I have seen her around main and James and around the new walmart on main looks to be mid 20's to 30's long blond hair about to her but with a winter coat half off slide down to about her wast. I had seen her out around 6:00 pm to 1:00 pm

There was a little brunette sporting DDs walking on the southside of Sullivant just across from Catherine when I passed. She was wearing jeans and an orange/salmon colored t-shirt.
By the time I circled back around she'd moved to the northside where the only place to pull in are those administrative buildings. Don't know who they belong but I wasn't about to make a turn in there so I swung around again and am glad I did.
A patrol car was sitting back on the other side of the field in the parking area with binoculars. You could only see him if you were driving east bound on Sullivant and happended to look to the back.
I don't know if she was a setup or just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.Saw her earlier that night and also the next night. She is playing but I wasn't fast enough to get to her first.
She did look very nice with a great set.

That is State Property back in there. Mental Health facilitys. The Highway Patrol and the State Police patrol in there. Also CPD sets up in their just like you said. In that area, it is always good to glance over in that property to see what is parked there. Most likely not a set up - just being watched. However if you had of picked her up and she is known prostitute - they can pull you over and give you a hassle. Driving off was the right thing to do.

Ok I'm still green but proud to say I made good use of the safety warnings everypone has popsted so not to have been ripped off. Less than desirable experiences but never ripped off. Until now.
Met Toni about 2:30 on Sully near Hawkes. First spot we went turned into Grand Central Station with so many people coming by. After 10 minutes of looking we go to a place she selected. I'd already gave her the money from her first attempt instead of waiting till she finished and broke the second rule of letting her pick the spot thoinking that with the reviews she'd gotten I could trust her. Lesson learned the hardway. She bailed before I had the vehicle in park and was off to a public area before I could get out. Guess my initiation is complete!

Chill son - they did it to curb Child Prostitution and Human trafficking. Unfortunately CL was being used for that. Those who want to post on it will find ways to make it. Give them time. I had an opportunity to visit your fair city about 2 weeks ago. I cruised Sully and found some interesting sights down at the bottoms.
There was some serious LE out, but they were busy with a particular house. Later, I saw the coronor car.

As for "Riots", at the early afternoon hour ALL I saw on Cleveland Ave were cookouts and people trying to flag people down to vote for Obama. I CAN add that at about the 7pm timeframe when I drove up from Morse Road up Cleveland Ave towards Polaris area that I saw about 4-5 McCain supporters on the east side of Cleveland shouting at about 20+ Obama supportier on the west side of the street. Guessing it was a voting area, but all I heard was like a "pep rally" with cheers no bottles or rocks.

Maybe to you and the rest it is personal, but I don't know who Nikki is But Karri Brofford/Roberts I surely do, I almost had her and her gang when she was on Morse Rd. area, now I know she is on W. Broad Street probably near her old Ogen address I will surely get her and this Captainsavaho. And will be watching this board closely! This might not be the perfect forum to post this in. But I'm curious if anyone else has seen or run into the two girls in the photo?
They're running a scam in the Columbus and possibly Dayton areas, getting guys to fork over money to help buy them shrooms and whatnot and then running off with the money.
They weren't offering sex for sale. They just said they wanted to get high and party a bit with a guy.

Yeah, I very rarely pick up BSWs nowadays, you can usually expect lots of trouble with them. Shadow1's experience is one I have had a couple dozen times. Its not that way all the time, but BSWs are always whining about where to park, money, time, and are generally known for substandard service. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part, they perpetuate the stereotype.I totally disagree. If you don't get assertive, then you will get what you get. Sounds like you barter with them. 22 Rules for SW Mongering
1. IS SHE? - It ain't like in the movies - at least, not in Da Burgh! They wear ordinary clothes, and are just walking alone, with no bags, or maybe making a phone call at a pay phone (but if you checked, there's no one on the line). Believe it or not, a girl walking alone and without shopping bags on a hobbyist street is almost always a SW.

