Decided to take a side trip into RI yesterday and relax for an hour at DT. To my amazement I found a parking spot a block away, so I only paid 1.50 for the parking meter instead of 11.00 at the parking garage. Cool.
Walked over to DT, and noticed they are renovating the little pub/cafe on the corner. A white pickup truck was parked on the sidewalk in front of the DT door. I had been one other time last fall and so that's why I chose this place over the others as I knew how to get there. Had Sunny in the fall and enjoyed her so I was glad that she was available. Sorry to hear about the bad visits at Apple. My visit there with Mimi a few weeks ago was pretty good. As we all know, any of these spas can be hit or miss sometimes. But it's continuing to try them out that is part of the fun in all of it and when you finally get that gem of a trip, it all feels worth it.

I got royally ripped off today at Central Health -- which is my first negative experience there ever. But it was like a totally different place. All very weird deal. First a white guy answers the door and signs me up. No Mamasan. I get assigned a girl -- whose name I forget, I apologize. But she was short, very petite, and 100% anglicized. Asked her where's she's from -- "New York." She was clearly U.S. born and raised, probably not even first generation. I knew the was going to be problem.
I did the TS and she was good with the dick washing, etc. We get back to the room she was affectionate but no massage, we flip over and I start talking prices. I tell her my usual routine is $60 for two pops and topless. "NO WAY" she says, no one there would ever do that. I say I have gotten that for years with Lily. You probably ran into Jaime (a.k.a.Princess) who is from Manhattan, and has been there for a bit. She is ~5'2", slim, Size A, big smile, longer hair, perfect English with little to no accent whatsover. She would push price, especially if she doesn't know you, and would place constraints on the session if she feels she doesn't get her optimal price.
Search for 'Princess' on this thread and see my report and another report from a different submitter with the embedded quote "Underwear stays on". That's Jaime... I feel she alone is driving the culture at CH a bit, as I have reported some upsell and variation on 'fair play'. You rarely get that at DT. I do think there are great experiences to be had at CH though (like with YoYo). With that, I actually like Jaime but would have found problem with a similar experience as you had.
The male mamasan has been there for a while too. He is OK. I try to get names of girls who I would prefer first, then ask him which girl is next. If next girl has marginal reports or I've had the girl and want to try someone else, I usually ask.

thanks for the insight, Ampdude. It is indeed as you described and it is a matter of expectations. It is not so much that I was looking specifically for a massage, per se, otherwise I wouldn't have gone to a PVD AMP.
But my routine for PVD AMP's has been -- I go there when I am coming back from TF Green, usually after a long, grueling week on the road, and I wanted an hour of pampering, including a massage and a couple of hand releases, with a sensual massage (rub my earlobes, rub my temples, put your tits in my face, plus give me a nice backrub -- and do this for the hour I paid for).
So what I got was a $60 entrance fee that was simply the starting point for more upsell. If I was looking for FS specifically, that would be fine and I suspect Jamie would have been a good option. But at that point you would have had to pay me for FS and I was looking to be taken care of, not to bang one out.
That used to be the whole appeal of a real AMP -- all the pampering, taking care of you, putting your close back on, etc. If the deal is now $260 for one-shot FS then I would skip the TS, save my money and go to a good incall for $150.
Otherwise, what I got at CH was no better than what I get up in Boston for a lot less money. Granted Jamie is hotter than girls up here -- but not by enough to justify the price difference.
If I had read your posts about Jamie I would have known what I was getting into -- and I wouldn't have gone. I generally reserve FS for my wife and go to an AMP just to be worked on in an anonymous way -- without the intimacy of FS.
To be honest, it was awkward being with Jamie because she was a regular American girl. Some times that is hot -- but I have gotten used to the anonymity of an Asian girl with poor English. “legitimate people are running businesses in providence every day who do the right thing. these other people are making $20,000 a month on these brothels,” mrs. giannini said. “i think the people of rhode island don’t want this going on. they don’t want these girls being brought in like this.”
clearly, though, there are people who want the brothels to thrive. to get an idea of how much money is at stake, just glance at the extraordinary number of graphic sex ads in a weekly newspaper distributed locally.
could any of that money be wielding influence at the state house? or has prostitution, along with gambling, become rhode island’s idea of economic development?
the business is vicious and it is destroying the lives of our fellow human beings. years after this problem first came to light, rhode island still refuses to ban houses of prostitution that rely on human trafficking, hoarding dollars from human misery.

