Yeah, as Lucky said below things have definitely dried up. 1245 used to be good for backroom action. The new bartender keeps better tabs, although LT is more chill when he works over there. Lots more pretty girls than normal. But, no extras happening at all. Amanda is sexy and hot. But nothing doing. She talks a great game, but other than a couple of brief stick shifts, it's all legal.
I haven't been to Jen's during the day lately. The new night guy Chris who watches VIP is a prick. He watches closely and pisses the girls off, none of them like him. Funny thing is, he evidently begs many of them to go out with him. And they don't care for him at all. Guess he's got a temper about it, and screws them on tipout saying they didn't pay enough and stops them on any extra activities. I was in the midst of some fun with a curvy brunette in the early evening and he came roaring into the room screaming at us. Nothing makes you go limp more quickly than that.
Also, nothing good happening at Dreamer girls. I saw one decent girl with potential a few weeks ago. Haven't seen her since, the rest are scary. Haven't been in Glory days. Sounds like this Heather might be worth a visit?

I started out in 2001. 10 years now, off and on. It's amazing how time flies.
Just to add to the other reports about strip clubs, yes, it's looking rough out there. After thinking that I'd never go back, I tried a visit last week.
Georgie's girls have gotten really uptight. Tried a girl "Noel" (or however it's spelled). NO personality, wouldn't smile, just a bland tease. The next girl I got a dance from made fun of her attitude, so I know it wasn't just me. Tried one other, and it was nothing to write home about either. The last one pushed for the 25 (!) dollar VIP, but she wouldn't tell what that involved, and the girls were nothing special, so I bailed.
Went to Dreamer's; wasted money on "Tracy", the bartender. Awesome boobs, zero personality. Gave a shitty air dance. I stayed there hoping for someone to fall out the sky, no dice. Just like Noel at Georgie's, I know Tracy was like that with everyone, as I watched her give a lame dance to some other guy.
Final stop was Bottom's Up; most of the dancers have are past their expiration date. Pretty sad scene. Paid the ridiculous 10 dollar cover, stayed a few minutes, and then went home.
Really anchient history. Rhonda, Cherry, Ruthie, Denise, Susie. Oh my, can't believe I even remember those few.

Stopped in for a quick drink last night and I was pleasantly surprised. They had at least 4 that I would rate 7. 5 or better and they were all very hands on in there dances. The parking lot was packed when I got there which is very unusual. I'm going to have to check this out again soon. Didn't seem like much going on any where else though.

One of the first places I ever hit was Chasers by the Akron airport. It was a little bit gangster sometimes and the girls must have had a revolving door. One stayed in touch with me on America Online so that dates things, eh? I've been by 6 times in the past 4 months and each time was worst then the rest and with the public shenanigans going on, I'd hate to be their when a sting goes down. 3-Don't let anyone put false time constraints on you: "If I don't get this money in 5 minutes, I'll get fired for not paying my tip out!" Then it turned into more money; if she didn't produce it then and there, she was still going to get fired since a customer supposedly left her holding a tab. Looking back, her pushing with the bogus time constraints got me more than anything else.
4-To be more aware, suspicious, and demanding. And.
5, 6.7, & 8-NEVER pay in advance!
She's a young, thin brunette, probably 21, has a tattoo on the back of her left shoulder, and wears glasses out of the club. She dashed with a blonde guy who was driving the biggest piece of shit car on Earth. It honestly looks like it was set on fire.
The Iconoclas was right; Jen's is just bad fucking news, and I'll never set foot in there again.

