In my humble opinion, I would avoid The Pink Slip. Although I have NEVER been there - it just looks too far "down the road" from the safer clubs. Mind you, this is just MY opinion. I have been to both Bottoms Up and Soft Touch. I feel "safer" in Bottoms Up, but both clubs greeted me with open arms (and legs). Skin color is not an issue as long as you have "the green"......... As with ALL clubs, YMMV, but you can actually get MORE "miles per gallon" at these clubs.
I was there just once, years ago. I am white and did not feel comfortable at all. When I went to the stage, I had a few large black men gather around me and start singing "honky in the house" to me. I went to another stage and they followed. Then I sat at the stage with a large woman of color. She looked like she could kick there asses. The guys followed me there too, but she told them to leave me be. As they walked away, one of them said see you out side. I had most of my money in my shoe, but what I had left in my wallet I handed to the dancer, making sure everyone saw that was all of my money. After having my face covered with her large boobs, that she let me play with and suck on, I left with a sprint in my step. I have not gone back since. I have gone to the Soft Touch and felt welcomed.

Went through Washington Part last weekend (first time since last spring) and found the Chameleon Club closed. Went to C-Mows and one of the girls said they got closed down due to some sort of licensing problems, alcohol I believe she said.
Anyone have any more information?

I have been to the Pink Slip several times myself and I am white too. Never had any problems on the inside but I knew a girl that worked there too. Its the outside you have to be concerned with because I had an encounter with a couple of dudes which happened across the street from Roxy's. That happened back in 97. Depending on what you are looking for the Pink Slip can be a fun place.
So is the Chameleon Club still closed? Or has it been reopened? If closed, where are some of the ladies like Jada, Chastity, and Rachel working now?
Chamelion still closed. Chasity was working at wise guys. Mowes beginning to loosen up with lap dances allowed at stages and regular chairs in the private area. A poor screen also was put up infront of private area but not very effective.

It was closed in 2002-03 over licensing issues, but not for terribly long.

I am kind of excited to be able to add some useful info on here after doing so much reading of everyone's exploits. As a relative newbie, I don't usually have that much info to offer.
I dropped by C-Mowes on a whim since Chameleon is closed and ran into Jada. Didn't get to talk to her too much but she said Chameleon is probably not going to reopen. As she put it, the owner wasn't paying the right people. She said they took his liquor license, adult license, and business license. Jada is a talker as someof you know, so maybe she exaggerates. I asked about where the other girls had gone and she said she didn't know. Odd since she seems to know everyones business. I get the feeling she is a pot-stirrer as I was talking to another girl and Jada came up and asked her about her five kids and walked away. The girl said to me, "I just love it when she puts everyones business out there."
On the other hand, I asked her what the story was with C-Mowes and she said it was the same as Chameleon. Privacy is not much with the bead curtain. Why not just put up a cloth curtain at least.
Anyway, I met a new girl there named Ariel. Black spinner type. Actually really hot, which of late has not been common at C-Mowes. This is just my opinion as tastes vary widely. She said she had just moved from Houston. She was very upfront about the back room. 10 for the room and anything goes. She said 150 for all three holes or 100 for two. I guess you don't get to pick which two. I couldn't figure out how you could pull off greek in that back room. Really thinking hard with the small brain, I got cbj and really athletic rcg in the back room. The odd thing was, as soon as we finished she took off out of there like a shot and disappeard.
The privacy is somewhat better in the corner booth. I don't see how anything other than cg or rcg is possible with those benches and the lack of privacy. I guess with Chameleon gone it has gone from couches to benches. What is next, the floor?

Did they ever get an adult entertainment license? Last I knew they hadn't and that's why the girls didn't or weren't supposed to strip all the way down on stage. The owner was up on federal drug charges, haven't heard how that played out. The city may have pulled the business and liquor license because of that. Maybe the city just decided they didn't need the headache, problems, etc anymore. Supposedly the guys who opened Wise Guys are opening another club in the Cheeks building, C-moes is reopened, maybe WP decided the Chameleon income wasn't worth the hassle.

I was thinking that I was ether going to get ripped off or given a STD. Nether of these things did I want. I looked at the bartender and said can you help me, she said “sorry I can not get involved. The manager was ten feet away and he just looked down at the floor. My glasses cost over 400.00 and I did not want them broken. So I told the dancer that I would give her another 40.00 for my glasses. She said give me the F’n money. I told her that I would hand the money to the bartender and she should hand her my glasses, she agreed. So I handed the bartender 40.00 and she handed it to Leah. Who then told me to give her another twenty for the eyeglasses. I made her give the glasses to the bartender first I then handed the twenty to the bartender and got my glasses. The Asian girl next to the bartender the looked at me and said goodbye and pointed towards the door. I am mad at the dancer and at the PT’s chain because they let this happen.
My Attorney told me that I should take a sworn affidavit to the Illinois state patrol and have charges brought against the dance for Stealing, Assault, and Extortion. Then file charges against the bartender for Extortion. This would also set up a lawsuit against the PT’s chain. I don’t know what I am going to do.
Have heard alot about this new club. Was thinking of making a trip this week and was wondering if this club is worth visiting. What can a guy expect? Any extras available?

Personally Big KC, I would let it go. If you file a law suit you will be lucky if you merely make ONLY the local news. If the news cycle is slow you will almost certainly make national news. That kind of sordid lawsuit will be plastered all over foxnews.com.
Consider it an unfortunately lesson learned.

I've gone to Wise Guys several times now. Great place very friendly people.
Very laid back. Needs better younger girls, but the girls are all really sweet
and management is super friendly.
I would choose this place over Hollywood any day.

