Hi, I will be attending the NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center in a few weeks. Are there any strolls near the Convention Center to pick up SW's and take back to the room or any good AMPS with in walking? I have a full week to play around each night after the show.
If any of you travel to any of the southern states let me know and I can tip you off to some fun.

You will need a car. If you have one head south on Harbor, look between GG Blvd south to 405 freeway. Hotspot usually around Harbor and First st. Check out the board for others.

I drove back from dinner last night around 8:00 pm down beach blvd. From Warner to Knott's Berry Farm and back to Ball, and not a single SW. A bit disapppointing. What's up with the double G? This is the second time I've been down here and I've seen almost nothing. Another crackdown? There were some bigger BSWs out the first night (like 12/29) and even less last night. Cruised Harbor last night from 9 to 12. Saw a few fugly's and then all of a sudden I came up on a beautiful blonde closer to the 22 by the wiener place. I have been relatively satisfied using Craigs List, and have had "many, many good girls" in the Anaheim hotel area. I have also been lucky with LAX area. A few pointers to the uninitiated.
1. There are many ROBs and scams artists on Craigs list. I never met them personally, but have seen reports of such. You can almost always tell a ROB if you look at the post. They all share the one of the following qualities:
- No picture
- A beautifully airbrushed photo of a young penthouse type girl
- Very lewd and graphic language (as if written by a man)
- A picture stolen from another craigs list ad
Look for amatuerish or non-airbrushed photos of attractive, but not "model quality" girls. Some girls are members of City Vibe, which provides a nice photo shoot for them, which is OK. Some girls photo shop their phone number into the photo, so you can check that it is the same number that appears in the post.
A real escort usually does this for a living and wants to think of herself in a positive light, so she will not use crude language in her post. You will often find rambling sentances about how elegant and beautiful and sexy she is, kind of like your wife are girlfriend nagging in your ear. If you get that sense, then things are good, read on. Learn to avoid the scams and ROBs. I admit that I was fooled once, but saved myself by pointer #2.
2. Alwasy always always verify with a 2nd source. Find reviews on another site. There are many sites that do this, and I won't mention here b/c it may get automatically blanked out anyways. Find girls with many reviews going back many months. Find girls with average reviews of 7 or 8. Do not find a girl with all 10 reviews, she will be too expensive. This leads me to pointer #3.
3. Expect to pay standard AMP in/out rates, i.e. $.5 ota. Don't ever pay more than $$. Many will quote you $$$, but these can always be had for $.5. I never even consider girls who quote more than $$$, but as a beginner I used $$ as a rule. Negotiate, but be nice about it. Don't try to negotiate on the phone, she doesn't want to talk money, and if she does, see pointer #1. Once you arrive at her place and she quotes you X, say that you usually pay X / 2. SANTA ANA - Police on Friday arrested a man suspected of leading what authorities described as an Orange County prostitution ring linked to a national operation using Asian women smuggled into the United States.
Investigators with the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force arrested Duc Tuan Dinh, 34, of Santa Ana on suspicion of pimping and pandering. Dinh is suspected of running about 10 brothels across Orange County.
"This is how human trafficking translates to the local level," said Westminster police Sgt. Tom Findley.
Dinh, who is awaiting trial on separate prostitution charges, was picked up Friday afternoon at 5001 Progresso St., a one-story neighborhood home that police say was turned into a brothel.
Five prostitution suspects, two people suspected of being customers, and a man believed to be working with Dinh were picked up for questioning, Findley said.
The women were Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai immigrants. They arrived at the house from Oakland, Seattle, West Virginia and New York, Findley said.
Police said they have hit other homes connected with Dinh, where the women were mostly undocumented immigrants smuggled or trafficked into the country from Southeast Asia, Westminster police Lt. Derek Marsh said. Police did not specify how many other locations had been targeted.
It is unclear whether the women picked up in Santa Ana were smuggled into the country or if they were being held against their will. They will be questioned to determine if they were victims of human trafficking, Findley said.
"This is one of apparently many brothels that are related across the country," Marsh said.
The bust was the culmination of a seven-month investigation that began in Westminster's Little Saigon, Findley said.
Police said Dinh housed four to five women in each location, operating about three locations at a time.
In spans of about 10 to 15 days, the brothels were shut down and relocated in order to avoid detection, police said.
"They rotate them from city to city and even state to state," Findley said.
Customers were notified when a new woman was brought in or when a location was changed, Findley said.
Investigators worked the case with immigration officials as part of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, a loose coalition composed of local and federal law-enforcement agencies, as well as several nongovernmental organizations.
Tammy Tran, co-founder of the Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking based in Westminster, said many women smuggled into the United States are forced to work in the sex trade to pay off debts incurred while being brought into the country. The women and their families are threatened with physical harm unless the debts are paid, she said.
About 700,000 people are trafficked each year around the world, Tran said, and about 17,000 make their way into the United States. About 80 percent of them are women, and 50 percent are minors.
Police said Dinh paid proxies, usually men, to rent the homes.

