I’M really grateful to posters on this forum. Before a business trip to DC this summer, I RTFF’d and was able to set up two memorable sessions with Candy and Rose at 14K on the first try. For my current trip, it was hard to see what, if anything, was worth patronizing among all the doom and gloom over Black Weds. The AMP on PA ave SE seemed like the best bet, and I can testify after a fantastic session on Monday that the DC scene can still roar. ThanksNormally I would agree with you, but with basically just one or two AMPs open, I'd like to ask for folks to hold-off on full details for now. Maybe just 1) its open and 2) its "legit" as in old school AMP service in DC.

Took a trip to DC and then wanted to go and have a enjoyable evening. My regulars places in DC were closed and I read a report about Orange. Good neighborhood and easy to find so i took a trip to Orange. Walked up the second floor, Mammas an let me right in and took me to the room, small but would do the job right away. Dallas is real easy if you fly Southwest into Love Field. Take a right turn out the of airport on Mockingbird Lane, then right on Harry Hines, and down a mile or 2 you'll see plenty of SC's and AMPs. There are several AMPs off a side street (Storey Lane?) along HH as well.I thought I'd share my experience at Hawaii Spa in case some of you guys travel there for business (you can find address easily via Google) I went there back in March--and am glad that I did.

Interesting. I went to Hawaii in Dallas a few years back. House fee plus $1.4 tip, which I was told by hobbyists was standard there and then.

Gave a call to my local citrus stand to verify that they are still selling delicious fruit, and they answered the phone and said theyll be selling today.

First of all, Merry Christmas to all you regular mongers, you know who you are. This afternoon around 2, I picked up one of the worst cases of Yellow Fever I have had in some time. The BC'ing among senior members seems to be going strong and working; something I know that I am not yet acknowledged enough to become a part of. Shutting down this site would kill this method of communication as well.
I suggest that we need to start a standard in reporting that shares enough information to those that understand and makes it considerably difficult for those that don't have the key. Seriously, it doesn't take a genious seeing "fruit stand" once and a few posts about a place called orange for anyone to put it together.
A person that I have noticed that gives great reports is Pilot Aviator (who I think posts mostly on the nova board). He posts enough about locations for people to understand what he's talking about, but is sufficiently discreet that even if you read his posts; you would need a good idea of what is where or a key to understand.
I know that in a public forum LEO will always figure it out; but I see a need for boards like this to exist so that the community can function together and discuss things like THIS problem; or other issues like rates, tips, preferences, and other intel that helps everyone. I don't think that is a valid solution. People will still be posting on other boards and leo will know from there. This is the internet. There are so many forums and places for intel to be found that it wouldn't be wise.
If you actually read PA's posts, you would have noticed the discretion he uses when posting.
I'm just pointing to it as a possible model for which to continue business in public forums. There are mongers everywhere, and this board is not the exclusive place in which to post, but it seems to be very central to the community. That is why I think it is better to setup standards of reporting and hopefully disseminate a standard that can be followed elsewhere that is friendly to both us and the business.

I'm not sure LE needs to bother with this, or any other, web site. I think the whole thing is more about whether a certain jurisdiction wants to have these kinds of establishments operating or not. Until just a couple of years ago, and for several years before then, the Washington Post sports section was loaded with ads for places in Virginia, Maryland and the District. Does anyone thing LE missed that? Of course they knew what was going on, and the things we posted here were every bit as detailed as what people posted recently about Orange; maybe more so.
My all time favorite places were Downtown and Tanning and Massage (T&M)(in White Plains, MD). The always had the youngest, most attractive girls, and provided the best service. T&M operated for quite a while without problems, until Charles County got too many complaints from people dropping their kids at a day care located in the same strip mall. I'm not sure if they thought that someone going to T&M might also be on the prowl for little kids, or whether the little kids would be somehow bothered by the fact that men were going in and out of another business in the same strip mall. (I highly doubt that the kids knew what was going on inside T&M. I suspect it was more likely the soccer moms dropping kids off there who objected.) Wherever these places operate, LE probably won't bother them unless there are complaints. These complaints could come from other business owners who feel that these places might hurt their own business, which I find unlikely. The other source of complaints would be from the aformentioned soccer moms, or other residents, who feel that these places are not welcome.
We can speculate about how the moms might feel threatened by the fact that they are fat and unattractive to their husbands compared to the K-girls. My point is that these places advertise because they are in business to make money, and they are trying to attract customers. Secondly, politicians respond to constituents, and LE are run by politicians: in DC it's the mayor, and in Maryland and Viriginia it is the county sheriff, an elected official. The District is certainly a different place than it was just a couple of years ago. If enough people complain about something, you can be sure that some action will be taken. So it doesn't matter whther this web site goes silent or not, as others have said, the spas advertise on Craig's List and/or the City Paper, and there are always neighbors around that might complain. I would bet that the reason for the raids on Orange were the result of neighboring businesses complaining rather than anything posted on this board.

