Bamboo Wood is actually very clean.The good, the bad, and the ugly.
They have become excellent at bringing in clean sheets that smell fresh at the start of a session. Unlike downstairs which virtually never changes sheets.
The issue there is that use rags to clean up various body fluids, and those are not laundered between customers. They seem to hand rinse them during the session. Just look in the washing machine in the bathroom and you seem some sheets (surprisingly few though), and not a single jizz rag.
Most Asian homes and businesses have tile or wood floors which can be cleaned well with no place for. But for some reason BW has carpet which hides dust and mites, but is often wet from slopping water.

Good morning gents. As a recent transplant to your fine region, I have contributed nothing to this community (nor anyplace else for quite a while) so feel free to disregard this request with impunity. For those willing to help me out though, read on.
I was wondering if anyone might recommend a place that offers an outstanding massage in a nice, clean environment that might be talked into or at least not be horrified at the prospect of a handy. That's it. Don't want full service. Just want a really good massage from a reasonably attractive woman and at least the chance to address the inevitable physiological response that such massages seem to generate for me.
I'll take my response off air.About 90% of the shops in Westminster. Especially on Westminster Blvd offer HE. Some (Top10, Sunny Health, Bamboo, Bali) give a serious massage with a pleasant finish. All I can offer is that it's best to spend some time reading reports, and then call ahead and make an appointment with the girl of your choice. The only time I'd say first thing in the morning is best, is if you want FS. They have no dryer on premises. Unless you have a high capacity commercial washing machine, you can only wash about 5 sheets at a time, or maybe 6 if you cram them in there. That's an hour wash time for 5 or maybe 6 sheets. Figure they see what, 40-50 customers a day at least? That's 8-10 hours of washing time for the day's sheets. It's impossible even if you have a washer and dryer on site working non-stop from open to close. You use more sheets in an hour than you have the capacity to wash.
I have heard from multiple sources that have seen BW girls arriving at the start of the day with baskets full of clean sheets. Awesome. But no way they're taking a full day's worth of sheets home at the end of the day and bringing them all back clean in the morning. The time and logistics don't work out. So like every other spa in the hobby industry, they're doing something to cut corners. Possibly re-using sheets that don't get jizzed on. They have to be, because there simply is no other way. Legit spas like mine get around it by using a linen service. We don't even attempt to wash sheets because we can't. We wash all of our own towels, and that requires a washing machine and dryer that run constantly all day long.
So yes, BW is very clean compared to many other places in the industry, but they're not up to health department standards either. I've seen many places blatantly not change the sheets between clients, and I'm sure most of you have as well. BW does change them, but I would bet very good money that some of them get sprayed with Febreze and re-used later in the day. It doesn't bother me too much, or at least it has never kept me away.

I booked a 1 hour appointment with Anna for my first time at BW and in generally I'd say she didn't disappoint. As many have mentioned here, BW only hast curtains separating the rooms, which to be fair gets the job done but can be a bit to get used to. FWIW, I didn't hear anyone getting any particular services but the constant noise of work being done can be slightly distracting. More than anything though I enjoy casual conversation with the therapists and I avoided that so as not to distract any other mongers, would love to be more open with doors instead.
Despite my making an appointment I think there was a miscommunication when scheduling and I think Anna got double booked during my slot. I ended up arriving about 10 minutes early and was taken back but shortly there after the MMS came in asking if I had an appointment and I heard another outside. If it was one of you, sorry, I called and booked the same as you. For everyone else I highly recommend you call ahead to book as the MMS keeps a tight ship and many people seemed to have appointments. Another first timer tip, in each room there is a plastic bin on the floor, that's for your clothes to go in.
I had previously read several reviews talking about cleanliness and have to say that my experience was that the place seemed very clean. Anna came into the room with me at the start and stayed to put new linens on while I undressed. The sheets were certainly cleaned (by smell and appearance) as well as seeing her change them. I also used the restroom while there and can confirm the washer was running when I used it.
The massage was very good, maybe 8/10, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I was looking for in particular was a prostate massage and I certainly got that. After cleaning the oil off my back she began the tease. Prior to beginning the PM she actually leaned back to ask me if it was ok, which I happily accepted. She did a great job though I'd like to have a few more sessions with her to really dial in what "I" like when it comes to a PM. I have no reason to believe she couldn't pick up on my type very quickly. After about 10 minutes face down she flipped me and offered to continue the PM face up, which I did. Maybe five minutes later she stopped and came up to lay beside me and finish laying next to me. This is my preferred way to finish and it was perfect. I'd say this alone is worth the price of admission (which is very reasonable at that) and I would happily repeat.
I wish BW was a less out of the way for me but then again I'd probably be there every day. Thanks to those who gave me tips along the way.

It was Friday afternoon but not busy. Maybe 2 or 3 rooms occupied. Coming back home that google search revealed it's the former site of a very infamous spa.
I have no idea what is the name of that spa and no idea if they do walk ins. Seems likely it's all appt for independent girls.

I have been to Sunshine a few times, they often feature younger talent on Friday mornings. Not sure about prostate, but you may want to give it a shot. My latest experience was at Lake Forest Day Spa, and I enjoyed a four-hand session with Helen and Amy. The girls are marginally better looking and it's a sure deal to get extras, but if you're just looking to get a release there's plenty of other spas near the lambert / central / brea triangle. The one next to a cigar lounge will do HJ for $60 after house fees, the one by the pizza parlor will do covered FS for $120 (but you might need to make a few trips first to warm them up).

That's an old reliable place that's been around for 30+ years. I haven't been in quite a while, but back in the day they were always known for great service but not the most attractive (but still passable) girls. There is a place in Lake Forest on the corner of Muirlands and Ridge Route (across the street from Golden Massage) - sorry don't remember the name. I popped in there just to check it out but never went in. The place looked nice, and the MMS was decent looking in her 40's. I asked to see the table shower, and it looked pretty hi-tech! The place gave me a legit vibe, but sometimes it's hard to tell. I recall prices seemed reasonable.
If you go into LA county, there are plenty of places in Lomita down the the '1' that advertise table showers. Those might be the ones you are looking for!

I can't vouch for the quality as I haven't been there in probably 10 years, but definitely everything is available up to and including FS. All of the Downey places are reliable and have all been around for 25-30 years or more.

M&A is a typical Korean place with extras available. I can't vouch for the quality as I haven't been there in probably 10 years, but definitely everything is available up to and including FS. I think the thing is that we have a classic supply-and-demand situation. We are the demanders and the local girls are the suppliers. Some shops realize they make more money by keeping their prices low ($40) but make it up in volume, whereas other shops charge $50-60, but they sit around checking their social media many more hours per day.
In the same way with the services provided by the girls, they have upped their prices. By themselves for no other reason than they wanted more money. People have masters degrees in that stuff. One basic principle applies to everything though, and that is "pricing is whatever the market will bear. " As a small business owner, I can tell you that I'm going to charge as much as I can before it starts causing customers to stop coming. If I raise prices and don't lose any business, I'm going to raise prices again. For that matter, I can raise my prices and lose 10-15% of my business, but still make more money by serving less customers because the price increase more than offsets the lost customers. And most of the lost customers will come back eventually because the prices of everything else went up too. I'm sure mongering places are the same. If the girls can make just as much money or more by seeing only 9 customers a day instead of 11 or 12, they'd be all over it.

So this is a flat out money grab.
I think it started because they were out of work for 6 months, and business was drastically down for another 6-12 months, so they were hurting (only making 30 k tax free rather than $120 k tax free).
