Seeing as how this comes up now and then, I figured this would be a good thread to start.

Maybe you're married and you need to be careful about this hobby of ours. Maybe you have standing in community. Maybe you just believe you have a right to privacy (shocking idea in this day and age). Then I guess this thread is for you, and this would be a good place to discuss information security and privacy, and help those who have questions.

No political discussions, because it always devolves.

No conspiratorial rants. Level-headed discourse about law enforcement and intelligence surveillance is fair game.

Be respectful of each other.

I've always been aware of my digital footprint. I don't engage in social media that much (maybe 15 minutes a week) because it's always creeped me out. I use a mail hosting service based outside the Five Eyes treaty for my mongering correspondences. I pay for a VPN and use it when I feel the need arises. Been thinking about getting a dedicated burner phone.

Be respectful of each other.I'm still trying to decide which one is best but it seems ExpressVPN is more secure.

I'm still trying to decide which one is best but it seems ExpressVPN is more secure.I'm kind of suspicious of the VPNs that advertise a lot on YouTube. Not that I don't think they work, but any reviews of them are going to be tainted because of how much money they throw around.

I use ProtonVPN. They're a smaller provider based in Switzerland and they're well-regarded in security circles.

Brothers,

My research into ping and other metrics involving several different vpn providers has lead me to IPVanish VPN. I feel we must consider the fact that we are located in the most remote location on earth as to include our distance from major internet hubs.

I use thunder VPN, a separate Gmail account, only use apps in the secure area of my phone that's encrypted and use a voip number.

I bought a Tracfone phone and plan from Walmart to use for mongering and it's also the number I give to bargirls if I like them. Pay cash for it so it can't be tracked back to you. When activating it for the first time I used a pay phone in Ranch 99 (gone now) or you could use public internet at the library to do so as well.

DB,

Thank you for starting this thread.

I bought the burner phone from Target, and prepaid plan from ATT, at the recommendation of the ATT rep. Phones used be under. 5 my last go round. They are over $ now. Use the store address and fake name. Tell the rep that it's for gambling. Been doing this for years. I go back to when oldie posted regularly. Think ukieater told me about it.

Recently installed Turbo VPN. Not sure how safe, but got me into the bedpages sites. I was blocked without it.

Thanks again and look forward to sharing relevant info.

NL.

Steps for an anonymous monger life:

VPN. Prefer NORD or NORTON VPN $60 a year for either.

Burner Phone: Pre-paid phone ATT or Veri $100 a year.

Phone Service: Talktone. Free but need to use at least once a month, not as anonymous as pre-paid phone.

Email Account: Setup secondary email account where porn subscriptions, etc will collect at and you seem like a legit customer.

VISA recharge cards: gift cards that can be recharged at stores, once purchased recharge as required.

Crime car. Car that does not attract attention and if stopped seems to fit profile of neighborhood.

Coins for meters.

Use cash or vemo to pay for activities. Avoid personal credit cards and personal checks. Avoid carrying anything that can identify you.

If any of these seems compromised abandon and get another.

While that's more convenient than street parking, doesn't that leave a trail for anyone on a stakeout or in the house? Can someone search for the identity of the car owner from his HI license plate number?

So far in Hawaii, only first responders (PD, FD, EMS) and DMV workers have access to license plate to car owner's info through the DMV's electronic information system.

Is there a benefit of using burner phones vs the phone number apps?

I use TextFree and TextNow, which both gives free alternative 808 area code phone numbers. If anything goes wrong I simply delete the app from my phone.

I usually use VPN in general but recently, I'm unable to access this site unless I turn off my VPN. Is anyone else having this issue?

Now I can't texts from my regulars, like Coco. If you use an app, be sure to keep a separate record of phone numbers.

If you're going to use a VPN connection make sure you understand the ToS, services like NORD or NORTON VPN's will happily give your info with out warrants, they also log most of if not all of your traffic.

Here is a link to the website.

http://jimspss1.courts.state.hi.us: 8080/ eCourt / ECC / LicensePlateSearch. Iface.

Just look under the vehicle tab and type in the license plate number. You can also use ecourt kokua to research lawsuit information and criminal case history by searching a person's name.

If their record is clean I can't find out who the owner of the license plate belongs to.

Looks like it will only find license plate numbers for active or past cases though and not a total database search that is probably restricted at the current time.

Not sure if this is the right thread but has anyone had experience being in an AMP when a bust went down? I'm asking about since the law was changed so that customers may be charged. Did you get arrested or did cops look the other way? I had this experience more than once in the past including a time over a decade ago in which a female uniformed cop actually entered the room and told me and the girl I was with to stay put and we would be OK. However, that was not a prostitution bust. They were looking for a particular girl on a drug warrant.

Since the change in the law, I am getting paranoid particularly about the larger higher profile places. Can anyone report first hand on being arrested?