I have to say, I do not believe that posting here gets anyone shut down. I think that LE is smart enough to know what goes on in the neighborhood without getting intel from here. How many times have any of you had a homeless guy say something while you were looking for a spa entrance? I have and I am sure this guy did not have access to the net but he knew what was going on on his street. If the drunk in the gutter can figure it out then I am sure our buddies in LE can. I agree with Chaz in that it is mostly do gooders or other people in the area that complain to get these places shut down.
As for the level of detail in the reports, some should be kept to PMs simply out of respect. Commenting that your recent provider lacks massage skills, was good or is a spinner is one thing but the girls read this forum too. Most of them are real women with feelings just like any other woman. If they do something especially kinky I cannot believe thay want it plastered on the web.
Moderation could be the key.

Amen to Big Daddy & Chaz' thoughts. While cleanups have taken place in MD, the MD Guide goes on and keeps the valuable info flowing. Some spots, NEVER reported on, are locked up while others, verbosely commented about in the forum, continue to prosper. These DC pages are a great source of general info on the DC scene, as well as valuable safety info concerning places to avoid. For any reason. Shutting it down will be counterproductive. My take.

I have to agree that posting or not posting does not seem to affect any LE activities. In my RTFF experience, there is no correlation between busts and posts. Businesses reported on equally in the forum do not have the same record of busts or LE problems. Which leads me to believe that it is something more local (jurisdictional goals, politics, etc, ) or inherent in the actual spa (location, FS versus NOVA finish, etc.), meaning outside of this forum. Of course, this is off the cuff from a few examples I remembered in NOVA and DC.
It's also a hot topic/button for officials to easily target in election years or in need of positive press. That's why they always throw in the "possible slave ring" although it is a legitimate concern with some nationalities. Not Asian as far as I have witnessed. I believe they could shut down this industry in a heartbeat if they wanted to, a la Montgomery County, without the help of a website. It's more a matter of resources and the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
As previously stated, LE knows what's going on in their streets. These guys are not dumb. They probably have more information than they know what to do with.
Just my take on it.

Royal Spa was all asian as far back as 1998 and H and L streets are no where near the mall.There was a place on K Street NW, perhaps in the 1200 block, that had white college girls in white coats, and a bubbly jacuzzi. I believe they were two floors up from an International Youth Hostel retail outlet, and had a big (steamy) picture window on the third floor facing north onto K Street. As I recall, it closed about 22 years ago. "American" was (if memory serves) in the name.
I just got back from a ride on the Orange line to a stop somewhere between Rosslyn and New Carrollton.
I had to walk FAR too far to see the person I saw.
It was well worth the hike and I came out of there feeling 30 years younger but really tired! I almost took a taxi back to the Metro!

Last week I got invited to an all orange party. Well I don't have much orange in my wardrobe so I had to go find an outfit to wear. Me being a somewhat fashion conscious guy I knew I had to find a cute chick to help me find an outfit that'll catch eyes. So off I go to the southern most eastern end of the city. Got to the outfit and was let in. They asked to take my measures, no measures I know my sizes, let's just get right to it. Now the chick helping me was slim, on the very very petite side. Something I DON'T like, I prefer voluptuous women, but I'ma good sport. At this point it was late and I had to find something to wear so I said, oh well you'll do. Skipped the formalities and picked an outfit and a dressing room. In the dressing room she "helped" me out of my clothes and worked out my "kinks" so I could look buffed in my shirt. That was so-so, she then noticed a bulge below my beltline and proceeded investigate that for a few minutes. She's a very "thorough" investigator. Next up was the mission to finish getting dressed. That didn't take long as I was in a rush and even though the sales lady was nice, she just didn't have that same manner I like from other stores. Will I be back, I don't know, but it served the purpose. I got my outfit and made the party.

I remember when Montgomery County was going strong, and when it got busted. Ironically, I found out about more places from busts than I did this board. LE seriously knows, and closes things when people complain.
This is true. Downtown used to be just a run-of-the-mill spa until that girl got murdered there. After it hit the news, business tripled and then came the days of the 9-girl lineup... HWC also got a lot more business after news of their bust a couple years ago.

I agree. I remember when I first got to this area back in 2000 that the Post was full of ads for DC VA MD. I remember one nice place down in Charles County that the girls looked really nice and service was great, then I believe in 03 0r 04 Charles County residentents got uptight and then all things started closing.

