Re Diva, I was referring to 5 Knapp but having visited Diva 3 times, the older provider there is not any good on either side. Alice I like but far from being a favorite.

Unfortunately, I cannot TOFFT on this one, simply because it's where my wife goes to get her haircut / mani / pedi, but Mayflower Spa in Watertown has started offering massages. It's not on the radar because the owner (named May) doesn't advertise it, and its not in her window signage. But when I was in last (picking up my wife) , there was a sign on the front counter,"New. $50 special. One hour massage" and she was telling my wife how much the men and ladies that have already gotten massages loved them. It's a typical salon upstairs, but there's a basement that's been converted into their "spa" section.
Natrually, being the hobbiest that I am, I could only imagine the possibilities as the entire shop is asian ladies, if only they didn't know me by last name and my wife on the freakin' regulars list!
In terms of location, street parking is available, but it's 2-hour and Watertown's finest like to ticket heavily. Best bet is any side street nearby, not on the main strip. It's next door to a convenience store and has both men / women clients upstairs for haircuts, so men going into the shop won't look odd in the slightest. Quite often when I'm there it's empty all except for my wife. Which means no uncomfortable glances from clients.
The owner is very beautiful, not young but certainly quite opposite of the older ladies I typically have seen at AMPs in MA. So I figure perhaps this is a place you blokes can recon and share. Can't promise much if anything from this place, and I'd love to find out myself what's up. Unfortunately I'm stuck on the sidelines for this one.

Went back for second visit to main street in Medford. Did a random walk in. Rang doorbell.

I recently visited with Hong in Tewksbury. First time with her, I had seen one of her other therapists at Montvale Ave, and was not overly impressed. Visited several days ago when it was snowing and miserable outside. I was immediately impressed by how clean, bright, and cheery everything looked. Also saw a room with two tables, apparently for couple's massage. There's also a small sauna.
At the reception I filled out the first-timer's form and was taken to a nice warm room. Got undressed and put on the robe and slippers."K" took me down the hall to the table-shower. The TS was one of the nicest I can remember.
The water was nice and warm, and "K" was quite thorough, didn't rush, and didn't miss anything. To be sure, it was matter-of-fact, and there was no hint that any extras might be available. After she thoroughly dried me off she took me back to the massage room.
A couple of things diminished the experience of the TS. First, the room was a bit too cool, and I would have been close to shivering if it hadn't been for the copious amount of warm water being used. Second, everything was quite slippery, much more than I've experienced elsewhere, almost dangerous IMO. K was quite aware of it and kept me from falling on my ass.

Just learned Cherry is gone, she was my favorite too. Ownership is same as before. I think they're trying for a lower profile this time around. They were great a couple of years ago, then the heat was turned up and they moved the girls to Sunny's in Kenmore Square and tried to go legit. Not much business for that, so when the heat was on in Kenmore Square, the girls came back to Arlington. I am not sure but I believe Sunny's in Kenmore Square has loosened up some, but have not been by to check.

Mimi has stepped up her massage skills, and her physical attributes rival those of JoJo. I never ask for anyone special, have always been happy with whoever I have been assigned to. Have been there numerous times and only got the switch once- and they must have miscommunicated how far along the process I was, because the one that came in started anew, and I got an extra 15 minutes or so of massage for free.

It's really perverse. Assuming these guys are "at risk of reoffense" (or whatever the phrase is) , letting them get their rocks off in a massage parlor (okay, also assuming that neither of them is going to attack the masseuse) is clearly MUCH better for society than having them go back to whatever kind of "sex offense" they were up to, previously.

