Yes, Danzers always seemed the best to me when I lived in Lafayette. I did like it a lot better when they had their place over on the west side.
Chances Are is a rip-off. Yeah, the chicks are better looking, but totally out for the take -- no fun at all.

Other times, the lights are dimmed, and a good time can be had (or at least begun).

I won't name names (for the protection of the guilty) but in general, the VIP dances at Danzers for. 2+ are the best in town, and rival Brass and the Hugger for quality and mileage. Some girls will try to "renegotiate" during the dance for extra contact, so make sure you have an agreement before you pay up. They're all pretty open about what they will and won't allow and what it costs.

The Mexican bit was sort of a joke: I'm a Senior Member over at the International section of this board, where I've written lots on Mexico, and I thought that status would be transferred to the US section as well. So, I'm not a first poster and would be glad to help out further concerning Mexico is what I wanted to say. So on my visit to Indy I missed out on the only AMP in town since they close at the absurd hour of 6pm, and then I got stuck in Lafayette. No offense to the area - Purdue and it's surroundings are kind of cool. But damn is it hard to hook up! I trolled CL for hours but no bites at all. Yes, from my recent, first forays to the clubs, there is one club where dances like the one you describe are not hard to find at all. I've gotten some pretty decent laps at another club as well. Not like home for me either!
Also, as you note, seems like meeting for extracurricular activities isn't hard. Indeed, from the few months I've been here, I'm guessing lots of Indianan women in general would be willing to make a few extra bucks in that way.

Admission is still $5 and it looked like they remodeled.

So I decided to give Filly's another go. It had been months since I went, and, surprise, surprise--the vibe was much, much better than at Danzers. Maybe about 7 or 8 dancers, but still, things seemed happening. Also, since I was last there, there's been remodelling in the private dance section. The good news: There are now two little, super super private dance cubicles way in the back. I went there by accident with a girl, and as I walked by the first cubicle, I couldn't see ANYTHING!
Unfortunately, wasn't able to find out the price for the use of those little cubicles. The bad news: If you want a regular 20 buck lap dance, well, you got to do it in a very un-private lobby-like-looking place--one room with a bunch of couches about and too much light.
Though I didn't ask, my guess is that at least 2 dancers at the latter club would have been interested in off-campus fun. At the former club, no one.

Bounced around to all the clubs here in Lafayette tonight. I started at Danzers and left for Chances Are, back to Danzers and finished at Fillies. Chances Are and Fillies were both dead. I went to Lafayette yesterday to visit the strip joints. All that I can say was it was bad! Save your time and dollar. Fillys had 2 girls working one big blond and another big brunette. No dancing the entire time I was there.
Danzers was a bust as well. One old dancer and the other wasn't much better. They do have a nice looking waitress.
This is why I always go to the Hip Hugger in Kokomo. It is one of those places that you can always count on.

Look, there are gonna be nights and days where there's a paucity of dancers. This is especially true on weekdays and on Sundays. And this is not just a Lafayette phenomenon. There are ebbs and flows in the number of dancers at clubs across the entire country--and surely even in Kokomo.
As for Danzers and Fillies, Friday and Saturday nights are your best bet for a good number of chicas. I certainly would not totally give up on Lafayette SCs just because of one lame evening.

Chances Are has the best looking dancers, and the least contact and take-out. Danzers has decent-looking girls, good contact, and some opportunities OTC. Fillys has the lowest-quality dancers, high contact, and best take-out menu. This is all speaking generally, of course, as YMMV on any given night with any given girl.
And if you're in the area and considering a side-trip to any nearby clubs in other towns, Kokomo is your only option. The club in Crawfordsville is in need of some serious attention and probably won't get it with current ownership. The legendary Danville, IL is dead now. One would have to go as far as Indy or NW IN to do any better.

The dancers at the Lafayette clubs are generally not college girls; same for the customers. For better or worse, the action continues on through the summer. This excludes exceptionally nice days; it seems like customers find better things to do when the weather cooperates.
Had a couple of hours to kill so I decided to give Filly's a shot. I do not frequent Lafayette strip clubs very often. When I have a little time to kill I usually head to hh2 (1st choice) or to Indy. I have to say tonight was one of those nights when I realize why I drive a hour each way instead of staying close to home. There were 8 girls working but 5 of them were pushing 200 lbs. The other 3 were ok but these girls don't even try. I was there for 2 hours and was not even ask for 1 private dance. Maybe I use to the 'hugger girls' way of working everyone for dances but this was BORING. These girls were satisfied with a dollar tip after their dance. Anyway this post is going on way too long so I'm going to end it by saying would someone please post something on this board? There has to be some good info out there.

