assume it was just a function of the situation yet that was my experience.

Went to BL in Wilmington today (7007) for the 1st time after seeing ad on CL and hearing generally good things about Sophia. Called ahead (always a good idea, right?) , made appointment for mid-afternoon, requested her specifically. Woman I spoke to asked me to arrive 30 mins later, which I took as a good indication things would line up. I arrived exactly on time and was met by a woman in her mid- to late-40s, maybe older, friendly enough but notably unattractive. There were voices coming from one of the rooms and I was quickly ushered into the first room by the door, which had only a couch and some basic furniture in it. A kind of hanging out room. Suddenly the second room door opened and out came a fairly appealing much younger masseuse with a red-pink streak in her long hair. Was that Sophia? (don't know, but she was definitely the better of the two). She and my companion exchanged some serious talk in a hurry and I was steered into the couch room. Door closes, lights down, and in very bad English I was pointed to the couch and told I could have 30 mins only (I always opt for an hour, but this seemed like an appropriate duration considering). Should have left instead, but you know how it goes. I undressed, settled onto my stomach on the couch and realized it was too short so my legs hung over the armrest. Something told me I wasn't getting any kind of therapeutic massage on this day.
She ("DeeDee") started on my back with a bit of oil, quickly got to business and began stimulating the boys, gaining the desired effect. After a few minutes of this I turned over and was allowed some UTC roaming up top (not much there so I stopped). A good amount of baby oil was applied and the HR process began. Had to slow her down as it was all too mechanical. To my surprise she began a decent BBBJ (was surprised because there was baby oil there). Both techniques applied simultaneously quickly worked. BBJCIMTC (spit). She left and returned with a hot towel and helped clean me up). I can't say it was terrible; it was ok (if very fast) , but the combination of room and masseuse change, hurry-up technique, and unappealing atmosphere makes it a definite no repeat. Your draw of June (I think she's pretty hot looking with those juicy twin sisters of hers) I thought was a good one but not sure why she was "cold" to you. I AGREE that her skills are horribly lacking but I know her body to be very enticing. Grade A for asain.
There are a couple of others there such as a slightly more mature gal that often times wears skin tight outfits, kinda on the taller side with long straight black hair (don't remember her name) that gives the kung-fu grip HJ. She is pretty friendly then there is the gal that dons the spectacles I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet.

Located just off the highway in Woburn. I went on a weekend and if I were to return I would probably do the same. It is located in an office building and I think it would be a little awkward during work hours. When I called she took a last minute appt. Probably 40ish and a little chubby, but was in the need for a quick fix so what the hell. Not a bad massage, probably a 7 and a decent tease. Good hr to completion and she made sure to get it all. Not mechanical at all. I didn't try for any OTC or UTC bc she wasn't exactly my type. Damage was 60 for the hr and left 40. Not a bad experience if your in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way either.

Went to Ninja Spa in Quincy again and experienced some new talent there named Ivy. She's attractive with a nice bod and long silky hair that she will occasionally brush slowly against you as she's massaging. That's one of a variety of sensations that she utilized to give a stimulating experience I can't wait to enjoy again. Went to Ninja Spa in Quincy and I saw Ivy again. She's attractive with a nice bod as I've mentioned before. As most of you know the more times you see someone the more you know what to expect so I was excited to see her again. She's very knowledgeable and receptive as to what pressures to use and what areas to focus on for a tantalizing massage. I've found Ninja has a clean, friendly atmosphere where I've been more than satisfied with everyone I've seen there and I always leave very happy.

I have not been there but if you read the posts and the fact that he has only reported on Ninja Spa all 4 times that he may be a the owner of the establishment. After having been to a couple of other places and having been dissatisfied as many of you have reported, I was thrilled when I finally went to Ninja. It's been a sure thing for me everytime and that keeps me going back without feeling the need to explore anywhere else. It was your posts that got me to try it in the first place and my satsfaction at Ninja that made me want to join this forum and share what I think is a reliable place.
I would appreciate if any senior members who have been to that place elaborate.

However they are on my boycott list because of a bad report that I made. They gave away an appointment I had even though I was on time and I posted it here and the owner confronted me the next time I came about me and another guy that made negitive reports about the place and told me she did not want reports written about her. When I told her I am going to write reports and the best way to handle that was to give great service. Well after going back & forth about what and when I should write on here and then making my massage very uncomforable I decided to boycott the place for now. Now even though I do think they do an overall good job I do not want to have to argue with my massage girl. It make it hard to get the mission complete. At some point I will return. Most likely when nothing is open or I am to lazy to travel very far.
The moral of the story is they are good but they are not the best. There is better in Quincy (angel's just to add 1) and many more around the state. I am not saying not to go here just know what to expect. Especially if you make a negitive report.

Sophia has been my choice and always met my needs. Clean, good parking, discreet enterance and service I've always been satisfied with has been my experience. YMMV of course.

Was in the Wakefield area so I figured I'd take the plunge.
Called & booked an appointment for 1 hour. Arrived and got "YouYou". Wanted Wendy but she wasn't available (she was with another monger).
YouYou was nice enough. Asked for a medium massage and got a medium massage. When it came to the tease it was quite nice (feather touch all-around) and her HR technique was quite enjoyable and I'd ask for her again. I just hope this place will be around for awhile as both providers aim to please.
Damage: The usual (60 house / 40 tip).