I couldn't agree more... I've been advocating anyone arrested for ANY charges related to prostitution to fight the charges based on CIVIL RIGHTS!
If enough people start fighting the charges, it will start costing them (government) money, so they will think twice about stings... If we are really persistant, we can possibly get some of the prostitution laws declared unconstitutional!

I was in Dana Point last week. Went to the place near blue lantern (in the little shopping plaza) I forget the name as the place is somewhat forgettable. 40 for 30 min. There was only 1 girl working (Monday nite). A Korean with a real nice rack, but everything was covered up. I got a 6-8 min back rub, then she went straight for the special place (AR). Then had me flip over. The doorbell and phone went off 3 times and she stopped all 3 times and left the room. Finally after I got to feel squeeze the rack, she finished the job. I tipped 40 and made my way out. I tried to get dressed quickly while she was getting my water so I could stiff her on the tip as the service was very frustrating up to the end. I still thought about it as she was alone and there was no way she could stop me....but in the interest of no drama, I gave her the tip.

Operators Of Alleged Yorba Linda Brothel Arrested
(CBS) YORBA LINDA, Calif. Two women were arrested for allegedly running a brothel out of a condo in quiet Yorba Linda, police said.
Sunny xxxx, 56, of Garden Grove, and Soon xxx, 53, of Los Angeles were taken into custody Jan. 11 in a condominium complex in the 5900 block of Portsmouth Road in Yorba Linda, Brea police Sgt. Darrin Devereux. The Brea Police department polices the neighboring Orange County city.
Devereux said the investigation began when Brea police detectives discovered an Internet message offering “hot Asian girls.”
Undercover officers called the number, got an address and went to the location, where they negotiated sex with two women for $200 [i hope thats a quote for 2 girls @ the price of 200 all inclusive, not seperate invoices!], Devereux said.
The prostitution arrests are believed to be a first for Yorba Linda, he said.
"We had prior history in massage parlors, but this is the first in a condominium or a home," Devereux said.
The women who worked in the condominium handled about 10 male clients a day.
Residents said they had no idea that a prostitution business was being operated in the condominium complex.

I was hoping to see some photos of the women that worked at this "brothel". Did they bust the providers or just the two older ladies (mamasans)? Or WERE the two older ladies the providers?
Yep, the two ladies in the photo's posted look like the mms and her friend. This must be a bust done in record time. I'd guess it was simply the CL ads and probably a zero tolerance policy by Yorba Linda.
The news video said that there is a OC Sheriff team that spends all of their time viewing the Internet and following up. Interesting that there are so many other well known locations, but they seem to operate without trouble.

I understand everyone's frustration about this, it ticks me off too... Just remember, the cops are doing what they are ordered to do by the city.
If you talk to many cops off the record you would find they would rather not have to deal with this stuff.
Anyone who is arrested, mongers or providers, should start challenging the laws, not the charges!
At the very least, it will start to COST the governments money to go to court, especially if you win. At best, maybe we can get these puritanical, outdated laws overturned!

I know a friend that lives in that complex. It is one of the quitest neighborhoods that I have seen.
You know, alot of this goes back on to the operators of this establishment. They simply didn't choose a location where something like this would get by, like the lampson location. Not to mention, Yorba Linda/Brea are smaller cities and have resources to put something like this to an end very quickly. As we have all seen.