I would like to know who is "backing" (funding) three "new" clubs in this area. Nice to know that some people still have money.
Also, does the old Missy Kitty's Two building have a new club in it? I was told by a buddy of mine someone opened a club up in that building as well. I know its a little off the path for the Wash Park fourm, but I am here so I will ask.
I just don't see how the area can really support more clubs especially middle to high level type ones. It is not like there is a huge economic boom going on in St. Louis or the surrounding areas. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.
I don't post here very often but I thought I'd shared a little information that I heard/experienced last night. Especially since I've benefited from the posts of many on this board. I went to CMOWES around 9:30 just to see how it was. The quality of girls isn't that great, I would say in the 5-7 range. There were around 9 girls working. They now come off the stage and dance on your lap, like MKs. First time I went they stayed on stage. I sat at the stage for 5 of the girls, 4 of them did a good job, the other one not so much. Beers are only $4 for a long neck, cheap by strip club standards. All in all not a bad time. It wasn't very crowded either. Now for the good stuff. First of all Jasmine, from Chameleon is at CMOWES now, Jada is as well. I heard that a couple of the other girls are there on day shift but I don't know which ones. Most of the girls will give you extras in the back, but its not guaranteed, may be YMMV. Also, you kind of have to let it happen, don't try and discuss it with them ahead of time, they seem to spook real easy. I stayed over there about 4 hours, I was in a beer drinking mood. Towards the end, once they knew me, things seem to open up some. All that said, the private dance area has no privacy, so if you're shy, don't bother. I also heard that Chameleon is trying to get their liquor license back by the end of the year but may open in the mean time as a juice bar. I asked around a little about Wise Guys down the street, guys and girls were not so impressed, I haven't been in there myself. No one knew about a Cheeks reopening although I have heard that as a rumor. Bar tender told me they (CMOWES) are only charging a cover, $5, on Friday Saturday and Sunday nights so if you want to check it out, during the week might be a good time. Hope some of you find that useful.

Went to CMOWES last night, a short, couldn't be much over 5'2", long straight brunette hair, slender, girl in her late 20s or early 30s is dancing there now. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, sorry guys. She claims to have been from California originally and was working at Chameleon as a bar tender before it got shut down (although I never saw her there, but I also never went during the day). Typically I go to WashPark (Kittys, Dollies) for my xtras, but recently I have been yearning for something fresh or at least different. I never felt too comfortable going the street walking route. I will give Wise Guys a try in a few weeks when I get some time and will report back.

I was through the area a couple of weeks ago. Been through before never paid much attention to the names of the places. Just knew where they were.
Place I always liked was Chameleon, I just knew no cover charge and lots of fun. It was still closed. went to the new place just north of it.
There were about 6 guys there and one gir. Not too cute. I looked around and left. head to the place that is of the beat and path about a half mile to the east.
They had a cover charge. lots of guys and a couple girls. The girls soon vanished and waited around for about a half hour and left. went back to place north of Chameleon club. They now wanted a cover charge was told there were a couple of girls. Did not go in returned to the place out east.
There were now several girls there. They told me it was a shift change. I think it would be good if one batch of girls were ready to come out before the old ones left. First girl i saw on stage gave me a really personal lap dance. Forget her name mid 20's healthy not fat, not thin.
Talked me into a private for 4100 said anything goes if I had protection went to car and got some. This was in a not too private area, but she was real fun. Some always leave early, and some are always late. Sometimes shift changes are great as there are double girls there. Went to Dotties yesterday around 12:15 right after opening, several girls and to my suprise quality was pretty good. Was ignored for the first 30 minuters there and thought about leaving. Any idea what happened? I have long used that place as my reliable back up, and now it's gone. What will I do when yellow fever strikes? I miss the Korean ladies. Got to know a few, and almost always had an enjoyed time.

I noticed late Saturday night, the sign out front was lit up. I haven't seen it on since they shut it down. Does anyone know if it's back in business.
I was in ESL last weekend and decided to poke my head into Blondies. I was not scared off by the drug deal going down in the parking lot and in I went.
The good news is that Mom from Chameleon was there tending bar and more importantly Jaime from Chameleon was there as a barfly, 2 other girls, Chastity and one other light skinned black girl did not reconize either one.
Mom told me she had been running the place for about 3 weeks and she is trying her hardest to improve the place.
They have a stage for the girls to dance, and a private back room. I did not get what the price was.
Now the bad news, the girls have to wear street clothes and no nudity top or bottom. I am sure in the back room this rule is broken. Also it appears they are closed at night!! I drove by at 12:30 am the place was dark.
I only get to go to ESL a few times a year and really enjoyed the old Chameleon the last few times I was in town. I hope some of you locals will check the place out and post what is going on here. Just maybe with a little luck this place can be like Chameleon and C-mowes used to be.
Just be careful this place is in the worst part of Washington Park.

I hit this place last nite about midnite. Not much of a crowd to speak of. Much of the ladies were in the range of a 5 or 6. I had some fun up at the stage from one of them. Got a nice lap dance that lasted the whole song. She wanted 3 songs in the back but I passed. Might try it again in a couple of weeks.
I went to CMOWEs Saturday night, it was pretty dead so I just sat around talking with the dancers, bar tender, and a couple of customers and drinking a few beers. I just wanted to pass on what I heard/saw:
1) CMOWEs is having a lot of turn over with the girls. Got all kinds of reasons which I won't go into because I'm not sure I buy any of them. But the last couple of times I went they didn't charge me a cover, beers are still $4. There were about 3 girls who were decent, most but not all, of the girls will take care of you in the back.
2) There is a new club scheduled to open early next year right across from Wise Guys, about 200 feet north of CMOWEs. There are also plans to open another club next to Hollywood. Supposedly its the same company that opened Wise Guys. I think some or all of that has been mentioned here before.
3) It doesn't currently look good for Chameleon reopening. They were claiming that the previous owners/current owner/some of their associates are all being investigated by the feds for drug trafficing.
4) I haven't gone in Wise Guys but the couple of customers who had been in there, Saturday night before coming to CMOWEs, were not impressed.
I would be interested if anybody has any info on the following:
Has VIP reopened?
Where exactly is Blondies, is it over by Dollies?
Has any one visited City Nights, which I think owned by Miss Kitty's? And how exactly do you get to it? What's the area like that way?
I will pass on, that if you spend an hour or so talking with the girls at CMOWEs and let them get to know you, your trip to the back will be more enjoyable.

