Picked up a LA Weekly last week and looked up the AMP's ads when all of a sudden I found a familiar name with a familiar address: Best Spa on V.N. Blvd. near Parthenia.

Whoa! Between Feb. of 1998 and November of 2001 I left gallons of love juice there on a twice-a-week basis. That was until the talent declined and I also found West Valley Therapy & Topanga Therapy in Chatsworth at the same time.

So I rang them up and the MMS confirmed it was the same location. Told her I use to come there a lot in the old days and she asked me to come again. Asked her if she was Korean and she said yes. This is just the difference between a KMP and a CMP. The Koreans will always have condoms, because they will never pass on an opportunity to make extra money (FS). The Chinese are more reserved.

Since I have taken my game from the no-action SFV to Oxnard & SGV, the difference is even more blatant. In the 'Nard - mostly Koreans - you never have to worry about bringing a cover (most girls here will offer you BBFS, but that's another story...). In any CMP, if you don't bring your own cover, the best you will get is a HJ or a saran wrap BJ (I got one at a Simi Valley CMP once and didn't like it). I keep my stash in a hidden compartment of my car and anyway my wife hardly drives it.To make sure my hobby stays a mistery from the Mrs., I got bought a pay-as-you-go cellphone to do my CL and related hobbying. I checked all the different plans and phones. Best deal I could find was at Target for the T-mobile phone and service. Got the cheapest phone, the cheapest starter card, then got the one-year card when the starter expired a couple months later.

I keep it in my car and only use it there. If the Mrs. ever happens to find it, I can always say something like "that must be Joe's from work."

Took a couple for the team on Saturday afternoon (4/15).

8537 Reseda Blvd. is a totally legit Korean Massage place (I never thought I would write this combination of words...). The place is rather new with polished hardwood floors, large windows on the doors and real massage beds.

It always makes me wonder when someone makes a statement like this. There is no way to know who is trusted or not.

Like I've said before, the police know of these places. In fact, in most cities, the application for the massage permit goes before the Chief of Police.

Some cities have enacted ordinances where officials may inspect these parlors at any time, without a search warrant. BTW, this was challenged all the way to the highest courts, which found the searches constitutional. This is the long way of saying, in many cities LE tolerates these establishments. Other cities, there is no tolerance. These places will come onto the radar regardless of what is written here or not.
If you didn't know, there are review sites where individuals post of their conquests in extreme and organized detail. To not put useful information only serves to make this site not as useful as the others, which doesn't really help us.

What a bunch of babble. Just because I disagree with your strategy, you resort to a senseless attack, and encourage a barrage of PM's. Senseless. I suppose that really shows your state of mind.

The truth of the matter, as I have an interest in this subject I have bothered to do some research. Nearly all of it available via google, sure, I did open a Pacer account so that I could observe the pending case against Mao and company. Everything else, you can find on your own using your favorite search engine. I encourage you to do so. The articles you will find will really open your eyes. You will find that LE in many municipalities basically tolerates MP's, for what ever reason. When they get their marching orders, they will close down a shop. Otherwise, how could you possibly explain cities like Inglewood. They have several AMP's that have been open for nearly 10 years plus. Sure, a number of them closed recently, but not due to local LE.

As far as LE goes, they don't need this forum. In fact, they really don't need any forum, but there are other forums that provide similiar info. If its simply a matter of principal, then sure not posting the info works to a degree, but only to serve your own principals. If you think that strategy is actually going to work and protect these places, then I am not the one that is delusional. You would be totally ignoring these other forums that are providing info.

I am sure that we have some legal professionals, whether it be an attorney, police officers that are here for their own personal needs or what ever.
If you do have extended knowledge of the laws, and how postings here might be used or why they couldn't be used, we'd all love to hear about it.

As far as the current debate, Vlad De Sade and I have very different views on the subject. That is alright.

Rather than carry on a long and drawn-out thread that is likely to bore everyone, since no one else comments, why don't we think about how we can change the current situation. Whether it be legalization or legislation, we do need to come up with a plan. This is one point that we all probably agree on.

If you have ideas on how to carry out this plan, I'm sure that this would be a lively conversation. One that we all would be willing to carry on.

Maybe but why risk it? why give out intel to someone who hasn't provided anything themselves? can post's on this board be use din a court of law, maybe to obtain proable cause to search a place, against a monger I doubt it, but with the current enviroment against privacy and freedom of speech I would not want to risk it. Simply put it ain't worth posting details what's the payoff? s/w's and strippers amps etc are diffrent s/w's are fluid they move from place to place amps can't, it makes them an easy target for le to bust. ok to post very vaugue details but don't get specific it's just not worth it.The upside to posting about anything is that everyone gets the info - newbies and non-senior members are not left out. I don't get the comment above that "everything was closed". There are tons of places open despite many, many posts on this board and even more so on others. You guys who think there is info here - check out the mp reviews website (hope it's OK to post this). There has been tremendously detailed info there for years and these places are still open.

