I seem to recall my good friend mentioning giving a ride to a very fine young lady around a year ago (give or take) that I think went by that name. My good friend seems to think that something is coming to a head (rimshot) here soon in the Akron area, based on recent observations. He thinks sooner than later one of two very bad things is going to happen to a fellow gentleman, the lesser of the two being getting set up and busted. He says he could be wrong, but to him it seems like there are less random 'freelance', strung-out-looking types and more enticing 'ladies in need' out there. (The former type maybe even being run off?) He even went against sound thinking and offered a ride to one of the latter a short time ago, but that's for another post (as he just gave me sketchy details, although it apparently went well overall).

His theory is that one or more 'influential' types have organized these women, and that the superior quality might be drawing more attention to certain areas, which in turn means that a sting could be coming. Hard to say. But he's also seen an upturn of women walking in pairs, women who may not need assistance on any level, but he's not so sure. One example that caught his eye was witnessing two girls (both white) from a distance walking towards a gas station but stopping in a neighboring parking lot to talk for more than just a couple seconds to someone in an SUV-type vehicle, which had just pulled in, engine still running. They could've been going to just get cigs, but some sort of arrangement was being made, he sensed. He didn't hang around long enough to see if one or both got in, but he got the impression that they were talking to a 'supervisor' type or at least an employer for the evening.

"The scene just seems different this year," my good friend said. He seemed more than a little nervous about it.

Crosier IMHO is the most dangerous street in Akron. Please fellas, I would avoid that area. Those dopeboys run deep and are ruthless. They will rob, assult, and steal from you. White guys in cars are targets there. Never go in a house around that area with a SW. White or Black.

My good friend has noticed a similar situation recently.

Remember, in the last week or so...

--Fourth of July extended weekend, so most likely more 'enforcement'.

--First of the month, i.e. less need for many.

--Summerlike weather makes many gentlemen think the same thing, and I think the demand is always going to exceed the supply here. A couple of his best moments happened in the dead of winter.

--Some 'x factor' is coming into play, he thinks. Either these ladies are being cracked down (and not just cracked out...sorry) much more vigorously this summer by the law...or the lawless. By that, he almost gets the impression that a couple 'father figures' might be running the 'freelancers' off. It's just different this year.

Also, he told me how sometimes when he's sure he saw no ladies in need on a given drive, he then thinks back and has to admit that he really saw at least a couple, but they were either not worth even checking the brakes for, or they were just in a bad spot at the moment and impossible to get back to (in time). But for whatever reason, it's down right now and these things tend to go in waves.

P.S. You've got the Hall of Fame weekend and the golf tournament coming up, so expect a lot more demand from hotel-dwelling visitors to this site.

That area is the heart of the candy store. I would be careful doing too much driving late in the area over near Summit lake, I drive off of south but would be careful to go there too much. She has a real sweet tooth from what a couple of her friends said.

I can understand how that (Popcorn taking the man's car) could have happened. It's happened to me. Basically I got all boozed up, picked up a lady, brought her home, and passed out. You can't enter the building unless a resident buzzes you in. After 9 pm I believe only a police officer can let you in, unless you call a resident in advance. Having fun there with the many available girls there is not what you need to worry about though. It is under watch for drug activity. Stay clean, and you have no worries. Fool with any controlled substances, and you will be taking a big risk entering and exiting the building, especially after 9pm. Police routinely attempt on the spot searches for drugs. The police presence there does ensure you are safe in the hallways, but do not go there unless you know someone there. It's not a place to post names and apartment numbers on here either.

I have to disagree with your disagreement. Cops are becoming out of control. Brutality is rampant. They truly believe the ARE the law. Just look at some of the more high profile cases of cop abuse lately that have been publicized because they were caught on tape. Now multiply that behavior by 100,000 for all of the abuses that were NOT filmed and you'll have a ballpark figure of cop activity in the US on a DAILY basis. We are one or two steps away from being a totalitarian police state.

After an arrest, a police officer can "inventory" everything in the car. They can not open separately locked items. For example you have a briefcase in the trunk with a combination lock on it. They can't break into the briefcase unless you tell them they can or unless you have indicated a gun or bomb is in the case.

