While the number of clubs in this area have decreased, the rules seemed to have been laxed I've observed this in Newport News and Virginia Beach, and not limited to, but more so in the black clubs. I guess the cops have gotten smart again and would rather have the girls in the clubs doing this, than on the streets; I know thats the way they were with the old Platinum Club in Ocean View back in the day.
Some of the girls also do "private dances" outside the club for a price. While it's more than u find on the street, it's less than on craigs list, and you get to see what you are getting first.
The only club I'd caution about is Cheeta's on Diamond Springs. There have been several sting operations in the past, as it appears they don't like the management there. In the past they've also been know to plant a girl in the parking lot, and observe from unmarked cars across the street, or in the motel beside it.
The Flame 2 closed on Lynnhaven in VA Beach just as it was getting very good. They made some type of arrangement to merge with Majic City in Newport News. Now that place has the best girls around.
The manager is pretty tight, so it's on the up and up, but there are a lot of girls, and most are hotties. It's not just a black club like before either.
They have added a chef and have some pretty good food and a wide variety.
This place has a lot of potential and could rival a club in a big city if they continue to head in the right direction.

Just did a perusing of my locator service (StripClubList.com) and found the place. It is shown as being in Chesapeake and closed, obviously it is incorrect.

Took a drive out Headlights 'Gallery of Girls' on GW hiway last night and was pleasantly surprised. The club is one of the nicest I have been to in Virginia. Very clean and new feeling inside. Had to go thru a metal detector at the door. That was a interesting twist I've never done outside of an airport! The ladies. All very good looking and they do go completely topless. No pasties. Talked to one of the doormen for a couple of minutes and he told me that the owner took the liquor commission to court about the unconstitutionality of not allowing nudity where liquor is served and that has something to do with why the ladies are allowed to go topless. Certainly made the night more interesting for me! They do have a private room where you can get a dance for (ouch) 20 bucks a songs so I did one for the team. No touching, no extras, just sit back and watch. Money would have been better spend at Hot Seat!
If you want to get drunk and watch some fine tits, I would highly recommend checking out Headlights.

She works 12-5 and said the place is always dead from noon until about 3. The backroom has a dozen or so booth style seats in an all open area. She will allow touching for extra as long as there is only one or two other dances going on, and will only give HJ when no one else is in the back.
Go in early in the afternoon during the week and I assure you that you'll confirm what I wrote.

Headlights. Six girls dancing topless. Beers on tap. Good crowd. Sexy dance moves. This was more what I was looking for. Tossed dollars on the stage until I was out, and then bailed. Good time, if you're into no-touching strip clubs.
Drove to all the supposed hotspots for SW action and saw nothing. So much for Monday.

Stopped by for a beer the other night. There are some cuties there, most are typical low budget strippers though. It is still a nice little place and the dancers are pretty fun. They're physically connected, though you can't take a drink from one to the other. However, admission buys entry to both and alcohol can be purchased on either side. The drink price is only $3 for beer. One side has topless dancers, the other only in bikini, but it's the same ladies and they are friendly and entertaining on both stages. If you want a really good time, hit up Majestical City (Magic City) in Portsmouth. If you go to the "lap dance" room at the right time and get the right lady, you will come out "happy." The more important factor is the right time-don't go too early and don't go too late (which is worse than going earlier). If all goes well, you may have to purchase a new clothing (at least get them cleaned).

I went to pure diamonds last Friday at around 2:00 PM, apparently they started opening at noon but they didn't tell any the dancers because the only people there were me, the bartender and two Jamaican ladies who I can only guess were the owners / managers. Just throwing a heads up. From doing intel research, meet and greets, etc. I can say that Headlight Granby is where a huge amount of SA girls work. Guess it shouldn't really be a surprise. So the spouse was out of town so I decided to swing by the Hot Seat for some fun. Used to go there a lot before getting hitched and always had some good times. I heard of VIP being $20-50 at the stage dance clubs but the lapdance only clubs have always been $10-15. If they went up, it better be full hands because they use to be no touching.
FYI the VIPs at the stage dance clubs are on camera so are not private. I heard of camera blind spots and tips to get bouncers to ignore cameras but they are more rare situations.Not sure there are any lapdance only clubs left; or at least that I know of. Hot seat was the only one I knew after lappers became krystal cabaret. As you said, 10-15 but short songs. The stage clubs others seem to be $40 per song but I have never had a issue with touching.

Drove past today and it looks like it the paint has been redone and there were cars parked directly in front. Doubt they were over at Getaway, as there were plenty of open spots closer.
Would love it if it was open again. Had some luck there, and some amazing lapdances from some hotties!

I had a lot of luck right after the strip clubs opened back up from Covid. Girls needed money. Over the course of a year, I had 1 take out and pulled 4 sugar babies.
The beautiful thing about strip club SB is their friends / coworkers are watching. They see the money you're spending on her and the benefits she's getting. As soon as things stop working out with one, another one is on deck ready to go. I literally dumped one SB and pulled a new one the same night. Right after Covid reopening, I pulled take out and 1 SB that lasted about 2 months from the same club. Then it dried up. A month later, In another club, I had to work hard for the first SB, but the next 2 came easy. But, that was about a year ago. Not much luck since.
I've also found that stripper SB are more expensive. But, you've seen the goods so you know what you're getting. Smoking hot girls that don't have a lot of rules.
I'm glad our situation with Covid isn't the same as it was 2 years ago, but I miss the drought of money it created for them, which created many opportunities for us.

Having worked security at few of these places over the years, I would be very hesitant messing with most of these girls. Not because of STD / STI but they usually have "boyfriends" that most probably don't want to deal with, a lot of dudes from my MC roll with a lot of these girls. Granted, most of these dudes are married and these girls are side pieces. Another thing, a lot of these girls are users, I found more brown dope and needles in the dressing room than you would believe. I personally don't roll with that monkey. Nut to each their own.

I was there last weekend and the main reason I went to hot seat is that one if the girls from headlights texted me saying that's where everyone heads to afterhours. Didn't get a dance from there and tbh it was pretty boring.
Has the place been remodeled or become more private? What's the current rule? Full touch and play? Lap dances are fair value at 20-25 a song full touching but honestly only 10-15 with escorts doing 100-120 QVs outside clubs. Might justify paying more for super hottie doing dance but all teases.

Closed down for a while and I am pretty sure under new ownership. Like you said, I think they just want the after hours crowd as there are other clubs open 7 days a week. Probably easier when you are dealing with the same dancers plus you get 50% off every dance.
Hit up headlights in Chesapeake for the first time in forever. Was not a bad experience and over half the girls were pretty hot but it's bikini only and dances are about 30-40 a song which is outrageous.