Three things struck me about this incident:
1. OK, so they were running an unlicensed massage establishment in a building where a licensed masseuse also had her studio. WTF were the folks at Gemstone thinking? Did they really have that much blind faith in the lady upstairs to believe that she wouldn't look for a way to kill off the competition?
2. Interesting that the PD alleged that two of the fellows they questioned are registered sex offenders. Was this true, do you think? Methinks it ain't necessarily so. Perhaps they are making this up on the theory that it's useful to suggest that anyone who would go to a "happy" MP is by definition, a perv.
3. As for the quote about the "legitimate" therapist in the building: "One of the complaints against the establishment, according to police, came from a legitimate masseuse who runs a business from the top floor of the building. She said that Gemstone Massage, which is located in the basement, gets a lot more business than she does and only seems to take male customers." Now that she has eliminated the {allegedly} Happy place downstairs, does she truly believe that all of Gemstone's former customers will seek her out? That her own business will pick up? Note and a biz development hint to complainer: Answer is,"Not likely, dearie." And if you want to attract more male customers.... well, you know what you need to do!

It could be that there were men going to the legit masseuse seeking extras. That would make me unhappy, if I were operating a legit place.
Anybody that opens up a rub & tug place in a residential neighborhood is asking for trouble.
I recall a similar place I visited off Porter Sq. Some years ago. Not Asian, but all-American. ThanksI was there today, I got Coco I think, not sure. The " body work " (they don't like it when we say massage) done by this provider was poor, not very polite but not rude, that came later when I asked what was the other girls name after she finished, no extras. It has been reviewed at least 3 times. My review is below. But YMMV. Someone else reported "no hint of extras." And a third said he was draped throughout and was told no when he asked for HE. It may depend on the girl or the circumstances.

So been a while but have gone to 1 Spa in RI lately. Great place. Great girls. Light massage with teasing before the flip and was rock hard minutes after the flip. Let the girl do her stuff and did several positions. Felt awesome. CBJ and FS. Total damage was $$200.
Also ventured back up to Need Message. Saw my girl there. She give one of the best massages and is worth it just for the massage. Got the Deep Tissue (wink wink) massage for 90 minutes. I've been to this place a couple of times, and I want to start out by saying that the massage and finish are very good. The most recent time I went I had a bit of a negative experience, and that's what I'm sharing.
I stopped in on a Tuesday evening at around 6:15. Lucky me, Amy was on duty and available. A voice in my head told me that I should go for a half hour, but for some reason I decided to ask for an hour massage. About 15 minutes in, my fears of being shorted were essentially realized when she ran to answer the phone, brought the phone back into the room and told the caller to come in at 7:00. So now I know, I'm getting 45 minutes. Then she puts the phone down right next to my head, where it drops to a busy signal for a while. She catches that, then it rings again (still sitting right next to my head). She took that call, and apparently the caller had trouble understanding her when she tried to give out the address so she actually put me on the phone to give the address. This was a first for me, and was about as awkward an experience as I have ever had in a massage parlor. Sorry "Peter", judging by your silence, I guess you were even more uncomfortable than I was (just know I was totally naked when we talked). Other than that I had a standard Amy experience.
Massage. Very good. She doesn't seek out knots or anything, but her normal massage routine is very good and hits all the right spots. You'll definitely leave relaxed and relieved.
Tease. Excellent. One of the best I've had lately.
Finish. Very good. She takes her time, and knows how to do things right.
My biggest gripe. After getting shorted 15 minutes, being interrupted with phone calls, and actually being put on the phone, was her attitude when she saw the tip. I gave her. 30 because the experience was overall very pleasant, despite my previously mentioned issues. She actually looked at the money, acted disappointed and said "Oh $30?" like she expected more.
Damage: House. 60, tip. 30. I'll repeat eventually because it's so convenient, but I'm taking a break from here for a while.

It makes me wonder if it was because they were being so regularly reviewed, along with too much detail posted on this board. It's too bad. Service was always consistent. It's going to be hard to find a more dedicated crew of women.

Perhaps all the attention paid to Bonan finally brought pressure political wise down on LE to do something. Perhaps their location so close to other businesses and being in a medical office building worked against them as well.

I became freinds with the american papason and he hinted to me that they were protected from LE in some way.
Well we all know what happened to that island. Maybe bonan had a similar arrangement and someone retired or transferred and the new person in authority was not interested in having a similar arrangement.