If he had written a number less than a dozen, the impact is minimal. Exageration however might stir up puplic interest and create an opportunity for a potential Pulitizer prize winning series. So the writer is giving up any chance for future fun for a few bucks now, so sad.

Um, if you go to yellow pages dot com and type massage and RI (Rhode Island) in to the search engine you will come up with 199 listings in 2 categories. Some of these are national chains, some are duplicates, some are old numbers now closed. But there will be over 100 valid listings for massage. I know they don't all offer happy endings. Does the reporter? Maybe. Maybe not. Sloppy, irresponsible journalism? Welcome to the world of news media gentlemen (and our minority of gentlewomen members).

the 100 or so brothels if not enormously exaggerated must include striptease clubs where the strippers are almost 100% white, black, and hispanic. it probably includes incall/outcall services which here seem to be also nearly 100% white, black, or hispanic. it certainly includes massage parlors. there are 199 massage listings in the state [under yellow pages dot com], but the great majority are non asian and/or do not offer any sexual services. of the 100 or so brothels only 10 to 12 or so predominantly employ asian women. if this is an anti prostitution diatribe it should not be predominantly about asians at all. if it is about ins issues then the 100 or so brothels are irrelevant, and asian working conditions in other industries need to be cited.

these "experts" are not unbiased. they are members of law enforcement trying to justify police activities or politicians trying to justify legislative activities. i don't know what the women are told. i would need to hear it from an unbiased source with reliable information before i would find it entirely credible though.

he surely is referring to the providence phoenix. i don't have the current issue, but the statistics are probably about the same as the back issue i do have in hand. yes, there are quite a few graphic sex ads. but few of them are for asian places. i count 112 ads in the adult section, not counting the erosphere personals which have another 59 ads. very likely this is where achorn gets his figure of 100 or so brothels throughout the state. the erosphere personals only have one asian listing - for a korean tv. entre nous has one ad for an asian escort. there are 9 listings under spas. it is uncertain whether all are asian or whether all offer sexual services. word is that most spas in rhode island offering sexual services only offer hand jobs. two well known rhode island spas offering extras are not listed. they are probably well enough known not to need to advertise. no other asian ads occur. the point is that achorn's entire article proselytizes against amps. but his statistics are for all adult services, of which amps are probably less than a tenth part. dishonest? you bet.

A great response to the Providence Journal. I wish just one of these misguided reporters would engage in some journalism and not just quote from the local LE press release. I haven't seen a large amount of editorials or stories about busts but the double handful I have seen look as though the story was written from a boiler plate release when it comes to the statement that the workers are slaves. I have yet to see one in which the author obtained a quote from the Asian worker or at least indicated that a quote was pursued but the Asian worker declined to comment.
The workers I have known are all free to go whenever they want to so I believe the statement that they are not free to go, seen in just about every story or article, is a macro in a computer or manual that is used by public information officers around the country. If that is so, then the reporters are showing just how lazy they are by not attempting to corroborate what should be a very important fact. I'm not sure most of us would, if we knew we were instrumental in abetting sex slave traders and imposing enslavement on other human beings, would continue doing this. Those of us with more than a couple of visits to an AMP know the workers are not slaves. The journalists who parrott the boiler plate press releases are failing their readers by not following up to corroborate facts independently.
As you and I both know, the workers do not serve men with their bodies from the time they get up until they go to bed. I have been in various AMPs when the workers are watching Korean tapes on the VCR, sleeping, exercising, and sometimes go several hours between customers. Some days they may have 3 or less customers and other days they may have 10 or more each.
The AMPs I have personal knowledge of do, in fact, cook in. They don't cook on sterno cans. Some have full fledged kitchens, some have portable gas burners, but because the work ethic is what it is, they cook in so they can eat in. If a journalist with just an ounce of ambition looked at the various Asian businesses other than AMPs they would be quite surprised to find that Asians are extremely strong on work ethic. I used to patronize a Chinese takeout in the southern tier of NY that was a one man operation. He opened at 10:00 and was open past 9 PM 7 days a week. I was there one day when just about everything was closed due to a heavy snow and he was open. He might have been lucky to have 3 customers all day long but he was going to make sure they got their meals. These ladies stay in the AMPS because they feel it's part of their jobs.
As for the age issue, this writer would have been better served had he at least asked for documentation that they are under-aged. I sat in an oriental buffet about 3 weeks ago with 4 women who worked in an AMP that had been temporarily closed. I thought two of the ladies, whom I knew fairly well, were in their mid 30s. When the most senior of the 4 told me in passing that these two were both 45 I could have fallen off my chair. Regardless of what Asian country they come from, Asian women somehow age very well and the great majority look much younger than they are. This is a fact of life that non-Asians would not be familiar with unless they knew a little about the culture.
I've never read one report of drug involvement in any of the busts concerning AMPs so the writer was way out of line on that one, as he was on just about everything else. Like you, though, I've noticed how terribly nicotine addicted the women are.
The writer's assertion that the AMPs are "predominantly male" owned is just plain wrong. I know the owners of 3 AMPs and all are female. Talking to them I get the feeling that, in fact, the great majority of owners are females. So on this one, he's so far off base that in other instances a retraction would be in order.
Most of these women are single, DN, and the only instances of a papasan I am aware of are when the female owner is married. And he mostly stays out of the business.
I just wish one journalist who takes pride in his work would interview the workers who the police say are slaves and are working under threat of life or bodily harm. If the AMPs are going to be attacked on religious or moral ground then make it about that, but if they are going to be attacked by lies further perpetrated by the media, then the press may as well lobby to do away with freedom of the press.

