The majority of people pay little to nothing in terms of income tax, even in a philosophical sense they won't be paying it back. Having just paid my quarterlies, I am a little bitter about my position in this ponzi scheme.

Are there any reputable providers anymore? I see myself as a fair and down to earth guy but anytime I contact a provider I get cricket's then like 2 -5 hours later they finally decide to respond. A great time to do that is on slow afternoons, mornings before hotel checkout, or when I'm within 10 minutes of her incall and get lucky. Hotels, parking, movie theaters all offer discounted rates based on day / time for the same service. So your standard STG providers will too.
If she gives you a deal with good service you'll repeat for higher price, give a positive review, and increase her client base. If its bad service you'll be glad you didn't pay full price and leave a poor review.

Fb and messanger are already loaded on the phone. Plenty of room for everything you need with the 32 bit chip. I don't need to use my laptop anymore.
When WiFi is not available, talk and text are reasonable rates and I never use my data. Anytime I need data it can wait until I get to WiFi.

Thanks.Burner phone vs App is a decision that needs to be made based on what fits your situation the best. Consider if your spouse gets into your phone. A texting app on your personal phone may be suspicious. Do you use a family App Store / Play account where a tech savvy spouse may see that someone has downloaded the app? Likewise are YOU savvy enough to bury it deep within a folder to keep it out of sight and remember to disable notifications? Similarly if you got a burner phone where would you charge and hide it? If you aren't married those probably aren't a concern for you.
A good reason to have a burner phone: you can afford to bring it with you where you shouldn't be bringing your expensive smart phone. Say hello to souvenir pics!
If you consider an app, download it and try it for free. Learn all the settings within the app and your phone to enable / disable notifications. Send texts and calls (from a different phone) in all the different configurations, sleep modes, etc to see when it rings or notifies you so there aren't any surprises when you aren't expecting any. Then remember to shut it off when not in use.
For the overly paranoid TextFree has a webpage version for texting only. It requires you to login via a browser and manually check for texts. Cumbersome but leaves no trace.