I still can't believe I feel for her scam. She put all sorts of pressure on me, saying that she needed the money upfront, or the owner was going to fire her for not making her tip-out. ("If you don't front me, I'll get fired!) She completely badmouthed him, saying he was the biggest asshole on the planet (I didn't even who he was) , and I fell for it.
Angela tried to scam me once needed 50 bucks- gave to her after the wind blew thru the house. Kinda like a dream. Now for the babes! Any new info on the gals at Old Glory Days? As you can see I don't post on these sites but I wanted to gossip for once. I've been going to Jen's for two years about 3 times a month and just loved the gossip and drama going on with these girls and I'd buy them a drink and they would tell me all the crap going on.
I was there the other day talking to some of the "gals" and this is what I found out.
First thing, I think Kin. Did get scammed by the same Angela that got arrested posted earlier (BTW she was arrested in Jen Den parking lot.)
Second. Jenny is back to dancing and was only in jail for a couple days (Jenny herself told me she got into a fight with her uncle that lived with her and her mom and the sheriff took her away for Domestic Violence ). Talking to another gal I found out Jenny now has a new BF and he was their sitting by the door when I was there (skinny dude with a buzz cut haircut ). Gossip is he's got Jenny back on some harder drugs (she was just a weed head) which probably explains the extra activities everyone's talking about here.
My days here are done as well. It's not just the over-priced drinks or the drugs but if these girls hustle some poor S. O. B. That doesn't know that this is all just a game, I'm afraid the right wacko would come back and shoot up the place.

You might want to try that approach since no one has volunteered an answer to your question for a couple weeks. Just an idea.

Honestly, you've posted a million times on here asking about dancers. If you have been doing this at all for any time you should know how it works with them. Which is it all "depends". Depends on the dancer, the day of the week, how far behind she is on rent, the guy, etc. If they were esco rts / SW's they would be working as such. Some dancers never do extras, but many of them do. Sometimes. It just "depends". If you find one you like, you are best off going in a couple of times, striking up some rapport, then just flat out asking. They get asked all the time so they won't be offended. They will either say no, or if the moons align. Yeah.

Honestly, you've posted a million times on here asking about dancers. If you have been doing this at all for any time you should know how it works with them. Which is it all "depends". Depends on the dancer, the day of the week, how far behind she is on rent, the guy, etc. If they were esco rts / SW's they would be working as such. Some dancers never do extras, but many of them do. Sometimes. It just "depends". If you find one you like, you are best off going in a couple of times, striking up some rapport, then just flat out asking. They get asked all the time so they won't be offended. They will either say no, or if the moons align. Yeah.

Went to Gatsby's in Akron late Saturday night; saw a petite little blond who looked cute enough, so I asked her for a dance.
She made me wait (which I really hate) as she fucked around talking to the bouncers and paraded around the bar.
She finally came over and asked if I wanted a VIP. The VIP is a complete rip-off there; nothing happens, it's a well lit area and anybody can see anything, so I told her that I'd be happy with a floor dance.
"Will you pay 10 dollars?"
I looked at her like she was crazy.
"Why would I pay 10 dollars for a floor dance?"
"Well, I'm leaving in a few minutes, and I need."
This sounded similar to the scam that Angela ran on me at Jen's, so I stopped her right there.
"Do you dance outside the bar?"
"Uh. Yeah! I'm very selective, blah blah blah."
This is what Zauber suggested in a private message:
"Great! Let's go right now, then."
"Uh. Well, I really can't do it tonight."
"Why not? You said you're leaving in a few minutes anyway."
"How about I give you a VIP tonight, and if you do, we'll meet up tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow's Sunday, which is bad for me. It's also a holiday weekend. I already have plans."
Now she has the deer in the headlight look. She obviously had no plans of hooking up outside the bar Sunday; she just wanted to get at least one VIP out of me before she left.
She starts to walk away, and then she whirls back and says "I was just kidding, I don't dance outside of the bar anyway. I was just saying that."
I give her a "no shit" response, and she's on her way.
I stayed a few minutes later, and noticed that she moved all over the bar trying to find a sucker. She talked one guy into a few table dances, they were lame air dances. Whatever he paid was too much. Four bouncers were in the area, which couldn't have helped, but he wouldn't have gotten anything anyway.
Another scammer. If you want out of the club fun, put them on the spot, *especially* if they are leaving soon. If they balk, then it's a good bet they just talk about outside hookups to get you to spend more in the club.
BUT, I know other dudes recommend being a regular, and let the girls get to know you first. This one I met was obviously full of shit: "buy a VIP tonight, get outside action tomorrow".
And Angela at Jen's left with me the first and only time I interacted with her, and she fleeced me, so what do I know?