As we near the one year anniversary of the Waterbury, CT nightmare, the editorial in the Pro-Jo reminds me of conversations I had with a reporter from the Waterbury Republican-American.
After reading his articles about the AMP raids I was compelled to contact him and set him straight. Those of you who have read my posts know that I am qualified; as are many others on this site; to address what really goes on in the AMP world.
About a week after our initial conversation I sat behind him in Waterbury Superior Court as the women received their sentences. I know several of them socially.
Outside the courthouse I asked him if he was going to do anything with the info I gave him. The reporter told me he was speaking with his editor about it.
The story never made it to print. "Human trafficking" will sell a lot more ad space than "Immigrants working to make money to send back to Korea."
The media and the lawmakers are sensationalizing the AMP situation. It's an easy target for them.

No, Downtown hasn't moved. The Admiral Street address is the one for Lily Spa. If you click on the website you will see on the home page it is named as the Lily Spa under it's Korean phonetic spelling Rilly Spa.
Funnily, the reviews section is for Downtown Acupressure and gives it's address on those pages.
The map/directions page gives the Admiral Street address but the red star is over the Custom House address. Quite possibly the 2 spas are somehow connected.

My previous figure of 112 listings in the Providence Phoenix was in error. It included duplicates and ads for the Providence Phoenix itself. The 103 agrees with the figure of 100 or so that Achorn gives for Rhode Island brothels. It is obvious that Achorn didn't do any more research other than looking at the Providence Phoenix and whatever propaganda the police and Gia Ninny might have given him. He talks about the extraordinary number of graphic sex ads in a local weekly that must be the Providence Phoenix. Yet the spa ads are very subdued, not graphic at all. It is some of the ads for the striptease clubs, escorts, and phone sex that are graphic. These of course employ virtually no asians. Achorn must be padding his figure for the number of brothels to get it up to 100 or so. He is evidently padding his figure with phone sex lines and with some outcall only escorts.

PROVIDENCE — Maj. Stephen Campbell, commander of the Providence police investigative bureau, informed a rapt audience that there are about 75 to 100 South Korean women providing sexual gratification to men in “10 to 11 brothels” scattered across Providence.
“They work from the time they get up til the time they go to bed,” he said. “They don’t go home at night.” Campbell said the women, mostly between the ages of 20 and 50, sleep on mattresses and cook from Sterno cans in the back rooms.
Achorn should have admitted he didn't make up all his turgid prose but stole some of it word for word from Major Campbell. Well he did add the adjective "dirty" relating to the mattresses. He inflated Malinowski's figure of 10 to 11 brothels to 100 or so, apparently by padding the number with non asian stripclubs, non asian escort services, and - god help us - phone sex lines.

