I know when I talked to them, they initially requested some sort of school or work email if I did not have any references. In addition, they requested verification of my identity, which I do have through a work website with my picture on it, but of course I did not feel comfortable with that as well. We went back and forth through emails with them asking A LOT of questions before they finally verified me. I think they are fairly flexible as long as you can get them to respond throughe email. The annoying part is you lose all your call / text history each time you "burn" the number. Good news is you are done with that number once you burn it!!

O.You guys don't; use you personal phone, get Pinger Text Free or some other free voice / text app it comes with a phone number and you can do unlimited texting and you buy like 100 minutes for cheap and then you can not have it tied to your personal info. It comes in IOS and Android. I use it on my Android phone and my iPad. Also I only sign into the app when I need to use it thus any incoming calls go to voice mail and texts queue up.