Blondies is on the same street as Dollies, Forest Boulevard in Washington Park. Blondies is on the opposite side of the street a little west of Dollies. Take Route 111 (a.k.a. Kingshighway) to reach Forest Blvd. You probably know Forest--it's really close to C-Mowes and the Chameleon Club.
City Nights in East St. Louis is on Mississippi Avenue which is a continuation of 8th Street as you head south. From Broadway, 8th Street runs one-way northward, but south of Broadway, 8th Street is a two-way street you can take to reach City Nights. The club will appear a little before you reach Sauget, Illinois. I've taken this route to get to City Nights, but it's filled with pot holes, and the neighborhood is rough, so drive carefully. You'll see lots of highway overpasses as you get close to the club.
You can also get to City Nights via the Route 3/Cahokia exit from the highway (64/55/70). Turn left on the first street you are able to after exiting the highway. That road will bring you to City Nights. It's very easy to miss this left turn. If you do miss it, back-track. If you reach the Phillips 66 / Oz / Penthouse Club, you've gone too far. Just turn around, drive back, and turn right on the first street you're able to.
I stopped in at City Nights briefly during my last trip to St. Louis.
The club has a huge hot tub--or perhaps it's a small swimming pool--that covers a significant percentage of the floor. I dipped my finger into the water. Man, was it cold!
There were two ladies working the club when I got there at about 4 or 5 PM on a Tuesday or a Wednesday. Both ladies were seated with customers, exchanging pleasantries.
By the way, 8th Street is the street that Kenneth Hall Hospital is on. The way to get to 8th from the northern stroll at 9th and Exchange is to take 9th southward until 9th ends at Broadway (9th makes a T-intersection with Broadway). Turn right on Broadway. The next street will be 8th. You can take it south to City Nights. Remember 8th becomes Mississippi as you drive south.
Believe it or not, I didn't have to review Google Maps to give you those directions :) I've driven those streets so many times over the past year during my 4 trips to St. Louis, I now know them by heart. It's really important to know them well, because you don't want to get lost in such rough neighborhoods, and many, many street signs are missing. The best thing is to visit Maps.Google.Com and explore.

I just checked Google Maps. For some reason, Google Maps currently has the wrong position marked on its map for City Nights. Google is off by 2 miles! [chuckle]. Oh well, Google is right 99 percent of the time.
I guess you could excuse Google since City Nights is so new, but Google has for the past year also mis-marked the location of Pop's Night Club ;)
Thanks for the info Rosco. I know the street you talk off of Rte 3, that might be a little too rough for my tastes. I might have to wait until summer when I can get over there when its still light out. I thought that's where Blondies was, I really don't like driving down forest. The little guy has to get really restless to get me to do that.
I do think that CMOWEs is getting a little bit of a bad rap. People want it to be exactly the way it was before or to be like Chameleon was next door and it just isn't. However, if you're willing to spend a little time talking to a couple of girls, sit at a few stages, a have a couple of drinks you can have a really good time.
I will try Wise Guys next time and report back. Hopefully I'll get there latter this week, otherwise it might be a few weeks before I can get free.

Only been there during the day and the mileage is pretty low. There's always the potential for take-out, but that can be prohibitively high, I've noticed.
Dollies is the other place I frequent. I don't see the incentive for extras. Everything is so open in the "private" area, I'd be afraid some weirdo might be staring at my johnson from the stage area. Plus, a lot of upsell from chicks who should feel lucky to make $100 bucks a day, let alone for a rushed, uninspired dolphin flogging.
Miss Kitty's has always been one of those places where very limited action can happen. That old bartender can see from almost everywhere in the private area, and always hangs out at the north end of that bar. Still, decent looking chicks.
I am intrigued by the report on Blondie's. Might have to go check it out. Sounds like another Chameleon Club situation. Nothing going on up front, but lots of action in the back room. Always been a fan of the back room.

An overnight fire destroyed a nightclub in Washington Park.
The fire broke out about 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chameleon Club, 2013 Kingshighway. No one was injured; the club was out of business and vacant.
Fire was raging in the rear of the building when firefighters arrived. It took crews about 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
I guess this answers our questions as to was it going to reopen or not

I drove by the club this morning. The front of the building is mostly still standing, but you can see the building is absolutely gutted. There were police cars and fire marshals parked over next to and infront od C-Mowes.
They will not be reopening anytime soon. Even with new owners.

Went to Blondie's today. Two girls and the older bartender lady from Chameleon. One of the dancer's was from Chameleon's, too. She was the short, unattractive lady with no shape and little cans. The fire at the Chameleon Club does sound pretty suspicious. It is a shame that it is gone. Had some very fun times in there and I'm not even talking about the backroom. The Chameleon and the old C-Mowes could be fun places to just hang out and have a few beers.
I wouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions about the fire. Wasn't the owner still running the towing business out of the back of the club? I know after the club first shut down, I saw the tow truck in the back. It could just possible be one of those things, a carelessly disposed cigarette or a oily rag or two left laying in the wrong place.

Speaking of Wise Guys, I've recently read that the owner has once again prevailed in his lawsuit against Washington Park. WP had passed an ordinance limiting the number of clubs able to serve liquor. This conflict between Joelner and WP started back in 2003 or earlier.

Joelner v. Village of Washington Park, Nos. 06-2901 & 06-3252 (7th Cir. Nov. 19, 2007).
OVERVIEW: The village’s newly enacted ordinance, which banned the sale or consumption of alcohol in newly licensed adult cabarets while continuing to allow the sale and consumption of alcohol in places already licensed as adult cabarets, was facially unconstitutional because the sole purpose of the ordinance was to stifle competition.
SUMMARY: The plaintiff, a business owner who unsuccessfully applied for a license to operate an adult cabaret located in the village, filed an action against the village challenging its newly enacted ordinance regulating adult entertainment venues, and the village’s denial of his application for a cabaret license. The new ordinance was purportedly intended “to establish reasonable and uniform regulations to prevent the deleterious secondary effects of sexually oriented businesses.” However, the ordinance lifted the previous numerical limit on licenses for adult entertainment venues, expanded the permissible hours of operation, and allowed for partial nudity and certain sexual activities. Most notably, though, the new ordinance banned the on-site sale or consumption of alcohol except in places already licensed as adult cabarets under the prior ordinance. The trial court declared the alcohol ban in the ordinance and the village’s denial of plaintiff’s license unconstitutional because the village produced no evidence to show that the ordinance was to combat the secondary effects of combining alcohol with adult entertainment. In addition, the trial court believed that the ordinance was designed only to prevent the plaintiff from competing in the adult entertainment market and to stifle competition with the current license holders. Therefore, the trial court ordered the village to grant the plaintiff a cabaret license and allow him to conduct business as do the other cabarets in the village. The village appealed.
On appeal, the appeals court applied the strict scrutiny standard to review the village’s ordinance to determine its constitutionality because the appeals court determined that the ordinance was not aimed at curbing the negative secondary effects of adult cabarets. The ordinance was obviously designed to prevent the plaintiff from competing in the local adult entertainment market because, without contradiction, the ordinance affected only the plaintiff as the sole applicant for a license under the new ordinance. Because of the ordinance’s anti-competitive purpose, the appeals court ruled that it was facially unconstitutional because the ban on alcohol sales or consumption in newly licensed establishments was not necessary to serve a compelling governmental interest and narrowly drawn to reach that end. Therefore, the appeals court affirmed the decision of the trial court.

