I haven't been out in a while but the reviews for Abby had me intrigued. Reviews were quite accurate in terms of the experience, atmosphere, etc. She's very easy going and likes small talks. Dreamed I went to One last week, drew Jay (or Jade). Paid house fee of. 8. She gave a very good shower, then a few minutes in the Sauna. I can confirm it is open but might as well be closed. I called ahead and lady sounded delightful on the phone. Said to come in 15 minutes. I waited and rang the bell. An older lady answered but was nice looking. Told me it was $80 for an hour but others said it was $60. Paid the toll and got undressed and on the table. Her name is Wendy. She came in and covered me with a folded sheet. I asked for soft and she immediately moved the sheet down and covered just my ass. Things were looking up at that time. I have been a regular client at BG / OKM Spa for several years and three owners / sets of staff.
The current staff has been there for more than two years. Usually only one staff member is working (providing massage services). Occasionally a friend / traveling temporary Massage Technician (MT) may be on-site.
-- Yes, the current staff did have a closed day for personal travel about a week ago.
-- A few weeks ago I stopped in but the building entry door was locked. I failed to have my cell phone that day so could not call. When I sent a text I was told a first time client had closed the door when he left and they did not know it had been locked (they were open).
-- Yes, a few months ago the neon sign was removed at the request of the property management -- but the spa remains open.
I had an appointment on or about June 8 and another on or about June 19th. No change in staff, pricing or the usual good massage experience. (see any of my previous reviews this location).
OKM spa does not have a shower or sauna of any type. In my experience the staff has always been appropriately friendly and skilled and I have enjoyed a typically nice Northern Virginia massage experience. Always be nice to the ladies.

PA.I'm 100% certain. It's the only spa on Old Keene Mill Road in Burke that is / was known to give any extras. The actual front door of the spa faces a side street and a big shopping center that has a Bank of America and Anita's restaurant. You enter the front door and walk up the stairs.
You have to respect other people's opinions about this place if they report a negative experience. Based on recent reports, it seems this place has changed from years past.

It was refreshing to have a good conversation in the midst of service. She's Chinese but says she's been here 10+ years and now a citizen, and speaks English well. The interior is cool. The Korean AMPs seem to want to do 30 minute pump and dump sessions with about 5 minutes of any actual massage (poke and prod). Maybe they are really desperate to make that monthly rent. The only positive is that a lot of the AMPs in northern VA are more willing to do FS compared to pre pandemic. Pre pandemic, you had to go to PG County for reliable FS. However you have too many mongers overpaying for FS so a lot of providers turned into GPS providers in this area.

Something that might work. On the first few attempts, get a haircut, flirt with her during massage, compliment the crap out of her, talk about whisky and ask about doing something more the next time.

I recall something similar happening in Fairfax where Pine, Angel, and another AMP are clustered in a business park. Someone had reported that these goody two shoes church people were approaching others in the parking lot. I don't think it's LE; they wouldn't just casually approach suspected mongers and hand them a card. And given the the reputation of the Fairfax County prosecutor, I don't think LE is going to investigate this AMP for giving out HJ LOL.

Great Write Up but there is no way I could not leave out Bella from Blue Ocean. Anyways, drove over and in the parking lot, I saw a LoCo cruiser parked in the corner. It appeared to be empty, but I really couldn't tell for sure based on window reflection. Wasn't worth the risk, I just made a you turn and left.