One of the locations on M street placed new ads with the name Star this last week. Location is old and known, name is new. So although the name was changed recently, it's possible someone was at the same location 3-4 weeks ago.
Now as for the Star in Nova, i don't believe anyone is using that name currently but there used to be 3 amps with that name, the best being where MO's is now. Now that was a spot worth going to for a while. Kim's just ain't worth it though.

Fuck meter is reset to zero. 2008 was slow [was supposed to be my retirement] so the body count was about 35. O count was probably hovering around 250...

Of course! There was one of DC's finest Chinese buffet restaurants on the second floor! :-)
I decided to check out the New Years Eve fireworks at the above-mentioned location yesterday. After having secured transportation to the famous city, I got all the way up to the city entrance only to find that it was closed to visitors, almost as if there was a big deadbolt lock across the entrance. Bummer -- I had nowhere to go to celebrate.
After LE shut them down they actually showed up across the river first over by 10th Street & Wilson Boulevard got ran out of their and showed up west on Wilson Boulevard about 1/4 mile past George Mason Drive on the 2nd fl.
Don't know what happened after that. But I had asked her to call me if she changed locations again? No call this place was always great to me from Canal Road all the way through Arlington.
Downtown towards the end service was a little off the regular course just one's opinion.

So I figure it's about time I rectify that.
Visited the Penssylvania citrus stand last weekend and met up with Dora, a 5'-4", 125#, 36D, semi-cutie of about 45 years. Took me to Room #3, where I got comfortable. Given some of the recent discussion of LE activity, I was tempted to write this post in "code", which many of the posters here do in some fashion or other: "I had a dream last night and..." "2 roses" "Pennsylvania citrus stand..."
But if Larry Craig can get busted for tapping his feet and reaching for the toilet paper, "I had a dream..." ain't gonna fool anybody.
And LE knows better than we do where all the sex is. They don't need to hear it from us. They can read Craigslist and City Paper like all the other horny guys.
Anyway...
On New Year's Day around noon, I decided to start the year off right and treat a friend of mine to his first AMP massage. I usually don't go the AMP route, but he was into it, so first we checked the few places I knew -- K St, the old Downtown, Green Ct -- all closed.
So we decided to take a chance on M St and randomly chose the 2nd floor buzzer for no other reason than we didn't feel like going all the way up to the 3rd. The mama-san greeted us and sent us to different rooms. My friend scored Bebe, and I got Julie (reviewed positively by others here). I think I got the better deal. Julie says she's 26 and from Seoul, and she has large implants on a very petite frame. She collected the $60 house fee and led me to the TS. Meanwhile, my friend was chillin' with Bebe and a Diet Coke in the sauna, which actually made me a little jealous. But somebody's got to go first. The TS was good, thorough, and HOT (temp), but nothing out of the ordinary.
Back in the room, Julie gave me a firm massage that culminated with her walking on my back and legs. This lasted for a good 20 minutes, followed by the most extensive and enthusiastic AR I've ever had, with attention given simultaneously to the surrounding areas (odd position, but rather nice). Let me first establish my credentials. I lived in Honolulu for quite sometime. I've travelled the far east. Recently I've travelled the Eastern Seaboard. So I know what constitutes a good AMP.
After reading a few posts, I thought that I'd gaze skyward and look for a heavenly body at Star.
I find the place next to Camelot above the Kabob place. However, an LE cruiser is parked out front. Not a great start. Eventually it pulled away. In the end, it only slowed me down.
So I walk up to the door at 1829 but am stopped by a kind gentlemen who I'll. For lack of a better term. Refer to as a bum. He approached me before I pressed the buzzer and let me know that there were hot Spanish girls just a few doors down at Jasmine.
Skeptical, I thought, WTF, I'll give it a go. So I followed the man to Jasmine. As Mama peered through the front door, the bum started demanding a $20 referral fee. F that. If mama wants to pay it fine, but not me. Nevermind that I only carry no more than the standard fee (more on that to follow). Eventually the bum leaves. When Mama finally opens the door, though, she waves me off. Fuck. I guess the bum frightened her too. I thought she had employed him.
So I go back to Star where the sentry had reposted himself to divert traffic back down the road. He asked for the money again. I refuse. As I go in the door, I see the hottest girl chasing after me. The bum nudges me and says, "see what I mean. " At this point though, things are just too complicated to go back. So I decide to stay where I'm at. In the confusion however, I hit the buzzer for M st. And NOT STAR! Arrrghhhhh the pirate said.
So as I approach the second floor, Mama from the third floor scoops me up to show me the way up another flight of stairs. Damn.
I get in the room and pull the slot handle and miss the jackpot. My girl is 40+ and wrecked. 4 of 10. No other available. I ask her name, she says "Sheira". Did she mean Sheila? She should change her stage name! Since I'm here, and after all the effort expended so far, I stay.
Lackluster shower, no attention paid to anywhere important. She chucks me into the sauna for a few minutes, and we're back to the room. Mediocre back massage. Flip and she asks me to stand up. What? "No Money, no honey" she explains. So I put a $1 on the table. She gives me the rub-and-tub signal with a question mark on her face. Huh? No f-ing way. So I tell her "everything" and she tells me that is $1. 4.
At this point I defiantly say, "No! " Back and forth, but I hold my ground and keep saying no. She wants a credit card. Etc. Etc. But thankfully, all I have is the standard fee on me so I have great leverage. After 5 minutes or so, she relents and excepts $1.
Boy oh boy. Who the F is spend $2 on this place? Please, for the love of God, STOP! Which reminds me of another story from Atlantic City. In a minute.