Even though some on this board have allowed searches and had no problem, what if a SW drops a crack pipe or some crack crumbs on your seat or floor? Now you are looking at a Felony arrest.

One, I've never met her in person but she looks a lot cuter than I thought she would. And two, What the hell happened to her face! That is one nasty scar, and I may be wrong but I don't remember seeing it in her old JBG pics. Was she in a car accident, a pimp accident or maybe tried to cheat a monger? Just curious if anybody knows, because it really puts a shot of ugly on an otherwise hot face.

I think based on her multiple convictions and her fairly recent facial turn for the worse, the girl can be summed up as "resilient". And by "resilient", I mean desperate. I imagine there's always a buyer that's even more desperate, though.

It is pretty sad, too, because you can kinda see a really skanky version of Scarlett Johansson behind that mess someone made. Never ends well for these girls, does it?

I'd say it looks like the result of a right cross blow, or maybe even a tire iron. Ouch! Whats sad is she evidently didn't seek medical help. Her nose could have been realigned and taped in place in the ER before it had a chance to settle in that position. If she finds her way to the free clinic at St. Thomas, she can be helped.

I've got a little horror story for you guys, which hopefully will keep you vigilant while out and about.

So I jumped in my car one evening recently to see if what you guys talk about really is true. It took me two hours to figure out who the sw's were (sorry, I'm new to this topic). And I did indeed find them. I drove past a couple of young ones who were walking together and one looked rather attractive.

I had no intention of letting either in my car. But I wanted to see if they'd actually walk toward me if I pulled over. Sure enough, the moment I pulled onto a side street they were immediately making their way to me. But unfortunately, there was also an angry looking gentleman who popped out of his house across the street, got into his car and immediately pulled out and began to follow me as I drove away.

Now mind you I never spoke to these women. I made no effort to pick them up. I was just curious if these were indeed the kinds of girls I've been reading about here. I committed no crime and was simply curious about the slightly seedier side of things that go on just a few miles from my home.

This angry guy in a car proceeded to follow me up Arlington, to the highway and for several miles on the highway. He finally broke off when I pulled in behind a sheriff and matched his speed.

Jesus. I was freaked out. I could have gotten my ass kicked or worse for merely being curious and wanting to get a look at something I'd never seen before.

Frankly, I'm telling this story because I don't want this to happen to anyone else, regardless of the reason or the legality of their actions. I can sympathize with homeowners who don't want this sort of activity going on in front of their homes. Which is one reason why I feel that licensed and screened, legal hookers who work out of a specific location is the best thing that could happen for all involved.

But I didn't deserve to be chased and stalked for simply wanting to take a look at two women walking down a street. Be careful. Some of these locals are willing to take the law into their own hands.

There are a number of reasons why this may have happened. It happens in Cleveland on the inner west side and I kinda applaud the vigilante. The people that live in these neighborhoods have to deal with a multitude of shit from dope boys and thugs and are sick of it. Even if the girls are off the streets the dealers will still be selling regardless. Know that you are lucky and this, as much as you may fantasize, is not a game. If you are not mongering I'd suggest you stay the hell away from the action for your own good. Sometimes the thrill of the pursuit or voyeurism of it all can be more of a rush than "dating" so I understand the curiosity. Either way be safe for your sake and the sake of the ladies working.

She was shot on the face, a year or more ago after a fight over her candy and money.

I saw two WSW on arlington this evening, on my way to a job I passed by a dark haired WSW wearing very dirty sweatpants sitting on the steps of hill's temple. Then on my way back I saw a blonde dressed much better at the exact same spot wearing a denim skirt and a nice blue shirt showing off the puppies. Didn't have time to stop.

It happened on Arlington, roughly a mile and a half north of Waterloo, a mile south of the I-76 on ramp. I unfortunately don't know the name of the cross street. I was too intimidated to even be looking at street names.

Drove her around, she was very wary, just got out of jail on June 18, said she knew the guy who busted her before but still let herself get busted, drugs impair judgement I suppose