Yep, saw the Beacon article today (7-6-11) about the ex-dancer from Old Glory Days. Was there when she was thrown out. She has a previous assalt charge from a month or so ago and now specifically of attempted murder and felonious assalt after stabbing a man once and a woman twice. Stopped out at Gatsbys and Playpen after work yesterday, the Playpen seems to have gotten a handful of girls from Jens. They are still doing some work on the club and plan on darkening out the windows that let in too much light. The club is split into two sections, the bar area and a large seating area with a dance pole on what used to be a stage for bands. I noticed that they have VIP dancing in both sections of the club. Having two seperate VIP area's and two seperate parts of the club will make it hard for the bouncers to keep an eye on the girls 'quality' of dances, both VIP and $5. Its got some potential if they can draw some of the better talent from Jens. Ran across the road to Gatsbys and it was guy city with maybe 2 girls dancing. Later in the evening when I stopped back there was a few cute girls dancing. The next few months will be interesting. If they get some good looking bartenders and a dozen good looking girls Playpen will give Gatsbys a run for their money. I've been in Gatsbys where there's 40 guys to 3 girls dancing and the owner is on the phone trying to get girls to come into work. Won't take long for those guys to go across the street and check out the new club.

Have been stopping in Dreamers on South Street a few times, trying to develop some talent. Potential there with a relatively private VIP. Occasionally a dancer worth a dance, get a bit bolder the more times you visit.
Was out Wednesday night, decided to stop in there. Was shocked to see about 25 cars in the parking lot (usually 2 or 3.) Walked into a full blown hip hop club with a DJ, and a handful of hot black dancers. I was clearly out of place, but everyone was cool. Hung out for a beer to take in the scene, but definitely not the same place it was 3 weeks ago. Didn't get any dances.
What changed here. New ownership? Or, is Wed night hip hop night here? Definitely not the same blue collar / biker crowd I've encountered in the past.
Stopped down to Lusty Adventures. A couple of cuties from Glory Days. But, def no extras in VIP.
I did alot of strip club hopping earlier starting around 6pm today.
1st stop the Playpen. A total waste of time, the place was dead. 2 strippers and neither one was worth buying a dance from so I moved to my 2nd stop, Gatsbys. Gatsby's was busy, lots of customers and maybe 6-8 strippers but they seemed to be hanging out with regulars that they knew. That seems to be the modus operandi there.
3rd stop, Dreamers. 5 strippers, none that were hot and the bartender who also dances. I was approached by 2 of the strippers but didn't buy dances from them. I did however buy a dance from the bartender. Nothing special, she only allowed hands on ass and back, the goodies were off limits.
4th stop, Jen's. Semi busy with customers and maybe 8-10 strippers, none that I'd rate highly. I bought a dance from a spinner type but the dance sucked so off to my 5th stop, Georgies. 4 strippers, none worth checking out so I left after one drink.
Drove past Cutie Pies. 2 cars in the lot so I hit my last stop.
Stop #6, 1245. Around 8 strippers, a couple looked ok. The bar had alot of customers about half of which were thugs. I bought dances from one of the strippers and she gave a good grind and allowed some roaming but overall it wasn't anything special.
Based on those visits I honestly can't recommend any of them although anyone that does the clubs knows that things can vary from day to day. I've had better luck at some of those clubs in the past.
One question. I thought XTC was closed but when I drove by it appeared like it might be open. Does anyone know if XTC is open for business and if so what time do they open? Any other XTC intel that you can provide?

