Sorry for the late report.

I was feeling the same way, and certainly it's a reasonable thing to do (even after the first one!). I've found, though, that people in this line of work often have reasons that they're doing this and not something else, reasons that often end up revealing themselves. On top of that, I don't know about you, but when I was in my 20s I blew off a day of work here or there after a late night out and just dealt with the consequences.