For FS 1021 not that I did that much, sux OS is gone, would have loved to try FS there. So ya cannot blame a guy for going back to what he likes. Lately I have had more misses then hits. Though Billings I like, of the three gals one is way to big for my liking an not much roaming but the tease is to die for. OK I tend to rant. So ya in summery, all I would do is Angles and Lily's for the longest time, found what I wanted and stuck to it.

Once I found Angles (the old place, loved Amy) and Liliy's in RI its all I hit. For FS 1021 not that I did that much, sux OS is gone, would have loved to try FS there. So ya cannot blame a guy for going back to what he likes. Lately I have had more misses then hits. Though Billings I like, of the three gals one is way to big for my liking an not much roaming but the tease is to die for. OK I tend to rant. I've only been a member for a short amount of time. After having been to a couple of other places and having been dissatisfied as many of you have reported, I was thrilled when I finally went to Ninja. It's been a sure thing for me everytime and that keeps me going back without feeling the need to explore anywhere else. As far as ninja goes it has been a very reliable spot for moi. I haven't submitted recent report but have been several times in the past few months. School st. Seemed to get legit, (lily) on last visit to school said no more HJ. You do yourself and that is not for me. Anyway back at ninja jennifer seems to be running it. I was asking (in case others knew) whether Sophia was the girl with the colorful streaks in her hair who I glimpsed on my way in but who was otherwise occupied. She looked appealing, much more so than the one I drew. The reason the session was so quick is that a) there was no possibility of a massage on a couch, and be) I kind of just wanted it over with and didn't hold back. Take all the big bills ($20 and higher) out of your wallet and stick them someplace else like a coat pocket. When you walk in, if you like the girl, pay up and enjoy. If you don't like her, pull out your wallet and show her you are short of cash, then say you have to hit the ATM. Out you go.
Now what happens if the girl who answers the door is not your masseuse? In my experience that is rare. You just have to ask if she will be doing the massage.

The reason I say this is I had many massages last 50 % the time I paid etc. They say: " we very busy. We make up for it next time. Much better next time". I walkd out the door and they say: " what about tip". I then say " Next time much better tip, very busy".

The girls there are overall very good. I have nemerous reports on here about them. Sometimes you might get blocked trying utc but you will always leave happy. However they are on my boycott list because of a bad report that I made. They gave away an appointment I had even though I was on time and I posted it here and the owner confronted me the next time I came about me and another guy that made negitive reports about the place and told me she did not want reports written about her. When I told her I am going to write reports and the best way to handle that was to give great service. Well after going back & forth about what and when I should write on here and then making my massage very uncomforable I decided to boycott the place for now. Now even though I do think they do an overall good job I do not want to have to argue with my massage girl. It make it hard to get the mission complete. At some point I will return. Most likely when nothing is open or I am to lazy to travel very far.
The moral of the story is they are good but they are not the best. There is better in Quincy (angel's just to add 1) and many more around the state. I am not saying not to go here just know what to expect. Especially if you make a negitive report.

I treat these places just like any other establishment I go to.
I loved her face of "disbelief". What I said : " VERY BUSY, MUCH BETTER TIP NEXT TIME, NO RUSH". If she was smart she would be a bigperson and think about what I said and not that I am a bad client. I actually was doing her a favor in a way and telling her: " you get back what you put out". She has no one to blame but herself.
The smart business folks " like myself". Will give consisten quality service to their clients. Some clients are jerks and want more service for their money but in the end I make a LOT more money giving everyone excelent service. I think ANGELS massage owner has figured this out and that is why she is successfull.

ARG.I have to agree with ARG, no tip is very rude. Just because we here expect and are used to extras does not mean every establishment is on board with our wants. The business is run by them not us, their rules, not ours. There are many more massage places that don't give extras than those that do. I go to a LMT every week for an hour with no HE and none is expected. I leave $30 every time. Then if I'm looking for more I hit other places during the week. Your massuse did her job and should have been tipped as ARG says $10 minimum per hour.

The $60 house fee is just that, for the use of the house, facilities and whoever is there doing the laundry, cleaning, mamason etc. Not the person doing the massage. She may get a VERY small amount from the house fee, but not always. Granted if the service is poor then less of a tip is appropriate, but to leave nothing is absurd. In the case of restaurants, waiters & waitresses get paid minimum wage. Even if the service is poor, a tip of somekind should be given. If service was that bad send a note to management, but the person did work for you. I feel very strongly about this as I have worked for tips as a part time bartender (which, by the way is an excellent part time job. There is more "take out" than you could ever imagine). That's my rant for the day.

Seeing the recent discussion about Ninja thought I would throw my two cents in. Not sure who Bruce Lee is (may very well be the owner.) , but my experience there has always been good. Have been there a number of times, recent visit I called and was told I could see Eva, arrived about 20 minutes later and had to wait another ten minutes or so. I typically go for 1/2 hour and enjoy the variety there, have never been asked about reports. As I said, enjoy my visits and do leave happy.Is Ninja on Coddington Street in Quincy very close to the highschool? Thanks in Advance!

I generally agree with both Smoke (leaving no tip is considered rude) and Maximus (mandatory tips are overrated). The answer likely lies somewhere in between. I seldom leave no tip, both at restaurants and massage parlors but if a massage parlor is going to specialize in massages and offer no extras than I would expect at least an average massage from this type of establishment. I rated 33 Fayette's massage a 2 on a 0 to 10 scale which, if I recall, is one of the worst I ever experienced. No shoulder rub, no foot massage, no arm massage, only 5 minutes on my back. 2 minute back walk, very weak overall. Simply moving around my lower leg is not going to do it. Tipping for that type of sub-par service would only encourage a repetition of this type of poor behavior and negatively impact the next client. Tipping for that type of sub-par service would also make me feel foolish as though I'm impervious and uneducated to quality and my surroundings (recall the comment in The Outlaw Josey Wales."don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining" fits well when you have poor service followed by comments such as "why no tip?" or "good time right?"). Leaving no tip is rude but it is also a key signal to improve the service, if obviously very poor, or find another activity in which you are competitive.