I'm glad it is not just me wondering why the night shift at Fillies doesn't even seem to try (I've never been there during the day, so I don't know if it is different then.) Also, yes, often there's just a half dozen of pretty ugly dancers.

I was actually wondering the same thing when reading that review. When I saw your post, I decided to message victoriasplayhouse and ask her. She responded saying that she works at Danzers mostly on the weekends. If you check out blueeyesvelvett's profile, you'll see that she is the same person as victoria since they have the same pictures, similar stats, and the same contact phone number. The reason I mention this is because Bundok's post from April in this thread (post #44) mentions a Velvett at Danzers who matches the e.com profiles.

Things seem to change a lot in the Lafayette SC scene, even more so than other towns. Girls move from place to place all the time (and back and forth with Kokomo), so don't put too much stock in her current place of employment. Danzers seems to be the best option for takeout though.

Finally checked out the clubs last week, early evening on a weekday. Danzers was dead. There were long periods in between dances, and the girls didn't roam around asking for privates.
Fillie's was also dead, but the ladies were eager to earn some extra cash. 100 looks to be the going rate for BBBJCIM, .5 for the backroom private dance and. 5 for the act. I've never had to ask-it's just been offered. Just wait for a lady to ask you if you want to go back for a private and then you should be golden.

JayDepending on how you're going about getting to Lafayette I would say your options are much better off stopping in Indy or even kokomo to play along the way, if either of these are an option PM me for more details.

I've been going to the strip bars for several years (back to when Danzers was Gages and down on.
Wabash Avenue) and never gotten more than your basic happy ending. Friday night, around dinner.
Time, I went into Filly's and there were six ladies. 5 in the 6-8 range and one in the 4-6 range, all.

Strolled into Danzers around 4, no cover, straight to the bar, hit the waitress up (she's pretty cute BTW) and tip hard on my bottle of water and ask who I should be interested in. The place is dead, there's about 4 gals of varying hotness and about 5 guys who I would size up as regulars, seen them before on day shift.
She points to (IMO) the best looking one and says "you need to hang with her."
She's at the bar by herself, but I'm coy so I go grab a table. It takes about two minutes and some arms slink around me and I get a little tongue on the back of my ear and a "can I sit down?" Hot. Damn.
So we sit, we talk, she introduces herself as "C", we get to talking. She's been night shift infrequently, so I haven't met her on days before. I get interrupted twice by the two ugliest gals pimping for tips after their dance (I HATE that. If you were hot and your dance was good, I would do something about it).
Her stage set, I make change and start tipping. She is hands-on Little Red through the jeans on stage, so I'm really thinking we can close the deal here.
And we do. Back to the chair, we start talking, head back for private dances. Hands on, mouth on, awesome, hot, excellent.

Spent a few hours there this afternoon. Hit it off really well with one regular dancer, but spent too much $ only to find out she is a professional stripper, and nothing more. I really, really got the feeling there was an expanded menu, but she closed the book on that pretty quickly in the "private dance" room, which isn't really all that private. The VIP roomsatFilly's are a lot better suited to exploring menu items.
Having said that, I try Danzers every once in a while, because that is where I had a fling with a dancer a few years ago. Maybe it is those fond memories that drive me to try that place again and again. And when I feel like I hit it off with one of the gals there, one thing doesn't always lead to another, and I leave lighter in wallet and in spirits, as was the case today. I was actually at Filly's for a half hour before then, but that Russian instructor was absent, and the only two other ladies I was interested in were congregating with other gentlemen, which was when I headed to Danzers. A return trip will be on my next adventure agenda. A return to F, not D.

Went to Danzers Friday night. I guess I was right about the new $10 cover charge. And it is not popular. And those two new spaces have swanky seating and windows with shades that open up to the main floor. Thus, you can open the shades when you want and order more drinks for you and your chica if you wish.

Popped into Fillys and maybe because it was the end of the month the girls seemed to be more open than usual. I very much recommend a nice blond spinner that goes by Baby. She is very willing to give you a hand in the private rooms.

From what I've read, I'm guessing Kokomo is still a safer bet. The only thing that has changed at Danzers is more privacy for the entire dance area. It now has the most private $20 dance area as well as the most private $60+ dance areas. (Apparently, those two new rooms start at $77. And you also get a refund on the entrance fee. Not sure exactly, but that's what a girl told me).
But new private areas don't necessarily mean a change in the culture of the club. So, that's why I'll repeat that Kokomo might still be a better bet for you.