A bit off topic for the general discussion here but has anyone had any luck with hooking up on the Casual Encounters section on CL. That is a tough one for a married guy, unless his wife is very open... or he can convince her it just a POLITICAL issue (i.e. those who support legalization of drugs and don't use them).
As far as legal strategies, first look at the advantages (other than being able to get laid at will):
Believe it or not, most feminists SUPPORT legalization. It is not that they want to let us guys get laid, but they feel that as long as prostitution is illegal, sex slavery will continue. Whereas if prostitution were to be legal, that would make prostitutes into legitimate business women, empowering them to make their own decisions.
For example, if a prostitute is raped by a guy, or attacked by her pimp, chances are she will not go to the police... and if she does go the the police, she may get more harassment for them. HOWEVER, if she is attacked as a LEGITIMATE business person, she WILL report attacks, and the police will have to respond the same way they would to any other legitimate business. Face it, it will be safer for the provider and the client if everything is legal.
The above example just mentioned the advantage to the provider, now look at the advantage to the public:
1. First and formost, it will greatly reduce or ELIMINATE the crime resulting from prostitution. Just as the prostitute can contact the police if she is robbed, so can the client.
2. Rather than wasting LE resources on catching two consenting adults who are not bothering anyone else, our police and courts can do what they were originally intended to do: CATCH BAD GUYS! Keep in mind, governments can still say you can't do the act in your car, on a public street.
3. With prostitution legalized, the providers will be licensed, pay taxes and, just like any other business that can affect public health, they must comply with health regulations (i.e. use condoms, get regular STD tests)... This will greatly reduce STDs, and allow the government to MAKE money, instead of wasting it (i.e. expensive sting operations).
Cities should still be able to limit/restrict public activity (streetwalkers) to a certain area, or require that all activity be at a discreet location (i.e. personal ads).
Now that explains the business, LE and financial aspect. What grounds do we use to demand legalization? TWO CONSENTING ADULTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH THEIR BODIES, PROVIDING THEY DO NOT VIOLATE THE RIGHTS OF ANOTHER... PERIOD!
It is your money, what right does the government have to tell how to spend it (now I am preaching to the choir)... You can legally go to a bar, meet a girl and FUCK HER BRAINS OUT without ever even knowing her name or seeing her again. Why does it become illegal if you pay her? If you meet the same girl and take her to a fancy restaurant, spend $200 (or more) on the meal and drinks and you get laid, is that prostitution?
I've been to EVERY continent on Earth (except Antartica) and went to many countries that legalized prostitution. They do not have the problems that we have with it. Most people look at us (Americans) and see us as absurdly prude, Victorian, Hypocrites (for the reasons that I mentioned above).
How does that sound so far? Now let's look at the strategies:

You are not ranting at all. You sound more like a serious law guy than a plane guy. In fact, I very much enjoy your brainstorm of these legal strategies. Like you, I am pissed off at the hypocrisy of local elected governments and the incompetence and disservice of local law enforcements.
As far as strategies, it may be too much and too difficult to take on state-level legislation at this early stage. There are many obscure state and municipal laws that nobody bothers to prosecute. The effort should be focused at municipal level such that local governments dont direct their cops to investigate and enforce anti-prostitution laws. That would be far easier to accomplish. When laws are ignored, they can be changed more easily.
I agree with your strategies, but would add the followings:
1. Fight all or most prostitution charges. Enlist a few liberal attorneys and form an association of mongers/providers who would pay an insurance fee to have all prostitution charges fought and appealed to frustrate prosecution. I hope you guys know a few capable defense attorneys who are also prolific mongers.
2. Lobby everyone not to convict prostitution defendants, unless there are violence, exploitation or gross indiscretion.
3. Lobby the liberal press to report on the positive benefits of legalized prostitution and the crimes, diseases, abuses and exploitation created by anti-prostitution laws. Believe me the press can write much better than we can. They also have lots more clout, credibility and can reach much bigger audiences to put heavy pressure on the government.
4. Confront local governments with their failures to prevent and prosecute violent crimes vs. prostitution.
5. Demand city councils to stop expending any resources into investigation, entrapment and prosecution of all discreet sexual activities. You can call anonymously, write letters, or hire private investigators to dig up dirt, or set up your councilmen in their sexual indiscretions.
Those are some of my quick thoughts.
While OC cops are busy going around busting johns and prostitutes, Sheriff Mike Carona has been sued by a number of women for sexual harassment. His lieutenant Don Haidle had to resign because of publicity surrounding his son's conviction of gang rape of a then 16-year-old girl. The kid and his dumb friends are looking at 10-20 years in prison. It probably would not have happened if prostitution were legalized and properly controlled.

