Guys, I tried to to go to the legal pampering place a few times and it was always booked. The woman gave me another woman to call but was never able to get the schedule together. Monday 1/09/06 ---Albany
I hit the streets 'in search of'...last night. Around midnight I took my break from work and drove around the usual spots and boy was it DEAD. I didn't see anyone on Central the first few times around the block, which is VERY unusual (not even college kids near the bars...freaky). Around 12:45 I noticed an unmarked chevy on a back street(behind Pauly's, parallel to Central) with a uniformed cop at the wheel. As I drove around again I noticed 3 marked cars parked in VERY hidden or inconspicuous areas near the stroll. I thought I saw a second undercover car driving around at the same time...
TOO MUCH HEAT FOR ME...
I abandoned my search and got some food before I headed back to work.
There were a few bodies walking up and down the street near Robin and Central about this time, nothing that looked too promising though. I was also concerned that anything I did find at that point might be 5-0 so I jammed up outta there.

I want to conduct a very unscientific poll.
Many of you may know this already, but just a few hours north of us, on the other side of the US-Canadian border, sex for pay is 100% legal. I can't tell you how many times I've driven to another city in the US Northeast where there are reportedly active strolls, then driven around for a few hours only to find skanks or nothing at all. Then, as I drive home, I think to myself, "In the same amount of time that I just wasted, I could have driven up to Montreal, checked into a motel and had a drop dead gorgeous young lady come visit me for an hour, pay $US150 and had the time of my life. WHY do I put up with the humiliation, degradation, LE harrassment and slim pickings of US stroll scene (not to mention the LE harassment and risk of serious trouble)?"
So then it occured to me that many of you might also be interested in going up there. Are you concerned that the territory is unfamiliar? That's a fair concern. But what if there was an organized trip? What if one of us with knowledge of what is available and what to avoid organized a trip? For a fee you would get to ride up on a bus, get taken to a decent hotel or motel, get connected online or by telephone with an agency or a you get the telephone numbers and pictures of a few ladies who work independently and then, a few hours later (probaly the next morning) you get a bus ride back home? Included, of course, would be such usueful advice as what to expect to pay and that, in Canada, tipping is NOT expected.
As I see it, the price of the trip (bus, motel and information) is a totally seperate from the price you pay for the services you hire.
Would there be any interest?
I'd like to know what you all think out there.....

I think this is a good idea. The key thing as one member responded, it would be good if people get to meet first before the trip to make sure of compatibility. It could be a lot of fun. I just dicovered this site yesterday. Wow! I have lived up here for almost six years. I know the streets of schenectady very well. I read the forums yesterday and recognized some names. Toybox has been shut for at least 6 years. Schenectady has been fairly successful shutting down the strip clubs. Aquarius is on state st, but I've never seen any cars in the lot. I think it's topless only, if that.
I've never heard of a lingerie place in cohoes, but would try it if you give details.
Not much going on in Schenectady, although lots of SW (beware of LE on Albany St. from brandywine to downtown). Shenanigans on central ave is just past the border into Albany county. October 11,2006
(Watervliet) - Three Women and two Men were arrested Wednesday accused of taking part in a prostitution ring in Watervliet. I see the LE concern come up every once in a while, but honestly, are they really learning anything new here? There are officers on the street 24/7, so chances are they know about anything new long before we do. Now, with in/outcall, Metroland, CL, etc. it's obviously a different story. I don't have the funds for upscale, but if I did, I'd be really paranoid about a setup. At least on the street it's easier to do a little recon and know what you are getting into.

A bit more to report on the 'not yet dead' capital region. Nightmoves was hot, but I tried Capital Hideaway, not much contact and real high prices. Best Pick was Cloud 9 in Troy, hard to find but worth it. Old reports of it being dirty were untrue, and it had a great stage, like a theater, and balconies. Had first dance by Monica, asian girl with great body, only $20 but there were alot of hotties there by 6 to 7 pm, realyy wish I could've spent the whole night. Just one thing, not enough black dancers, one sweet kid who we respected. Congrats to all you Capital guys who can be regulars at this place. Def recommend and will return.

Fairly new to the area- and been feeling that urge again... I've read a few posts on here that have had luck- others that warn about cameras and the usual LE posts.

I ventured out for the first time in a long while on Thursday night. Perfect weather, with cool evening air and just the threat of some showers. Regulars know the Albany street area is torn up for water main replacement, so the "loop" is effectively shut down. I did see 4-5 SWs on State between 23:00 and 01:00. Mostly 5's, and a couple that have been out there for the better part of a decade, I'd guess. I expected to see more on the side streets around the construction zone, but it was pretty quiet.
Two notable things: The car hookers appear to be back, as I got the look from a LSW driving some ancient SUV on Backus. Not the first time I've been approached that way, at that very spot. I passed, as you can't really see what you are getting into, unlike with walkers.
Also, I saw 2 SWs on Eastern Ave, about 1/2 mile up the hill from Nott. On a 2nd pass, both were gone, but I haven't seen girls in that area for at least 6 years. Again, probably due to the loop being out of service. I ended up striking out, but that was alright, as it was kind of nice just getting out and about again.

I took a run out there last weekend (7/14). The construction could be a PITA. Saw a couple of girls out, but couldn't swing around in time to pick them up. Not sure of the exact time, but it was a bit after midnight. LE was out, didn't stick around