I have to agree with ARG, no tip is very rude. Just because we here expect and are used to extras does not mean every establishment is on board with our wants. The business is run by them not us, their rules, not ours. There are many more massage places that don't give extras than those that do. I go to a LMT every week for an hour with no HE and none is expected. I leave $30 every time. Then if I'm looking for more I hit other places during the week. Your massuse did her job and should have been tipped as ARG says $10 minimum per hour.

I believe going into the New year I will do the simple math for a session, ie, if the house fee is $60 for an hour that is a dollar a minute. If I am off the table at the 40 minute mark, well. 40 mins x $1 / minute is a $40 house fee. Naturally that comes out of the tip as she has already taken the house fee. Of course I will leave with a smile and " More tip next time"

For some reason I allowed many providers to walk all over me, double book sessions (when I was a reliable regular) , and answer phones every 10 minutes even when they has a receptionist. I finally saw a program on Television that was about sticking up for yourself. If I did nothing then I was saying : " Please victumize me! I am here for the sole purpose of you ripping me off. I am a sucker or patsy!"
I now tip fairly and I have reminded a few providers that their tip is in their hands not mine. I only react to the quality that I get.
If they get a $ 10 tip from me that is a signal that they need to take a hard look at themselves and their treatment of me.
I do not take "looks" or "age" into it as those are fixed items and out of the control of the provider.
When customer tip for poor service they hurt everyone.

Was hoping someone could recommend a (biological) female at Jolin's. I'm really in need of a good Thai massage, not just a rub down. I'm looking for a good massage with stretching. Would obviously like to be satisfied with my experience upon leaving however the quality of the massage is more important for this visit. Was thinking about going to S'bai but the terrible attitudes and lack of efforts are keeping me from returning. A shame because they do have talent, just choose to get you in and out and grab their tip. Any info is appreciated and I can exchange info for an apt massage with trusted seniors.

Visited recently. Was greeted by Summer, a 30 something woman, fairly attractive. But handed off to another woman who did the massage. She had near-zero English. Had real trouble telling me her name; sounded like Tel-a-for. Maybe Jennifer. She was older, less attractive. Massage was OK; nothing special. Fairly good tease but ending at jackhammer speed. Worked, though barely. Full hour and no interruptions. I think the turnover of providers is such that you can't count on anything.

So are you saying you don't tip for average service, only for superior service at restaurants & legit massages? If that's what you mean, and it sounds like it is, then think of it this way. The $60 house fee is just that, for the use of the house, facilities and whoever is there doing the laundry, cleaning, mamason etc. Not the person doing the massage. She may get a VERY small amount from the house fee, but not always. Granted if the service is poor then less of a tip is appropriate, but to leave nothing is absurd. In the case of restaurants, waiters & waitresses get paid minimum wage. Even if the service is poor, a tip of somekind should be given. If service was that bad send a note to management, but the person did work for you. I feel very strongly about this as I have worked for tips as a part time bartender (which, by the way is an excellent part time job. There is more "take out" than you could ever imagine). 20 tip for legit massage is pretty generous. I usually leave 10 tip. Sometimes 15 tip if the massage only cost 50 to begin with.

I am 46 and not in perfect shape but I still go to Mandala around 7 times a year when I am out there.
I never go without exact change and the hide my cash in different parts of my wallet, shoes etc.

Only time for a quick review-went to AMP in Billerica#572-Anyways-was shorted on time-20 mins (paid for half hour) Soft touch which is what I asked for. Therapist was Cindy-not a looker for sure. Linda wasn't there today-bummer. At the flip was off to the races if you know what I mean. Probably due to the walk in monger (I had appt) that rang the bell just after I got started. Instead of turning him away, I heard her usher him to a room and told to wait. I knew then I was in trouble. My first sub par experience here so hopefully just a bad day. 40/40.

Went to Angel's in Quincy today and saw Lisa, I may be mistaken but I think she is new. Anyway very attractive girl with a descent body, extremely friendly. I used to be a regular at mandal many years ago but stopped due to the rude front desk person, They charge at least 10 to $ 20 for the house fee than other places, front desk woman refused to make change. So if the fee was say $ 70 and I had $ 80 in twenty dollar bills she would say TOO BAD. The funny thing is all the cash was kept in a small locak box so she had to open the box to put your money in and it was arranged with row of different denominations ($ 50, $ 20, $10 etc). So why be a jerk?
I did like the providers even thought they were much older than other places. I like Julie, and Kip. .
Oh yes. They had two rate plans. The 1 hour massage which only lasted 45 minutes and the 30 minute massage. I have not been back and do not miss the place. To many better options out there.