Privates at Danzers have gotten much better recently. The dances are completely private and I've gotten HJ, BBBJ, and DATY for very reasonable rates. Didn't get any names and the lineup of girls really shifts from day to day but lately I've gotten luck more often than not.

Things were definitely looking up, and she and I spent some time together which was quite enjoyable and arousing, but didn't really go to that "next level". Then, from across the room, a vision. He kissed me right in the middle of my ass! Right in the middle! I told him I don't do that kind of thing. Not without getting paid."
Those words were an obvious invitation, so I ponied up for some private time that paid off in spades. I took her to the back, where she made it clear that while she's pretty reserved in the public areas, private dances are where she really shines. Don't ask, gentlemen, just do. Whatever you want, and feel you can get away with in a semi-open private area that's occasionally peeked in on by staff. If you ask about anything, she'll tell you it's off limits, but if you keep your mouth shut, it's not.
After a good bit of exploration in the private area, I offered to put a roof over the poor girl's head, because I'm all about helping the homeless. This lead to a very long night which has made this old man tired but refreshed. Long story short: why not stop by the Touch of Class, or any other dive club really. Who knows what you'll run into?
EDIT 1: Also learned that the club has FINALLY been sold, although I was disturbed to find Worm and Patty and Billie still working the place. Supposedly, next week the new management takes over and will finally be making some much-needed changes. The owner of Koyote in TH and a few other clubs is the buyer, which to me is great news.
EDIT 2: I left the name and former state out purposely. There are enough clues to find her easily, if she's there.
A couple newbies posted with questions. As for Danzers, if she rubs it with her hand in the first dance, get a second dance and ask her if she can keep her hand down there. Has worked very well for me. That's often all you can get at Danzers.
Fillys is rather different. You can get the $20 dance and do the same thing I just described and then go to the VIP for more. Or you can just take a risk with the VIP.
In short, my trick is this: If she rubs you down there a good amount with her hand, that is a very good sign for better thing to come. If she never touches it AT ALL, forget about her and move on.
Last week 7 dancers were arrested in Kokomo on prostitution charges. So, we got to be careful.
But that also means that it is a good thing when chatting with a girl to inquire about how long she has been working in Lafayette. And if she says "about 3 months," say,"Oh! But you danced so well on stage! How'd you learn so fast? Or did you work at other places before?"
If she says she worked at Kokomo or Indy or says she's worked all over the country or whatever, that is a good sign--since there is a good reason why 7 girls were recently arrested in Kokomo. But if she says that she really is totally new to stripping, best to pass.
atJLee: I think Blueeyedvelvett changed her name to Sparkle. But last few times I've been to Danzers, she wasn't in the house. Last time I saw her there was mid April.

Went to Filly's with a friend recently. Was my first time there. Did not have high expectations. Too many horror stories. Three girls working that night, two black and one white. First time visiting Danzers. I have been to strip clubs in South Florida but never visited strip club in small towns. Reached there around 6 PM and there were only one dancer and two customers. First time saw bartender performing in a strip club! She danced for just one song though. After about half an hour more girls and customers started coming. Quality of girls varies but I will rate most of them above average, at least in looks. The highlight of the evening for me was Bambi. Cute face, perfect body. Wanted to get private dance from her but she was occupied the entire time. Was approached by "Italy" for private dance and decided to give it a go. Two dances, $30 each. Pretty costly I will say. Fun time.
As someone else mentioned before girls weren't too interested in making money and some were just sitting, sipping alcohol. Very few were offering private dance, as if they don't care much about extra $30. By the way do they even have a Champagne room?

They have VIP. I was offered 300 plus tip for 15 minutes and 400 no mention of tip. It used to be 3 songs for 150 back when private was 20, so it seems that maybe they were the normal prices.