The Grand Central Station effect is what brought it down, IMHO. Far too many walk-ins 12 hours a day. 7 days a week. Way too much activity. As the place spiked in popularity, Jessica should have figured out a way to better manage it, perhaps moving to appointment-only, declining new customers or permitting 'extras'; only for gentlemen who were known to the ladies. When a place becomes so incredibly visible, problems are sure to follow. UTR does not guarantee protection but it certainly helps. All of this is easy for me to say, as running an AMP has not been among my many career "accomplishments," so how would I know, really?

Bonan's was the only AMP place that I visited. From what I read on here, no other place comes close in terms of the looks of the providers and the service. Anyone have any recommendations for an equivalent substitute?
I was there the other day, I got Coco I think, not sure. The " body work " (they don't like it when we say massage) done by this provider was poor, not very polite but not rude, that came later when I asked what was the other girls name after she finished, no extras. Not even an accidental rub, not sensual in any way, she just squeezed a lot.
Some say that you can get just about anything here with the right girl, I guess I got the one that does not do any extras of any kind.

Hi all!
I was in Boston recently, had read the previous reviews of the Thai place in Cambridge, and decided to stop by for a walk-in. Metered 2-hr parking was readily available nearby. I was very impressed with the place. Very neat and clean. The photos of the facility on the website are all real. I drew Pam, a young and very pretty gal, in great shape (fantastic arms!). She was really friendly and polite throughout, always smiling and taking great care of me. I felt really pampered. The bodywork was excellent, with a variety of Thai moves that really did a great job of stretching me out. No draping. Easy communication at the right moments with no need for negotiations (tip amount was on the honor system). Even after I was totally relaxed and happy (and thought we were done) , she came back with hot towels and put my body through a variety of sitting stretches that really felt great. $80 for the hour, and I left a $50 tip. I would definitely repeat, even if it was just for the bodywork alone.
Several previous reports have mentioned no roaming. I guess it depends on how you define that. Throughout much of the bodywork it was simply impractical to roam since she was mostly working from behind (besides being busy with some active bodywork moves). After the flip I did explore nice, respectful OTC roaming of outer and inner thighs, hips, arms. I did lightly and gently touch her upper body and she very slightly leaned away, but smiled and giggled. She did allow me to continue but I did not pursue anything beyond that as I sensed it would not be respectful.
There are so many different flavors of experiences in this hobby. This particular experience was very much on the "healthy and holistic" side that left me feeling pure and positive. It was like the girl next door offering to help me with my sore muscles. She was still the girl next door when I left (and yes, I left happy) , leaving my fantasy intact for my next visit. I've learned over the years to keep an open mind and go with the flow, leaving my expectations at the door. What I do look for is quality service, a friendly attitude, and some degree of connection during the experience. Pam provided all three. It's been several days and my body and spirit both still feel great.
By the way, I saw two other ladies in the main area, both were equally young, in shape, and very pretty.

EJIf you can make it to Providence, that is your best bet.
Otherwise, a relatively "safe" bet is Holistic in Revere. Sauna, steam, table shower, and 1 hr massage for a Benjamin plus a 40 dollar tip when you leave happy. It is on the more therapeutic side and more of a spa experience rather than sensual but you won't get a 40-50 year old Chinese lady either. I've only seen Koreans in their 20s and 30s.
I've posted on another site but I've found more activity here lately so I'm going to participate here. After seeing ads on CL, I was going to try the location on Beal st but alas it was closed. The wall on both sides stop about a foot from the ceiling. Not to mention the other workers do not know the deal. While I was in the 1 massage room that they have which is at the very front of the store I could hear everything that everyone was saying. So if your going be ready to see people and to de discrete. After I became happy we had 20 minutes left and she continued the massage until the end. Same price as before. I was there today, LeiLei let me in and walked me upstairs. I saw Lulu and asked for her, based on a previous review on one of these boards, and glad I did. I asked for soft massage and lots of teasing and that's what I got. She has a great soft touch. At the flip, got off table and visited top and bottom. Very nice and enjoyable in both regions. Back on table for great HE. Nice clean up, helped me get dressed. Will definitely see her again.