11. Make a turn or two before discussing $$, just in case. Watch your rear view - you can bet she will, too! I've never heard of LE getting in the car, with a follower, but better safe than sorry. A known LE trick - she doesn't get in, but directs you to meet her around the corner. Guess who's waiting there, instead of her? If she doesn't get in right away, move on!
12. AVOIDING SCAMS - If you do a car date, and you let her pick the spot (she'll try to direct you), be aware that she may be setting you up for a robbery. Don't settle for her spot - or at least, force her to come up with a second choice. Her boyfriend can't be in two places at once.

When I did my occassional search of recent arrests, I saw the Front St address as an arrest location for a girl. I couldn't place that area as being a spot for SWs. Then I read the Dispatch article.

Well, I don't live in Columbus and have nothing to do with Columbus. I just read this board because it's a very active one, and thus interesting to read. I've long thought that some of you Columbus folks are a bit too relaxed about what you're posting on the internet. And getting involved in that raffle was an extremely stupid move for those who did. Shouldn't it have been obvious that such a raffle would be something police, prosecutors, and the media would be interested in? Just for the novelty of it! Which I don't agree with, btw. I mean, better that people hook up that way than on the streets. Seems a victimless crime (more a victimless crime than picking people up off street corners) as long as everyone's an adult (so I do feel sorry for everyone being arrested). My reading of that article suggests that there was a snitch on that forum. But now that an alleged under-age female is a part of the story...um...not very smart move. Yes, it can be hard to tell the ages of females, which is all the more reason to be extra careful with borderline people.

First of all anybody can make up stories and live a fantasy world online. There are no rules on fictitious stories. I actually think many reports are made up on this board to get some attention and get individuals to feel as being apart of a group. Basic psychology supports that.
Worried about IP address leading somewhere? Just do a google search for "Hide IP Address" OR use your neighbor's wireless connection. I suspect LE is a senior member with accurate postings. (heck they know all the providers)
If you write fictitious reports about a minor as a provider I suspect you'll have LE working over time to bust you or someone visiting this 'fictitious minor'. We have seen it time and time again. They think they have a bust associated with a minor and in the end they don't. It just proves people lie. If LE really wants to get rid of minors walking the street & their pimp. They would of PM'd Sullivant Guy and said. "I am LEO and I want to get her off the streets and her Pimp in jail. " Did they do that? Who knows but this gal has been on the streets for a long time and LE has known about her since the day someone posted info about her. Plus LE hasn't attempted to get her off the streets. (to my knowledge) Instead they just let her walk and try to bust the johns so they can get a 'sexual predator' arrest. I think there are special grants for sexual predators of minors. As this gets more face time in the news, the more copy cat crimes pop up since small time criminals know LE can't fight this crime while sitting outside an adult house sex party with the hopes a minor will show up so they can have a huge press release to make it look like LE is working hard.
If there is one thing I have learned from this forum. If LE wanted to get minors off the streets; they can read this forum and the description of the minor and probably get her off the street and bust her pimp within 24 hours of the post.

IMO, most of the women in the drug and street walking lifestyle are women who are running away from their responsibilities in life and are blocking their families out of their minds while they binge.

Did anyone else see the blonde with the extreme limp today? I saw her two days ago too and I circled and made eye contact but she wouldn't budge from where she was standing. Rule #15 made me laugh out loud. I can't tell you how many times one of these girls got in my car and instantly started adjusting my AC or heater and stereo. In one case, the girlstarted adjusting these things with her bare feet! She had taken her heels off because her feet hurt, and then she put her feet up and started f**king with the stereo and air with her toes.
I think part of it is that they are testing you to see what they can get away with. Like, are you so easy going that they will be in control? I like to be really nice and relaxed and laid back and I am easy-going by nature, but from experience I know that you have to show a new girl that it is your car and you're not gonna let them get away with whatever they want. Because the next thing you know, they'll either rip you off, set you up for some robbery, or get you caught up in some drug possession arrest. And I absolutely will not go where they tell me to go. Yet another time I was ripped off for $20 and found the girl on the street some days later. I got out of my car, ran up to her and grabbed her by the wrist. Honeslty, I think its just the fact that they are usually stuck outside in the weather just walking around. When someone does pick them up its a short break for them to make themselves comfortable and listen to some music before they are dumped back on the street. I have never put any more thought into it than that.

