This club has changed names like 2 to 3 times during the years.

It was once called Spearmint Rhino.

Action can be had at Rio. But I think any club with a VIP can. The 626 clubs are more frequent in mileage but always got to look out for robs anywhere. Also Rio might have online coupons for entry.

I was there when this place first opened and I recently went back. The only difference between then and now is the name. Not to talk bad about this place but it sucks. I went at night time and there were only 6 girls working and almost all of them were on their phones or sitting around literally doing nothing. I think the waitress hustled me more than the dancers. If you looking for mileage in those Long beach / Signal hill clubs, don't waste your time, cause you won't get there. In Fantasy Castle when I was there, they even had security standing there watching the room, telling people to watch there hands, or too close etc, I kinda felt like it was middle school dance with all the monitoring by security. Plus they don't get naked in the lap dance area. He only thing I liked was the admission was cheap $5, Fantasy Castle had some nice looking girls.

I personally won't go back to neither one, not my cup of tea. Why pay $$ to be teased, when you can pay the same and be pleased, and the one pleasing you is better looking and sweeter personality than the one who teasing you.

I know this is the LA thread but I thought it is okay to ask here.Based on my somewhat limited experience:

At Paradise and Synn (COI), you will have a wide variety of dancers in many ethnicities. At King Henry and Starz (Gardena), you pretty much will have only AA dancers of many shapes and sizes.

However, the COI clubs are harder to get mileage on a Saturday night. They specialize in daytime and weeknight action. On Saturday, you will pay more, and if you don't do your research, you may not get anything.

At the Gardena clubs, you can drink alcohol. Dances are less pricy, so if you strike out with one dancer, you can just try another. They are much lower pressure all around. More of a neighborhood bar feeling (at least at King Henry; less so at Starz).

However, in COI you have many other options, including Rhino, Deja Vu, Monarchs, Bliss and others. Depending on how hard core you are, you can bounce around a lot more.

Saturday is a lousy time to look for action, but a great time to go for eye candy. I think the COI clubs really have their prettiest dancers working.

In the end, I would give the edge to COI, for variety and potential for mileage. I would give the edge to Gardena for drinking and low prices.

That said, VHM / UHM is possible in any of those clubs, even on a Saturday.

The Gardena clubs do have a safety factor that can be a concern. The neighborhoods are just a tad bit sketchier. Not much, but I feel safer in COI by a factor of 1. 2. I have heard of shooting in both COI and Gardena though (as well as North Hollywood and Canoga Park), so that isn't too much of an issue. Just keep your Spidey sense about you.

If I were going, I would go to COI. The earlier you can go, the better. After 9-10 PM, it can become kind of a sausage fest of sketchy characters.

I have never been to the Gardena area, but I work in COI so go to the COI clubs. If you are looking for mileage, I have had better success during the day. Theres generally less please and you get a better chance to feel the girl out. At night the clubs can get packed and its hard to converse or feel a girl out when everyone is packed in like sardines.

Action can be had both during the day and at night, but its a lot easier at during the day (for me at least). If you go to Paradise during the day many girls will give you a welcome handshake (SSTP) while making her sales pitch.

Visiting from the Midwest. Went to King Henrys, they said they were closing in 5 minutes, so I went to Starz. Good time with a tall, pretty attractive dancer. More mileage than the Midwest, but nothing major.

My real question, I was driving and saw a large sign that said "all nude" and had "$5 cover plus a drink" it was somewhere around s main and florence. Couldn't look to much, was with come business partners, but I want to go back there and can't find it now!

BTW, a new site called bonedin.com is struggling to get off the ground with dancer reviews.

In the San Fernando Valley, I have not found a total eye candy club; most are in the average category. My pal in the Valley has found high mileage at Blue Zebra. I had some action at Godfathers on SB with a 50-something white chick with my kind of (skinny) body, but most dancers are tubby Latinas. Some dancers have apparently delivered at Deja Vu VN, but YMMV.

In LA proper, 4 Play is my go-to eye candy store. Bare Elegance can be, too. Most everyplace else is just hit or miss. I've yet to try King Henry 8, but I understand the dancing is topless only, and there's high mileage to be had in the private dances. It's on my list to try next. Jet Strip used to be a good spot, but they are no longer 'the friendliest' and have only a couple really attractive dancers.

Again, try Bonedin for up to date dancer reviews, because you're getting mileage from the dancer, not the club.

And for a lot of neighborhood clubs, it is like that (nobody bothers you if you don't want it). But I just totally struck out there. Two dancers to choose from, and both sucked when it came to mileage. It is was only experience with KH8. So maybe it was not representative, maybe others have gotten much better on their first try. I am just expressing my disappointment.

Most of these clubs just close down when they lose the license because selling booze is their business compared to nude clubs where the ownership shares lap dance revenue with dancers. Same thing happened to Sam's Hofbrau for a period last year.

The question I hope someone will answer is whether Alameda Strip is now a full out nips in the open topless club? That advertisement Mondo linked so indicates but this has always been a bikini club.

