--B.I think what he is trying to say is that it's more of a rule of thumb. Location, Location, Location. Northern Virginia tips are excessive when you compare the value nearby. Most are paying more because they don't want to travel to other areas.

If it's above the standard, ie: takes off clothes, let's you nurse, you have fun then I go. 6-. 8 depending on how much I enjoyed the exp / provider was hot /massage was amazing/went above and beyond.
.8 for BBBJ seems a bit short personally I would tip between $- $.2 range again for the same reasons above.
FS: $. 4- $.6 range. Any more than that and you're paying too much; unless it's a rocking provider or you've developed and amazing rapport.

40 - standard HE with limited roaming (more, of course, for better roaming or more clothes removed).
60 - BJ / HJ combo with more emphasis on HJ.
80 - BBBJCIM (rare in NOVA).
$ - FS (even rarer in NOVA).
This is on top of the house fee, which is typically 60 for the half hour and 80 for the hour on this side of the Potomac. So if you're lucky enough to get FS in a Northern Virginia AMP and you tip according to the schedule cited by GripNSlip, you're looking at a total of 220-240 for an hour. This compares to 160 for an alleged hour with an Asian crapshoot provider (more like 30-45 minutes if you're lucky), or anywhere between 180 and 250 for an hour with a typical escort in this area.

I don't want anyone misinterpreting my post thinking you can get a BBBJ or FS simply by coughing up the expected dough, only that if you managed to win the golden ticket so to speak that's the ballpark give or take youd end up spending (220-250).

While it's possible this ad is legit, it also could be a scam trying to get personal information. It's best to avoid answering such an ad unless we have reliable intel that the poster is legit.
I've used e-mail to set up past appointments with providers only a handful of times, but in those cases it was with providers I'd previously seen and with a solid reputation. Plus I used an e-mail account which wasn't under my real name.
Edited to add: I looked at some of the ads on the Backpage24 site. I came across only a couple of ads which seemed legitimate, one from a Sterling AMP and another for the older Asians in the Centreville/Clifton area. Otherwise, it appears to be a site featuring plenty of questionable or dubious ads.

New to NOVA and had tried some local flavors but hadn't run into anything worth posting about until yesterday. Visited roger bacon #6 (knew I was in right place thanks to description of entry way in this forum). Met at door by an older but very pleasing lady named Cindy. Led me upstairs, settled on. 8 for an hour with table shower.
She was very courteous to make sure there was no other mongers around as we walked hallway to the shower. Her skills in table shower were obvious from the beginning, nothing rushed and lots of attention to all the right places. Not real familiar with NOVA yet but in relation to other areas I have been, I would rate the TS as 8/10.

She got close but said that was as far as she would go. I do not know if more is on the table for repeats but for those who like a great slow with good pressure massage I would repeat.
She used just enough oil to be able to use move real slow while exerting great pressure. I made another visit here today. The location is at the back of a business park with lots of parking. The outside door is shared with another business (plausible deniability) and typical double door after you enter from the outside. Not entirely sure this belongs specifically here but I'm posting as a warning to fellow mongers.
A couple weeks ago I wrote a raving review of M and why wellness. I'm sad to say that while checking the books, I noticed an outlandish charge on my credit card. Some providers do get checked on the reg while others do not. It's not a question I can answer for you. But believe me, the risks are always there and you have to play it smart. BBBJ and FS w / out protection is always a dangerous game. The FS providers like you mentioned above give it out I'd imagine 5 or 6 times a day on average, so mathematically speaking, the odds aren't always in your favor. Be smart. Safety frist.

The fact that you could wander right in up to the desk would give me cause to wonder if LFR or reinforcements could do the same. Second I've tested this theory, if you are getting table shower in a different room, is the mamasan checking your belongings for a badge, radio etc? I hang my underwear very specifically over my pants on the wall hook, It is usually moved when I return from the shower. One new place I visited she parked me in a sauna a couple of minutes after the TS to "dry off", that gave the provider plenty of time to do the same search. The risk of disease, the risk of getting ripped off or robbed, the risk of encountering Uncle LEO, etc. Don't forget, however, there's also risk if you pick up a gal in a bar or on the dance floor.
You can mitigate some of those risks by using protection and providing it yourself when necessary, as well as only bringing the cash you plan on spending and doing your homework ahead of time. You can also choose to only patronize AMP's or providers who don't offer FS or French lessons. In any event, your fellow mongers would appreciate your reports on your findings. Several massage locations along Rolling Road.
#301 at 6116 is a quiet location with clean (if a bit small) massage studios which are situated around a large central office type room (typical medical complex type office).
I am unsure of the size of the total staff as only one massage technician appeared to be working when I arrived (Sally, an over-40 lady (most likely of Chinese heritage) with a calm demeanor and typical massage-technician build).
She collected the house fee for the hour (0. 6) and left. I undressed and laid upon the table (small internal studio room, quiet non-descript music and accoutrements, average size table, cool but not cold).
She returned and provided a very good deep tissue massage, a softer-touch was used in the middle part of the massage (before and after flip), hot towels, and more massage to complete the hour.
Not the greatest massage experience ever -- but very pleasant. I was well relaxed and not rushed at any time. Standard tip.
I've tried the other places on Rolling -- I think the total experience at #301 was best value.
Always be nice to the ladies.

I used to go to K&J quite often when they first opened. By chance, most of the time I got Joanne whom you may be describing. Her massages were quite good and she never rushed probably because of them being new and not having many customers. A few times, I would be the only one there throughout the session. There were definitely upgrades with her but IMO, they were lackluster, IE no passion at all.
I also got to see Yu, who at the time was just starting, it was her first week or so. I thought she was cute in a younger MILFy sort of way. Transversing the alphabet of massage parlors it seemed appropriate I stop by ZY massage in Woodbridge. Just right off the Potomac Mills. Or time wellness I'm a bit hazy on the name, but it's an AMP I dreamt of last week in Woodbridge. Placed near a car wash and right next door to a Korean restaurant. Sought a quick half hour and the receptionist asked if I wanted male or female provider. Thought that a bit odd, and initially thought the place was just business. But I asked for a female and got an older provider, not so pretty and a bit of a gut. 30 minute massage was nothing note worthy. Nevertheless NOVA standard is available. I later discovered they advertise online as M4 M provider so hey good on them for being progressive. On occasion I run across something more than 'rub and tug'.

My next visit I asked for a cupping session.
I've had cupping before where they place glass bowls, create suction, and leave you for 20-30 minutes. This place used a machine for suction. It went real deep, hurt initially but as my muscles relaxed, the pain subsided. Ok, I felt great right after.
The next day, actually, next 4 days was a different story. Deep funk. I was no fun to be around. Am guessing the cupping released all sorts of toxins. Physical and mental.
Another time at the same spa the therapist brought out smooth sticks, she said they were from China, to get deep. Yea, they left marks for a few days.