They may be off of Cleveland maybe a 1/2 block in either direction on some of the streets.

Saw what happened with SG and decided it might be a good idea to lower my profile a few notches. Personally I am 100% opposed to any type of activity with a minor, which includes those aged 17. I still help some of the girls out, and talk to some now and again, just not from Columbus. I've been spending most of my time out west. Arizona is a long way away and airfare isn't cheap anymore!! I still log on - on occassion, just not posting! Several users have sent me PM's which I've responded to promptly and will continue to do so, but staying away from public posts for awhile.

Well I am getting a little homesick actually. As much as the Columbus area has seen a decline in quantity of SWs, it is still considerably better than Austin. Even Dayton has better quantity than Austin, believe it or not. The police presence here is ridiculous. I never knew how lucky I had it! Don't worry. Nope, It's not the red light cameras Coleman installed a few years ago. These were just put up a couple of monts ago. The red light cameras take a picture of your plate if you run a red light. These record 24 hours a day. There are no red light cameras on Cleveland Ave.

That's a long way from saying he's been busted, and I doubt that he will be for several reasons.
1. I've read posts by Sullivant Guy from before he was Sullivant Guy, from before he was Broad Street Guy, and before he started posting on RAPS. The one weakness he's always had is that he has a very distinctive writing style. Still, I doubt that one can connect Sullivant Guy with his various aliases simply by saying that the writing styles are similar. They would have to have some proof.
2. If they had any real info. On him, they wouldn't have asked for public assistance. They would have watched his posts, watched his activities, and given him enough room to hang himself. Nope, It's not the red light cameras Coleman installed a few years ago. These were just put up a couple of monts ago. The red light cameras take a picture of your plate if you run a red light. These record 24 hours a day. There are no red light cameras on Cleveland Ave.

How do you figure it won't harm your credit rating? Do you have a source on that? Certainly they send a collection agency after you and they'd probably report your non-payment to a credit bureau. Not sure what all else they can do. Can they boot your car? Suspend your license? I dunno. But I don't see how you're claiming lawyers have told you it's perfectly okay to not pay the debt and it won't damage your credit.

As much as this pains me I am going to have to agree with HoHo on this one. He is correct that you do not have to pay those tickets. They are not sent to the license bureau and although they are signed by a police officer, they have no bearing on your driving record. They will send them to a collection agency but it will not reflect negatively on your credit report if you do not pay the fine. There is absolutely nothing they can do about it if you do not pay! Do not be scammed. If you need proof you can look it up in the city charter.

If I had slammed on the brakes to avoid the light, I would have skidded across the ice, possibly killing your child doing so. Its not as if I was running through red lights without thinking twice.

I think it's very doubtful that nothing would happen if you don't pay the ticket other then an attempt to get a collection agency to collect it. If that were the case, the word would have gotten out quick and NOBODY would pay them. I do remember them saying you don't get any points on your license when you get a ticket. One thing is for sure, you know they will add a penalty if you don't pay it on time. Here is something to consider though;
What is the possibility that they will suspend your drivers license? I know for a fact (Personal Experience) that if you don't pay a regular traffic ticket, they can suspend your license even if you don't pay one from another state. I wouldn't be surprised that they could do the same thing here. The BMV looks for any reason to suspend a person's license because they know they will make a lot of money for a person to get it valid again.
This is just a possibility and I'm just guessing.
I haven't been on this site for awhile and may continue to stay away. The purpose is to discuss the SW scene in Columbus. Lets get back on track.

None of this answers the question of why, if they turn your debts over to a collection agency, the collection agency can't report you to a credit bureau . Collection agencies can do that in general, so why wouldn't they be able to with these debts? (I'd think they can also sue you, though perhaps that's too much bother for such small debts.)
This is my last post on this subject because it's off topic, but it seems to me if there are no possible consequences for ignoring these fines, someone would have written something about that on the internet by now. That cat would be out of the bag. But, hey, I could be wrong.