Feeling stupid so I stopped in to Flashdance on Friday afternoon. Four dancers, none bad, no other customers. Bartender asked what drink I wanted and gave her a $20, get back $7, WTF? Yeah she says, $10 cover and $3 drink (a CAN of soda pop, not even a glass). So I scope out the girls and get asked right away for "VIP". How much?. "$15 to $20 a song". Well WTF, is it 15 or 20? Opted for floor dance, lame at that. So there you go, go to Flashdance and get two VIP's and you just dropped $43 minimum. My question is, how does this place stay open? I never see to many cars there.
The largest expense for any non-manufacturing company is payroll. In a strip club most of the people working there pay the club. If you are open noon to 1 or 2 AM you need a bar tender 14-15 hours a day assuming that they come in a little early and stay a little after close. Maybe a bouncer in the evening or weekends. If these two make $10 an hour you have $200-$220 a day in payroll. If you have 10 dancers spread out over the day and they pay $15 tip outs plus $10 covers from 40 customers that equals $550 plus your $10 cut from every VIP dance, say 20 a day even. That's a profit of $500 a day (minus the cost of a drinks at about 30 cents a can). That's 3 grand a week if your open 6 days. That should cover rent and the light bill at a hole in the wall bar. I'm thinking this is very conservitive to reflect the summer and this economy. If you serve over priced beer instead of a cover charge for a juice bar your profit would be greater I assume.

At that time the dancers were not paying the clubs yet. We were still paying by the shift to the girls. I know better then to fall asleep, as soon as the deed was done I jumped in & out of the shower and we went to the bar.
The whole evening cost was 140 + 20 tip (just to shut her up) leftover taco salad, a mt dew. 2 Sex on the Beaches and a box of Newports.

I met Angela and got a few dances and VIPs nothing special. I asked her about OTC stuff and she said yes and we talked some details but I was unsure about taking the plunge right then and there, and she gave me her number. Then she said she was going for a smoke and would come back to see what I wanted to do. So I went to the bathroom when I came out and sat back down she was heading to the door with her stuff and going home. Was just wondering if I did something wrong or scared her? I don't usually do OTC. I am from the east coast and most of the action I have had from strip clubs has been in the club. If it did take place OTC it was after a few times in the club and it was no big drama or anything because the girl and I knew each other. Thinking about it maybe I asked to many questions and she thought I was a cop or something. I just wanted to know what I was getting into as far as price and stuff. Hope I didn't fuck this up she has a nice body and I love petite girls. I am not new to hobbying just this board. Back east we use BestGFE Forum, its pretty active in the PA, NJ, NY area. The Ohio thread there however is not that active. Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Drove by the old XTC today, and all of the old signage has been covered up with red signage promoting "Vortex". The long version is "Vortex Music Center" or something or other, but it's definitely not a dancer bar, and it's opening in the Fall.
It made me a little sad. XTC was the first Akron bar that I hit up back in 2000, and I had some great times there. I never did get Out of the Club action, nor extras, but I did get some sleazy tables dances from Paris (I asked about her a while ago) back in 2000. I had some high mileage dances in the back from various girls, and I loved the set-up and atmosphere of the place. It was pricey, though. 10 dollar cover sucked, and 20 dollars per VIP song was steep, especially since the DJ played short songs, and then cut the songs short on top of that. The dried-out free pizza was boss, though.
Toward the end, I went less and less, because the quality of the girls declined, and I was able to get sleazy dances elsewhere for 5 bucks, while XTC wanted 20 (the quality of the table dances at other bars were equal to XTC's VIP dances).
Odd thing is, I've never seen any of the XTC dancers anywhere else since the bar shut down.
Across the street, Dreamers (remember when that place was a good option?) was closed at 5:30, and I won't set foot in Jen's Drug Emporium, so the strip club scene looks worse every day.
Over the last month, I tried every bar in Akron, and I simply don't see many hot chicks at all. I think they all left Akron for greener pastures.

Little head got the better part of me and I took Jenny from Jen's home tonight. I fed her some taco-salad and a Mt Dew while she was talking about all the drama in her life. OK time. The largest expense for any non-manufacturing company is payroll. In a strip club most of the people working there pay the club. If you are open noon to 1 or 2 AM you need a bar tender 14-15 hours a day assuming that they come in a little early and stay a little after close. Maybe a bouncer in the evening or weekends. If these two make $10 an hour you have $200-$220 a day in payroll. If you have 10 dancers spread out over the day and they pay $15 tip outs plus $10 covers from 40 customers that equals $550 plus your $10 cut from every VIP dance, say 20 a day even. That's a profit of $500 a day (minus the cost of a drinks at about 30 cents a can). That's 3 grand a week if your open 6 days. That should cover rent and the light bill at a hole in the wall bar. I'm thinking this is very conservitive to reflect the summer and this economy. If you serve over priced beer instead of a cover charge for a juice bar your profit would be greater I assume.

