I too ran into a similar situation regarding "full service". It was with a girl (oriental) on cleveland.backpage. Her ad sounded interesting and I called her a couple of times to confirm her story. No, it is not a group line where everyone is in the same conversation. Everyone leaves a "greeting"- like an outgoing voicemail message. You press certain buttons to respond with a message back to them. Or, you can simply move on to the next greeting. The other person may or may not respond. If you want, you can arrange a private phone conversation with the other person, within the system. No need to exchange personal phone numbers.
I have been burnt a few times on the chat lines. Most are scams but there have been a few good ones. Sometimes I can tell which ones are scams. So if you have a name, descrip and location I may be able to help.
