It may be known as the oldest profession, but one Michiana city doesn't take to kindly to it.
Elkhart officials announced details of an undercover prostitution sting Thursday. This is phase 1 of a neighborhood crime initiative issued by Mayor David Miller.
The sting started Monday and 14 arrests have been made, 11 for patronizing a prostitute and 3 for prostitution.
Officials say this has made a direct impact on the Near West Central neighborhood that was targeted.
"If you come here to seek the services of a prostitute, you will be arrested, you will be jailed, you're vehicle will be impounded and your name, address and photograph will go on the Internet," said Director of Public Safety Nelson Chipman.

Officials say they will continue the undercover sting operation and move it north or south.
