Seams high to me.For $120, the HJ should be included. I would never pay an additional $60 for it. I seen Vandara once and she tried to upsell the HJ and I told her that I wasn't new to this and it was included in the initial price. She laughed and said I was right and did the deed. I've said this before and I'll say it again, I'll give an extra $60 for P-Massage, $80 for BBBJ and $100 for FS. Nothing more! If we don't start coming together as a community on price of tips, then on the end it screw us all between will be paying higher prices.

Visited this spa recently. I had been there before, when it was Springdale (or Sprindale) Therapy, but hadn't been there in probably close to a year. This time Bebe was my therapist. Fairly tall, fairly slender (a slight belly), and not unattractive. She gave a good medium massage by pressing down on the muscle (rather than long strokes down the muscle), and her hands felt nice. Areas with lower costs (for the ladies), as long as there's a sufficient supply of providers to ensure competition, should result in lower prices for clients. But I've also seen low-cost areas with higher prices because of a scarcity of providers. And high-cost areas, like NY and LA, often have an oversupply that tends to depress prices. IMHO, that's the main reason the DMV has so many visiting girls from CA.
And local conditions can have even more bizarre effects. For example, one K-girl I used to see worked during the week at an AMP in Seven Corners and at a spa in PG County on the weekends. FS available in MD but not in VA for the same girl, go figure. She said it was different MMS rules.
I guess the best a monger can do is to figure out their local market as much as possible and resolve to never, ever, overpay. FWIW, there are plenty of AMPs in VA where the house fee for one hr is $60, or even $50 when they're running a special. So standard relief can be had for $90-$100, all in. Even for an $80 place, there's absolutely no need to ever pay more than $40 for a NOVA std HJ.
By using $90-$120 as a baseline, that then helps in deciding how much to pay for upgrades. For mongers who consistently find themselves overpaying, they should just smack themselves upside the head and admit that the providers are getting the better of them. And that's what's happening when an FBSM provider tries to pretend her $120 hourly rate is ONLY for the massage. That's pure BS, and she knows it. It's then on the client to communicate that he also knows it's BS and isn't going to be played.
And, of course, there are always the success stories where a combination of good homework and good luck will help you find a gem like your fave in CA. And hitting those kinds of jackpots is one of the things that keep us playing the game!

I think many asians are aware that this is frowned open in American culture, so you don't see that as much. But in China, Taiwan and other Asian countries that I have been to, I know that they are very open about this.

Saw a new ad last week for Bamboo in springfield. I went in last week saw an old lady there and asked if they had a TS she said no and I got the vibe place was legit so passed. But went back tonight, not sure why but figured what the hell maybe the massage won't suck and if I get something more then cool if not at least I'd TOFTT. Glad I did. Met with an older korean lady named Julia. She's got some years on her and did not have a spinners body (maybe back in the day) but she wasn't terrible on the eyes either. They were leading someone else out the same door, but from the other side of the curtain, and so I just waited and avoided eye contact.
Onto the massage itself. I can't recall my providers name, but she was middle age +, but very nice and I found her attractive. The table shower was really a sponge bath on the massage table. It wasn't bad, but definitely not my thing. I thought the massage itself was really good, she used hot stones and towels and overall a really nice experience. A little light teasing, and on the flip some more overt attempts. Received a standard nova finish with some OTC / UTC roaming. A little additional shoulder / neck massage after cleaning everything up and I was on my way. Now, this is where something happened that I have never experienced before. On my way out, she stamps a card and hands it to me. She says to come back and I'll get a stamp each time, and when the card is full I'll get a free massage?! I think I left speechless, but now I have to laugh. I will admit that I did ditch the card upon walking out. I don't need an odd reminder like that being left around and found at some random point, but I have never received a stamp card at any AMP I've ever been to. Also, while the massage was good and the ending was as expected, the strangeness of the room setup and location left me a little uneasy so I'm not likely to repeat.
She did also say she had some younger friends that would be joining her in the next few weeks and that I should come back and try the 4-hand massage out. We'll see if my resolve crumbles, I just hope she doesn't ask me for the card if I go back.

Silkflowers changed hands about a year or so following my first visit and I stopped going after a couple of unimpressive visits under the new ownership. There was another place a few miles to the west on Route 30, up near the mountain, but I never returned there following a bad experience.

There was another place a few miles to the west on Route 30, up near the mountain, but I never returned there following a bad experience.

A little additional shoulder / neck massage after cleaning everything up and I was on my way. Now, this is where something happened that I have never experienced before. On my way out, she stamps a card and hands it to me. She says to come back and I'll get a stamp each time, and when the card is full I'll get a free massage?! I think I left speechless, but now I have to laugh. I will admit that I did ditch the card upon walking out. Based off this review I headed to Bamboo. I was initially thrown off at how old the lady was but went with it. I also had Julia and she was great to my surprise. After doing a bit of flirting with her at the start once the lights dimmed she became playful and roaming. One of the best massages I've ever had. The attention to detail was key! IMHO, when a visitor does a search for specific AMPs or providers it accomplishes a few things. First, it shows local forum members that they're serious because they've done homework on their own, as much as possible, before asking for help. Second, the search might show the place they're thinking about is totally legit and not worth pursuing. Third, the search might turn up specific positive or negative info that could help with better and more specific questions. For example, there might be juicy info about a particular girl and so it would be a good question to ask if she's still there. Just my two-cents worth.

