Seems like the greatest activity is in the morning hours 9-11 on Casual Encounters. They don't linger. Either they are flagged or author removed within 30 or so minutes. It has been the happy hunting grounds all summer.

Long time lurker, first time poster. So, in my dream I realistically was / am looking for a relationship. I have tried dating sites, and bars even though I'm not really much of a drinker. No luck.
Frustrated about not being able to find a relationship in my dream, I figured I would at least try to lose "it". Again, tried dating sites, as well as bars. Again not much of a drinker. Still no luck. I decided to try CL. No luck, just spam email with links to websites to visit, BP. So doing my research I decided to read your boards, and I have to admit, I'm REALLY concerned. The Davenport streets have been dead more often than not. I can not recall the last time I got lucky there. I was in town earlier this week and there were no girls out. Cruised the area several times once when I got to town then again about 3 hours later when I had done what I had come to town for. The cold weather might be keeping soem girls in but I would think some of them would be needed money for their meds.

I was reading a story about a Davenport sting of 53 people on another site. The story doesn't add up. I was reading a story about a Davenport sting of 53 people on another site. The story doesn't add up. While the current holiday timing for a sting is likely the story and location conditions make the story highly implausible. Nor have I seen a recent story listed on any other local media link. The link did have an update of 8 hours. But the location in question has been under mostly underwater since before Independence day. Any SW would be needing to use a boat for a party. I have to wonder if someone in LE or TV-land is playing mind games. The story looks like an old story from December of 2005. The names, places and totals at the link listed match the old 2005 story. Can attest to the fact that the river has flooded. Was in town yesterday and the highway out of town to the SW was closed down and acces to the Shell gas station was only via the side street that was flooded up to almost the entrance. Weird in that leaving down vis the Centenial Bridge the Illinois side of the river had no flooding.
As far as girls go I saw about 5 out. 3 of them looked OK from a block away but were eother igly or real old when I got close. 1 was both.
