I come to Hilton Head periodically, and I stopped checking this board long ago because there simply wasn't anything to be had. (I popped in here because I saw a recent post.) I've never seen or heard of any SWs on HHI. I don't travel too far off the island, so I don't know about Beaufort or Hardeeville, etc. There was one escort who worked this area - you can RTF to find out about her - but that's always been more than I wanted to spend. I've been to HHI for a couple of conferences and basically it is a BYOP from what I have seen. A good percentage of the more upscale hotels are inside gated communities. You have to be on the reservation list at the gate to get in or have a pass.
The island has some really strict zoning laws and you'll see very few businesses with direct access to a road. Many are hidden behind walls of shrubs. Can't see them surly couldn't see a lady and one on the street would attract the local boys in blue very quickly.
As to what is available off the island, that I cannot say. The area is less upscale than the island itself, but there just does not seem to be the layout one would expect to find for good mongering. Maybe closer to Paris Island, but I won't comment. Have not been to that area at all.