As far as the rest of the stripper "scene" is concerned, I haven't had much luck. I'll keep it real brief:
Dreamers: Appears to be closed. Drive by a few times over the last few weeks, and while the neon sign is always on, there is never a single car in the parking lot at night. I had exactly one good time there, and that was when the infamous Autumn was "dancing" there. Which nicely leads to.
Gatsby's in Akron: Saw Autumn there. I first met her at Georgie's, where I feel asleep at the bar and dreamed that she jacked me off in the VIP room one time. She was frisky the one time I saw her at Dreamers. She was making the rounds at Gatsby's, but there is no way in the world she could do anything special there, as the bouncers watch everything that happens. If you sneeze, either the 532 people who sit at the bar all day, or one of the four bouncers will see it. So I saw a few dudes get dances from her; they clearly didn't know who she was, which I thought was a bit funny. I really, really, hate Gatsby's, and I hope I'm never so bored to try that bar again.
Old Glory Daze: Got a dance from Danielle, she's got a nice body but not great face, more importantly, her dances are tame. She made it clear that they are weak in the VIP, too. Adios! Stopped in at the Playpen this past weekend. New place by Rolling Acres Mall. Enjoyed my time, mostly with Capricorn. I was in the Club two weeks ago. It opens Tuesday-Sunday at 8pm. The dancers request that they close early on slow nights so that they can go to Jens. Dancers start asking around 10pm. There was a 7 and a possible 8 (did not get a close look) mostly 4s. 5s, and 6s. These girls like to party and if you are there it is a lot of fun. They changed to a Jens bartender which was an upgrade to the Asian guy.

I made the rounds Friday evening (Lusty's, OGD, Playpen and Gatsby's) , and can report that I was surprised there isn't more chatter about Gatsby's (near the ghost mall) than I've previously seen on here; in my estimation, it has the best set of dancers in any Akron club that I've seen. I had never been to the southeast Akron clubs, and decided to check them out. I started at Playpen, which was basically empty at 5:00 (a single dancer and 6 of her male friends) ; the bartender, who was just working her second day on the job, said the cops raided the place the previous night; they were looking for drugs, and although they didn't find any, they did apparently have a dancer offer a BJ for $60 (a proposition that landed her in the clink) ; the bartender said Gatsby's was raided as well last Thursday, but didn't know about any arrests. I ran across the street to Gatsby's and got a half dozen table dances from a tall blonde (name?) , and a very skinny brunette (name?) , before settling into the VIP with Renee (short blond hair, very nice falsies, fantastic personality). Gatsby's has a bartender with a killer body who was wearing a tiny bikini (nice touch) ; and there were 3-4 other girls that I didn't get a chance to meet (but would have liked to, time permitting) ; no riff-raff, just nice looking, pleasant girls; no extras likely, but so what? ; I will return to this place soon, and likely often.

I had a little time to kill Tuesday in the area so stopped at Jens Den. Parking lot was about half full, expected for a Tuesday. Kind of nice to not deal with the drama that place has on the weekends. It was also quite early about 9:30. There were 12-15 dancers and maybe 20-25 patrons. I had 1 drink and was approached by a young AA dancer who went by Mocha. She was pretty decent looking, especially for SC standards and was fairly articulate. Tuesday about 10pm. I stopped in for a quick drink and had 1 beer. Approached by 'Mocha' and declined a dance (she is a bit heavy for my tastes but not ridiculously so) but she actually was pretty decent convo at the bar. Knew about the voting issues and also the scandal at Penn State. Kind of a nice surprise there. Less that 30 seconds after she walked away 'Carmel' (do these girls all name themselves after food or drinks now?) approached and while I was not really attracted, her fingers convinced me to get two songs at the bar. She gave a very very good grind at the bar working to get in the best position possible. Large, soft breasts and a decent firmness to the butt. No discouragement to my roamings at all and some nice dirty talk. I did notice a few times her aroma which made it easy to turn down offers to a private.

