WESTMINSTER A new flow of federal money will help bolster law enforcement against human trafficking in the city and surrounding areas, Westminster police officials said today.

The Westminster Police Department, which is part of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, will get a $1.2 million three-year federal grant to be split with the Salvation Army, said Westminster police Lt. Derek Marsh.

"One half of the grant will be used by us to step up community education, investigations and enforcement," he said. "The other half will be used by Salvation Army to provide victim services."

Human trafficking is a problem everywhere in Orange County, but more so in the Asian communities in and around Westminster, Marsh said. Officials have seen sexual exploitation of young girls and women from Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Korea and more recently from Eastern European countries, he said.

Westminster police plan to begin a campaign to create awareness about human trafficking among local schools, hospitals, colleges, community groups and nonprofit organizations, Marsh said.

"We want to get the word out there," he said. "A patrol officer is not going to be the first one to spot an anomaly. It's the neighbor who has to wonder: 'Why isn't that 12-year-old girl going to school with my 12-year-old?' or 'Why is that woman never allowed outside the house without an escort?'"

These are the type of questions community members need to ask and then report to the police so they can get to the bottom of it, Marsh said.

The Westminster police program has been funded for the last two years through a federal earmark from Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Garden Grove). But that funding expired Sept. 30.

"We were lucky to get this federal grant, which started Oct. 1," Marsh said.

Sanchez said she initiated the task force two years ago because human trafficking is a problem in Orange County. Task force members also include the U.S. Attorney's Office, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the FBI, and The Public Law Center.

I've been lurking on these forums for awhile in different parts of the country but live in Socal right now. I've given reviews on other sites in the past back home but never here. Well today I thought I'd give a few reports on 3 different locations this past week. I found 3 of these listings in the OCweekly classifieds and 1 of them on accident going to the ATM. Anyways on to the reports

1) 999 roses- I recall someone giving a review about them but I decided to go over there and see. The have a table shower but they also put a towel over you. Thats a red flag every time you go to these places so I was bummed about it but nothing I could do. 3) Paradise Spa. This place is right across the intersection in the same plaza as the shell gas station but looks kinda crummy like the usual signs of a typical massage parlor. Has the "paradise massage" in the oriental style font. So I go in there and a guy comes out and I was about to leave thinking he was a male therapist but he was the receptionist. They made me fill out a form and I was thinking damn this place must be legit. Anyways there are 3 pictures of the girls on the wall and their license is framed but they are all damn good looking. I asked for the best looking one in the picture but he said she was out of town for 1 month so I opted to go with the girl who was available so I walk into the room. It's the economy. There have been no published busts in CM and nothing mentioned at City Council meetings. (The Council meeting minutes are published on line.) I don't live in CM but many of my favorite places are there.

I know of at least two more places that will be closing by the end of the year. Many of the girls are very worried about being unemployed. I went to another bank, opened an account there, and just have my $$ put in there by direct deposit. My company allows me to split my direct deposit into the two banks. While I'm glad that resources are being devoted to stopping human trafficking, I don't see it as a problem in the AMP's that I visit.

It has been a while since i stopped by the site. Here are places to avoid and my experience. Don't know all the names but you guys probably know:
1) Golden Spa Lake Forest, Molton. Don't remember the girls game. Asian place. Wanted 80 for a closthed HJ, I only brought 40 for tip since entry is 50. I only bring max 90 in to any place with me so I won't be nogitiated to far up. Not sure which was worse her chanting cuma, cuma, cuma while she tried to get it over or changa, changa, changa with hand motions to hurrry up while I was dressing.
2) Place across from Orange Mall. Nothing happened there but they want a big tip. I tipped 20 and said I would get more.
3) Place on Lincoln kind of near Beach or Western. Ugly girl, bad HJ, wanted something like 60. Said I had 30 but would get more out of my car. I drove off.
4) places on Brookhurst in Anaheim. all bad. Massage 2000 had pretty girls but nothing happens. Heard Roman Spa is bad too, with old ladies. Only went as far as the window to sak prices.
Does anyone know if the Body Center on Orangethorpe in Buena Park is any good.

One of the great members on here pmed me the location of Lynn from happy day spa. I went to 17221 E 17th Suite D. Lynn was busy so I went with the other girl there. Didn't get her name but do not go for her. Very lame massage and talked the whole time and I had no idea what she was talking about. No HE. Lynn might be different but I didn't get a chance and won't be going back. Plus the room is right next to the entrance to the place. As in people who walked could see you in the right light. There is a curtain there but that's not where I ever want to go again.Does Lynn have blonde hair, petite and bolt ons? This could be the Katelynn I was looking for?

Ok, stay away from anything south of lake forest, Stay away from 80% of the places in lake forest, laguna hills and anywhere near there.

New place in costa mesa above tat shop. Older but ok if you need a release.

It's the economy. There have been no published busts in CM and nothing mentioned at City Council meetings. (The Council meeting minutes are published on line.) I don't live in CM but many of my favorite places are there.

I know of at least two more places that will be closing by the end of the year. Many of the girls are very worried about being unemployed. If you have any favorites I recommend that you get their cell numbers. Many may be free lancing after the first of the year which could result in better service and lower prices.

I didn't know that Heavenly closed but Jacquline was nuts.

Well they do have a old lady lisa (I think her name is) I was nude on the table when she came in so what the hell could I have done. She gets right to it.. does not even try to ack like she is going to massage you... try a few others there just because they are open so late. After 2 others and some bad service I will not go back to that place.

Roman Spa is HORRIBLE, the worst AMP I've ever been to. The women are very old. They give virtually NO massage, just about 5 min. of touching your back, then flip for a less than average, mechanical HJ.

I'd rather go see Julie down the street - that sums up how bad Roman is.

They do have a shower. I wouldn't be caught dead in the jacuzzi in the back room, can't imagine what's floating around in that thing.

Yeah, been to that place years ago. Never been back.

No HE = $10 tip max, if the massage was good. Never been hassled. If I ever was, I'd just tell her you want more, finish the job.

Most of Orange is a bust these days. The worthwhile exceptions have been mentioned on this board.

I checked the OC Court case file and found that there is a trial date set for Jan 12, 2009 in the matter of the City vs LFBC. Looks like LFBC is not out of the woods yet, but the City is spending the a lot of the good citizen's money trying to shut them down. Good luck ladies!

I went to harbor and fair to try one of the million massage places in the corner building. I ended up trying the one on the ground floor at the corner of the parking lot. Good looking girl. Ok massage, oil, rubbing talking. I wouldnt go back. Saw another cutie walking into angel spa and almost had to partake just for the company except I noticed she was followed by 3 old guys. So shes going to be busy.

White girls: new place upstairs, not heavenly. It just opened last week, I went in and talked to the girl and she says they are new. White girls, ok looking, one wearing sweats with a nice body. My technician was Grace, Chinese, and after some talking found out that she used to work at Eden Spa. The towel stayed on the whole time and I was pretty sure nothing was gonna happen. On the flip again the towel stayed on. I asked her if she liked working there, and she said business wasn't good and there was way too much competition. She said most of the guys that came through were looking for something "extra" (duh) and she didn't do that. Strictly legit but a decent massage.

I think it was mentioned somewhere else that this place replaced Heavenly. It's right across from it. This is suite "H". I went to check the door for Heavenly which still had a sign on it but was locked.

Was going to a place near 17th and Main. Was great. Last visit the girl was older but did a good job. She told me the other younger ladies left to start a new place on Euclid near the 22. This place was all younger and plenty of fakees. Will go back. PM for details. 40 for half. The rest is the usual.