Was looking for something new and came across an ad for Sun Therapy in Annandale. Couldn't find any info. But was intrigued that is it is in the former home of one of my ATF. Peach, which was featured in a Washington Post article and subsequently closed its doors. Was kinda put off as its on the third floor of a medical / office building. Directly across is a Dentist office and on the other side by the elevator is a Private Investigators office.

Sorry for the delay, visited Bamboo last week on a Thursday mid-afternoon.
Quite a nice set-up in such an older looking building on the corner of Commerce and. Backlick? Greeted by an older (consistent with other visitors) but very petite and still attractive Korean provider.

I wanted to share this for those of us who are already feeling nostalgic by Coco's protracted upcoming Vacation. I have found Coco's double not in an AMP but in a Japanese restaurant as a waitress.
I was visiting NYC this week and decided on a whim to try a Japanese restaurant. With over 500 Japanese restaurants to chose from I decided on Donburiya in Midtown (55th and 8th Ave). I was in the Lake Ridge / Woodbridge area and did a quick search on CL instead of doing a search here, mistake. I ended up at Euphoric Massages. Beautiful asian women all over the place. I wanted to share this for those of us who are already feeling nostalgic by Coco's protracted upcoming Vacation. I have found Coco's double not in an AMP but in a Japanese restaurant as a waitress.
I was visiting NYC this week and decided on a whim to try a Japanese restaurant. With over 500 Japanese restaurants to chose from I decided on Donburiya in Midtown (55th and 8th Ave). I was seated at the Bar and I looked up at one of the waitresses that passed by me. I said to myself "oh my god she looks exactly like Coco". Hit up smooth water in ffx city. Good news is there ate 3 providers, mid 30's plus.
My provider was Linda. Ok massage, ST was ok, standard nova finish with standard tip brought a pout as she was.

Hadn't been here in a while, so stopped in for some wellness. Suzi (Suzy? Susie?) was the therapist. A little thicker than some, but I thought she had nice curves. She is probably in her 30's or 40's, but I'm a crappy judge of that. Pleasant looks, very pleasant personality, and spoke great English. The massage was fantastic. She knows what she is doing. She used a quality cream (not oil or Jergens lotion, thankfully), and it was an excellent experience (I really value a good therapeutic massage as part of the session). There was some nice teasing before the flip, and a good finish. After the massage, she pointed out some of my problem areas using proper names of muscles, etc. , and we talked a little about alternative medicine (she used to do massage at an acupuncture clinic).

I really enjoy this hobby, some days you just really get lucky on all fronts. Today was such a day. I like to visit CS massage in ffax on ffax blvd because they have a good group of ladies and my intention when I go there is to just relax and enjoy with no expectations. Was kinda put off as its on the third floor of a medical / office building. Directly across is a Dentist office and on the other side by the elevator is a Private Investigators office.

I've been going here for a couple of months because I thought I found a really good legit spot. Clean, comfortable, professional and reasonable, all of that. But the last couple of times they keep shorting on time. That's one thing that really irritates me is the time issue.I usually deduct $10 if they short me 10 - 15 minutes. If they short me more than that then I deduct $20. But very important to let them know exactly why you're doing it and what they need to do to earn the full amount next time. And maybe also mention to MMS so she understands what's expected. They may pout and complain but they'll get the message that you're not a client to be f*cked with.
Appropriate incentives and disincentives are what makes this hobby work. And allowing providers to take unfair advantage just makes things worse for future customers. Haahah wow man that sucks. Funny thing is, I went yesterday maybe an hour or two before closing for the same reason. I walked in but I didn't even get the girl and I didn't want to seem to eager as if I already knew about the BJ so I didn't. Well, last Sunday (4/1), I tried the spa that everyone has been buzzing about -- the one in Springfield on the 3rd floor of the building with the skinny and thick girl, LOL.
Well, I didn't the thick girl, so I must have gotten the skinny one.
I'm going to compare this place to Bamboo Therapy in Springfield.
Neither place offers a table shower. Tie. Facilities. Bamboo I felt was nicer and more comfortable / welcoming.
In my honest opinion, the "skinny" provider gave a great massage. It was between light and medium touch, but I thought it was actually quite good! I will give the edge to Bamboo Therapy however. You can pull up my post.
Soft touch was also good. I thought it was comparable to Bamboo Therapy. Maybe a tie.
No BBBJ offered nor asked.
I think the service at both locations is quite similar. Bamboo -- you get a more conversational provider verse the other location. Would I go back to the 3rd Floor spa? Maybe. Would I go back to Bamboo? Definitely.
Probably a bigger problem for the independent ladies.1. For new clients, since there are no "open" points of reference.