Jannisary, I wish I could say the name of the club, but I already let slip in my last post that the lady got totally nude for me. You've said in the past that totally nude lap dances are forbidden in East St. Louis, so I can't say the club's name now.

Actually while looking into the lawsuit I mention in my previous post, I found out that in WP its illegal for the dancers to get totally nude. The WP clubs are supposed to be topless only according the latest version of their adult entertainment ordinance. The court took the fact that this part of the ordinance wasn't enforced into consideration when it ruled in Joelner's favor. Basically the court believed Joulner's argument that the non-enforcement of the topless only rule showed the main concern of the village ordinance was to stifle competition and not regulate adult entertainment.
I've only gotten a partial lap dance by a totally nude dancer anywhere in the metro-east. That was at the Hollywood and she was new - her first night at the club. She told me at her old club - don't remember her former city- the dances were totally nude. Anyway, I told her she might want to put her bottoms back on and just about the time she climbed off me and picked up her g-string the manager sticks his head into the room. Tracfone! Or one of the other pre-paid cellphones are the way to go. If you start giving out your phone number it does help in all avenues of mongering or even just strip clubbing but you also get some strange unexpected calls. If I don't recognize the number I just let it go to voicemail. After sharing my number with one sw gal, I've been getting strange text messages and not from the number she had given me. The general rule is to never give out your regular cell number, always use a disposable pre-paid phone and minute cards that you've paid for in cash. If you really want to be safe or paranoid depending on viewpoint, don't use your own or any landline connected to you to activate the prepaid phone.
But...I've shared my regular cell number with a few dancers before. Of course I'm single and unattached and it was after being pretty sure of the gal. For me their calls are a pleasant surprise.

Last week on Thursday night (the 20th), I went to Hustler's during the night shift, and got a fabulous bed dance from Tera / Tara. She is one hot lady, very nice person, too. If you start giving out your phone number it does help in all avenues of mongering or even just strip clubbing but you also get some strange unexpected calls. If I don't recognize the number I just let it go to voicemail. After sharing my number with one sw gal, I've been getting strange text messages and not from the number she had given me. The general rule is to never give out your regular cell number, always use a disposable pre-paid phone and minute cards that you've paid for in cash. If you really want to be safe or paranoid depending on viewpoint, don't use your own or any landline connected to you to activate the prepaid phone.

According to the .pdf file supplied by Local Hick, the old Washington Park ordinance from 2005 was overturned last month by the Circuit Court of Appeals as being unconstitutional because it selectively denied an alcohol license to Mr. Joelner in order to prevent Joelner, the "new guy," from competing with existing strip club owners. The existing owners were receiving special, favorable treatment. Why should they be allowed to serve alcohol, but not Joelner. The judges also noted that one of the existing owners is the son of Washington Park's former police chief.
So does anybody know: is Joelner opening any clubs soon in Washington Park?

Rosco, the Wise Guys Club is at the location of Joelner's adult bookstore. Don't know if he actually owns the club or is just leasing the building to the someone else. Supposedly the Wise Guys owners are planning on opening two more clubs, one on the other side of Kingshighway and another on Bunkum Road. When I wrote that bottomless private dances might be considered prostitution I was going on information supplied to me by several dancers in Brooklyn and Washington Park back when I started spending time in the clubs which was several years ago now..3?..4?...lol. Multiple dancers in multiple clubs with the same story, but things do change.
Of course clubs have been known to be a little misleading in their advertising also. As of October 2007, a dancer I know who worked at Hustler reported that only topless dances were allowed. I guess I have a different opinion of services available and bang for the buck in this area.

This is pretty common place at the Colony Theater in WashPark and the Olde Un in Columbia Mo. At least at the Colony you get women in there that will either do a BBBJ or fuck you. The Olde Un women playing in the theater are far and few between.

It was my understanding that the girls got half of the charged rate for the room. I paid 2 they got 1. You can get bbbj for just the price of the room, but most of the time they will hit you up for more. I would keep my one's and five's in one pocket and the rest of my money in the other. I would then hand them the wad of one's and five's (about 15 to 25 bucks) and say "this is all I have left, but I will give you my last dollar, because you are worth it". Before you go to the back, some of the girls will make you think that you are going to get FS, but when you are in the back and you are ready to do it she will come up with a reason, why you can't do it. No condom is the most common reason. If you want CFS make sure you bring a condom and that you set the prce before you go to the VIP room. Police have identified a body found Sunday in the 4800 block of Lincoln Avenue as that of a 24-year-old Belleville man.
John Henry Scott Odell, 24, a white male, had been shot several times in the head and neck. Odell's body was located in a ditch across the street from an abandoned vehicle that was parked on Lincoln Avenue, Illinois State Police Sgt. Dave Wasmuth said.
The vehicle that the victim's body was found near is a 1995 champagne-colored Mercury. It had Missouri temporary license plates on it.
Wasmuth said Sunday police did not have any suspects identified or a motive for the shooting.
The area where the body was found is remote and has been known as a high-crime area, Wasmuth said. He said police did not know how long the body had been in the ditch.
The body was discovered by neighborhood children who were walking down the street, Wasmuth said.
He did not say whether police recovered a weapon.
Police asked that anyone with information call Illinois State Police Special Agent Kelly Cullen at 346-3768.

"Police found the body of a black man in the street behind Blackmon's [night club] in the 100 block of Collinsville Avenue shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday. The body was found about 150 feet from the parking lot of the police department. [This is the police station between 3rd Street and Collinsville Avenue, near Broadway. It's very close to that Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store called Riverpark 66.]
The victim, who appeared to be in his early 30s, was shot several times. Baxton said police believe the victim had been a patron at Blackmon's Plaza, a nightclub, before the shooting.
East St. Louis Police Chief Michael Baxton said police have not identified any suspects and have no motive for the killing. He said police learned about the homicide at 4:18 a.m.
The man, from Granite City, was the city's 31st homicide victim of the year."