Story from AC. I visited a place there a few months back and fell victim to paying $2. New city so I thought the rates were higher (maybe I was drunk). No kidding though, when things were all said and done, she actually told me that no one pays $2 and that next time I should only pay $1. 6. Did she pity me? I don't know. Speaking of pity. Anyone wonder who gets outfits for these girls? My AC girl looked like a cross between a circus clown and a ballerina. OH yeah, during the TS, the AC girl told me that I was fat and that I should lose weight. She also expounded on the state of the economy and her admiration for the President elect. I didn't know they followed current events. I guess that experience rival tonights!

I have to disagree that we can expect lower grade service with the shutdowns. The economy sucks. All businesses are making less profits these days. I know my personal income is down about 28% from what it was two years ago.
The new spa seems to understand this. I have gotten great service with the full hour there for the standard fee. When things were going strong, we were getting shorted time with slacker girls and many mongers were talking about raising prices. I think girls should be happy to get customers now with the lack of extra cash that is available today.

Well I stand corrected. After just posting that service has been good, I had the second worst AMP experience ever at Orange.
The door was opened by a cutie (for her age) that called herself Jachia. I had her repeat it a couple of times and she said "like Chia Pet". Anyway, the TS was extremely short, barely wiped me down but it was busy so I figured they needed to use the shower and I had showered before coming anyway so off to the room.
To keep down the detail, she wanted to skip the massage, do business and get me out.
She said it was busy and they did not have enough girls. I let her know this was unacceptable and that customers expect more than a quickie pop and a boot out the door. I did not care if other customers were waiting, I was a customer too.
Ajima, if you are reading this, what happened? You must train the new crop to take care of the customers. If it is very busy either turn people away (I have been turned away many times) or tell us up front that 1/2 hour is all that is available. Since the economy is down, it is a little harder to come up with the fees to visit, you must make the visits worth while.

Dc used have 6 to 10 AMPs like this, now down to 2 or 3. Those doors will ring alot more, and the women know they can get the same tip for a 35-minute session as they can for a 55-minute one.

Back in fall of '07 a friend introduced me the lower level at K St when his stories peaked my interest. There was a spinner named Bebe which I only met that one time. She went on vacation shorty after I was introduced. Since then I have learned that she was quite rare in this field. Too bad.
I saw the recent review of Star and got curious if Bebe was the same one I remembered from K. Unfortunately, she is not, or I have a really bad memory. However, I will say the place will please a number of the people on this board. She is quite friendly. Only complaint was the lack of a proper back/neck massage as available at the fruit stand, NOVA, and really everywhere. Asked and she said they do that on the 3rd floor, which I was going to waste time with. Maybe she was tired or b/c she already had the standard fare. The place is quite clean and has the best sauna I've seen in AMP yet. I would have actually enjoyed spending more time in it.
Thus far I would prefer the fruit stand but Star is nice and clean.
If anyone ever catches up with Suzie from Supra or Bebe from K St. reach out.

It's been awhile, and I have only been rarely doing the CL outings in fear of the inagural events comming up. I would like to return to the lovely AMP ladies, but haven't been in the loop for awhile. If my limited senority permits, may I have permission to IM select seniors with regards to getting information for my hobby?
Also, does the horizon look as though the AMP scene will only get bleaker? I remember something about Koreans getting temporary VISA's and such that would lead to more ladies comming our way. What happened to that!!! Anyways, on a scale of 1-10, what would you all say the danger factor is for pursuing this lovely hobby at this point and in the next few months.