Lots of gems in your post above, I generally agreed with PJ initially as those of us who have been out here for a while, know what we are going for when we go to an AMP. For me personally, I have done the 360 of being in this game exceeding a decade LOL. I settled for AMP's as I find its quite an affordable way to get a decent massage and as they say, either a happy ending of a nice dream. And also, I am far too old now to be playing "mission impossible or possible" at hotels or questionable locations! I had a "proper" massage place I used to frequent and massage plus tip usually set me back $. 8 and nothing happy at the end. (well a bottle of water and a cup of herbal tea) LOL that used to (before inflation as you noted) give me two good trips to an AMP.
You hit the nail on the head with several good points, I try to narrow my AMP visits to a handful of places to create a rapport and in most cases get better service, but that also does not always serve as a guarantee. What is a guarantee, is the NOVA area is superlatively flush with AMP's one should definitely be able to find a few that are not pushy and meet the need. If one location flames out, there are usually 10 others to chose from.
One thing I will note is, read the forum for goodness sake! With the great information posted here daily by the adventurists, you should be able to find a number of great AMP's to visit and frequent, but of course, you occasionally will need to TOFTT so we can continue to get great info. I have been to a few AMP's that I will certainly not revisit.
Prices have most certainly gone up, I do feel they are still trying somewhat to recover from the pandemic as the greater number of them shut down, I recall having to suffer through a few massages by Mamasans during the Covid! One last last point I'd make, most of the AMP's out there also want repeat business, so one can call up the locations and speak to the mamasan. A few adventurist have totally slammed AMP's and I don't believe that is fair, I have also gotten some of the best massages I have ever had at an AMP, in fact that is why I stopped shelling out $. 8 for a visit.
Fun fact, I found an AMP I visited in the same complex as my usual massage spot and one day leaving the AMP, my "regular" masseuse saw me and asked what I was doing there as I had not called! Oh just driving by in the area. I've visited this place twice, not worth it IMHO. First visit was with 40+, average looks, little soft in the middle, but not too bad overall. Her massage was on point, was a better than average AMP massage. She had me fired up and ready for the flip, BUT then the upswell happened. I kinda expected it, and I really didn't mind since I had started with 30 minutes, but then she left for a couple of minutes and returned with another, younger masseuse. She told me the new girl would finish the time. While she was younger and more attractive, the massage went from uncovered with some discreet teasing to covered and very poor technique. She was pleasant, but the mood had completely changed. Needless to say I left disappointed.
Rolling the dice, I attempted this place again. This time a 30 ish, maybe 40 girl, seemingly working alone was there. Overall looks of 6. 5-7, had a pretty nice body. Paid for a hour and got started. She gave a good massage, did some grazing, just enough to keeps my hopes up, but always kept a towel slightly covering me. This time I did inquire about any extras, but no dice.
Even with my unsuccessful experiences here, there's probably something more, but I'm not paying any more to find out.