You are right. Yoko was on the 2nd floor of 1021 Broad Street. (My memory is cloudy.) For a while back then, it was my favorite place. Apple/Peace of Mind/Japanese Spa is on the same floor of that building, but one door down. In my opinion, after it moved one door down, it was never quite as good. Since it moved, occasionally the TS water is chilly, the ladies are not as young, beautiful, and plentiful, and the rooms are not as nice.
I still go there every once in a while after downing a few at Cheaters. Last time I was there, the service was good. The woman was about a 5 and in her 40's maybe. I got BBBJ for $60 plus $60 for the room. The woman and the mamasan seemed very desperate for business, I remember thinking. The BBBJ for $60 was probably an aberration. I doubt they offer it at that price regularly.
There was another place on the left side of Atwells Avenue as you drive west from Route 95 with a name I cannot remember. It might have been just an apartment, not a full-blown spa. I only went once. The Asian lady was a little older, in her mid-40's maybe, but with a nice body. She was so extremely talented at AR and oral! The place had a simple Japanese name, my foggy memory suggests, although I do not think the woman was Japanese.

PAWTUCKET -Prostitution is legal in Rhode Island...Escorts are paid for appearing at an address and then customers can negotiate an additional payment for sex.
That is legal in Rhode Island. State law prohibits a woman or a man from detaining a passer by or stopping a motor vehicle with the intention of offering money for sex or sex for money.
Without a person being detained, no crime has been committed, even if someone accepts money for sex or pays money for sex.
That portion of the state law became clear seven years ago when detectives with the Pawtucket Police Special Squad raided the Tokyo Spa on East Street and arrested the women working there after one of them offered to have sex with a detective in return for $60. The detective had gone into the massage parlor as a customer, paid for a massage and stepped into a massage room.
Lawyer John Cicilline defended the woman and won a verdict of innocent after he read the law aloud in District Court.
Since then massage parlors and escort services have flourished in the state.

Since several people have said it was Tokyo, I guess it probably was; I remembered it as a city name, but I thought it was maybe Osaka. Anyway, it was there, and unlike most such places in RI it had a lot of exercise machines in the front room (you could see them through the window, but no one ever used them, of course).
The one on East Street was definitely named Tokyo. I think the first one was busted and closed down before the second opened. There was no similarity whatever in the staff (Shaw's plaza, young but bitchy; East Street, older and originally pleasant but they got meaner over the years) or facilities (Shaw's plaza, spiffy and shiny, sauna was really hot, etc.; East Street, substandard and got worse over the years, and the sauna was never hot), so I don't think they had the same management.

On the list of places, I am still interested to know if any offer FS and TS besides CH, DT, and the place on Broad Street that used to be Apple. DT is my current favorite, but variety is the spice!

9 to 11 AMPs in Providence is really not a lot. The small city of Waterbury, Connecticut had 10. Honolulu, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and of course New York City have far more.

VIP was in downtown Providence, or just on the edge thereof. I think it was on the corner of Friendship and Richmond. Can anybody confirm that? I loved that place.

I used to hit that place quite a bit on my way down to the casinos. It was OK but I never got FS, although I did dry fuck a couple of them. I must have been there, but can't quite place where it was. I have fond memories of the Swedish Sauna, both in its original downtown location (fairly near the present Custom House, up on the third or fourth floor of a reputedly mob-connected office building) and in its later location in the Airport Mall in Warwick. There were several really bad places on Westminster, too, and another in downtown Pawtucket (near the Apex department store). Briefly, there was one on the East Side, not too far from Brown. None of them were AMPs, of course, and there were no Asian masseuses; mostly white girls, some black, IME.
What a difference a couple of decades makes.

Having been essentially blown out the door last night, I decided to return this morning at like 10: 30 (Hours, 10. 10).

Being an AMP newbie, it is a shame you didn't read more about experiences on AMPs, in these pages. You missed out by not having the tableshower,(TS) a truely enjoyable experience. I could spend the whole hour in there if allowed. I wouldn't mind finding a place that was slow and the girl agreeable to allow me to give her a TS. Don't miss out on the TS next time.

