A few weeks ago after traveling by North Bend, and making a small deposit with no return at the casino, thought I would try the local massage parlor. I had gone there a few years ago not long after tye opened with an OK experience, so since I had a very long drive ahead of me thought it would be good on a number of fronts. The spa is now called Edge now, at 410 East North Bend Way. Right next door to a QFC grocery store with lots of off street parking.
Entered and was greeted by a gal at a desk, attractive both face and figure, and friendly, this is a good sign. Led to a room, that had an bar assembly over the table so the provider could hold on to it, while walking on your back. In the small room, she kept telling me to be careful and not hit my head on the bars, and then to get undressed and lay face down on the table, again, not to hit my head on the bars (must have a problem with low coordination folks). After a few minutes she came in and draped me with a sheet, and started a massage, after a few minutes she asked if I wanted oil or lotion, that's a NO for me, hate feeling greasy! At this point she moved the sheet down to my butt, and lightly massaged my back, leg massage was very little of was covered by the sheet, with no hint of any fun.
After about 50 minutes of this, I hear a phone call, and she exits the room, and a minute or so later a different girl comes in, and tells me to flip, has the sheet up to my neck on the flip, massage is a little of my chest and then the scalp massage, done. Get dressed and go to the desk, to pay for time and leave a tip, as I start to get my wallet out the 2nd girl is at the desk, and the first is nowhere to be seen. She says that it will be $90,70 plus 20 for tip, just like that.
All in all a cold, non personal experience, no part of it was anything I would care to repeat. Better massage in a mall massage chair. And of course YMMV next trip to North Bend, I will just spend more time in the Casino!