Two weeks ago when I was in town, I saw Jada (formerly of Chameleon's) at City Nights around 5:15 PM Thursday. A month before that, I saw her at Miss Kitty's during the day shift.
Also saw Chastity (another former Chameleon lady) at Blondies during the second shift. Rachel's mom was at Blondie's, too. She said Rachel isn't currently dancing anywhere.
As I was leaving Blondies around 4:45 PM, I happened to see that Tory popped on over to Blondie's after her shift ended at Dollie's. She went into Blondie's to apply. Her more conservative-looking female friend drove her to Blondie's from Dollies across the street and was waiting for Tory outside in a mini-van. The friend probably was not a dancer, but I wonder if I could have talked the two ladies into a threesome? Hemminghaus, who used the nickname "Dr. Loan," was angry because the mistress
had called his wife from her job at a Washington Park strip club called
"Dollie's," according to the original criminal complaint.
The employee went to the FBI, whose agents got Hemminghaus on tape discussing
the murder. They also obtained the girlfriend's cooperation last March 5, the
day she was supposed to be killed.
She turned over personal items, and some DVDs she'd gotten that day from his
pawn shop. The employee then gave the items to Hemminghaus. Officials said
Hemminghaus paid $200 and promised the rest when he got the hand.
Hemminghaus was arrested as he burned his girlfriend's purse behind his shop.
By the way, that fatal shooting on Sunday near the police station is less than a block away from that Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store called Riverpark 66.
I'm sure many of us have gotten gasoline at that station on Broadway/Riverpark, which is close to the Eads Bridge and Casino Queen.
Yeah, know where that gas station is for sure, but most don't get gas there. It's always 5-10 cents/gallon higher on Illinois side due to taxes, perahps more.

Again, please understand that I am new and am certainly not trying to tell you how to run your board - a board which I think is excellent. I don't have a solution regarding how to pass on the info we all want through this board, but some of you smarter than I folks can figure it out. I know that initially I am screwing myself because I'm not senior and likely no one will PM me with the actual info I seek; strip establishment names, girls names, costs, etc. but in the long run maybe the vegas posters advice will be good for everyone. Frankly, I used the info I found here yesterday and got incredible service yesterday at an incredibly low price - service and pricing I had no idea was available in St. Louis. For now anyways, Washington Park is just different. It's crazy but that is just the way it is. Part of its economics, local politics, and probably corruption too. It is highly doubtful that we will post anything on this board that the local LE and politicos don't already know.
I see two levels of clubs in the metro-east area. There are the legit clubs. Those would be any of the PT's, Roxy's, Penthouse, Hustler, and Hollywood Showclub. Then there are the other clubs such as C-Mowes, Chameleon (too bad its burnt), Blondies, Soft Touch, and Dollies. I guess there are also some inbetween clubs like Miss Kitty's, Crystal Palace, Wise Guys, Bottom's Up, and Pink Slip. Openly sharing information about the non-legit clubs probably isn't going hurt anything or anybody. BUT PLEASE DON'T post specific dancer information from the "legit club". I believe that is best kept as private as possible. The people running Blondies or Dollies aren't going to give a fuck if a dancer is doing bj's or fs or whatever but the people running PT's, Hustler, etc do.
Another reason I don't believe its a good idea to post specific dancer information from the legit clubs is that in most cases its a highly YMMV situation. If I posted that dancer A at PT's did x,y,AND z to me for $$, that doesn't mean she'll automatically be willing to do the same for some other guy who reads about it here and decides to look her up. Also just because Dancer B fingered fucked herself millimeters from my nose and mouth and then guided my own fingers into her very wet vagina at the Hollywood doesn't mean she'll do that for everyone, heck that was 3 months ago and she hasn't done it again for me! lol.

This is a figment of my imagination to be used for entertainment purposes.
Called one of the ladies who gave me her phone # a week prior. Scroll back and read my last review. I had tentative plans to be with her for a minute and head off to a casino. She looked fine in her street clothes--I immediately pictured her up on the stage dancing. She asked what to do, and I muttered something about getting a drink first. She said great--I asked her where she'd like to go. She pointed and I drove. We talked--she's cool and not on drugs execpt for a blunt avery now and then.
We get to one of those clubs that has a store connected to it, and she says that she buys her outfits there. I suggest we stop there, browse, and have some drinks.
Gentlemen, if you glean nothing from this report, remember this: some of these ladies--probably more than we care to admit--can really make you feel like the stud of the month if you treat them like they are your lady. Can you see me in the club with a nice looking dancer in her regular clothes, her arm in mine? And both of us going up and tipping the entertainment? Felt like a playboy in that place. The single guys looking at me like I got something they don't, the few other couples too shy to do anything but sit there and grin. Damn, it was great. We left after she was loosened up. Got a room and to business. I had her give a striptease and move to a lapdance just like the club. But the only difference is that I wasn't restricted. Could someone give more information about where in Brooklyn the new club is located? Rosco, it could just be that they aren't ready to open yet. Bottom's Up had their sign up and building all painted for quite awhile before it actually opened up for business.

Jannisary, the Peek-A-Boo club is located across the street from the Pink Slip and S&L Rub, if I remember right. It's easy to spot.
For those who may not know, the Pink Slip and Bottoms Up are the 2 black clubs in Brooklyn. By black clubs, we mean the dancers are black. The customers are all colors.
There was a dancer a few years ago at Platinum named Skylar. Low to mid 30's, petite, brunette, good looking, usually wore a black cowboy hat. I moved out of the area and heard she was working at Miss Kitty's under the name Catherine. Can anyone confirm or refute?

