A couple more suggestions. As you cruise the neighborhood also look for one or more guys sitting in a car a block or so from the SW. Also if you have the money buy a small handheld scanner that covers police freqs. Most larger cities use trunked radios so make sure to get the right scanner. Last I checked the Batmobil is equipped with the latest weapons arsenal so why would I have to worry about thugs in the Detroit area? When they see the Batmobil appear, they run! Seriously though, it's been two years that I ve been setting foot in the Detroit area and I just absolutely love downtown Detroit, its casinos and stripclubs. Way better than Toledo! And yeah I know Detroit can be a dangerous place but thus far nothing bad has ever happened to me and I doubt anything will. I like to play hard but am also very careful. When I smell trouble, even if I see a 10 on the SW scale, I keep driving! But I ve seen and been in far more dangerous places than Detroit. Such as parts of Chicago, New York, Mexico and Brazil. So if I was able to walk into some of the worst hoods in those places and still come out without a scratch, I know I can handle Detroit! Detroit is paradise compared to some of those places that I been to. Trust me Detroit is not the scariest place on this earth; its bad but it aint Afghanistan either! If you check my last post about finding a SW in Detroit, it dates back to two months ago when I was with Barbie. I never have any luck with SW. I've only ever had 2, neither of which could get me me to go with their mediocre BBBJ. If you pick up a SW never park where she tells you, or drop her off where she tells you (dope house) Always drive 10 to 15 minutes away from where you picked her up from (and keep an eye on that rear view mirror) A 15 minute drive out of the area where you picked her up at means a 60 minute walk back, so she will be less likely to cash and dash.

I really do not think the cameras are a bad idea. Toledo and crime has been bad over the past couple years. If this can cut back on some of the drugs and shootings it is a good thing. For those that pickup SW though you just need to be educated of the locations and watch for the mobile ones, which stick out like a sore thumb.

So, it's cold outside and we have nothing better to do than bicker. Understandable.

Here's the thing: Several of our old favorites have faded away, some are getting their pictures taken by Lucas County more often than by MwJrp (with all due respect) , some have moved from SW to posting on BP (most likely to stay out of the cold) , some have evolved to the level of managing their phones better (making appointments rather than walking) and some have just gotten plain nasty.

The "Eye in the Sky" certainly has some affect on our level of paranoia, probably a good thing, keeps us sharp in our thinking.

But, I suspect, that the holidays, the economy and the increase in UTR dating has probably made this thread rather thin.

I have a suggestion; When you do happen to have the opportunity to spend some time with one (or more) of our lovely ladies, just post that you had the opportunity and share the details via PMs. The bickering has really become distasteful. We are all better allies than adversaries.

First off, this is just a simple little spat, that I don't think qualifies as tarnishing the board. I agree with JW that a certain amount of arguing is good if done respectfully. That to me means making your point, instead of thinking of a smartass way to make your point, like putting the other monger down or calling names, etc. For example, the whole deal with PhilthyRich a few pages back got way out of control. When posting an argumentative post, you have to think about being better than that. Simply state your point respectfully.

We are a fairly large group of men swimming in the same pool of poon. There are going to be disagreements about girls, how to treat them, what to pay, etc. It is always going to happen. If there were a bar or clubhouse in each city where there is a posting site, where we could meet up, there would probably be arguments, spats, and fights regularly. The fact that we are still chasing poon like we are in junior high probably means we carry a little more testosterone than average. We all have rather strong, hard earned opinions on things. Disagreements and arguments are bound to happen. An argument carried out respectfully on the board gives the reader two points to think about and apply or not apply to how he thinks about things or does things.

In closing, Ben7469, do not let a little argumentation turn you from the site. I mongered for over 20 years before discovering it a few months ago, and have learned quite a bit from it. The info is fantastic, and when you have contributed and gained respect, it gets even better. MrHungwell, you have contributed valuable info to the site, and it is silly to punish yourself and the board for joining in a simple fracas. Just tell yourself you have to do better.

Gentlemen, I find myself with a free Saturday night tomorrow. I've had a little experience in Toledo (3. 4 trips in the last month or so). My only experience seeing the sights was around EB snd Starr. The last time I was there, it was like a ghost town. And it looked like uncle leo had moved in for good.