This Gerry person really wants to put an end to Mandala. I suspect Gerry owns a competing legit massage / salon. He ended going in twice at a cost of $ 70 upfront each time. Thats $ 140 investment to put a place out of business. Then to write a letter to the local PD. Mandala, your days are numbered!I think they were $80 last time I read a reliable review. Was hoping someone could recommend a (biological) female at Jolin's. I'm really in need of a good Thai massage, not just a rub down. I'm looking for a good massage with stretching. Would obviously like to be satisfied with my experience upon leaving however the quality of the massage is more important for this visit. Was thinking about going to S'bai but the terrible attitudes and lack of efforts are keeping me from returning. I've been in the situation of having my hour cut short a few times but not anymore! If the massage is for an hour with no HE I pay. 6 for the hour and. 2 for the tip. If there is an HE included then I pay the. 4 whether or not the HE was top notch or sub par. There has only been a few times that I had the massuese tell me "Ok times up " at the 45 minute mark after the HE when I had paid. 6 for the hour so I would then leave. 2 for the ending. Of course the massuese in each case was not happy but I would always tell them you can get the other. 2 from the owner. My reasoning being that 45 minute massage should be. 4 with a HE. 4.
I did realize that I was taking my frustration out on the owner and that wasn't right. So now I just speak up and I always carry a watch on me now so if the time is "shorted" I speak up and tell the massuese that I have " X "amount of time left and that I want the massage finished. And of course my request is met with a "pissed off " look but with compliance.I was recently shorted almost a half hour, this at an AAMP after I had, unfortunately, tipped in advance after being subjected to her haggling for extras. After those, I thought the massage would resume, but the girl was getting dressed and said she had to go. I just pointed to the clock saying that I had paid for an hour, and that I wanted her to continue. In hindsight, I probably should not have let her flip me so soon (or held my load back a bit longer). She just looked confused (communication barrier) , but I wasn't leaving. Probably will handle differently next time, but under the circumstances, I think that was the best I could do.

I saw a potentially promising new (to me) AMP open up near me, didn't find any reviews, so I took one for the team. Got there relatively early. A bit past their posted opening time but they still had the closed sign out front. I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for ASAP. Waited for a bit then came in. Mamasan took me in to a cleanish and cold room and took my cash. I opted for the 4 hand special they posted. She tried to charge $100, but I reminded her the ad said $90 and saved myself a few bucks.
Got undressed, eventually had a cute, thin mid-30s girl and her slightly chubby older friend come in to start the massage. They proceeded to converse a lot in Chinese, including a lot of shouting over the wall to mamasan. Shortly after they started, another monger came in and I could hear every word clearly. Not a lot of privacy.
Massage was pretty good, but not as great as I was hoping. One stayed down on my feet / legs the entire time and alternated between basically no force and trying to push my muscles out of my legs. The other gave a consistently medium mediocre massage up top. Not bad overall, just nothing to write home about. No real teasing before the flip, and after the flip they continued more or less the same way. At the end, one walked out and I thought the other (cuter) one would go for the HE, but nothing.
YMMV, but I came up short. Either I gave off a bad vibe, or they're being cautious to start. If anyone has any luck here, I'd like to know.

They advertise regularly on CL.If you are going to take a "purist " approach to "Thai " massage experience around these parts you need to have a very secure feeling about your sexuality what ever way it works right for you or else you may drive yourself crazy if you wish to partake.
There are good mates' here that post their "Thai" experiences but you need to be prepared with your "secure" self if a choice needs to be made if "your lady" you expected is not available. Do you simply say "no thank you " and leave? Do you "see" what your other choices are and go for it?

I only ask for Jila though and won't see anyone else. She is pretty, does not haggle with me, and is very sweet.

I recently returned to Diva after snooping around Quincy for awhile. My previous visit was a bit underwhelming, but I was willing to give it another shot.
I was greeted a lot more warmly the second time around. The masseuse who had given me a massage before was working in place of the mamasan. She is a little too old for my taste, so I tried to excuse myself, but she immediately offered a younger girl named Jennifer without any hassle.
Jennifer is great. Great technique, great personality. She is one of the few masseuses that can give a legitimately hard massage. A solid 7 on the looks scale. Super explosive finish.
It seems that they've increased the house rate from $60 to $70. I'm not sure if this is because of what happened down in Providence, bad economy, or something else. But, I'd say that the service I received was well worth it. Hopefully, this price increase won't become a trend. $40 tip.

If I want variety I will just do a walk-in and not make an appointment but if I call and make an appointment with a certain girl, I expect to see that girl when I get there. If she's not there I would rather they tell me so on the phone. I have built a rapport with a few different girls at a few different spas over the years and it's difficult to do that if you're given a different girl than the one you expected. If I call and they tell me she's not available, chances are I would go anyway but I don't like being lied to in order to get me in the door. It's happened to me twice now at Ninja and if it happens again there, I will walk.Good point. You should tell them that. Ninja seems conscientious about keeping the customer happy.

So right off the bat we know we're being lied to. Once in a while just for fun I ask if the girl pictured in the ad going to be available for a massage when I get there, and the mamasan always says,"Yes." She could say,"No, but the ladies here are even more beautifuly," but instead they always say yes. Now, that's fine: Their job is to get me to walk through the door so that the 40-year-old who takes my hand and leads me to the room can suggest all sorts of heavenly delights. It's no worse than calling a used car salesman, asking whether a particular car advertised in the paper is still available for sale, and then spending a half-hour driving to the dealership only to be told that the car you were interested in was just sold. I once confronted a used car salesman and reminded him that I even told him on the phone that I was driving out of my way to see that particular car and if it wasn't in stock when I arrived I was going wheel around and leave. I told him he'd better check to see if anyone is looking at the car while I was on the phone, and I gave him my cellphone number and asked him to call me if anyone was even looking at the car while I was on the way there. Of course the car had been sold before my call, and of course the salesman didn't give a crap about the length of my drive. I did the only thing I could: The second he told me that the car had been sold, I turned and walked out.

