ASHEVILLE, N. C. The Asheville Police Department said an undercover operation conducted from Jan. 22 to Feb. 16 brought down a prostitution den, leading to eight arrests.
APD said undercover officers conducted the sting operation in the areas of Coxe Avenue, South French Broad Avenue, Hilliard Avenue and Grove Street.
Authorities said they arrested and charged Lisa Franks. 31, of Sylva, and Marion Little. 48, with loitering for prostitution and soliciting for prostitution. Teri Gentry. 22, of Asheville, was charged with loitering for prostitution and second-degree trespass, according to a police report.
Police said they arrested and charged Melissa Pope. 44, of Marshall, with loitering for prostitution and soliciting for prostitution; Juanita Benson. 39, of Asheville, with soliciting for prostitution; Amy Dejarnette. 31, of Asheville, with loitering for prostitution; and Angela Cagle Hicks. 27, of Asheville, with second-degree trespass.
In December, undercover officers said they conducted an operation on residents who were running unlicensed massage businesses as a cover for prostitution.
Officers said those suspects posted ads on the website "Backpage," and operated out of local hotel rooms. APD said it was able to make seven arrests through that undercover operation.

To be blunt, I am disappointed at what is available here. So I get a random text message saying that I have a profile on expose John's.com. The the number is from some Washington state registry. When I click the link that was sent in the text, it pulls up a screenshot of a text message I had sent. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
You can pay to have your picture and profile removed from the website, so I'm assuming it's a total scam.
Hopefully you are using a burner cell or app such as hushed or burner to give you a little separation. I imagine they run fake ads to try and capture numbers to blackmail who they can into paying. If you know what ad you answered for them to pick up your number you should post so everyone can avoid it.
So I get a random text message saying that I have a profile on expose John's.com. The the number is from some Washington state registry. When I click the link that was sent in the text, it pulls up a screenshot of a text message I had sent. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
You can pay to have your picture and profile removed from the website, so I'm assuming it's a total scam.

Hopefully you are using a burner cell or app such as hushed or burner to give you a little separation. I imagine they run fake ads to try and capture numbers to blackmail who they can into paying. If you know what ad you answered for them to pick up your number you should post so everyone can avoid it.This one.

Not expensive but still looks decent and they even let me get a room just for the day. I have found with tracfone that you only have a limited amount of text's that you can send. When I called them they told me that I had to add text time. After that everything was fine. They use the towers from the main carriers, but in this area because the hills and valleys break up the line of sight, the coverage is spotty.

No problem but the battery light was flashing. Plugged it up to the car charger and was on my way.
Got to the motel and the phone was completely dead! Tried the charger with my real phone and it worked. Thought about uong that to call her bit googled the number and nothing but escort sites so I ended up just going home.
Hopefully I can get it to charge so I can copy my contacts. Have a bunch of one's I haven't seen yet and haven't seen them post for a while.

I have found with tracfone that you only have a limited amount of text's that you can send. When I called them they told me that I had to add text time. After that everything was fine. They use the towers from the main carriers, but in this area because the hills and valleys break up the line of sight, the coverage is spotty.I have had a trac phone for years with no issues. This year I just went for the. 99 annual thing with 1 k minutes. Its just the LG flip phone. Texting is a little awkward. You may want to go in a delete some old texts off. The memory is limited but I don't know anything about a 'text limit'. I just get charged a half minute for every text. And this thing stays charged for days!