Thanks in advance.My consistent experience with BU is that you will get minimal 'extras' there. It is possible that other have much better game and luck than I do. I have been told by just about every dancer that there are active camera's upstairs and they are quite visible across from each private booth. I don't know if they are actively recording or not. Downstairs is the typical $5 bar / table dance and upstairs they will get get nude and as always YMMV. I believe upstairs is $40 for 3 songs, and anywhere from allowing breast and ass play to nothing allowed but usually a good grind by them. I find that the girls on average look a little better than on Brittain road but there won't be more that 4-6 dancers most of the time so it can be hit or miss. I think early in the day there may be no cover?
Sorry no specifics on girls currently dancing there as I have not been there much this summer / fall.

It's no joke. Cameras and mics are all over the joint, even on the ground floor. Every move you make in the upstairs "VIP" is watched.
I was upstairs in the VIP about a year ago, grabbing a girl's boob when I heard "GENTLEMEN, HANDS TO YOUR SIDES" booming from a speaker upstairs. Naturally, it was a buzzkill. The girl didn't care, but whoever was watching me sure did. So yeah. You can absolutely forget about extras inside the club.
The quality of girls is lacking, too. Back when I didn't appreciate the other options in Akron (a few years ago) , I popped in twice a month, and the same girls are there to this day (I stopped in twice over the summer when the other clubs were slow) They have all aged and gained weight. It was shocking to see how most let themselves go in such a short amount of time. There was a young, hot girl once (Madison) that lasted maybe a few months. All the old washed up girls hated on her. Hot girls are rare in Akron, and at BU, they are as common as gold at the end of a rainbow. LOL.
A while back I mentioned Sasha, a petite dancer who I really liked. It seems she left, too. She gave an awesome table dance, which was well worth the 5 bucks. She was cool, but after having extra fun in other bars, as well as take out dreams, BU is pretty fucking lame to be perfectly honest about it.

Some notes from last couple of weeks.
Club 1245: I still dig the vibe of this place much better than Jen's, to the point where I almost hate to talk about it on here. Same as anywhere else I suppose can get a little rough after 11-11:30pm. But. Seems like girls are on average a little more friendly and I've had some luck with take out recently.
Desiree. Falls: Stopped in here one night because it was convenient and was pleasantly surprised. They cut down walls to the VIP room and are still pretty much hands limited, but they did have a couple cute younger (under 25) thin girls in there. Had a decent time, just not as hands on as it used to be.
Late Night: Still dig seeing Roy but the crew here is always a half step below standards. Seems like same as BU, girls get older they go maybe here or there. It's pretty casual and less BS than other places in some ways, although he is also limiting some of the semi-private dance options.

Had the opportunity to go out for a change, have not been out in a while. Stopped in Centerfolds on Archwood, have had good luck in the past. There were about six girls dancing, I had about a beer and a half before anyone even ask if I would like a dance, they were all busy playing video games and bs-ing with each other. Once they did come closer I was glad that they didn't come around for a while, nothing to write home about and dances were lame. Finished my beer and went home, try somewhere else next time. Don't waste your time there!

Good Luck.Well I managed to get lost looking for jens, hot laps didn't have dancers starting till 8 so I went back too bu and had a very nice time there. Great lap dances. Wish they were that good in columbus. Basketball game was good, detroit was depleted with only 8 players and it showed down the stretch. Haven't heard how the soccer game ended yet, I saw them last year at ohio state and it was a fun wild crowd. Doesn't quite match a michigan hockey crowd (nothing does) but it was a great crowd that was there. Mt. Union won as usual but they had a tough game. Game was much closer then the final score. I will be back up too akron in a couple months for the ohio game hopefully I won't get lost again.