It is BS. Don't kid yourself...try getting away with what you got for the house fee and it WILL BE your last time getting in the door! Who wants to be in the middle of or the cause of a bad scene? Besides, like waitresses, it is almost unconscionable to stiff them for a tip, especially if you want good service in the future.
A few years ago when midori was still open I left without giving a tip but that was because of very bad service. I explained to the lady on the way out, and I returned many times after that. I also have received bbbj before but not cim, so it can happen.

All I can say is that when the spray painting was complete, she appeared to spit into the ever handy towel? I felt no sensation, other than a warm mouth.
The place needs further study (from me that is). Next time, I will pay better attention, but, its tough while dining on a fine fresh salad.

That's why this thread is so short and devoid of any real pertinent AMP information. Don't waste your time reading through the old reports, 99% of them are just moronic questions from lazy newbies who aren't as smart as you.

Decided on the Monday morning tunr up at Harmony (again). This morning, I learned a valuable lesson from the experience.
Arrived at 10:20 (complete ghost town). Greeted at the door by "Kim," who I saw last week and was hustled into her room with the spead of light.
Taking advice from the board members kind enough to offer something possitive ( TS take note), I want for the table shower and I agree, it is a nice way to begin a tune up! However, I began to notice something else as well. This process was really moving along very quickly.
Kim became more talkative, remembering me, she is mid 30's, of mixed Korean/Japanese ethnicity.
Shower progressed to the table, face down, and she was immediately on me massaging my back, if you wanna call it that.
Again, only about 5 mins or so later and the lights went down and I was asked to flip, pillow handed to me for comfort and she was up with the fruit salad presentation, which as before, was a nice fresh fruit cup.
Again, I sware it was a BBBJ and felt down to make sure it was. This time though, lots of hand action as well. I did not attempt the f/s having been turned away the last time, with the same person.

Well, I got no responses to my request for info, so TOFTT. Saw an older woman, Hannah, excellent TS, started with a little prostate masage and more fun on the flip. DT too long time no see. After huffing and puffing up the stairs, was met by Julie. She is probably around 40 but could pass for early 30s, 5-1, in excellent shape, very attractive, only con was her bolt-ons. Very pleasant and friendly, totally unrushed. It was not busy - appeared to be one other customer when I arrived and one came while I was there.
Trip to the sauna to warm up, followed by one of the best table showers I have had in a long time. First, wanted to thank VV for listing one of my reports in 'Reports of Distinction' thread. I'm honored :)
Went to DT about two weeks ago (sorry for the delay). Met with what I believe is Julie as described by VV. I can only characterize as long black hair, excellent shape, in fact 'strong'. I asked her about it and she is very athletic with lots of history in gymnastics, sports. She is older but attractive. She also communicates well and is somewhat outspoken with clients if they need to be put in line (according to her).

Was not able to satisfy needs during the day, so ventured to Harmony tonight.
Did not see anyone else, but, heard someone, so they had somethings going down I guess.

.. but get out and experience these places, and report back. You can't go wrong with everything goes at CH / DT, and you won't go wrong with Lily for HR and a great massage. All places mentioned here have emphasis on client satisfaction.

Well, work had me in Providence, and my first visit was positive, so went back in for a second dip at the well. Hannah was busy and sent in Kim, a brute of a woman, younger and skilled, also big breasts, so I went along. She is schooled in MT, so massage was good. In my experience, HJ onlyWell, perhaps I got very lucky on my one visit to Pleasant. This was a couple years ago, on a rare visit to RI. When I saw in the paper that there was an AMP in Pawtucket (my hometown) I had to check it out.
I got a very cute girl wearing a t-shirt that said "Half Nice, Half Naughty" (Now there's a good omen). Plus it was her first day on the job!

Was in the N Prov area doing errands.
Have nt been to to this place in a couple years.
I was pretty quiet around lunch time.
Mamasan seemed friendly enough. 60$ fee. Show myself upstairs they were finishing lunch.
Hannah, an older thin reasonably attractive asian female. Age is never an issue for me. I ll take experience/technique any day.
I was feeling sore from a recent long road trip.
TS was not too bad. Certainly had better, certainly had worse.
Massage was draped. That did nt bother me She went too deep when I told her it was getting a bit painful. I get my share of therapeutic massages and know the line between good/bad pain.
The massage last about 45 minutes and then she told me was there anywhere else and she was done. There was nt even a "flip".
I asked her if she could do more work on my groin/lower legs. Then she asked me was there any place else and I gestered. She asked me how much? I told her $40 was the usual and she refused. In fact she got angry
Certainly I won't be going back there.