I called and told Mamasan Venus when I would be there and asked if Sunny would be available when I arrived. She said yes. I get there and Sunny is with another customer. Venus gives me another girl. I told Venus that she shouldn't lie to me and that if she did it again I would walk. Two visits later she did it again and after I apologized to the girl (it's not her fault Venus lied) I walked. Venus got really upset and followed me outside apologizing and trying to get me to stay. I told her again that she shouldn't lie and left. After that every time I called Venus didn't lie about Sunny's availability to me. And yes there were two occasions when she told me Sunny wasn't available and I went anyway.

Ok feel the need to chime in.
I have been to several places and have this happen multiple times at several different places its the nature of the game. I used to just roll with it and take the other therapist and see where it went and by doing that along with others I kept the problem moving along. I went along one time back when I was inexperienced and I ended up getting my regular in trouble because I assumed the other therapist was on the same page and she wasnt then when I got back to see my regular friend I was in the dog house because she got spoken to by the mamasan. I have a couple of regular places I go and I see the same girl and every once and a while a schedule mix up happens. Now I just say oh so sorry about the mix up and and I make an exit and then I make another appointment. On the rare times this happens with one of my regulars I just usually do a walk in at a place I haven't tried and see what comes of it. Worst that happens I get to post a report on a place that people can avoid or I find a place where a few might leave happy.
These places are in business to make money and obviously what they are doing is working and they are making money with these practices the only way they will stop is when they don't make money doing it. So unless we make enough of a dent in the profits they will keep doing it.

After awhile and some staff turnover it became a mill and double-booking doesn't surprise me although it never happened to me. They closed up when Newton turned up the heat. I think one of the few remaining good ones, Samantha, opened a place in Quincy after but I never made it down to see her. Too many good options in Brookline / Brighton in those days. But I digress.
I'm not really an AMP fan mainly because of the inconsistent quality girls and massages most seem to complain about. But I guess it seems like that's just par for the course in those places. Complaining doesn't help so report and move on or accept it and hope whoever you get is good. I personally am more concerned about a good massage and as long as the mp has some skills and doesn't act like she's doing something she doesn't want to do on the HE, I'm ok.

I haven't heard mention of that place in a loooong time. I went there a few times and then one day it was closed.
Like you I'm not into AMPs because of inconsistent quality. Also, I find language difficulties so annoying that it significantly reduces the enjoyment of the experience. I go almost exclusively to non-AMPs.
And the massage has to be good quality professional level, or I won't repeat, regardless of any HE. I'm not interested in other extras either.

I visited Wendy's in Wakefield this morning. I drew yo yo. Lets start off by saying I felt like I was in Siberia. I have never been to a place that was so cold. I asked for a light massage. The massage was so so and the tease was just ok. Turned over around the 20 minute mark and signaled a ok to her. Very mechanical and allot of oil. Finished up with a clean up and out the door. I got to my car and looked at the clock and was shorted 15 minutes. So any time that happens to me It's usually my last time there. I went back up and told them my displeasure and they said oh next time we take care of you. I won't be back. My humble opinion. I have been there before and seen Wendy she is much better and full time.

Hey guys. I RTFF and wanted a safe one so I headed up 95. I've been to all the Prov AMP's since back in the day so I wasnt blown away by this place. No TS. 2 girls? Put me in the back room with the microwave, laptop and shades up! LOL. Thin walls! But I got to say, JoJo was great. Decent chest, nice plump ass for an asain, bebe shirt LOL. Great massage, unreal tease before the flip (noted in a previous monger review) Good ending. We hugged and kissed a few times after clean up / walk out. She said she was 30, when I asked her name&age. Sweet girl. Will repeat. Usual. 6 house. 4 tip.
I parked right out front on the main strip, zero issues. Lotta foot traffic, but it was a Fri at 6.
Also, went to Bodyworks in Framingham the day before. Again, only 2 girls. I drew the older one of the 2 and can confirm, no extras offered. On the flip she did skull and stomach. Nothing even remotely close to a ball or towel brushing. No prob, I wasnt really vibing her mustache anyway.
Damage. 5 for a decent massage! .2 tip.