Look, OCAMPer and I have posted the arguments for posting details and that doing so does not tell LE anything that they don't know already - look up my posts on Orange County MP thread, including details of my discussion with a former LE. It is apparent that some people just don't want to research the other boards I'm talking about and/or cannot think rationally. I guess we'll just have to do without info from you guys who are irrational about this. I get most of my info and primarily post on the other website anyway, but it would be nice if people would share here also.

It's gonna make it harder on the newbies, so what? If you have earned your senior stripes, you probably have contributed before and you may be trusted.

Putting everything in the open came back to bite us in the butt, so if we try the PM system to only trusted senior members, we may enjoy some new places & providers that may pop up ocassionally here and there.

I am sure that we have some legal professionals, whether it be an attorney, police officers that are here for their own personal needs or what ever.
If you do have extended knowledge of the laws, and how postings here might be used or why they couldn't be used, we'd all love to hear about it.

As far as the current debate, Vlad De Sade and I have very different views on the subject. That is alright.

Rather than carry on a long and drawn-out thread that is likely to bore everyone, since no one else comments, why don't we think about how we can change the current situation. Whether it be legalization or legislation, we do need to come up with a plan. This is one point that we all probably agree on.

If you have ideas on how to carry out this plan, I'm sure that this would be a lively conversation. One that we all would be willing to carry on.

One suspect arrested in brothel crackdown

Scattered around Thousand Oaks are a handful of businesses that look legit enough.

Stickers on the windows advertise how Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. Doctors, hair designers and restaurateurs hang shingles right next door. The businesses even advertise in the local newspaper.

But what goes on inside these businesses is anything but legal, said Ventura County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Mike De Los Santos.

Three massage parlors in Thousand Oaks and one Camarillo home were searched Wednesday as part of a crackdown on parlors suspected of doubling as brothels.

Though officials are not sure if all the suspected brothels are connected, the roughly 35 "massage technicians" who worked at the various businesses often moved among locations, De Los Santos said.

Though only one arrest was made, others could come, De Los Santos said.

"It's a large operation," he said, standing outside one of the massage parlors on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, just beside a dentist's office. "It shows that if it's here, it's everywhere."

The Sheriff's Department has been getting complaints about the parlors for years and started an investigation six months ago, De Los Santos said. Another parlor in Westlake Village was raided last month.

On Monday, deputies searched the Oriental Health Center at 1459 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Suite A, and arrested owner Gui Yun Wang, 42, of Camarillo, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit prostitution and keeping a house of ill fame.

Also searched was New Life Acupuncture at 253 Lombard St., Suite B, and HWA Rong Acupuncture Acupressure at 951 S. Westlake Blvd., Suite 200. Another business that has since moved was searched, as well as Wang's Camarillo home.

The masseurs will be cited if they do not have massage licenses. No clients were arrested over the course of the investigation.

Though no Ventura County sheriff's deputies did any undercover work, an outside agency did do some at the Westlake Village location, De Los Santos said. He declined to say what agency that was. Other information came from "Johns" coming out of the businesses, he said.

In addition to complaints, De Los Santos said, the whereabouts of the parlors were as easy to find as picking up the Ventura County Star. Advertisements in the classified section routinely boast such things as "new girls" and "free table showers." The VC Reporter also advertises such services.

Star Publisher Tim Gallagher said the paper accepts advertisements from businesses with a legal license, but at times, the language of the advertisements has to be toned down. If the business is deemed illegal, the advertisements are pulled, he said.

"If we are battling for the First Amendment, and it's a legal business, we'll accept their ads," Gallagher said.

De Los Santos said the illegitimate businesses take away from the bona fide masseurs trying to make a living. More scrutiny will be given to masseurs and business when they apply for licenses, he said.

Though the searches were limited to Thousand Oaks, such places exist all around the county, he said.

At the parlors raided on Monday, the procedure would usually entail a client asking for a massage and paying about $60 for it, De Los Santos said. The client would then initiate something more — sometimes including full intercourse — and give a large tip on top of the massage rate.

This came as little surprise to the business owners around the parlors.

"There was a lot of traffic, a lot more than you'd see for an acupuncturist," said Jay Perry, manager of Johnny P's A Place for Ribs, which is just below HWA Rong Acupuncture Acupressure. He'd see as many as 20 men, often middle-aged and seemingly middle to upper class, go into the business each day, he said.

De Los Santos said the quality of the parlors depended on their location. Some were small and quaint, others had six rooms and lavish decorations.