The only reasons I go there as opposed to others are:
It's been easier to get in and out of. Parking's right there. DT's a chore, haven't gone to CH.
An older girl there named Cookie (5 out of 10 face, very nice body) is friendly, talkative when it's a good time, quiet when needed; makes the experience good. She also gives one hell of a table shower. Not as good as Sunny at DT, but pretty close. You know what the options are: . 6 door and. 6 tip. If Cookie, when she knows you, decides to tickle your saggy friends with her tongue, maybe. 7 tip.
I only saw two girls there all the other times I went: Cookie and Angel.
As I said, Cookie's older (late 30's), petite, firm body. Friendly and after 2-3 visits and she recognizes you, she gets playful. Not BJ or FS playful, but she REALLY cleans things up in the shower. And the tongue tickle is only for the yambag. I've asked and offered $ many times for more and gotten nowhere.
Angel's maybe late 20's, same body. Seems to be removed from the experience; tends to be a little mechanical with the process. Shower's quick, rub's not bad, but not great, and tug's good, but mainly nothing great.

Went to Lily’s Wednesday morning, one other car in the lot. Mamasan remembers me from the last two times that I had been there and I ask about Tasha, who I have reported on before. Last time I was there they said she was on vacation. When Tasha comes in (tattoos on arm and back shoulder) she tells me that she had been I'll. Everything was good except that after reading the report on Angie I really tried to get some roaming hands to no avail. In preparation for the 3-day getaway, I thought that a good tune up was in order. Stopped by Harmony at 10: 30 and was met (2nd time) by Kim at the door. And she looked like hell and appeared to be emotionally sad and down.
We have gotten along pretty well in the past, so I sat her down with me and tried to speak with her at to the reason why. There was something going on, but she said she was tired (sort of to dismiss the question).
I decided not to stay and offered her. 6 anyway so that she would have some extra spending money (in case an earlier person might have stiffed her? )
She refused and understood why I was leaving.
She was also totally soaking wet with perspiration. Perhaps there was another issue at hand? Don't know, but, left depressed.

I've been reading these posting about what's good and what's not and I haven't heard anything about NM. NM has been one of my favorite places to go as long as I can remember. The service has always been good as well as the TS. No FS in this place but they do make it up with the massage.
I'm wondering if any place new has opened recently. I've tried the lot except for Harmony which I get mixed reviews. Just looking for a back up when NM is busy.

Went by DT this evening. Very slow with the holiday weekend upon us. ( I was the only one there.) Mamasan took me to the room and shortly later Julie came in. She was pleasant with the familar small talk. 5' about 115 # with small breasts. Typical sauna and TS session, then back to the room for a nice rub down. Then something strange. Well, considering the decline recently experienced at Harmony and the fine reviews of DT, I thought I would drop by tonight.

I've been reading these posting about what's good and what's not and I haven't heard anything about NM. NM has been one of my favorite places to go as long as I can remember. The service has always been good as well as the TS. No FS in this place but they do make it up with the massage.
I'm wondering if any place new has opened recently. I've tried the lot except for Harmony which I get mixed reviews. Just looking for a back up when NM is busy.My experiences the past couple of years at NM have been good. I have had "good massage" experiences that my back really needed. Had been there twice before with some good experiences. However, last week when I stopped in, I was greeted by Asian gent (I am being kind, imagine character from Killing Fields). Also, in outer room were a couple Hispanic gents (think of itinerant farm laborers). Did not encounter any outsiders in my previous visits there.
Was led to room by aforementioned Asian gentlemen and met by 40ish Chinese named Kim(???) At least that was what I could understand from her mumbling. 40ish and not too bad if you like women with no personality. Good massage technique but HJ seemed like she was doing me a favor.
Nothing outstanding to report, it was just very uncomfortable with so many people around. Not condusive to an enjoyable experience.
Would not recommend and I will not be going back.