I'd appreciate any advise on the ground rules around hereWell, the ground rules pretty simple but many seem to stumble as newbies.
1.) Do not ask a bunch of questions before you share some of YOUR OWN experiences.
2.) When posting give enough hints that a self-educated member can figure it out. In other words it does no one any good if you are getting 3 pops from a girl, she is swallowing the swimmers, and she requires no tip. Why you may ask? Well, if you post publicly about that girl you will never see her again and the place will be shuttered due to the Grand Central Effect (research " Bonan" for example). Posting that you left happy and tipped $70 will generate pm's where that info may be shared carefully.
3.) The reverse of #2 is a post with no info, ie," Went to Somerville. Saw Candy / Coco / Amy, etc, Left happy"
4.) Senior status is not all its cracked up to be.
5.) Be respectful and helpful. Once you build up some trust on the board you will discover the wonders of the pm feature. When you do you will understand.
6.) Review new places we have no reports on, there are many.
Having said all that, keep in mind that the above is PW's interpretation of the ground rules and are no more than an opinion. However they have worked well for me.
I was at the spot on the beach yesterday and had another great, no make that excellent massage from Katia. The usual. 8 door fee off to the room and a minute or so in walks Katia. The massage starts slow but soon wharfs out of control and all hell broke loose, in a good way mind you. About ten minutes into the appointment it was getting so intense the weasel threw up while I was still face down. That was a first for me. I thought oh no it's so we cleaned up the mess I had made and I started to dress. She says "you have to use the bathroom" I said "no aren't we done"?"Of course not you have alot of time left relax" she says and massaged me for another forty minutes and damn wouldn't you know he threw up again on the flip. Damage 8/6 and I left very very happy. Saw Tracy who looks fantastic BTW while leaving and I think she new I PE'd cause I was blushing. Went to the place near the YMCA last night. Very good as usual. Asked for Mimi, got a nod and a yes, yes, then a totally different therapist came in. I didn't complain, I think she was Didi? Been satisfied with a few south of Boston spots (can't touch PVD tho) but I miss the TS. I noticed Ocean advertises a lot and has the table shower. I know its been poorly reviewed and called a waste of time but I was wondering if anything has changed lately?
Had a visit to BK in reading last week and was waited on by Tammy, a late 20s spinner koreanjapanese decent w / a very hot looking face (real sexy) , a great set of front headlights and knows how to use them. A bit short on the rear bumbers (but more than made up by the front headlights). Wait service was interrupted a few times when she left the room to respond to another waitress' questions as one of you mongers arrived and asked to be waited on by Tammy. Tammy returns to the room and as I lay on my stomach she says I have to take another customer (regular) and will have my friend take care of you. I says no way, I asked for you, had an appt w / you, and was here first. Guess what. She stayed.
The session was so-so meaning her massage skills (hand) were lacking. But she also used her headlights with confidence and it was g-o-o-the. Especially when I'm sititng on the edge of the table and she kneels in front working her way down from head to toe then from toe to head. OMG. Sensual as hell and especially whne she is staring at you with her memerizing eyes.
Let me sum this up by sharing that RUSSIAN dressing was special of the day.
She is in great demand so enjoy!

Went to the place near the YMCA last night. Very good as usual. Asked for Mimi, got a nod and a yes, yes, then a totally different therapist came in. I didn't complain, I think she was Didi? Not positive. She was almost as good just didn't use the knees on the back like Mimi. 40/60 for hhr (it was late hr was not an option for me). So I went to 274 main in reading the other day. I called and made an appt without a problem. I got there a couple of minutes early and was welcomed by who I am assuming is the receptionist. She ushered me into a clean dimly lit room and instructed me to take off my clothes. After maybe 3 minutes at most I was greeted by Lulu. Around 40, thin, and average looking. The massage was good, asked for medium and got medium. Wasn't that greatest at the tease, otc and partial utc. She did try and make conversation and commented on my body several times. No hesitation on the flip, asked if I wanted a sheet, I declined. She got the idea and the HE was very good. I got the full hour and left quite satisfied. I would go again.

However, I have recently noticed that she advertises on CL under therapeutic and has reviews on RM that strongly indicate she also has other menu items (and yeah, I do realize that one has to take RM with a grain of salt). I went back a few times over the last month or so see about getting a HE, but without success. I got a 1/2 hr on one occasion and a full hour the second time with only a legit session both times. I decided to make one more try for another full hour, but was unable to come away with more than a solid MT experience. I like her and she does a real professional massage and would love to be able to get a little satisfaction at the end, but either there's something she doesn't fell comfortable about with me or she's just a legit CMT all the way. Honestly I was shocked to read your post. It's got to be vibe she gets I guess? I took a decent time off from visiting her but just last month I got the standard treatment including a little pm which drives me crazy. Always says " you go again"? After the all 4's reach under action. The only thing that bugs me is while on my back she can get stuck on one area like under the neck for what seems like forever and finally breaks her trance and gets back to work. I'm not a real expert but I always assume she offers the same treatment to everyone, especially repeats. I'm stumped bud.

I don't know how you're communicating your interest to her, but if you come right out and ask (or plead) , you'll get your answer.

I am in full agreement with these two posters. I read the original post and immediately knew which place it was referring to. I cannot remember in recent times having any other ad saying that it is near a YMCA and I seriously doubt whether anyone here who has been there did not know what its reference meant. Any time I am not clear on info I read here I assume there is a reason why full disclosure if not given so I PM the poster and ask for more info. By the way, the Owner of the place in question is very concerned about the explicit information posted on her place. It is definitely going to her her in the not too distant future if we continue this. Just enough info should be given in a way that they will get more business not that we can shut them down. Maybe we can agree that if we feel someone has not given enough info we will PM them for more and let's use the Board for reviews and not for fights and venting on each other.

I visited Wendy's in Wakefield this morning. I drew yo yo. Lets start off by saying I felt like I was in Siberia. I have never been to a place that was so cold. I asked for a light massage. The massage was so so and the tease was just ok. Turned over around the 20 minute mark and signaled a ok to her. Very mechanical and allot of oil. Finished up with a clean up and out the door. I got to my car and looked at the clock and was shorted 15 minutes. So any time that happens to me It's usually my last time there. I went back up and told them my displeasure and they said oh next time we take care of you. I won't be back. My humble opinion. I have been there before and seen Wendy she is much better and full time.
RacI went to see Wendy yesterday and made it a point to check the temp on the way in, it was a very warm 73 degrees, but I too have been there when it seemed kind of cold. Maybe those appointments were too early and her office, which is pretty large, hadn't heated up yet. Also checked time in and time out and def got my full hour as Wendy always does. Now Yoyo was a different story. I always thought that Yoyo had a bad attitude and thankfully (in some part I'm sure do to you Racin) she was let go! So my fellow mongers I think it is safe to say it is now ok to go back to Wendy, who is one of my favorites. PM for any specifics.