As much as I support all efforts to legalize our hobby, as a lawyer I think that the strategies calculated to turn the tide based on constitutional challenges is both wrong headed and a depletion of scarce resources. As a constitutional matter, the privacy theories that support the contraception and abortion decisions have never been extended, as far as I know, to prostitution. The reason is that the state's police power is thought to legitmately extend to activities where it is likely that there is other collateral consequences to the private behavior that extends beyond the participants. No ill effect to other flows from the sales of birth control pills; however, there is little doubt that prostitution can have collateral effects (i.e., street walkers parading near residential neighborhoods, the related sale of drugs to addicts, etc.). While one could legitimately argue that these adverse effects of prostitution stem largely from its illegal status, that is a matter of political policy, not constitution principle.
Having said that, the political approach is where all of the energy should be directed, with the recognition that with the ascendancy of the religious right, it is a very tough battle. The Dutch and German models are probably the best for the US to emulate, and those are the ones we should politically support. It will be next to impossible, however, to find political candidates to get on board with this since the culture isn't yet behind it. Mongers should try to move the culture, in part by stressing the libertarian arguments raised here before, but perhaps the more effective approach would be to stress that the victims of prostitution are actually the providers themselves, in an environment where the hobby is illegal. That approach would likely stimulate the interest of more liberals, who with conservative libertarians (and many mongers are) might move the culture enough to prompt some political action.
As much as I dislike his work, a capable propagandist, like Michael Moore, might just be the person who could make a film about the plight of prostitutes, and perhaps move things in the the right direction.
But don't waste a penny on lawyers for the constitutional approach. It is a complete non-starter.
Mexico is relatively immune to the accusation of allowing prostitution because, technically, prostitution is illegal throughout Mexico. However, Mexico has zones of tolerance, i.e. 3-4 square block areas in major towns, where the laws of prostitution are NOT enforced. A novel idea, huh?
In the USA, gambling was illegal in the 49 states save Nevada. Eventually, other areas got the idea that to give Nevada a sole distributorship on such a lucrative activity was just plain stupid economics. Thus first Atlantic City in New Jersey, then Detroit in Michigan got into the casino gambling business.
Even in California, limited legalized gambling arose in Gardena and Bell Gardens (I'm probably omitting some other cities too) where poker and blackjack could be played. Then the Indians decided it was profitable business to cater to the gambling fever. The Indians sovereign status, which made it virtually impossible for state/federal LE to squash gambling activity, the ability for Indians to do this on their own lands is intriguing, yes?
Perhaps the best approach to get prostitution going on in the USA is ... to not try to legalize it (too hard). Instead leave the laws on the books, but not enforce them.
Remember during the hippie era communities like Ann Arbor, MI and Berkeley in CA had some ridiculous penalty for pot possession ... a $5 fine (he-he-he).