I do the following. Happily pay the 1 hour fee. Enjoy the TS and the rub, which usually are nice. Upon the flip, when the upsell comes, I negotiate the tip as such: I say 20 for nothing, 40 for hand, 100 for. You get the idea. They make a decision and the fun begins (very rarely not). This way, I control what I am getting and so do they.
If you have an existing provider, great, do what you normally do! Otherwise, if you all do the above, we will not overpay when trying a new provider and we wil reset the market.

If I knew what I know now I would have moved to Maryland when I came from out of state.I'm black and mixed. I had one provider ask me if I spoke spanish and then when I said no asked me to send a pic. Some of those contact numbers aren't valid any loner, but others are.
And, of course, the AMPs are still around. The clampdown didn't bother them much, since they didn't much depend on sites like CL and BP for business. What the new (or, rather, revamped) USASG now needs is the sharing of our findings.
Yes, the Internet has a history but one has to wonder if some providers simply moved on. We'll have to see who's still active and who isn't.
Time and money have been in short supply for me recently, but out of curiosity I perused some of the ad boards still available. Many of those ads are dubious at best, even more dubious than the Asian crapshoot ads which dominated Backpage the last couple of years. On one site I also found some ads for providers who had supposedly retired. So this will definitely be an interesting season.

Franconia Wellness is one of several KSpas within about a mile of each other (close proximity to the DMV Office in Franconia).
It is kept in good condition by management. The studios are a bit small, but clean. Good TS area.
I was a walk-in last week. Greeted by MMS (cautiously welcoming); collected house fee (. 8/ hr) and told me to undress (towel in plain site for my modesty of course).
Joy, an attractive in that Nova Kgirl manner ("spinner-ish") arrived after about 5 minutes. She was pleasant, and took me to the TS where all was cleaned (nice TS if not great).
Back to studio for massagi. Not bad (not great) - but a nice "Thai / Swedish" combo massage.
First visit (and I was a walkin) -- so, average enjoyable finish. Standard tip + . 1 (perhaps better treatment awaits).

Wow, talk about bad timing. The forum went down just before moving to the DC area. I had a dream that I was flying blind near the airport. Came across a site (CVX) that had a massage / rub section. Landed on this busty, private, "Thai" provider in Chantilly named Zaza Thai. She told me $. 2 for a dream and I was on my way.
When I arrived at the apt complex she sent me the APT number. When she opened the door I was relieved that it was the girl in the pictures. She led me to a nice massage room and instructed me to get comfortable. When she walked in she immediately draped me. I was concerned and it didn't get any better. She gave a legitimate but decent massage with no teasing whatsoever. At the flip she asked what I wanted and I asked for it all and she rebuffed. I settled on a HE which seemed like all she was willing to offer, no touching allowed and she remained fully dressed. She got the job done but the experience was very mechanical.
The experience was odd. She texted promptly and communicated well but hardly muttered more than a word or two in person. I speak some Thai and she had no idea what I was saying. When I asked her where she from she said Bangkok. I then asked her why she couldn't speak thai she said she left when she was young. So I then asked her where she grew up and she responded, Zurich. The whole thing was very fishy and I probably won't see her again. I def do not recommend her.

Revisited New Blue Sky on Dorsey across from the hospital in the business park, have not been there in a long time, still the same. 5 hour (legit) massage, . 2 tip, . 7 total, enjoyable time overall, will opt out of the back walk next time and go medium instead of hard pressure, neck hurts on one side, let that relax / heal, then I plan to repeat.

One thing I can say: if you want a simply therapeutic massage--and there is nothing wrong with that -- you don't need to go to this site, or any site that has focuses on adult services. You can go to Yelp and key in your neighborhood. There are plenty of therapeutic massage places around the DMV, and some of them are very good.

Was a first time walk in client at Soft Touch.
Older studio but well equipped for an enjoyable massage experience. Easy parking in an older medical condo-type complex.
Manager was appropriately cautious (new client, did not call ahead). Massage Technician (Ann or Anna?) - very nice (small, slender (and a bit quiet. Not chatty) .
Nice TS (I would have liked more time, but everything cleaned). Good massage (worked out kinks and knots back and front). Enjoyable in all aspects.
No discussion of tip. Was not shorted on time. Standard house for the hour (4 xJackson) standard tip as well. I will most likely repeat if I am in the area.

While that's ok for the client side of things, it's not very helpful for the CMT providers who used to post in BP or CL therapeutic. Better than nothing, but still not quite hitting the mark.

OldManInVa mentioned visiting Lotto at Arlington Therapy. That's one of my regular haunts and Lotto is a true gem. She always makes sure I'm completely satisfied. Note: She's mature, not a PYT. So if your attendant doesn't have to be a 22 year old, (or a 36 year old who looks like she's 22), to get your motor running, Lotto's a fantastic choice. And please note: The spa is in Arlington, so there is no table shower. As a result, it is in your best interest to be freshly showered before you visit.
I went to Arlington Therapy Saturday and saw Lotto. She commented on how business had been slow since they couldn't advertise as much. It will be interesting to see how the market changes.
