Same thing happened to me with Mandy. Quite frankly I only contacted her because I was desperate. I was hoping her services would be better than her looks at the price she charges. Things are really dry right now. Leila has moved, Kim in Lakeside is not returning calls and Zebrina appears to be out of commission. I think this is a fraud. First of all, I certainly didn't see this on CL, and I've been on it quite a lot the last few days. I also don't remember our "Stephanie" on there last December...I think I would remember her. I'm interested in comments from other members.
I agree, I think this is a fraud, since a lot of the members in here know her personally, and Richmond Guy is right Stephanie came to richmond this year and worked at local strip club, and started in CL about 2 months ago!

I agree it's almost certainly a fraud but not because of when the posts appeared. If the facts were true - your wife found out you got HIV from an escort advertising on C/L, why would she post anything here and more importantly, why would she ask us for legal advice? Really now. We're posting here for one reason and it has nothing to do with offering each other substantive legal advice. We may discuss a strategy or two for not becoming bait for a sting operation but that's hardly legal advice.
Now can you get HIV from unprotected sex and what are the odds? It at least appears possible but I don't know the odds. I can't say I've never taken a risk but I don't push it. If I see Stephanie, and I've tried but I have not been successful, I'd sure keep my meat wrapped and I understand she does make that optional (and it would be a real temptation!).

I've lurked on this board for a long while and I figured it was time to give back. Today I spent some time with Serenity based in large part by the reviews I saw on this board. A red flag went up when she told me over the phone to bring protection but despite my reservations I still went up and met her. I'm sure glad I did. That goes both ways. She allows 30 minutes between appointments. She called me to push mine back 30 minutes because she was trying to accommodate the person before me. That person was late according her and I was on time not a minute early or a minute late. The person after me was early as well.
It boils down to I was the one that was who was subject to the inconvenience as the person before me was late (was that you in the blue & white clown car?) and the guy after me was early.

A Colonial Heights woman is accused of operating an Internet-based prostitution service that arranged sexual encounters with customers at Chesterfield County motels.
Amy D. Lamb, 34, of the 200 block of Piedmont Avenue was arrested last week and charged with prostitution, money laundering, receiving money from the earnings of a prostitute and receiving money for the procurement of a prostitute. All the charges stemmed from an incident that occurred Aug. 29, Chesterfield police said.
She is the second person arrested in Chesterfield this year on charges related to Internet-based escort businesses that provide women for prostitution and other erotic services.
In the more recent case, clients seeking sexual favors would go to a Web site -- which police declined to name yesterday -- where Lamb would arrange for them to meet a woman at a Chesterfield motel, said Chesterfield police Capt. Lorrie Smith.
A county police detective posed as a customer and arranged through Lamb to meet one of the service's women. Lamb was then arrested at the agreed-upon location, Smith said.
"It's basically the same as regular prostitution," Smith said.
The case is similar to, but not related to, another case police made in January against a 51-year-old Chesterfield man.
In that case, William H. Snyder pleaded guilty last month to charges related to an Internet prostitution ring he operated from an escort-service Web site.
According to evidence, Snyder set up the Web site where customers could make appointments with women and receive various erotic services, such as massages, private dances, stripper sessions and overnight and weekend dates.
After being contacted by a client, Snyder would arrange for them to meet a woman at one of several motels along Jefferson Davis Highway near Willis Road.
Snyder would wait in the parking lot while the women were in the motel, and they would call him from their rooms to confirm payment and their safety. Afterward, they would meet him in the lot and give him a portion of their earnings, usually 15 percent to 25 percent, according to a summary of evidence at his trial.
Snyder faces up to 50 years in prison and $600,000 in fines when he is sentenced Dec. 1.
Lamb is scheduled to appear Nov. 24 in Chesterfield General District Court.

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal says the deal announced today will require people who post erotic services ads on Craigslist to provide a working phone number and pay a fee with a valid credit card. The Web site will provide that information to law enforcement if subpoenaed to do so.
West Virginia and Virginia are among the states that have signed the agreement.
Craigslist has also agreed to sue 14 software and Internet companies that help people who post erotic service ads circumvent the Web site's defenses against inappropriate content and illegal activity.
Craigslist will also begin using new search technology in an effort to help authorities find missing children and victims of human trafficking.

Had a longer reply typed out but it got dumped when I tried to post.
Short version is, I took a test ride on this last friday. I think she is older then the 28 yrs in the ad. She is tiny, at like 5'3" around 100 lbs. But not a nice tight spinner thin. The real thing to remember here is that, at least in VA, simple prostitution and soliciting are misdemeanors. The cops are NOT going to invest the resources and money to get Yahoo and ISP info and do IP backtraces unless they have iron-clad proof of the violation - which paying a "security fee" to some bogus website would be, not to mention that on any of these sites that take credit cards you have to put in your correct billing address for the card, which usually gives them your home address and probably phone number. They can threaten you all they want, try to intimidate you, all the tactics cops are trained in, but as long as you don't give them accurate personally-identifying info and don't pay any money, they simply don't have a case worth pursuing.

I've been checking craigslist lately and a lot of the Richmond girls seem to be LEO. Did some cross-referencing with Hampton's & DC website. And some girls are posting same time in same cities. That's a helluva commute from DC to Richmond to Hampton Rds for $200. So thats why a expect it to be LEO.

Hey guys just got home from getting screwed in the bad way. I picked up a bsw near Chamb/Azalea. I'm sure that certain photos have a better "advertsing" response rate than others. It's highly doubtful that multiple LE citys/counties to cooperate in a massive effort.
Do you really think it's possible to distinguish LE from legit by the ad? What clues exist?

I suspect most of us here have been ripped off at least once. It usually happens when you're thinking with the little head. Anyway, I appreciate the report. There's a set or 22 rules here somewhere to follow for your safety. Mostly they keep you from getting busted or ripped off. Paying before getting your service with a SW is usually a problem. I'll make exceptions if I know the girl but otherwise, I play then pay. Don't feel too bad though, I got ripped off twice in a row last year. I'm ashamed to admit I made rookie mistakes but both girls had hot bodies, were good looking by any standard, and the little dog was doing all the thinking.

Most reviews said her pics aren't accurate and she's much heavier than she appears in her posts. Also read that her grooming isn't always the best.