"That place," he said, referring to the one in Westlake Village, "looked like a five-star hotel."

Nine arrested after six-month prostitution investigation

THOUSAND OAKS - Nine women were arrested and six massage parlors closed in a crackdown on prostitution following a six-month investigation, authorities said Thursday.
And more arrests are expected in the case being investigated by the Thousand Oaks police and Ventura County sheriff's departments and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

The accusations include pandering, immigration violations and misdemeanor massage license violations.

Although the standard fee for a massage was $40 to $60, some men paid separate fees - referred to as "tips" - for sexual services, investigators said.

"The prostitutes will often receive this payment in the form of a 'tip' from their customers after the sexual act in an attempt to avoid the elements of prostitution," sheriff's Sgt. Mike De Los Santos said.

He said it was important to crack down on such illegal sex businesses because they typically lead to more vice-related crime.

"If you have five of them, you will end up getting 10 of them," he said.

Some of those arrested were Chinese nationals living illegally in the United States.

"People who are lured to this country for illicit purposes are often treated like a commodity, making them vulnerable to all kinds of exploitation," said ICE Agent David Wales.

"ICE is committed to working with its local law enforcement partners to dismantle criminal enterprises like this one that threaten not only the welfare of those involved, but also the quality of life in our communities," he said.

The arrests were made when search warrants were served June 14 and Wednesday, and the people taken into custody were from various parts of Southern California, including Granada Hills, Moorpark, Camarillo, Santa Paula, Rosemead, Pasadena and Alhambra. They include:

Yan Jun Hu, 39, of Granada Hills, the owner of the Asian Wellness Center, 166 N. Moorpark Road, who was arrested on suspicion of pandering.

Shuying Qi, 43, of Moorpark, the owner of Chinese Acupuncture Center, 1337 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., and Reflexology Plus, 5565 Lindero Canyon Road, on suspicion of pandering.

Gui Yun Yang, 42, of Camarillo, the owner of the Oriental Health Center, 1459 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., on suspicion of conspiracy to commit prostitution and keeping a house of prostitution.

Two misdemeanor arrests were also made at the HWA Rong Chinese Medical Clinic at 951 S. Westlake Blvd. Another arrest on suspicion of failing to obtain a license was made in connection with the former Asian Health Center Spa on Thousand Oaks Boulevard that recently closed.

I think this is good advice. While I would never say never, and most women we pursue including nonAMP women aren't the "right" one anyway, I would especially caution against falling for an AMP girl.

The husband and wife allegedly didn't report $255,000 in income from their 2001 federal tax returns and failed to pay the government nearly $82,000 in income taxes.

Under the plea deal, they agreed to forfeit $2.4 million in cash and $356,000 in bank funds that were seized in an Internal Revenue Service investigation, which also involved the Sheriff's Department's vice unit.

Officials said Oriental Acupressure had roughly 100 to 150 customers a day and clients paid "house fees" ranging from $50 to $90 to buy time with prostitutes. Customers would pay additional fees directly to the prostitutes, who claimed to be a massage therapist or acupressure technician.

LOS ANGELES - A Rancho Palos Verdes couple, who are accused of running a prostitution operation out of an Inglewood massage parlor, were sentenced on Monday to 18 months in prison on federal tax evasion charges and agreed to forfeit $2.8 million.

Sun Hi Lee, 56, and Wilford Johnson, 77, who owned Oriental Acupressure, still face state charges of pimping and pandering, but each pleaded guilty in April to one federal tax evasion count. The husband and wife allegedly didn't report $255,000 in income from their 2001 federal tax returns and failed to pay the government nearly $82,000 in income taxes.

Under the plea deal, they agreed to forfeit $2.4 million in cash and $356,000 in bank funds that were seized in an Internal Revenue Service investigation, which also involved the Sheriff's Department's vice unit.

Officials said Oriental Acupressure had roughly 100 to 150 customers a day and clients paid "house fees" ranging from $50 to $90 to buy time with prostitutes. Customers would pay additional fees directly to the prostitutes, who claimed to be a massage therapist or acupressure technician.

There are enough known senior members that prefer AMP to SW, and if a good enough variety of girl was available, maybe even I would give it a try.

By only dealing with known customers it would reduce if not eliminate the LE threat.

I was reading the LA Weekly, thanks for the copy Rob, and saw a place kind of close to my house so I thought I'd give it a try.

Posting of any kind on this thread that is overt & graphic is just going to set us all back even more. LAPD knows they beat us up in the valley since summer of '04. Yet, they still persist in closing down new "real places" w/in weeks of opening. We do not need to help LE destroy our hobby. They seem to have it handled all by themselves.