I have actually been going to DT exclusively over the past several weeks, and on the last 4 occasions have seen Julie (I've made appointments with her).
What's a little bit cool is Julie tries to do something a little bit different each time. I hear you. I know this is not the point of the report, however this prompted me to reminisce about the AMPs in the South Bay and San Jose area (OMG!).
These places are second to none for quality and value. Korean girls are advertised with full beautiful PICs, and are ready to serve. These girls are absolutely the same in PICS and are absolutely beautiful. I was there 4-5 months ago and visited every night at various areas for a week.
Bottom line is I would hate to have any sting ruin what we have here, and I hope that if I return someday on West Coast I still have waiting what I remember fondly.

I know this is not the point of the report, however this prompted me to reminisce about the AMPs in the South Bay and San Jose area (OMG!).

I did not need the sauna, she insisted, I presume to go check out my pockets for loot.
1. If you are that worried, you should use the little plastic zip-pack they have and take your valuables w/ you to the TS, sauna and bathroom.
2. The chances that of her taking your loot are extremely low. Lower than the chances of anyone else you might typically encounter outside your home taking your loot. If you are not familiar with it, you might be stunned by the honesty of these ladies when it comes to money. The ladies at DT make good money and do not need to take a small sum of yours.

The reason for this is the the search engine will not pick up abbreviations like DT or CH (CH is of course Central Health, but note that it could also stand on rare occasion for Custom House-and example of confusion that these abbreviations can cause.)
This would help the list in two ways. First, newbies and indeed all members could easily look at the complete number of reports for every AMP. Second, for seasoned members, their list would be less clogged with people asking RTFF questions.
Just a suggestion.

Ok, had some time during lunch and spouse was busy at appointment, decided to walk down and check out Bali's after seeing it listed in the phoenix. Get to the door of the building, but it's locked. Remember it's about 1:30 pm, there are buzzers on the wall, but none list the spa or floor.
I returned at 4:30 and the results were the same. Tried the phone number listed but goes to a voicemail.

It's the first door on your right, closest to the corner. There are a few granite steps up to the glass door. I believe it lists Downtown Accupressure and the name of a mortgage company on the glass door.
There is also a doorbell to the left of the door in case it's locked when you get there. Ring the bell to get buzzed in.

Ok, had some time during lunch and spouse was busy at appointment, decided to walk down and check out Bali's after seeing it listed in the phoenix. Get to the door of the building, but it's locked. Remember it's about 1:30 pm, there are buzzers on the wall, but none list the spa or floor.

Whenever I go to Apple/Japan I park in the lot behind the building and then push the buzzer on the sidestreet entrance. I have always liked the place and had some great times but it is a tough neighborhood and always ask mamasan to keep an eye on my car. A couple of years ago some guy wrote in TBD that he parked on Broad St and when he came out his car was stolen. I never felt comfortable there after that but always parked in the lot.

You'll note the following things:
1) it's now illegal to have an AMP that engages in forced human trafficking. Unfortunately, and whether you believe it or not, most of the places in RI that are AMPs fit the bill. Not all the "therapists" are forced, but some are. So, I think with passage of this bill, you can expect more LE at these places.
2) YOU won't get busted. There's no provision in the law that makes you at fault. So, go ahead and visit, but expect them to start closing down repeatedly, being hard to find, and (perhaps) jacking prices or making negotiations more subtle.
3) This in no way impacts a place like Cheaters. But at cheater's you have to lower your requirements somewhat... and frickin' douse your dick in purell after you're done! That won't prevent diseases, but it'll reduce the chances. Keep a little vial of the stuff in your pocket.

It was interesting.

Well I am a very new hobbyist, and after watching an episode of Cathouse on HBO was ready to book an expensive trip. A search on Wikipedia told me that little Rhody was the only other state with somewhat legal action. That took me to a RI monthly article that mentioned this site. $$.20 at an AMP is better than a $2,400 Reno trip! Yes I know you could get a PSE out there with multiple pops etc, but I think some of the talent at our AMP's is better bodywise than a lot in that Cathouse line up.

If you have evidence of your assertion, present it to the Rhode Island authorities, since apparently they have never (with one possible exception, the bust of DT that was incorporated into the big East Coast federal bust a year ago) been able to find any such evidence themselves despite all their repeated bluster and propaganda. See, if they HAD found such evidence, there are ALREADY laws (including an Amendment to the US Constititution--y'know?) making the "trafficking" illegal. People have, rightly, been convicted for breaking those laws in other states. Not in Rhode Island. So put your money where your mouth is, or shut up.