If you can come in a couple of times a week during slow hours and chat and get to know someone, it can lead to something more serious. I've had other "relationships" with strippers as well, and they always *always* start with casual conversation during slow hours. Of course they always *always* also end with some request for financial assistance of some kind but it's more of a "I can't pay my rent" or "I am splitting up with my bf and I need to buy some bedding for my new place" type of thing. Most of them have some semblance of self-respect and would rather it not be a cash-for-sex transaction even if that's practically what it boils down to. Been to Danzers a few times now. It is constantly okay. Nothing special yet. Haven't gotten my jimmy licked in the private dance room, but I'ma keep trying.
The cover charge is $5 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. The best time to go is on Thursday nights, a week before the end of the month. That's when the ratio of dancers to horny fucks is in our favor.
There are a few good looking girls. Poppys cute. She's got a fat pair on a small frame. I don't recommend her private dances though. If minimum effort had a name and a face, it would be Poppy. She's nice to look at but that's pretty much it. I recommend tipping during a dance just to feel those melons.

Was in Lafayette for a day recently and visited Danzer's.
It was a Tuesday night and was, as expected, a light crowd. Maybe 8-10 patrons and 4-6 dancers. There was one dancer that was smoking hot with a perfect white bikini on and I went and tipped her at the stage. I was interested in a private dance from her.
I went back to my table and she joined another guy to chat for a bit and then headed to private dance.
A few more dancers cycled through the stage. They were not my cup of tea and their pole skills were like a bad blooper reel. On of them cycled off the stage and asked if I would like to (pitty) tip her. I gave her a 5, and she moved on to talk to someone else for 20 minutes.
Usually when I head to the strip clubs I'm ready to make poor financial decisions and spend an hour or more getting private dances from a slate of dancers.
I'm baffled by Dancer's as I have had similar experiences in the past couple years. I would think the girls would want to get every last buck out of guys that frequent the club.
Hot white Bikini came back and returned her guest to his table. I figured, awesome, now is my chance. No such luck, she went to the DJ and took her name off the rotation list, changed, and headed out. Rats! .I decided to call it a night too.
That night, I left with a lot of cash, which was probably for the best.
On a side note, I had a good run with a stripper that worked at Dancer's and one of the Indy clubs. Met up with her outside the club for dinner and she was a hot one! Who knows, maybe the club will get some energy down the road.

I just know they suddenly dropped down to a non-alcoholic 18 and up bar only open twice a week. Seriously that wasn't going to last.

Out of towner visiting and stopped by Danzers. Let me just say everything in this place is a total ripoff. $5 cover on a Weds night with 3 girls working and no crowd. Shots seem to average $10-12 and they are tiny little plastic shot cups. Trying to enjoy my overpriced 10 oz beer and had every single girl come up to me asking for tips after they got off stage. Struck up a convo with a red headed girl who goes by vixen. The only good thing of the night, as she was pretty much my type of stripper. She says they have to rotate to the stage and pay for their own songs to play, so unless they come off stage and hustle dudes for tips, it winds up costing them money to go up. WTF? How about have the juke box auto play when you don't have a big crowd?
Went to the back with vixen at $30 per song, paid up front to the bouncer man. $90 for basically an air dance, and she told me $15 per song goes to the house. Again WTF? Paying up front there is zero incentive for the girls to put effort into the performance which was clearly the case here.
Back to the bar for another beer and cashed out with my $34 tab + tax. That was for 2 tiny ass shots and 2 10 oz Miller lites.
The only one making money here is the bar owner. In all my years of mongering across the country, I've yet to see anything like this. If you're visiting the area I'd recommend a hard pass on this joint.

First time going to a strip club in years, I went on a Friday around 11 pm. Many dancers! Like 10-12, not sure, too many to count. About half of the ladies were very beautiful and respectful. The others just weren't my type. The private dance I got was $30, it was a fun and quality dance. At least better than the ones I got back home. I actually talked a lot to one of the girls and even got here phone number. Let's see where that leads.
The beer I got was two dollars a pop. I don't drink much so one was enough for me. Staff was respectful, helpful and to the point. Best of luck to you all <3.

Apparently they're back open. Anyone gone? Any info one way or another?Went last night. Hours 10 PM to 5 AM Th-Sat. Cover 10 bucks. They're still trying to get a liquor license. I was told 10/3 is the hearing. Prices are 20 for 1 dance, 75 for 15 minutes, 150 for 30 minutes, and 300 for 1 hour in private room. Cameras pointed down directly at couch so I wouldn't hold my breath on anything other than a dance for awhile, at least until some dancers learn how monitored the cameras are. There was also a VIP room; I did not partake nor did I ask how much but I have to imagine there's cameras in there too. Dancers were what I expected from small town club. There were 7 there when I left at 1 but only like 3 attractive ones. Overall I'd stick to the Hugger going forward. Slightly better chance of extras and if nothing else better lap dances. Will probably go again in 6 months just to see if anything has changed.