A friend of mine is thinking about setting up an AMP somewhere in the Boston Metro area and I thought I would do her a favor and poll you guys to see where you thought a good location / town would be both in terms of a good client base in the surrounding area and also in terms of safety (for example we all know Woburn would not be an ideal place on that score)? I read this forum, alot of people say be quiet on who what we do and where. Well also these girls have to be smarter. This is their livelyhood, they can't just offer HE's to everyone. Massage parlor raid details released (Macon, GA)

Macon police reports released this week shed more light on the massage parlor raid that triggered controversy after allegations surfaced that a police officer had participated in a sex act with a worker there.
The records were released in response to an Open Records Act request that The Telegraph filed after Sun Ah Cho. 29, pleaded guilty to giving a massage in a place of prostitution, thereby closing the case.
Here's what happened, according to reports in the case file:
An undercover police officer entered Tokyo Health Spa. 2790 Riverside Drive, about 11:40 pm on March 3, 2010, and paid $40 for a 30-minute massage. Police targeted the spa because they had received of a complaint of prostitution.
The officer was led to a room and instructed to undress before Cho started massaging his legs and back. After several minutes, Cho told the officer to turn over onto his back, and she started rubbing his inner thighs, brushing against his genitals.
Cho then asked if he wanted 'hand, face or body' and the officer responded that he wanted 'face. ' She said the charge would be $80, and she put a condom in her mouth.
As the officer waited for Cho to ask for the money, she immediately grabbed him. The officer climaxed as soon as Cho started performing the sex act.
Police officials have maintained that the officer acted appropriately, although officers are not supposed to engage in sex-related activity while undercover.
Chief Mike Burns said the officer immediately told his supervisor what had happened.
'The situation was investigated, ' Burns said.
Cho's lawyer, Reza Sedghi, said it's not fair that Cho was charged with a crime and the officer wasn't, although the officer participated in the sex act.
'He paid for prostitution and has never been charged, ' Sedghi said. 'If it was any other person (other than an officer) , that person would be charged with soliciting prostitution.
'That's just inherently wrong. '
The newly released police reports also mention a male patron and a second female employee who were at the spa during the raid. Neither one was arrested.
Police say there was no evidence to charge the patron with a crime, and the second employee wasn't in the room when the sex act was solicited.
Earlier this month, Cho was ordered to pay a $1, 000 fine, serve a year on probation and stay out of Bibb County after pleading guilty to giving a massage in a place of prostitution. In exchange for her guilty plea, additional charges of prostitution and solicitation of sodomy were dropped.
Cho, who now lives in California, filed notice in April that she planned to file a $500, 000 lawsuit against the city of Macon, alleging illegal arrest, sexual assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Sedghi has said he doesn't think Cho will now pursue the civil action against the city.