I made another visit last night to the Centreville area to see if VIP was open back up yet. It's not open yet. The guy in the silver truck said it would be reopen in February.
A word of caution to my fellow visitors to the Centreville tourist attractions....when visiting VIP, DO NOT venture into the parking lot over to the side of the VIP driveway. I went up into that parking lot, more or less out of curiosity, and was greeted by the guy in the silver truck, with a shotgun stuck in my face. Once I answered a few questions he relaxed and answered my questions about VIP. Maybe he was having a bad night, but I wouldn't risk that again. He came from NOWHERE and scared the SHIT out of me.
Just looked at the Brooklyn thread and saw that most of the club reports go here. I know I always check both on the site, and I'm assuming most of you guys do to.
The door to the Peek-A-Boo was locked at 10:30pm. I've never seen any traffic/parked cars there in the last couple months. Sorry, but I forgot to ask the doorman at Bottoms if the Peek was even open at all. It sure don't look like it. There's cardboard over the door, but looks like some lights on like someone's possible doing some work in there.
The smoking ban has hit the clubs hard. You can stand outside and b.s. with guys you probably wouldn't b.s. to otherwise, so I guess that's a good thing. Guys are guys, and smokers freezing their asses off share a common bond.
I stayed for a 1.5 hours. Way more dancers than guys. Got semi-private dance from 7face 10body (I kid you not) 7attitude at standard .25/dance--YMMV. She had all the right whispers going while grinding reverse cowgirl. In the middle she commented about me, and I let the tip pop out. She reached around, sheilding me from whoever might walk in, and offered hj. I asked for more, but she said that with so few people in the club it was easy to get into trouble. In fact some arse did check up on us.
I've been practicing various techniques with the money in my pocket. I usually take the entire wad, fold it in half, rubber the middle, and stuff it in my side pocket. But I found that when payday is due I'm exposing how much money I have. So now I fold each .2 from one corner diagonally down, and then fold the bill in half. I can then quickly count the money in my hand while it's still in the pocket.
But last night I took out the entire wad to let her know I had a rubber. She commented on it, and I said I am always prepared when I mean business. This started off a conversation about meeting outside sometime. Got her digits. Only had two dances and tipped an extra .1. Had a tough time walking out without looking stiff-legged. Ok, so the next day I call the dancer from the club. She's up to meet. We pick out a public place in the early afternoon to meet and go from there. I think I mentioned in the last post that this lady is hot hot hot. Young and hot. And the "young" label immediately signals apprehension on my part.
So on my way to the place I call to make sure she's still on schedule. She tells me about some major crisis going on that will require money to straighten out. More red flags. She says she's going to meet me like we arranged. I get there and wait. And wait. And wait. She's twenty minutes late and calls me, saying she is waiting for her ride. I thought she had her own car, but she said she let her friend use it to pay some bills. She says she'll only be ten more minutes. Eleven minutes later I use one of my other numbers; twelve minutes later I have a different date; fifteen minutes later the crisis lady calls and is upset that I wouldn't wait for her.
I'm not sure if that bridge is burned, but from my experience I've learned that the young ones are still learning the game and think that every guy out there is a sucker. "My baby needs diapers. " "It's my sister's birthday tomorrow, and I don't have anything to give her. " "Ameren made a mistake on my billing and is going to turn my shit off on two days. " etc etc. It's generally best to walk, because if you do end up spending more than you intended, she'll expect the same amount or more the next time. I think the thing that gave her away on this incident is her sudden change in tone. At the first phone call she was all giggly and happy, and the call from the road she seemed rushed and enmergency-like.
So I did end up spending the better part of the afternoon with a dancer in her "regular" personality. We ate at a restaurant and bullshitted about other dancers and the guys that come to the club--LOL. Like our first date, I felt like a king with a sexy confident woman on my arm. Turns out she's got a kinky side too, and she called a friend and made a date for us three. (boiiiiiingggg) We got a room around six for a couple hours and did the exchange. Well worth it.

Driver said take your pick of us. I said your two friends look pretty young. They all denied they were under age. The one brunette said she had four kids. She looked every day of 17.
The driver says what do you like baby? Do you like blow jobs? Sure, who doesn’t I said. She said I can give you the best BJ. (BTW. I never hear a woman say this outside, away from a strip club for some reason? ) I said how much? She said $30? I asked where would this happen? She said she had a place down the street that HUD just took over, it was real clean and safe. Something told me to resist this offer. Asked her if she would be around for a while, maybe an hour. (I wanted to check out Blondies down the street.) I told her maybe later if she was still around. She said she didn’t know if she would stay around, but would I give her a couple of bucks for gas? She was nearly out. Said the brunette in the middle would go with me and give a couple of quick licks. Now, I am really thinking I should move on. Reached in my pocket and gave her a fiver and told her if she was around in an hour I would find her.
Drove to Blondies’ and went inside quick. Never saw them after coming out.
I don’t know if I was too careful or if I passed up my first potential four way. My dark side is telling me to go back. My back side is saying prison sucks, literally!
Anyone else run into this situation? Are cues I could have looked for to sense whether this was an invitation to robbery/jail or worse?

Text: Could Someone Be Targeting Men At Downtown Nightclubs?
There are fears criminals may be targeting young men at St. Louis area night clubs. One of those men, Scott O'Dell, 24, of Shiloh, IL, was murdered.His family believes he was set up to be robbed, only to end up dying.
O'Dell's brother, Shane, believes a woman is luring young men as part of the scheme. Scott O'Dell left the Dolce night club in downtown St. Louis with a woman. O'Dell was there with his brother for a night out. Scott O'Dell ended up getting robbed and killed.
"Just having fun with your brother, yeah, just going out together," said Shane O'Dell. "Then he's gone, you know, forever. It's tough."
Two days after Scott O'Dell left that night club, neighborhood kids found his car in Washington Park ; his body in a nearby ditch; shot gun wounds to his face and neck.
"The violence, the horrible violence of it, knowing my son was shot in his very handsome face and neck," said his mother, Patricia Dahlen. "Horrible, so horrible. I don't like violence," she said, breaking down into tears.
In the past year and a half, Scott O'Dell had gotten his life together; getting baptized at the Glad Tidings Church in Swansea ; ready to start a new job as union carpenter, framing houses for McBride and Sons Homebuilders. His stereo, his new carpenter's belt and tools were stolen from his car.
After Scott's death, another man came forward, saying he left an Illinois night club with a woman two days earlier; the woman setting him up to be robbed; not far from where O'Dell's body was found; the suspects using a shot-gun.
Jannisary, the Scott O'Dell mentioned in your Fox News piece is the same man I wrote about 2 weeks ago whose body was found on Lincoln Avenue in Washington Park. I mentioned to Lark's Tongue to stay alert because Odell's body was found really close to The Colony Theater--one block south and 2 blocks east.

When in doubt, don't. You describe the easiest, safest pickup in the world to me, but if I got there and I had any weird feelings about it, I'd pass.
When I was young to the game in another place, a sw did the classic "mouth to johnny, hand in the console" trick and stole my cellphone. I spent three hours paying people who claimed to be able to get my phone back. I had hood boys in my car for a half hour. I could've gotten rolled so easy. But I was not thinking straigght. I finally found her and ended up begging her for it. THat night alone cost me over $$, and I went home with a pole. Damn, I was so young and so stupid, but so lucky at the same time.
Then there was a night (in another town) that I lucked out by talking to a sw outside my hotel when her friends pulled up. The first sw was pretty cool, and her friends sat there and we b.s.'ed for a while. Everything felt ok, and I ended up with all three. That night cost was under $$, and there wasn't no pole when I fell asleep.
So trust your gut and use your brains. I think you played that one like a pro.
I had never ventured to Washington Park before, but I was in the area this evening decided to check out the clubs. It was definitely a slow night across the board. Here is what I saw:
Blondies - There was one other customer in Blondies the entire time I was there. There were no girls dancing on stage and only a couple of girls in the club. The bartender told me they are usually busier. I talked to a woman who worked at another club and bought her a beer. She asked me if I wanted to go private. We did not even discuss money, because I wanted to see what the other clubs had to offer.
I stopped in a couple of other clubs and they were pretty dead so I made my final stop at C-MOWES. C-MOWES DEFINITELY had the best looking women, the most customers and the most girls working. I bought a girl a beer and she told me that lap dances are .25, private for a half hour is $$ and an hour is $$$. She was good looking, but her price was so far off from what I was willing to pay (more in the $-$.4 range) I didn't even try to negotiate. She didn't even mention if extras were included in the price.
On another note, the price of drinks are not terribly bad. $4 seems like the standard price for a beer at all of the bars. Anyway, I left slightly disappointed but I was happy to have seen the clubs. The next time I am in the area I am going to get a motel room, take a cab and spend some more time. Tonight I got a little bit worried about drinking and driving, so I didn't stay out as long as I would have liked to.
a police sting is a possibility. the police do not have to tell the truth, so "i'm not a cop..." doesn't mean much.
**** is a risky spot too. even if she shows you an id, if it is a fake, you are looking at serious problems.