She always taught me to speak out against hypocrisy and injustice... Radical activists have been in my family for generations. ...I agree with your strategies, but would add the followings:
1. Fight all or most prostitution charges. Enlist a few liberal attorneys and form an association of mongers/providers who would pay an insurance fee to have all prostitution charges fought and appealed to frustrate prosecution. I hope you guys know a few capable defense attorneys who are also prolific mongers.
2. Lobby everyone not to convict prostitution defendants, unless there are violence, exploitation or gross indiscretion.
3. Lobby the liberal press to report on the positive benefits of legalized prostitution and the crimes, diseases, abuses and exploitation created by anti-prostitution laws. Believe me the press can write much better than we can. They also have lots more clout, credibility and can reach much bigger audiences to put heavy pressure on the government.
4. Confront local governments with their failures to prevent and prosecute violent crimes vs. prostitution.
5. Demand city councils to stop expending any resources into investigation, entrapment and prosecution of all discreet sexual activities. You can call anonymously, write letters, or hire private investigators to dig up dirt, or set up your councilmen in their sexual indiscretions.
Those are some of my quick thoughts.
While OC cops are busy going around busting johns and prostitutes, Sheriff Mike Carona has been sued by a number of women for sexual harassment. His lieutenant Don Haidle had to resign because of publicity surrounding his son's conviction of gang rape of a then 16-year-old girl. The kid and his dumb friends are looking at 10-20 years in prison. It probably would not have happened if prostitution were legalized and properly controlled...

However, LE needs to concentrate not on the end user; the working girl. They need to use their resources more directly and affectively to get to the source of the drug problem, the big-time drug dealers.

I understand what you are talking about, and decriminalization is a STEP in the right direction. Many people do not realize it, but prositution is ILLEGAL in Thailand, and (obviously) the laws are rarely enforced.
However until it is legalized we will not be able to iron out the problems. If prosititution were decriminalized, we would still be subject to harassment at the whim of municipal governments. There will always be Victorian fanatics who will try to have the laws enforced.
We have to put our feet down for FULL legalization.

This idea is clever. It was in fact practiced by the mamasans for at least 2 decades at a few hard up cities, including the 3 above. Massage parlors were abundant in those more tolerant cities where discreet vices and law and order seemed to coexist peacefully. I was very tempted to pick up the Rumores Santa Ana newspaper and start calling some Latinas, but I had already ran out my time with the cruise. I will pick up the latest edition tomorrow and start calling some numbers.

Hi guys, as promised I picked up a Rumores paper today in Santa Ana and went hunting for some action. However, before I picked up the paper and started calling numbers I made a quick Harbor trip to see if I spotted any SWs. Unfortunately, none could be found!

If you decide to venture into Rumores girls, I advice you to pick up a fresh copy since these girls operate by cell numbers that frequently change. I’ve done Rumores about 4 times now, and have twice hit jackpots (9+ providers). Those are pretty decent odds considering the low SW activity going on at Harbor.

First pass S on Harbor (from the 5 to 405) at 7pm showed 5 BSW and 1 WSW in S.A. Saw all of the BSWs plus 2 more on my northbound pass.
Made another pass just before 9pm and there were several BSW's at the usual spots. Harbor closed at the 22 until 6/23 from 8 pm to 6 am,for construction.
Cruised Harbor last night around 11pm-1230am, good action exited Harbor off the 405 fwy, made right headed towards the Disneyland direction. !st spotted a SW on Gary and Harbor by the Galaxy Theater, 7-8 LSW. Then SW #2 was spotted at Edinger, 8-9 SW. I saw 2-3 SW (BSW? LSW?) that ranged 6-8 on Camille St (Used Cars Lot). Last SW action spotted was on 5th st and Harbor. The defense may have raised the issue of entrapment. You know the argument. It goes something like ...
"Your guys walk into our business. You get undressed. YOU suggest money for sex ... a crime if ever there was one. And when our employee massuese takes the bait you claim that the employee is on the wrong side of the law and that your behavior has no flaws. Prove to the Court that this sex-for-pay behavior would have taken place if your side had done nothing to encourage it. You Can't!"

Yesterday, I was going to CVS in Anaheim hills to buy some condoms when I noticed some high priced call girls in a mercedes parked two spots next to me. From what I saw on craigslist, those are about in line with others offering those services.
That being said, thanks but no thanks. If she was really all that, then she probably wouldn't need to post 20 or so times a day. I always figure the ones who do that are the ones with plenty of time on their hands.
There's one provider in the ventura boards that looks like an aged barfly, who wants upwards of 300 bucks an hour for her time, which is laughable.