'This has been a huge problem, facilitated by technology and websites, ' Coakley said at a press conference yesterday at her Boston office. She was flanked by at least a dozen district attorneys, police chiefs, and legislators who support the measure.
'It has been under the radar, ' Coakley said of the issue, 'but it's time to shine a spotlight on this crime. '
Coakley said hundreds of thousands of young girls, and occasionally boys, from other countries and the United States are forced into prostitution and labor each year. Human trafficking is considered the second largest illegal industry, after the drug trade, and the fastest growing in the world, Coakley said.
If the bill becomes law, a conviction for trafficking for sexual servitude would be punishable by up to 20 years in prison, while trafficking for forced labor would be punishable by up to 15 years. It would impose higher penalties for those who exploit anyone under 18 and for people who pay for sex. The bill would also create a task force within the attorney general's office to study human trafficking.
The task force would track the number of cases annually in the Commonwealth. While authorities say there are hundreds of cases each year, no single agency is in charge of keeping statistics, and police departments and district attorneys do not use standardized criteria.
'It's problematic to track, because it takes some cooperation on the part of the person who is subjected, and they often are not willing to cooperate, ' said Jake Wark, spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.
Audrey Porter — an assistant director at the My Life My Choice Project, a Boston-based agency focused on preventing the exploitation of girls — talked about her own experiences during the news conference, saying she was subjected to rape and beatings. She said she is a survivor of the commercial sex industry.
'When I was out there, I was visible, and the police did know who I was, ' Porter said. 'With the Internet. . . They [prostitutes] are put in hotels, and there is no way for anyone to find them. '
State Senator Mark C. Montigny, a New Bedford Democrat and a lead sponsor of the bill, called human trafficking 'modern day slavery, nothing less. ' He said cases span from the wealthy suburbs to the inner city.
'One of the victims said to us, 'It is actually a fate worse than death, because we have our spirit completely destroyed and then we have to go out and do it the next day, ' ' Montigny said.
Conley said his office works to provide support services for youths drawn into prostitution and prosecutes those who force them into the sex trade or who buy sex from young girls.
He cited the case of an Avon man convicted in 2007 of inducing a minor into prostitution and deriving support from prostitution. The man, Ryan Duntin, served three years in prison and is currently on probation.
'Had this bill been in effect when Ryan Duntin was before the court, it would have covered the 16-year-old girl he was trafficking, ' Conley said.
The current law for sex for a fee with a child applies to victims 14 and under, whereas the proposed law would increase the age to 18, Conley said. If the proposed bill were law in 2007, prosecutors could have charged Duntin with human trafficking for sexual servitude.
The bill now goes to a legislative committee for consideration.

Tried this place the other night."Rooms" are 7-8 foot cubicle partitions you would find in a office. I could hear the traffic going by on Salem St so kind of distracting. Decided to give Kangle a second try. Paid the fee end went directly to room. Amy did the "massage". Probably the 2nd worst "massage"/rubdown I have ever had. The single worst "massage"/rubdown I had was there at Kangle not too long ago (hence the 2nd try.).
Massage was awful and after about 20 mins or so she told me to flip. She poured some oil on junior and kinda jumped back (visualize pouring lighter fluid on BBQ charcoal. Have I used this reference before.) and said "you do that" while pushing my hand towards junior. I said no, you do that. She said "no, boss kill me, you do that". And that's when the fun *really* began my friends. We went back and forth for several minutes with the "you do that", no, *you* do that, etc. Etc.. It was as if we were doing a comedy routine. Finally I said forget about it and just finish the massage.
She kept on rambling about something while I was staring at the ceiling pondering my decision to give them a 2nd try. She finished and then said "shower time". So we went to the TS room and I got on a table (2 tables in the room separated by two shower curtains) and the water was cool. So she took the showerhead from the other TS (which didn't quite reach my table.) and was aiming it back and forth over me like a fireman uses a fire hose.
TS lasted a few minutes and then back to room. I quickly changed, left a $10 tip and left. (I know I shouldn't have left a tip. But she looked so miserable and seemed so amazingly scared of her boss).
Damages were 93 + 10.
Without any doubt, it was absolutely, most decisively, unequivocally, unparalleled in misery, the worsse experience I have ever had in a spa in MA. Needless to say I will never repeat.
Suggest we reference that spa as the new lowest possible standard for our forum purposes.

Always know what's on the menu and for what price before visiting, which is one reason why this board exists. When you are "caught" negotiating between a rock and a hard place (pun intended) you always loose. You immediately come back with "what do you charge" and see what they say. If it's too much (and it will be) you say "I normally pay. Whatever" and don't budge. The problem is, now you've lost momentum and she has to work twice as hard to do the job. This has happened to almost everyone at one point or another. I'll never forget a time in Prov where we were at a Mexican / Chinese standoff. She wasn't going to continue unless I came up with $60 on the spot. So I got up and started to walk. She balked, and I had what I wanted.