If you are going to take a "purist " approach to "Thai " massage experience around these parts you need to have a very secure feeling about your sexuality what ever way it works right for you or else you may drive yourself crazy if you wish to partake.

Seems a little weird that someone who has visited her "over the years" already doesn't know her M. O. By now. She is a very nice woman with what I assume is either actual training or years of experience. However, she just doesn't do it for me in the looks department. I'd guess her closer to grandmother age than mother age. Again though, very nice woman with good massage techniques. I just hope inquiries that identify her and her actions don't lead to bad things.

IMHO if you show up clean and treat a provider well and with respect you'll be fine, but show disrespect and / or treat her badly then you'll reap what you deserve. At least that's been my experience in many many years of mongering.

I decided to see what all the fuss is about. I got a Ok massage and nice ending. Nothing special. Not shorted on time but I think many of the massues at these places lack formal training and "wing it". My new plan is to go back to professional massage LPN who make sure I leave happy.

It wasn't, they all got shut down at once. You don't mean to say that all of a sudden every neighbor of every AMP in Providence complained at the same time and that's why they all got closed within days of each other.

For over a year before Providence got closed down I was trying to get members posting reviews in Providence to tone down the reviews. Sure, LE probably does know what's going on, but does rubbing their nose in it make any sense? I think not. If someone is too lazy to ask for details then they don't deserve the information.
We don't have anything here close to Providence, but what we do have is better than nothing, why blow it just for the sake of saving someone two minutes to send a pm?
Lowell Massage's website says that you can have your massage on their steam table. Has anyone tried that? What was it like?

Paid a visit to the folks up on Post Road. In Bilelrica. Greeted by Ci-Ci and led to room. She is on the petite side w / a nice D set and I've had her before so I was hopeing she would be my therapist. But, after I paid the money she left and in walks aome other woman. Can't remember her name. She was at least in her late 30s possibly 40s, petite wih shoulder lengh hair. She was cute but every smile seemed forced and looked almost painful. Her Tried to engage in some pleasant converstion. But her English was not too good. She started goobering on the oil and I asked her use very little oil. She said ok but continued to goober on the oil. Maybe she didn't understand what exactly I said? Her massage technique was to quickly run her hands over me, then go back and do everything again, and again, and again. She did a little teasing while on my stomach and then she got a hot towel. Her cleanup was ok and then she told me to flip. On my front she continued with her quick massage technique but slowed down a bit when she got to my thighs. She allowed some otc on the bottom and then she started to stroke jr. I told her to slow down her hand and she reached for the oil with her other hand. I said very little oil, but she didn't unerstand me (or didn't want to understand me.) and the finish was the most mechanical I have ever experienced. Went to e Ninja for a third time and the girl I usually get (don't know her name but she's the slightly chunky yet extremely fun) wasn't there. I got a girl I never seen there before. Went to Lowell Massage today. It's been a few years since I was last there, but I remembered getting a decent massage. I wasn't looking for anything other than relief for my severely stressed and aching back and legs. The masseuse (never did get her name) spent most of the hour just working on my back, so I added an additional half hour. Got total relief for my back, and the rest of the massage was quite good too. Never asked for extras and they were never offered or hinted at, although the massage was undraped.
I asked about the steam table massage, and they showed it to me. The steam table is a massage table with panels in various places that can be removed. There's a skirt around the table and a steam generator underneath, so with the panels removed steam can rise up. They put towels on top of the table, and the steam warms them up and makes them moist. It didn't appeal to me so I'm glad I didn't try it.
Lowell Massage's website says that you can have your massage on their steam table. Has anyone tried that? What was it like?
It's been a couple of years (at least) since I was there, and I got a decent massage then. So I'm wondering what it's like now. I'm more interested in a good massage than any extras.

Anna, from my opinion, isn't a bad looking women (5'3".110lbs, A / B cups) though her teeth weren't too straight and I unfortunately did not get a peek at her feet as she was wearing slippers. Finally paid a visit to the famous Ninja in Quincy. Easy to find, parking on the street. I didn't call in advance and when I got there, it seemed pretty quiet. I forget the name of my provider (my memory is really starting to go) but I'd say she was mid 30s, to early 40s. Cute, nothing special. She led me to the room. She spoke decent English. I went there this afternoon since it was a slow workday and had a similar experience. Got the full hour of massage and maybe even a little note for. 6+.4 tip. Very cute, very nice body. Language barrier was a little rough at times and the massage was kind of pointless but I left happy. OTC roaming was fine. UTC was rejected politely.
Flip was about halfway into the massage and she continued for the full session. It was very relaxing anyway and Tammy is very friendly.

Okay. Where the f is BK in Reading? PM please. I went to 150 Main Street in Reading on the second floor. I was working in the area. Opted for the half hour for $40. One of the worse experiences I've had at an MP. A couple of you guys were in the rooms so I returned. The lady promised a pretty Korean girl with long hair. I returned. Well. Lets just say she had long hair and not much else going for her. It was her first day there and you could tell. Massage, terrible. Ending, worse. Nothing was happening. Royal Thai recently opened in Cambridge down the street from S'bai.
I walked by to check it out, and the place looked great with two hot girls sitting inside.