After blowing my load with one of my regular AMP providers, I decided to check out this new spa in Manassas that was listed on rubmaps. If you google the phone number, Green Rose and Golden Rose Spa are the names this place goes by, but on rubmaps it goes by Green Rose (phone and specific address is listed on rubmaps, I did not see a current ad for them online). They will answer via text if you don't want to call. It's located one block over from the main post office, going northbound.
It's a Chinese AMP, 50 for the half hour, 70 for the hour. Unknown if they have a table shower. Cindy was my provider, thin like Celine from Palace Spa in McLean or Jenny from Cosmos in Centreville. Her face is ok, I saw another provider there who had a better face and a little more meat on her bones but I had gotten Cindy first so I just went with it to feel this place out. Massage is ok, barely passable. Soft touch was good but nothing spectacular. This is a FS place, so she asked me how much did I want to pay, I offered up 120 for FS but she countered with 140 and I agreed. She provided the cover, did a nice CBJ and then I slowly FS her standing mish. She is thin so she may hurry you up if you are packing some length / girth. If you want a good massage go to Massage Envy or reaserch the Forum for providers that give CMT level service. The problem is that everyone writes "CMT level massage" about places with no actual massage. Kiko from Diamond Flash has no clue about massage and yet if you search the forum, you will find "Best massage in the DMV". Tried out the newest place in manassas, do not recommend. Paid for a 4 hand hr CFS for $$$ but within minutes of stripping down the door bell rang so that 3 way became a 2 way immediately. Right after you can tell the remaining woman was trying to finish as soon as possible. I don't know the language but I can infer she was saying "did you. Yet?" From her body language and movements. Sadly she knew what she was doing and within minutes it was over.
She came back only to tell me to get dressed and GTFO. Which I was so pissed about that I just did as I was told. I paid for a 1 hr CFS 3 way and got a 15 minute single CFS, she wasn't even naked. Ending up paying double what I should have because of that switcheroo. Neither can speak English worth a damn either, so were highly dependent on translations apps. Maybe it's just me, but I find it annoying and rude when the provider demands a tip in a pushy fashion. I'm willing to tip for extra services, or for exceptional service, but I don't believe a tip is automatic.
The other day I went to the 2nd floor place in Noblewood / Golansky. Paid for an hour. Massage was below average, basically just going through the motions. About 40 min in, she starts presenting the menu. After a minute or two of negotiation, I finally concluded that I wasn't feeling it and thanked her for her time. She then starts insisting that I pay her a. 2 tip. And was pretty persistent and pushy about it too. So let's go over the facts here: I paid for an hour, got 40 min of a sub par massage, and no extras. I'm thinking she should have been refunding me rather than me paying her a tip. So I thought it was more than fair to skip the tip.
Also went to another spot nearby last week, arrived just before closing and could only do 30 min. Received a halfway decent / average massage for about 20-25 minutes (it definitely wasn't 30). No extra services. Once again, the provider demands a tip at the end. This time the other provider came out and they double team me pushing for the tip. It was quite comical so I played along a little bit, and eventually they FaceTimed a third lady who spoke better English in a continued effort to get me to pay a tip. At that point, I was mostly turned off by the rudeness of demanding that I pay a tip, so I just left.
Again, I've got no problem paying for services rendered and rewarding extra effort. But just a little worn out by the MP culture of demanding tips.You should always tip! It can be minimal if service is mediocre, but you tip. In the first case you chose to end the session early. That's on you, not her. Also keep in mind that not every massage place does extras. They still deserve an appropriate tip. Do you not tip your barber? Do you not tip a waitress? Just be appropriate.
But in the interest of fair play, I have seen my fair share of ladies who provide mediocre service and then demand a plate of mithril when they are only worth the silver of steel at most.
There's nothing wrong with this monger choosing to walk away with HIS hard earned cash when he feels he's being swindled, and while I would have agreed with your post prepandemic; GPS has affected this land like a blight upon the earth. From my own experience I do notice that on average I am paying about $40-60 more for the same service I was getting 5 years prior, and perhaps you can chalk it up to inflation but in the most comical of ironies I often joke that I used to get better service from these ladies years ago when I was a 300 lb tub of jello than I do now that I hit the gym 4-5 times a week. It's not a flex, but if nothing else it's given me a bit more confidence in regards to putting my foot down when a 60 year old crone whose diet consists of only rice and cigarettes is going to tell me that a hand job will cost me 100 schmeckles.
While it is true you do catch a lot more flies with honey than vinegar. The pendulum swings both ways. If these ladies didn't try to nickle and dime every customer and put a little bit more effort into making them feel welcome and satisfied. Then they'd be seeing a lot more of that same customer and build a clientele. It's the kind of foresight of basic alegrara that these ladies lack. If you charge one guy 20 $ below the market price for FS but see him every week. You'll end the month with $600 vs seeing him once at $200.
On top of that said monger might even come to the board to let his bretherin know that he just got served up something special, and the impact of a meaningful interaction at this AMP could be enough to open the floodgates and get these ladies the payday they've been so craving. Otherwise the poor attitude simply leads to a day shift of just twiddling their fingers or bickering to their families on WeChat for 6 and half hours while wondering where all the mongers are at?
That all being said. Always be nice to the ladies. If they hound you for a $20 tip it's best to just part with the Jackson and never set foot into the place until there's a rotation. Be nice to the ladies. Walk away with a smile and then post to the board to make sure other mongers avoid the place. That will let boss know they either need to re-educate the girls or get some new players who better understand the game.Yes, there are two sides to every story, but also guys who "cheap the ladies" might be the reason some want you to get off the table and pay before doing a finish. I had a great appointment with (Thai) Ronda this week.
All the usual (good massage, very nice lady, great attitude, etc.) -- but what made it even better was the courtesy of the brother monger who alerted her he needed to slip his appointment.

Maybe coincidence. LEOs often park when not on a call to do reports, and they park with vehicles facing out in case they have to move quickly for their next call.

I saw Magi a little bit ago, and I had a good time. I know some guys aren't too keen on these ladies since they get more from an AMP for the same price, but I thought it was worth it because I also liked Magi's company.

My comments were based on my experience of my ATFs passing me / referring me to another girlfriend, sometimes even via a MFF.
