They would have to make up an excuse like a traffic violation and risk perjury if it goes to court. Which most LE will not do for such a low charge. So even if the SW is riding dirty, nothing would stick as no probable cause was established. Funny how our laws work to protects people's rights. Right?
2) As far as the SW giving you up, well what is she giving up exactly? At this point she just got in the car, no "act" has been committed at that point. Even if you had time to discuss donation amount for an act, and they wanted to pinch you based on her words alone, they would not. It is not worth the time and effort of a prosecution.
They would have to make sure that SW would show up in court 3 months later to testify against you. These girls can't keep a phone for more then 3 days, do you really think they would show up in court later on? It just will not happen and LE knows that, they would not waste their time. Also there is the issue of them being creditable witness as they are individuals with checkered paste and addictions. All that you say is possible, but really not realistic. So, if you get red lighted, You keep your mouth shut, admit to nothing, do not give permission to search your car, and anything they actually do come with will not be admissible in court as it was an illegal stop.

Both pics are Abby, a familiar face to many readers here. I personally hadn't seen her for while before yesterday, but that corner is often where she's found. My point is this, in order for a prosecutor to accept or reject a case it must start with a report from a cop that will say you did something illegal. Most cops are good, but many for whatever reason will create some B. S. To say they have some reasonable articulable suspicion to stop you or pull up on you like let's say for like I don't know, a known street walker hoping into your car! They have the discretion to jamb you up or not. Depending on if you resist or challenge them they are going to report that you were caught with a known street walker and whatever else they can make up to justify the stop. You will be arrested charged and booked. If you are a first offender you most likely will not have to downtown. If not, you're screwed. If the Prosecutor does not have enough evidence to support the charges or if you have a lawyer to advocate for you with the prosecutor then you will walk or be downgraded otherwise you can count on going to jail. The point is this, you are presuming all law enforcement officers are honest and follow the law and I'm sure some probably are but as a deterrent, many will cause you to spend money to stay out of jail knowing the report and charges are weak at best if not outright false. I know a number of LE. Trust me, if they want to pull you over, they can and it will be legal. A cop told me most people violate a traffic law regularly. Not use a turn signal, not come to a complete stop, improper lane change, improper turn (a right turn must be from the right lane to the right lane) and etc. Once they have you pulled over, then there are options at their disposal. Most SWs are high. That is justification to search the vehicle for drugs. If the SW is carrying drugs, they will hide it in your vehicle as already mentioned. It is your car, so it is your drugs. You would be surprise how easy it is. I am sure you can think of other ways they can do the same thing.
One thing that may surprise you is cops normally do poorly in algebra. My mother was the college coordinator for the police department where I lived. She was amazed how many cops failed algebra the first time they took it or got a poor grade. One officer explained it to her. Algebra is black and white subject. There is either a right answer or a wrong answer. A good cop needs to see in shades of gray. You know someone is up to something and you need to figure out how to get them off the street. Besides, it is a lot of work, they have to drag your sorry arses in (both you and SW), call for a tow truck, do all that got damn paperwork, even show up in court later and it is still debatable whether the charges will stick. A lot of work for a drop in the ocean. Also all these things keep them away from what they like to do best, drinking coffee, eating donuts, cruising the streets, looking omnipresent and behaving like a modern cowboy. Would they do it in a specific instance? Cops work in shades of gray. If they think you are up to something, then they will use any excuse to get you off the street. Sure one SW hopping in your car most likely will not do it. If they have any other reasons, then it might be the last thing that makes them act. Once they have pulled you over, their options are only limited by their imagination. I will agree many cops are not the brightest bulb in the pack, but there are exceptions.
They got creative where I lived before. They wanted to get rid of SWs. At about 2:30 am Saturday I counted at least 7 girls between DD and uhaul and 5 others at the triangle. Saw three of the ones at the triangle get picked up in less than a minute. Got me one at the DD but it was a lousy BJ. Should have tried harder to get one if the others attention.

Yeah that is a ridiculous law. The reality is that cops lie all the time. People don't typically know their rights so police have a tendency to think they can strong arm you into doing what they say. Stand you ground and stick to a very simple story with no details. Do not consent to a search. Also don't be a dick any more than you need to be towards the cop. You missed my point, but pointed out something similar in your previous post. Cops work in shades of gray. If they think you are up to something, then they will use any excuse to get you off the street. Sure one SW hopping in your car most likely will not do it.