So despite my last visit to Marrett being a disappointment, I figured I might head back over just to try to Russian mentioned in my last report. Which the begs the question; while I can understand (though not excuse) being shorted on time when the place is busy and they're trying to turn over customers, why does this ever happen when business is slow?

Called this week to set up an appt and arrived about twenty minutes early so I parked in the BK parking lot. Used the facilities at Bk and when returning to my vehicle I noticed two guys crouching down in what may have been an unmarked car in the BK parking lot.
I don't know enough about LE if this was a stakeout but I decide not take the chance and left.
Didn't this place get raided earlier this year? I don't recall.

Has any one have any experience with Ann in Revere? I spoke to her on the phone and she seems like a real nice girl. I am heading that way today and just wanted to reach out and see if she is legit. Thanks in advance for any responses and I will report back if I decide to see her.

Went to Ninja again and saw Jojo for the first time. She's attractive and thin with a nice rack. Reading Police made two prostitution arrests on Nov. 9 at 12:48 pm XXXXX. 43, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Flushing, New York and YYYYY. 24, xxxxxxxxxx, Reading were both arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit prostitution. YYYYY was also charged with sexual conduct for a fee.
According to police, they worked with North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) detectives to conduct the investigation of alleged prostitution at Reading Body Wellness Center on Main Street Reading. An undercover officer went into the center and pretended to be a customer during the investigation.
Both XX and YY were arrested at the Main Street business and will be arraigned at Woburn District Court on Nov. 13. The Reading Body Wellness Center will be closed, police said.

Based on input I have received here I made appt with Mandy. Arrived on time only to be greeted by another masseuse. Asked for Mandy. Mandy came out only to say that this other girl would take care of me because she had a customer. Mandy is hotter body wise but this girl was OK. Didn't get her name.
I have one big pet peeve. Constant negotiation on price after the flip. Does a waitress ask how much her tip will be before serving food? I mean I get it. Some idiots probably stiff the girls. But I will tip much more if they just let me roam UTC and do their job. I tend to "ask for forgiveness and never permission but this girl was being aloof and difficult. She actually said "I have a family". WTF?

2D got Alice again, predictable utc. Would like some variety.
Tried 2F, didn't get name, very edgy different girl who was a wise smartass, not the usual M. O.
Several visits to Judy at 2B, got some good variety in 3 visits but nothing to write home about.
Couple mos ago in 2E a very attractive gal resulted in a saran wrap procedure that was welcome for a change.
Also retried 11 edin fl 4 but got same old gal as always, no utc.
Need some newatChinatown somewhere.

Decided to TOFTT and hit the new Zen Bodywork in Chelmsford last night. It's located in an office condo building with lots of parking. Parlor is on the bottom floor of the "East" entrance. Very dark and private. Don't really have to pass any other offices on the way in or out.
Called ahead (ad on CL) and was met at the door by "Jenna." Girl looked familiar, but the name wasn't. At any rate, she's the owner. New business, not just new management. The room was clean and comfortable. Not really outfitted in any Asian style, but had a big mural of autumn trees on one wall. The massage table, though not heated, was great. I usually have trouble with the face rests moving around, but not this time. Jenna was very sweet. Her English isn't bad. I got the feeling she understood me better than I understood her. Big difference between speaking English and Chinese. Massage products were scentless and very high quality. Never felt greasy or oily at all. I prefer a harder massage and that's exactly what I got. Jenna gives the best massage I've ever had. Strong, tireless, and intuitive. She seemed to know what I needed where without my saying a thing. The session was pretty intense. She told me she's licensed.
Downside: no HE on the menu, but YMMV. Truth be told, after the workout she gave me, I don't know that I'd have been up for dessert! .
I will definitely repeat as the quality of the massage was outstanding. 60/40 (Yeah, I know. Normally it would be 10 or20, but she earned it.) Pretty much had the same experience as you HS, with a great massage, except apparantly I left even happier. Also thought the lotion was higher quality than most, hate the places that use cheap baby oil, even if you wipe it off you still have that smell, this stuff felt good and didn't smell. Went to 274 Friday afternoon.
I was met with Katie.
I would estimate her to be mid 30's, tall and thin with long hair.
She was pleasant and gave a good medium massage.
Ending was very mechanical. 60 + 40.
Probably won't return due to the ending.

Visited Anna at Mystic again with a similar experience to the last (please see prior post). This time, however, I had the opportunity to closely evaluate her feet. I'd give her a 6. 5 on my foot scale with her second toe not longer than her primary toe (I find feet unattractive when the second toe is longer than the first and this is a significant turn-off for me) , all unpainted toes in proportion, average moisture content, relatively soft to the touch, no significant odor upon removal of socks, and only one observable callus. By the way, it looks like she will be traveling on vacation for the next week or two for those thinking about visiting.
Just as a reference, I had the chance to speak with the other girl (didn't get her name but not the owner. She tried to convince me to visit with her though I insisted on Anna) who ranks a notch or two above Anna in the looks department with feet that I would visually categorize at least a 7. 5 (though whose second toe is a bit longer than Anna's but not as long as her first toe) but a closer inspection may be warranted.

I've never had a bad experience there like the one you say you had on Harrison Ave. and you think I should go there instead? Why would I when Ninja's always been reliable for me? If you follow this forum you'll know I'm not the only one who enjoys going to Ninja regularly. It was reports on here that got me going there in the first place. Table paper doesn't phase me. I'm more interested in the quality of the massage, etc. And friendly personalities that I've enjoyed there that keep me going back. Like anything, for one reason or another, YMMV.