The first east side strip club I went to was the Rose right at I-64 and route 3. It was in ESL. There was a robbery/murder in their parking lot and the club lost business and closed about six months after the shooting. I remember the post-disgrace running a full page interview with the pastor of the church across the street from the Rose. The pastor claimed his congregation's 24 hour pray vigil closed the club. The prayer vigil had been praying for the Rose to close 24/7 for three and a half years.

Then 2 days later, she lured Scott from a Missouri club in downtown St. Louis called Dolce. The robbing gang let the first guy go (told him to run), but killed Scott with shotgun blasts to the head. Visited Wiseguy’s in WP. Went there about 1:00 pm. Three dancers, I was the third customer. Dancer on stage was nice looking, with long curly strawberry blonde hair, emphasis on the strawberry. I did not stop at Hollywood. I stopped at three clubs: Blondies, C-MOWES and Wiseguys. All of the ladies and bartenders in each of the clubs were really cool and talkative. I only spent an hour out, because I didn't want to drive intoxicated, so I only stayed for a few beers.
Each club was reasonably priced, $4 for beers and each club had very friendly women. There were no 10s, but there were a few women that were higher up on the scale 7-8, and some that were lower 3-6. There was a nice distribution. In total, there were about 15 girls between the three clubs.

A piece of advise for everyone. If someone is targeting men at local clubs, don't leave with them. Once they take you to their house, you are dead. If you know who they are or where they live, you can turn them in. If they let you know anything personal, that means they are intending to kill you. If you get a gun pulled on you outside a club, make a run for it, once you get in a car you are done. Make sure you never leave with them. Don't hassle them, if they want your wallet or cash, let them have it. It isn't worth dying over, but no matter what, never leave with someone who is robbing you. Good luck and stay safe.
My only experience with the Econo Inn has been of the hourly variety. I think I described over on the Brooklyn forum. The rooms are decent, clean, and use the card type of keys and have deadbolts. The parking lot was decently lit. The lobby stunk like someone had puked in it and it hadn't been cleaned up good enough.
For an overnight it might be safer to get a room in Collinsville or Fairview Heights. I'm not sure about the availability of cabs though. I think another member posted asking about cabs a couple years ago. Probably best to call the cab companies.
Jannisary is probably right that you might want a room out side of Washington Park. You might be able to make a deal with a cabbie, that he drop you off at a club, then come back in an hour or two and take you to the next club. Tell the cabbie you'll spot him a good tip at the end, because it will not cost much jumping from club to club, since the are close together.

Instead of asking what you'll get, tell them what you want. You don't have to be crass about it--"I wanna HJ" or "I want you to. ". Phrase it something like, "Well, I'm really shopping/waiting/looking for a nice. ". And then let her confirm it. And if she's vague about the tip, tell her how much you have. Let her confirm that also. If there's any amount of "trust me" involved, you're getting played. If you can get it all into one sentence: "OK then, I'll give you _____ for a. , " and she says "yes, " then you're off with your lady.

This is the best advice you could receive on this one.
Anytime someone starts asking what you want from outside the car, getting specific with what they will do, and quoting prices - it's done - don't do it. Even for the best looking girl you've seen.
No one has mentioned that the classic rule is not to pull around a corner to meet someone after negotiating a deal outside the car. That's the classic trap - either for cops or for nasty people who want your car, money, and to end your life.

According to the info at tuscl.com , the age of admittance at Roxy's is 21. The web site shows 21 for almost all the clubs. Crystal Palace in Centreville is an exception at 18.
However, I'm thinking the Tuscl.com site must be wrong, because when I entered PT's Brooklyn across the street, the guy carded me. Once he confirmed my age, he wrapped a drinking ribbon around my wrist, so I'm guessing they must allow 18+ customers into the club. I guess the tuscl.com info needs updating.

However last year the new governor in Iowa kept a campaign promise to raise cigarette taxes. They are no more in Iowa than hey are in Illinois. I recalling seeing a news story on Tv of people complaining saying they voted for the guy but did not think he would keep his promise to raise taxes. So olks in the Quad Cities now make an effort to buy gas and general merchandise in Iowa and cigarettes, pop and beer in Illinois. Due to taxes and can deposits.

LowRad, when I was in town last week, I stayed at that hotel across from Miss Kitty's. I'm not surprised that there are some funny, unusual things happening at the house just west of the hotel, because just as I was about to get some sleep at 1 AM, I noticed a whole lot of smoke coming from an area just west and north of the hotel. **A whole, whole lot of smoke.** Guests in the hotel were concerned. We could all smell a lot of burning in addition to the smoke. The firefighters were called out. Never a dull moment in Washington Park.
By the way, that hotel, the newly renovated Econo Inn, is a good place to bring a street walker or escort, because there are locked metal security doors that lead to each hallway and prevent entry by intruders. You need to insert a special card into the hall door's card reader to get into the hallway.
And it's a thick metal door. You gonna need a heavy battering ram to break through that door! ;)
Less worry about pimps and robbing boyfriends this way (folks who may have followed you to the hotel after picking up the lady).
Another great thing about the Econo Inn across from Miss Kitty's is each hallway (the top-floor hallway, the bottom floor hallway, and a third hallway) requires its own special card. So somebody staying in a room on the bottom floor can't access the top floor hallway. His card only works to unlock the bottom hallway's door.
I almost hate giving out this information. I don't want to miss out on a room there because one of you other wankers rented it out before me :)
One final amazing thing I noticed about this hotel is *every* door is made of strong metal, even the bathroom doors! I guess this makes'em harder to burn down.