I used to hang out here going back around 10 years ago. Enjoyed hanging out with the latin american born dancers and there were opportunities especially if you speak conversational spanish. Grind was good for cheap full length $10 lap dances but still child's play for real mongers. Mad dog security was there on busy shifts and brutally enforced the ultra-conservative minimum contact rules that the state alcohol board imposes. It was a colorful Mexican bar. Good spirit and cheer in the room. Music was primarily latin even though DJ was an old white hippie. Lap dances to cumbia and ranchera music is a unique experience.

But if the linked site is on the level, it seems to be portraying a born again rock and roll topless club and that would just suck. I am as rock and roll as any old white guy around here, but I looked at AS as a latina hostess club with a full bar where nudity and dances were secondary. Rock and roll or cumbia and ranchera, we don't need another topless club offering worthless low mileage lap dances and a Fiesta de Silicon on stage. I'll check it out myself soon enough.

Today had some business to take care of in Vernon so after finishing up headed up Alameda and made a pit stop at the club.

I would not waste my time coming here again by what I saw. There were maybe 12 customers and 3 girls in club clothes, one was ok looking maybe a 7 and the other two a bit less, maybe 6.

On the + side for those of you that consume alcohol this joint has a full bar though most everyone I saw were drinking beer.

I asked a waitress for a beer and paid her $6 + tip. Afterwards asked her about the joint and she explained they have lap dances for $10, now the lap dances are given on the benches next to the wall and the gals are fully clothed with no expectations of any roaming whatsoever. Saw a dude take one of the two gals for one and it was mostly air play.

The place is fully lit with a nice stage and tables but that's about all the good that can be said about this joint.

In the half hour I was there a gal went on stage a did a 2 song dance set without taking anything off, she's was maybe a 5+ on the gorda side with a nasty belly showing either a malo performed see section or a bungled lipo.

So, for me I would not recommend this place. Also, Espanol needs to be spoken here.

Anybody have insight at the Gentlemen's Club in Glendale?I have never heard anything good about the place since it opened at least 15 years ago. It's gone through a few management changes, but always seems to be horrible. They are actually in LA on the Glendale border. I've heard that LE is on them like a ton of bricks, all the time.

Last year or so, they had an oil leak in the neighborhood, and the place was shut down for a while.

For a long time, they seemed to always have buses of Japanese tourists at nights. I don't know if that still goes on, but last I heard, the place still had that tourist trap, bilk the customer for all he is worth vibe.

Ended up there 6-8 months after Library with a friend who was visiting on a week night after hours. Place was pretty dead. Talent may be in shorter supply but the girls who work days are typically bolder than the night shifters. However, you're still reduced to identifying a relatively small percentage of outlaws in the generally low mileage SFV clubs. Save yourself the trouble and drive out to City of Industry where the environment is consistently rich for what you're looking for at all hours and at quite reasonable prices (except for the Spearmint Rhino Industry Club which is slowly dying from the stubborn adherence of the club and its prima dona dancers to pricing that went out of fashion during Dubya's recession in all the other nearby clubs).

Some guys seem to think of Industry as being halfway to Palm Springs. In fact the clubs are only about 15 miles from downtown L. A. And daytime traffic patterns are favorable for driving east in the early afternoon and returning west later on. Though distances traveled beyond central L. A. May have plenty of delays to serve up. Paradise is the precise opposite environment of 4 Play. It is dark and pretty cheerless and pretty much feels like La Casa de Diablo. The kind of shelter us hard core mongers are looking for. Most of the dancers are on the heftier side, latina and sometimes English challenged. Most are there to be providers plain and simple. I enjoy Paradise but I generally prefer Synn which has the same ownership and is another 1. 25 miles east on Valley Blvd. Synn has a much brighter environment, usually a cast of beautiful dancers even if they won't be up to 4 Play standards across the board. Most are as friendly as the more to the point Paradise dancers but play it cooler and classier.

Also, Synn VIP rooms are less expensive than similar options at Paradise and actually ridiculously reasonable compared to what one expects for elevated service at Strip Clubs. Paradise claims to just have lowered their VIP price with the 20 minute option reduced to $150, but until I get over there I'm not convinced they are talking about a real (I. E. Private) VIP or what they have been pawning off as "Fantasy VIPs" which is another very inferior setting that they offer for dances.

Along the way on a Safari between Paradise and Synn, be sure to just pass by Spearmint Rhino which is in between the other two on Valley. That is unless you're independently wealthy. SR at times has a few girls who are completely up to 4 Play eye candy standard performing services like you expect at Paradise / Synn. The difference being that many expect a tip that makes the experience more expensive than spending a couple of hours with the highest tier escorts.

I agree exactly. Whenever I am in the LA area I try to get to Paradise for a 100% good time. There are some decent ones but if you are expecting hot model types you are in the wrong place. I hit up Skin on the westside this past Saturday around 1:30-2 am. $15 cover. For a Saturday, the talent was not as good as the times I went in the past. The best girl was a chick that goes by Celeste. Latina in a tight one piece with no panties, big titties and ass. She says she mainly dances in the city of industry.

No dancers were real pushy and what I like about this spot is that you can just chill at a seat and not really worry about anything. It's nice to be real faded in a dark place with girls all around. Nobody really will bother you. Most girls are down to come sit by you and just talk and maybe you can work something out from there.

As for lapdances and extra's, this place will cost you. I don't go here for either, and unless you are balling, you should do the same.