Thanks for the previous reports.
It has been a long time since I have not gone for Korean lunch. Today I found myself with some lunch money and a bit of time so went and had a “star” treatment.
My therapy administrator was Bebe since Julie was busy. I got comfortable and gave her the house fee which she took.
After coming back, she then took my hand and off to the TS (methodic : she literally cleaned my whole body, although I had taken a shower earlier I do like it how it is done.)
A Sauna stop for a couple of minutes the back to the room.
In the room , I put her tip under my watch. She takes it says thank you, goes out for a minute.

Just for curiosity, does anyone happen to remember a MP near the Mall (I think it was somewhere between H and L streets)? I remember needing to ring the doorbell down near the sidewalk, then go through a door and up some stairs into what looked like a doctor's office waiting room. It was here that you waited for the line-up, which consisted mostly of young girls (mostly white) in white lab coats.
I've been trying to convince myself that I didn't just make this place up, but the last time I was in town a few years back I did some walking around where I thought I remembered it but all I found were hollowed out abandoned buildings.
Am I taking crazy pills here or did this place actually exist?

First, thanks for the info I was able to glean out of here. I swing thru DC a few times a year and was following the recent closings and saw that my usual few places were all closed.
I landed late this afternoon from the sun and warmth of Southern California and headed into the district and found Star easily. Mamasan was super friendly and showed me to room 3 where I was shortly met by Bebe. She's pretty and looked hot in her bikini so it was off to the TS after the house fee.

Last night I tried a cup of Bebe too and it didn't melt ice it had me boiling and steaming. But I have been hobbying, just with indy's in the area and those ladies who travel in and out of town and the Apt AMP types. I have been reading the reviews here and I have noticed that alot of you talk about the same ladies. Has DC gone down that much to where there are only a few ladies at the DC AMPs or are there just only a few of them open now? And the ladies seem to be older than they were in '07. Are there any places that have "young" hot ladies in DC. Like it used to be? If so, please hit me up on the back channels.

C luvTo my knowledge there are just two (the third is a rip-off) amps open. I haven't checked out the one on New York to see if its open, but doubt it since there aren't any reports on it. Its as bad as you say it is and not that 2008 was much better.
There are private ones, but too much of a pain in my opinion for those of us on a limited time schedule.
14K still has the iron gate fence door closed, but will drive by Green to see if there is any progress on the 'renovation'.
I tried all the other amps awhile ago and about half literally had a chain on their doors.
Street scene was pretty dead this morning. There was NOTHING early morning, and then a few came out and they were gone within minutes, which is rare. A few new faces, but they were Baltimore SW types, blah.
Went to Star the other weekend. Got there around 8PM on a Friday night.
I killed an hour or so at Camalot, then walked a few doors down. Asked for Julie and was told "she no longer here". I kind of feel sorry for the place on the floor above. I'm new to the area and haven't found anything good so far where I'm at down in southern Maryland. I hit the hot sun in Waldorf, which was miserable. So when I had to go to DC in business Tuesday, I wanted to check out the scene there.
I headed for 1829, a number I won't soon forget. They told me there that the actual name of the place is 'Star Spa'. I found on-street parking, but just as I was going to get out a black SUV with SWAT-looking types pulled up, double parked, and went into the Mexican place in the basement on the corner. Turns out they just got take out, but I waited to make sure.
I decided to check out the Camelot first since it was right there. That place is too classy for my tastes. On my way back out, a woman was talking to the doorman, and the doorman was saying 'I don't know if they'll let you in, they are all asians up there. We have to protect our liquor license, you know' or something along those lines.
Being cautious I waited her out. She went in and sat on the steps to the second floor of 1829! She had a clipboard so I figure shes a reporter or activist type. So I wait a bit longer and she leaves. I ring the bell for the 2nd floor (thanks for info, guys).

I took a long hiatus from the hobby, as most of us did, due to events by our uncles in more recent history but I'm pretty optimistic these days that our hobby is on its way back.

First time I hit a DC place in a while. I guess things aren't like they were, but the quality of this visit is way above anything I've experienced in Nova in the last yr or so.
My friend said they had a visitor yesterday. Local LE stopped in Golds and closed the doors. Not sure when or if they will reopen?

Apparently the word among the spas is that there may be a concerted effort to crack down over the next couple of months. The girl I was with sad she is very nervous, and she knows that the other girls, in all of the remaining spas, are also nervous. Since what she told me about the police visit to Star seems to be accurate, I wanted to pass this along. For the next couple of months, at least, we should all be just a bit more careful. Hopefully, this too will pass, but I see a trend here that does not make me optimistic.

So I had to see the settings and report my dream.
The lady who was to administer my therapy is called Nana, about 5ft tall with babyback. Long hair with extra makeup white bikini.