Did you hear about Friday's shooting and robbery of a 20-year-old that happened in the Yorktown Apartment Complex, in Shiloh, Illinois? He was shot when he refused to give up money to 2 robbers who were driven by a woman in an old Chrysler. I don't think the victim was trying to pick up any ladies in Shiloh because, if you look at the annual income and household value figures at CITY-DATA.COM , Shiloh (near O'Fallon, Illinois) is an up-scale community.

Man shot during robbery in Shiloh undergoes surgery

Police Chief Jim Stover said his detectives had hoped Saturday night to interview the victim of an attempted murder and robbery when the victim was scheduled to come out of surgery after being shot multiple times.
Broderick Watson, 20, gave a "very limited statement, given his condition," after he was shot about 9:30 p.m. Friday by two men who demanded his money and when he refused, shot him several times, Stover said.
While Watson lay on the ground in the 200 block of Anderson Lane in Shiloh, he was shot "several more times by the suspect," and robbed of an undetermined amount, according to a news release from the Shiloh Police Department.
"Hopefully we'll get an opportunity talk to him this evening. I believe he was going to go through some surgeries today," Stover said Saturday afternoon.
Watson, of Agnes Drive in Cahokia, was in serious condition Saturday at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Stover said.
The suspects are identified as black males in their early 20s, wearing dark colored hooded sweat shirts. They were last seen in a white, two-door or four-door 1996 Chrysler, driven by a woman.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Shiloh Police Department at 632-9047.

An interesting sidenote is Scott O'Dell/Odell lived in Shiloh, where Broderick Watson was just shot and robbed. O'Dell's shot-gunned body was found in a ditch in Washington Park on December 30th after he was lured by a woman from a downtown St. Louis club. That was only 6 weeks ago. Thank God, Journey was at City Nights, or else it would have been awkward having them both there. My opinion is that a HJ is available in most any club with the right situation and the right girl. That situation may be rare, and the right girl may be the one you never picked, but the chance is there.
For the nastiest dances with a chance for extras you just need to avoid the big name "bachelor party" clubs and focus on the smaller local joints. In Kansas City, avoid Bazooka's Showgirls in favor of Temptations. Head out to Olathe or Lawrence you will get more mileage.
Nothing like St. Louis though. Sometimes I wish I lived closer, but that just means I'd be broker.

Saturday evening I made my 1st trip to the Brooklyn clubs. About 5:30 I wandered into Rosco's. More dancers than customers. I like that they kept 2 stages open - gives one a choice. After finishing my beer (I'm a slow drinker), I took my ticket over to PT Brooklyn for free entry. Better looking girls, and I REALLY liked the way Jezzell greated me during her stage dance. I'll tip $1 if the girl stays up on the stage and doesn't interact with me at all. Usually that's only when there are a lot of guys at the stage -- especially at Hollywood or PTs.
If she stays up on the stage but allows me a touch or two, she'll get $2.
If she comes down from the stage to my lap, she gets at least $3. I'll give more if it is extra nasty, especially if it is a whole song. Last week there was a girl who sat in my lap for her whole set -- it was better than in most VIP rooms across the country. When I tipped her $20 I thought it was quite a bargain but she offered me change (I told her to keep it). In lots of clubs, those dances would have been $100.

As a suggestion on how to get the girls to come to you, this is how I do it.
Ignore them entirely! They hate that! Sit at the bar and tip the bar tender big on the first drink and tell her to check up on you every once in awhile. This works best if its a female bartender and a big tip for the bartender at a strip joint is 4 or 5 bucks. You'd be surprised how many times they don't get tipped at all. The word will get around and all the girls will come by.
Now if you have self control, turn down the first couple. That way the one you choose feels special. Just pick one for the night. Then the next time, she'll come right to you. Shedding her on future trips so that you can sample something else is the subject of a different post. But getting in good with one girl at the club should be your first goal. You can find out everything about all the other girls that way.

Visited Wise Guys and C-Mowe's today.
Cara (Kara?), formerly Care Bear at Chameleon, is working at Wise Guys. Russell Hollis, Jr., 28, of Belleville, was shot and killed by an unknown assailant early Sunday morning.
Brooklyn Police Chief Delbert Marion was joined by the Illinois State police and their crime scene technician in the investigation into Hollis' shooting death, which occurred shortly after 5 a.m.
Marion said Brooklyn police received a call reporting shots were fired at 5:12 a.m. at Fourth street and Jefferson Avenue.
"When the officers reached 409 Jefferson, they spotted a maroon Chevrolet with its driver door open. As they got closer, they determined that a male driver in the front seat had been shot and appeared lifeless," Marion said.
The St. Clair County Coroner's office was called to the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Marion said.
Police have no suspects or a motive, Marion said, and he said police are in the preliminary stages of their investigation.
"We do not know where the victim was coming from or what the motive was for the murder," he said.
Police spent several hours in the area trying to locate potential witnesses, but by late morning, Marion said, police had not located anyone.
The State Police will take over the investigation, Maryon said.
"We hope the public who may have seen, heard, or knows anything about this homicide will call the Brooklyn Police Department or Illinois State Police with information that will bring closure for the victim's family," Marion said.
Anyone with any information about this homicide is urged to call the Brooklyn Police department at 874-8204, Illinois State Police 346-3990 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-371 TIPS. (Calls to this number can be anonymous and any information received that leads to an arrest an conviction gets the caller up to $1,000).

Here's an update on the homicide that happened about a block away from Roxy's. The paper provided more pertinent info today.
1) "Hollis had borrowed the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu from a family member."
2) An Illinois State Police Sergeant said police officers with the Brooklyn Police Department were responding to a disturbance at the nearby Pink Slip strip club when they heard shots around the corner. The officers discovered Hollis' body and then blanketed the area in a search for a suspect, Wasmuth said.
3) "The state police have a general description of a suspect and have ruled out theft as a motive for the killing," the sergeant said.

I have not been to W-Park for years and just wanted to get an update on conditions. I am planning a trip to Roxy's later in the week.

I haven't been there in a while, but here's how it used to work:
The booths have two sections, one with a chair/couch for you, and one across with a chair/couch for the girl. There is no glass between, but they have infrared alarms that keep you from touching the girl (or her you). I can't help you on prices, unfortunately.

I have been in the booths with my g/f. There is enough room for 3 people in the booths as well as the theater could work for an enterprising person. $5 to get into the back area as well as monies for the booths. The theater was charging $1 to get in last I checked.

Spent a couple of hours in Roxy's this afternoon. About 8 dancers working with an equal number of customers. Got plenty of stage time and a very satisfying private before calling it a day.
