OK, I'm going to put the Ashley thing to rest. I checked and she was 18 as of Feb 02 this year.

There is a lot to stop her. Do be so foolish as to the power this guy has over her. Her world right now, is a constant stream of drugs, abuse and threat of violence and BS from this guy. He tells her he loves her one minutes and makes her get into a car with some strange guy the next. If she does not do what he wants, then I am sure he has filled her head with all kinds of scenarios as to what he will do to her or her family. Fear and keeping her doped up is his weapon of choice. 18 is just a number assigned by the government to determine when one is legally an adult. It does not account for maturity, common sense and knowledge of the streets.
While we all try at times to justify what we do and what the girls do, it is far from normal behavior. It is risky and dangerous in many ways. I know it is wrong, but I still do it. It is an addiction and a thrill. And if any guy who does thinks otherwise, then he is in denial.
These girls are not on the streets because they like what they do. If anybody thinks that for a second, then they are totally naive about what this is all about. For the girls, it is all about getting high and feeding that addiction. That is all. They are not out there to buy milk for their babies or to get money for rent or the babysitter. They are out there to get high and it is a powerful thing.
We are out there because it is a thrill to do it and it is easy to get sex, which in itself is an addiction.

I think Sullivant Guy pretty much has it right. These girls don't know anything different. Their perception of what is normal is different from what we think is normal. Ashley has been fooled as to what love is due to her habit. She thinks him giving her a rock is love and anything else that comes with it is the norm.
I put the girls in two different groups. When the girl treats our meetings as strictly business, in the car, do the deed, and out of the car, I don't give it a second thought. Drove around the Broad/Sully loop during rush hour today and pickings were kind of slim. I noticed 1 girl on broad, near martin, but there was a skinny white guy that seemed out of place that was watching her from across the street, so I passed.

A bit paranoid aren't we.... that place is a flop house and part time dope house. Chill out a bit. Keep an eye on the marked cruisers.They are the ones that may mess with you for a traffic infraction or driving around looking suspicious. Ok I work on the northwest side on 2nd shift, I usually take 70 home but I drove around the westside to see what was going on wedesnday night. Man, I knew heroin was back, back DAM. The zombies were out. So after turning down a couple of SW's, I went to my hunting grounds. Did the Livingston/Main loop. Was going to make the return home when I saw a familiar BSW. (Short, kinda heavyset, big tits, light skinned, sunglasses at2 in the morning ok LOL) Yan-E, a variation of her name, was walking up Livingston near wilson, I turned back around. Picked her up and since we know each other, we knew what was going to happen. (Pics and BBBJ, then a CFS all for. 30). She was kinda cool, but started getting on my nerves, but she is a very skilled lady. I even gave her a CIM for free. I have to say, getting the pimps perspective is different. Please tell us how you came to these conclusions. I think about half of what you say is correct but the other half is complete BS especialy your last sentence. As far as acting, it is kind of hard for us to act giving the nature of what we are doing out there and having it come back to bite us in the ass. We are trying to do it in a fashion that will draw less attention to us personally while at the same time protecting our future interests. I really don't want to pick up a girl who had the shit kicked out of her. It kind of ruins the moment, you know? Also, when the girl had the shit kicked out of her, people think we did it and that also draws attention of LE towards us.
First and foremost, we have to keep ourselves safe from the pimps and the girls who will rip us off. One way to do that is to separate the pimp from the girl on the streets. I personally will not pick up a girl walking side by side with her pimp. I don't have four eyes and can't watch everything in every direction on the pick up. I also think it is better if we make the girls feel safe when they get in with us. It makes things less complicated. This is not about getting emotioanally involved. Two points here. First, Brooklyn has to live there, not us. She can't afford for one of us to make the situation worse then go home to our house in the Burbs.

There have been reports of spanish girls if you keep going past Central on Sully, but I've never seen them. So it seems very hit or miss.

Well, I see it like this. If they suddenly lost their crack habit, do you think they would do it because they are addicted to the street? Take away the habit and over 90% would be gone.

I usually agree 100% with what SullivantGuy posts and recognize that he's smart and experienced at this. The only thing I disagree with in his recent posts is his statement that we're the reason girls like Brooklyn are out here and getting beaten by pimps. That's just not the way the domestic violence cycle works. It's the other way around. The fact that many of these girls have been raised in abusive homes and have been programmed at an early age to believe that a relationship with a man involves domestic violence leads them to seek violent partners who then exploit their assets to make money off of them. While it's true that they are on the streets to sell themselves because there is a market for it, I don't believe it follows that they wouldn't be beaten if they weren't on the streets. In fact, I would wager that if you could wave a magic wand and make the SW profession magically disappear, they would be doing something else as or more dangerous in order to keep their man appeased and raise drug money. It just so happens that SWing is easier and seems less risky than looting houses or robbing liquor stores.
My bottom line is that there are no real "rules of the street. " There is only what a person can get away with. Taz beat Brooklyn because he knew he would ultimately get away with it. He knew noone would really report him or, if they did, he would get a short period of "3 hots and a cot. "

Thanks for your thoughts. I am not engaging in any risky behavior. I am confident on the streets and know them. That is not be cocky, anybody can get busted or hurt out there - but I never ever take risks other than the hobby itself. I do feel guilty, but I think it is more of a feeling of why the hell do I do this anymore. Something keeps dragging me out there though and maybe some day I will figure that out. Sex is part of it, and so is the chase, but there is more I am sure.
As for the girls and people in that area of town, I always try to treat others as I would want to be treated. I think the Golden Rule can even apply to this crap.

"slightly" larger than the 640 I'm permitted to use here, and my computer has more space available than NASA and Library of Congress combined, so I've never needed to worry about the amount of space it would take up on my computer. back to brandi though - i got the info from a very reliable source that i trust. it could be wrong. nothing is solid. it is not the same source that told me ashley was under 18. there was also a different set of circumstance regarding ashley that involved her family as well. she also looks like she could be 18 or 19. this brandi does not even look like she is 16.

all i am saying is to be careful and lets get the facts right. that is all. i would rather be safe than get arrested for statutory rape and go to prison. why take the chance at all?
remember the young red head down on sully this past year? another example - i believe that someone checked and she was not in the public records - that was the red head with the freckles. haven't seen her since.

i never posted a pic of megan. i posted a pic of jennifer. i know one from the other. even then people said "jennifer" was under 18 too. go back and look at the posts. i was dead on right and still people were trying to say she was ****.
as for ashley... you said she was under 18 and it was "confirmed". all i am saying is that you were wrong and you seemed to intent on saying she was still under 18. you could of came out and said "hey guys my source was wrong about that and i'm sorry.",but you never did that you still wanted people to think she was not legal.

No one intends to imply you ARE an "idiot". I, too, just found out about Ashley. It's my understanding that she turned 18 while at the workhouse just the other day. That may explain the confusion. Remember-A girl is 17 for 365 days! On the 364th day she's STILL 17! Is my information "confirmed"? No, but I have it from a relatively reliable source. I can only say this source has always been reliable in the past and I have no reason to doubt her now. But still no absolute guarantee! As for the fake ID, when I used to be involved with the Strip Club industry (Thank heavens I'm not anymore with these new Columbus rules! ) I personally know of one person who was arrested for having a girl dancing at the club who was under 18 DESPITE him having a photocopy of her "ID" and "birth certificate" (both fakes) on file!
